If they're not doing gens you can kill them. Pallets are limited. It's not their fault they got matched with you lol.
Yes, it is.
This is an obvious smurf group. They are abusing the survivor matchmaking protections to grief new killers by (likely) deliberately deranking.

While I think it sucks what happened, this isn't holding the game hostage or bannable IMO. They were playing the game and things were happening. You even got a kill.
If they hid the whole time and didn't do gens then that I would say is holding the game hostage because they aren't even playing. But getting chased is playing the game.
Really you should have just slugged them all. Picking them up when they have flashlights like that was just not a wise decision.
Actually - yes, they were holding the game hostage. They were deliberately trying to stall things out to grief the killer in their nasty little smurf group.
This was a group of players out to make life miserable for new killers.

I don't think they should be penalized for playing well. I think they spent a lot of time playing dbd and it would be wrong for dbd to penalize people who have spent a lot of time playing their game. They have invested a lot of time supporting dbd. One would think that's what dbd would want. I think some of y'all are crybabies. Just get good and match their skill level or go play fortnite or something. If you can hang with the big boys don't play with their game. It's clear they were swf. If you can't keep up dc and accept the penalty for not being as good. The killers clearly have an advantage as for as being faster then the survivors. Use that to your advantage. Find ways to get what you need done instead of whining about what others do or don't do. This should have been a teachable moment instead of finger pointing. How hard you practice shows. The way you shut someone up is beating them at their own game not tattle telling. "Oh they were to good and their friends were really good too their so toxic". I can't take sensitive people that game that's the worst. I would have wanted to play them over and over again until I got just as good as them. I know some of y'all are sensitive so let me say this I'm not trying to be rude just saying what I would tell myself. Things don't always go your way, sometimes you get a raw deal but this was no raw deal this was Claudette at her finest or worst lol.
Let me guess. You also run smurfcomps and don't like being called out on it?
How about this - stop abusing the current system and fight killers of your own rank?

Dude is this for real?
If it is, you were screwed by matchmaking. This was clearly an experienced SWF bully squad who had a field day with you. What they did is actually a banable offense, so good on you to have video evidence since without customer provided videos the DEVs can´t take action against any kind of offense.
Without wanting to sound condescending, but you have a long way to go friend. Kudos to you for not DCing, hope you get more appropriate matches in the future. Btw, strongly advice you to check out some guides about loops/chasing etc. You whiff a hell of a lot.
Still got that nagging suspicion though that this might be a staged incident.
Actually, no. This is working as intended.
It's a smurfcomp. About half my matches at the same rank as OP look exactly like this.
It's because the devs removed both the old smurf protections and killer matchmaking protections, while keeping survivor matchmaking protections.
This ensures that a group of, say, 3 rank 1s and a rank 13 in SWF will always face a killer of rank 13 or below. All you need is one friend to deliberately tank their rank and you can roflstomp new players to your hearts' content.
It's prolific at lower ranks.
-
Right now, survivors at lower ranks have a unique protection, in that they will always face a killer of similar or lower rank to them. Killers used to have the same protections, but this was quietly removed some time ago.
This means that a high ranked survivor can die on hook repeatedly to artificially drop their ranking down to silly levels to face lowbie killers exclusively. This wouldn't be such a problem, except that then, if they queue with a rank 1 survivor, they will still face a killer rank-matched with the lowbie, allowing them to face-stomp lowbie killers at will. Check the pics I linked above. This is basically typical of 1/2 my matches at present. It's really common - mostly streamers who want to look amazing.
For a while, there was a unique protection against this, where a SWF group would always face a killer of a similar ranked killer to the highest ranked survivor in the SWF group. But this was also quietly removed.

smurf protections still in the game, this is just matchmaking being stupid
Nope.
I'd have to dig up the thread, but a dev confirmed that both killer matchmaking and this 'smurf protection' were quietly removed some time ago.

I totally agree with you, but how would do deal with Coms? I think there is little to nothing that can be done.
Easy:
- Restore killer matchmaking
- Restore anti-smurf measures.
- Killers gain a bonus 25% BP for every survivor queued together.
- Generators take 15% longer to repair for every survivor queued together (or) survivors will have their matchmaking rank increased for every survivor queued together.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
Why cant Killers accept that SWF does not mean that they become godlike players by just clicking a Button to invite other players to their lobby?
The problem is that, at lower ranks, SWF is synonymous with 'smurf group'. These were all encountered at rank 13-14 and about half of my games look like this right now, making it very difficult to rank up.
@Bullettimegod said:
Look. If you abolish swf. Or nerf them. The game dies. While i agree of giving killer/solo q bonus bloodpoints if they have a swf in a lobby. Like x 1.5 per surv in swf group. I do not agree in nerfing swf or anything like that.
The devs don't care. That's the thing.
How do I know?
There was a protection to stop what I posted above, where SWF groups would always be matched against killers of the same or higher rank than the highest ranked survivor in the party.
BHVR quietly removed this because these same groups complained a few times that their queues were longer.
-
I'd love to see Pig get a hefty movement speed increase while crouching and for her addons to get some love.
That said, keep in mind that the devs insist that Pig is actually excellent and that literally nobody knows how to play her right.

There are no strategies that I consider toxic, that's right, tunneling, gen rushing, mori on first hook, stacking slowsdowns, slugging, using BNP, using DS and unbreakable, using OoO, camping etc aren't toxic, because they are real gameplay strategies.
I would consider cheating, talking ######### in the end game chat, and literally waiting out the entire bleedout timer while standing over a survivor toxic, because it wastes time.
If you consider basic gameplay strats that you don't like toxic, then I don't know what to say, just change your mindset.
Getting one of your mates to artificially tank his rank so two red/purple rankers can queue with him to roflstomp lower ranks is toxic as all hell.

So why does it matter who bring what perks into a match... No one is forced to run specific perks for anything
And don't @ me about "second chance" cause the only way a "second chance" can exist is to be able to bring survivors back from death...
Ruin has already been changed- Nothing else can be changed (IMO)
Tinkerer has already been changed- I don't see this perk being changed so soon
Undying is new and has yet to be fully tested ( I don't even have it yet)- The Devs don't have enough stats yet
DS has been changed multiple times- What else can be dome to make the perk still be anything
Unbreakable only works in the dying state- What can be done to change this perk
DS is easy. Give some visual cue when it's active, so killers don't have to dramatically change their playstyle just because it exists. And disable it the second a survivor enters a locker.
Also - nitpicking semantics isn't an especially productive line of discussion.

I don't want to go further into the ds discussion cause it gets nowhere. If you want to make another threat about it.
Shrug. It's entirely relevant to the discussion at hand. You don't get to nerfherd without people pointing out that there is a reason for killers to need some strong perk combos at present.

Umm first those ranks are easy as heck to beat. I assume youre not that good(no offense) so I don't blame You but its not just survivors because killers are capable of choosing not to take their anger out. Same with survivors. Also multiple people have been tunneled instantly no matter the gens just because there wasnt a DS which means that those survivors will put DS on because a killer seen the opportunity for an easy match and played like that. Its not just survivors and thinking like that makes you part of the issue believe it or not
Yes. I'm very much still learning.
So why do at least half my matches at rank 13-14 look like this?
If it's easy to beat a 3 man team who clearly had someone smurf their rank down to roflstomp over newbies like me...well, I'd like to see you do it.

Unless I'm being camped, there's no reason to not get me before my second phase. Even while running kindred, I still almost died on first hook?? It makes the game super unfun when I'm dead on hook only a few minutes into a game.
Call me a bad teammate I don't care, the real bad teammates are the ones who let this happen to their other teammates every SINGLE trial. After my second phase on my FIRST hook, I'm 100% out of there. There's a big difference between getting caught a second time and then going into your second phase on hook than getting caught a second time and then immediately dying.
Unless the killer is face camping then I see no reason at all to let your teammates become dead on hook.
Well that certainly makes my life as killer easier. And yeah, you are going to get low sometimes, especially if I chase you to some random corner of the map and survivors have to get past me to unhook. Hang in there! (pun definitely intended).

Why don't you tell that to all the people playing spirit/nurse/hag/oni/freddy/pyramid head with mori's at the higher ranks? Absolutely braindead killers that anyone can pick up and do well with.
It's pretty miserable for survivors, but effective for the killer. So I don't blame survivors for adapting. It's just playing to win. Nothing more.
Firstly, if you consider Hag or Nurse to be braindead....you know, I'm not even going to finish that sentence.
Also - it's because you and your mates decided to all choose Blendettes and sent me to Haddonfield.
-
@MusicNerd_TC said:
Alright, I started thinking about this after @MadLordJack said that nurse was busted and OP and that he hated how people defend nurse because she's "the hard one".
Nurse is by far the best killer in dbd, and I see more people wanting spirit and deathslinger nerfed than nurse, who has even less counterplay. Now, I agree that deathslinger and spirit do need some tweaks to their kit, but why not nurse? I see people defend her saying "she's a high skill killer", at least with deathslinger you can break LOS and pre drop pallets, slinger takes a lot of skill to play, almost as much as nurse, and I see more people talking about slinger than nurse.
I'm not saying nurse needs a nerf or anything, but I just want to know why people defend her for being high skill. She has almost no counterplay, you can't juke a nurse, the nurse misses, and since she no clips through everything, you can't use pallets or vaults as well.
See - that's the thing.
At higher ranks, survivors know Nurse inside and out. They know how she will move, how to juke her and how to bait her. She is such a high risk/high reward killer that a single mistake is insanely costly for her.
To play Nurse well, you don't just need to be good. You need to be amazing. And unless you are going to totally rework her (good luck!) any nerf to her will make her all but useless to the vast majority of players. That's terrible design.
-
Shrug.
I really don't care either way.
I would DC occasionally, if I got Haddonfield several times in a row on Bubba or something. Man I hate that map.
That said, 1-2 survivors DCing early makes for a miserable game. Either I have to wipe everyone out and feel like a heel, or I have to let them farm and waste my time.

I think that dbd should be scary even after 100 hours, people make the argument that when you watch a horror movie 20 times its not gunna be scary anymore which is true, but dbd is not a fixed experience where the same thing will happen over and over again.
The problem is that the general gameplay feels safe once you understand it. As a survivor you have many "second chances" whether it be perks or hooks or even just healing. Examples:
- If the killer finds you and hits you, you can still run away and either escape and heal somewhere or be chased for awhile until you get hit again which leads into number 2
- You have a total of 3 times you need to be hooked if you are rescued before your hook timer runs out.
- There are many perks in the game that can save your life that are not complicated (Dead Hard, BT, DS, Etc.)
Before I say more I am not saying that this gameplay loop is bad in anyway, but rather am saying that it does not support the playstyle of a "scary" game.
There are many things that could be changed to make the game scary but I would not know where to start.
Do you agree or disagree? Seems to me that dbd needs to sells their horror slasher title a little better what do you think?
I don't know. Certain killers (Hag, Nurse, Pig, Wraith) have amazing jumpscare potential.

The only problem i see with spinechill is that sometimes it can make games boring as killer because people just hide all the time and you spend most of the game looking for people, which is a boring playstyle. And as for OoO, it's far less useful for swfs now because people have learned how to communicate etc, so as long as one swf member knows where the killer is at all times, there's no use for OoO.
Ok look maybe ds unbreakable combo's do need a change, but the arguments people use for it are extremely dumb. Yes they can jump in lockers and stuff but why are you going for a recently unhooked person anyways unless you rlly need to tunnel someone out of the game, in which case taking a potential ds is the price to pay.
Because that recently unhooked person has a tricked out toolbox or a key?
Because they are bodyblocking me constantly?
Because they ran directly into me, or I caught them healing?
There is a reason that DS is the subject of so many complaints. It's so damn abusable that even if a survivor doesn't have it, you have to play as if they did.

Ummm spine chill abusable? That's a new one.
OoO has been falling out of the meta for a long time, when was the last time you came across a full OoO swf?
I don't have a problem with 99% of other killer perks but this build makes almost every other killer build look like trash. You know there's a problem when one build is 1000 times stronger than any other.
Somewhat often, actually. I'll see if I can grab you some postgame screens when I play tomorrow. About every 3rd match is 3-4 people playing together, one with OoO. Always Claudettes, for some reason.
Spinechill negates stealth and 'looky' killers amazingly hard with almost no way to counterplay, unless you want to try scouting gens while running backwards.
And yes - this is a strong build. If it's pushing other killer builds to the way-side, perhaps it's those other builds that need a look?

camping pallets will usually end up making the survivor do worse, and looping is literally what the game is meant to be. Fun for both sides.
Camping hooks, its annoying AF b/c the killer is literally is preventing someone from playing the game.
This is a troll post right?
Shrug. It really depends on context.
If I hook someone and have gens in the area, damn straight I'm going to patrol. Like - I'm not going to let you unhook safely if I see you coming.
A better question is - why do killers feel the need to camp? Is it because they are getting thrown up against far more experienced survivors, because killer matchmaking was quietly removed? Is it because they are getting put up against smurfcomps? Is it because certain items, keys in particular require a killer to remove a survivor from the game ASAP?

This is a thread for you to share more pleasant moments from DbD, to remind us all that toxicity isn't all that there is. I'll start.
I'm not sure who the killer was playing, but long story short, I was destroyed by them early on. I think the last survivor got the hatch.
I checked out their profile, as I usually do when I'm killed off early to pass the time, and saw that they had played "Ori and the Will of the Wisps", the sequel to "Ori and the Blind Forest". These are games I've been curious about, but never really tried before because of all the promotion surrounding it (the more something is promoted, the less I want it and the more I suspect it's utter crap).
We ended up having a nice conversation about the games. I asked them what they thought of it, to which they gave the games complete praise. I explained that I wasn't too much into platformers, but they assured me that wasn't an issue because the game was simply incredible and I'd barely notice it.
I haven't bought either of them because I'm saving up for a new everything (GPU, CPU, RAM, motherboard) and still want Cyberpunk 2077, but I'll probably be checking out the first game when it's on sale. Worst case-scenario, my BF will love it.
What are your wholesome moments?
Oof. I won't lie - they have been few and far between these days. Lower ranks are infested with SWF premades consisting of 1-2 red ranks and 1-2 low ranks (all with full purple perks somehow), and these groups are so damn BM.
That said, I've had a few fun moments where a survivor DCs and I play around with the remainder and let them get some gens done. Sometimes they are grateful.
Also - a moment where I snuck into a conga line of survivors headed for a gen as Pig. They didn't notice me for ages.

Because it's not like there are plenty of other strong kliler perk combos out there right? I'm literally a killer main and i've been through with people so many times how ds unbreakable is avoidable 99% of the time.
Even if DS unbreakable is "game breaking" etc, that's it. There's nothing else like it for survivors. Killers have a much larger variety to choose from.
DS, in and of itself, isn't gamebreaking. It's how it interacts with stuff like lockers and other perks.
Spinechill and OoO are far more oppressive in SWF groups anyway.
Also - the second I see 'as a killer main' I picture Elmer Fudd in a bunny costume.

This. Killers have been dealing with DS/Unbreakable/OoO etc etc for YEARS.
Barely a months has gone by since they've finally had an actual super strong combo (that has counters, unlike it's survivor counterparts) and people already want it nerfed.
It's because survivors have become complacent. Especially with killer matchmaking removed, combined with the old protections against smurfcomps being removed - both in complete silence.
Survivors consider a game a loss unless all 4 escape.
I was rank 14 by the way. This is a full premade. Their perks could have been way more cancerous, but I still got stomped into the dirt, and teabagged for my trouble. I basically had to camp #3 to get a kill. And then I get yelled at in postgame for camping.

Yes toolboxes the thing that only the best toolbox can help finish a gen in half the time. Or a key something that they cant use if you can apply enough pressure. I never tunnel over items that's just dumb and unnecessary except against a key. And meta perks is a good reason too? Wow so original lets just gen rush since killers have ruin or pop and then make them unhappy. Do you guys realize that thid is a circle? The meta is ran because of killers and survivors beating the other down. When killers tunnel they say oh just do gens and when Wendi we are assaulted with how we got carried by our perks and how we are toxic gen rushers and all survivors want is a fair game and some time to play and I dont know I find people like you funny. Or at least that mindset the only part I agree on is the key
Yup. It's a circle. But it's one being kept in motion by survivors, not killers. Although, to be fair, the devs are to blame - by removing killer matchmaking and protections to stop smurfcomps...yeah. Killers didn't start this.
When I'm trying to climb the ranks and all I get is 3-4 man smurfcomps that are insanely BM, nigh uncatchable and all running crazy stuff, damn straight I'm going to have to adjust my playstyle. And it may not be in a manner that is enjoyable for the other side.
For instance - this game, from last night. Players 1, 3 and 4 are all queued together, clearly on voicecoms. Note the ranks of #3 and #4. If I hadn't chased and camped #1, I would have ended the match with 0 kills. And then I go into match 2 with a hate-boner and anticipating the same thing.

@Withered8 said:
Ok i've made a thread before about how i really disliked the ruin undying tinkerer meta and i've come to the conclusion that it's not as bad as i may have claimed it was before, but I still think it needs a change for two reasons.
1: There's no need for the killer to activate it or work for it or change their playstyle for the perk or anything, yet it's still very strong. If we look at a few other strong killer perks you can see that they have conditions, drawbacks and require the killer to do somethign for it to work. Pop/BBQ/Dying light: You need to hook people. Surge/Infectious: You need to down people. And for those which don't they often have big drawbacks such as the ability for survivors to wait out corrupt and work on other gens. Ruin undying does all the work on its own and the killer basically doesn't even need to register that they have the perks on as it does all the work for them, much why the old ruin was changed.
2: Inconsistensy compared to other hex's + undying. Pretty much all other totem perks have a penalty if they are popped with undying still up, such that you loose all your stacks which applies to most hex's. Ruin however doesn't get any penalties or anything when it is popped whilst undying is still up and the game goes on as if it was never taken out.
Thus I've come up with one potential solution to the perk. If ruin is cleansed whilst undying is still up, ruin is deactivated for a minute or so. Whever it could be cleansed or not during this period I woudln't know but let me know your thoughts on this and any ideas for a change that you might have. I don't nescaserily want it too much weaker but rather more managable for survivors, especially solo q.
No. There are ways to counter it. The killer is subject to a fair amount of luck, even if only 1 surv is casually cleansing.
Frankly, right now - there is a lot of stuff on the survivor side of things that need to be brought back in-line before the devs even glance at killer perks. Highly abusable stuff like OoO, Spinechill, DS etc. that has literally no counterplay that won't get you cussed out in post-game.

Bingo. At Rank 1, it's to be expected.
Running into 3-4 man SWF groups at rank 15 (always 1-2 high rankers with a rank 18, all with meta perks) can be soul crushing, and they are always BM as hell.

Yeah, right, you can't really be sneaky on open maps. But on open maps you can't be sneaky no matter if survivor has spine chill or not.
You still can look away while coming to gen if gen behind wall, fence, tall obstacles. Even when you sneak up to 8 meters closer to survivor, it means you pretty much successfully countered spine chill. Survivor got less time to react and it's good even if you not grab him from gen.
Yes, I absolutely can. On Wraith or even Pig, I can make things happen. However, if I have to look away from the gen while doing so, it's basically pointless.
Like, I get it. You enjoy using Spinechill. But it really does make stealth killers a whole lot more useless than they already were.

If you suspect spine chill, just look away from the gen while approaching. Not a problem for a stealth killer. If he notice you anyway, that means he would notice you even without spine chill. But spine chill users often rely on their perk more than looking around so this counterplay may help.
This works until it doesn't. On more open maps, this just means that someone sees you coming, they scatter and you don't see where they go.
Why not just not let it work against undetectable killers? None of these are even close to top tier as it is.

Both roles are expected to pay the price for the fun of the other role, and it's an endless cycle that leads to toxicity on both ends. And yes, it is whataboutism. Just because there are OTHER problems, that doesn't mean that the topic of the OP isn't on in itself. It certainly is an issue that is a barrier for newer players, and makes for boring/unfun matches at high level, too.
When those other problems are concrete issues that are both more oppressive and unfun than 'facecamping' is (especially when it's hard for people to even agree on exactly what that would mean) then - no, it's not whataboutism.
I've been accused of 'facecamping' for:
- Patrolling past a hooked person on may way checking gens.
- Defending a generator near a hook.
- Following someone to a hook.
- An unhooked person running directly into me and me not letting them go.
- Me not letting survivors heal a slugged person.
Beyond this - why are killers feeling the need to facecamp? Is it just people being toxic, or is it killers getting frustrated with the blatant double standards BHVR are using to balance their game at present?
Until BHVR reimplements killer matchmaking and the old SWF anti smurf protections - damn straight. Someone is going to die that game even if I have to facecamp them. So, so sick of getting rolled over by 2-3 red/purple ranked survivors queueing with a deliberately deranked buddy to roll lowbie killers like me and then mock me after.

Whataboutism isn't in any way helpful, tbh. No reason why most of those can't be looked at.
I will say, though, the only instaheals that exist in this game iare For the People and Adrenaline, both of which are earned. Teabagging and flashlight spamming don't make the game unplayable, either. They're just toxic. And honestly, Spine Chill is fine where it is. The rest, though, definitely issues. Let's also add Moris to the list, though. :)
It's not whataboutism. It's a matter of priorities. Rather than working on something as subjective and nebulous as 'facecamping' - there are so many other issues that could be worked on.
This right here is the toxic little loop that exists right now where essentially, killers are always expected to pay the price for the fun of survivors.
- Spinechill is absolutely insane against any sort of stealth killer, especially in SWF groups.
- Instaheals are still very unfun to play against. Much as, I'm sure, facecamping is.
- Facecamping doesn't make the game unplayable. Not every survivor gets to escape, nor should they. And if I've been hit by my third smurfcomp in a row who are evidently trolling or being obnoxious, damn straight I'm camping one until they die. Ideally the most toxic.

I know dead hard is getting some hate right now because of servers but this perk is still very broken because how do you counter someone dead harding for distance to a pallet or window? I also know it's useless when in an open field so it's a bit of a problem. It's either the best exhaustion perk or the worst. What do you guys think? Do you play it? Do you think it's fair?
The problem isn't DH - the problem is multiple survivors with DH against killers with poor anti-loop or chase to begin with. It turns an uphill struggle into an impossible fight.
That said - DS, Spinechill and Object in SWF groups are way more oppressive.

Hi, my player account is DcForTheWin, it's been a while that I have been playing and more than ever, now that cross-platform is activated, I see plenty of new cases of facecamping and it really ruins the fun out of this game.. and you really need to have a specific build to be able to counter those toxic killers, something that almost never happens... wouldn't there be anything more we could do against them? I feel like report for unsportsmanlike isn't even doing anything..
Shrug.
As long as we first get rid of:
- Red rank survivors queueing with a deranked/smurf account buddy to ensure they can stomp a lowbie killer.
- Teabagging and flashspam.
- Survivors being able to change character/item just before match starts to stop a killer from countering them.
- Keys.
- Instaheals.
- Offensive DS play.
- Haddonfield.
- Spinechill working on undetectable killers.
- OoO in SWF groups.
Then we can talk about facecamping.
Maybe.

Some very interesting suggestions here. Keep 'em coming!

Should just play how u want to play. Trolling in DBD is the highlight of the day and it's the thing that draws ppl to it.
It's a game between humans. And we know what annoys each other.
The best thing to do in DBD is to piss the other players off for ur own amusement.
Slugging, camping, tunnelling, is totally cool. I love it. There are perks to counter all of these.
If ur emotionally stable playing StarCraft, u will be just fine playing DBD. Annoying ur opponent and make his life miserable is one the great things u can do in a competitive game.
Except that no...that's not it.
Perhaps it's different, coming from a martial arts background - but as heated as things can become in matches, you always respect your opponent and showing disrespect will ensure that you never have another match.
This sort of mindset is little more than empty sadism.

Right. Because everyone records all their games at all time.

* While under the effects of Borrowed Time, you have no collision with the killer.
Yes, my DS nerf has nothing to do with DS... but I think it addresses the core problem most killers have with DS without making it any less of an Anti-Tunnel perk. You can take DS, you can benefit from Borrowed Time... but what you can't do is turn yourself into an invincible human shield for 20 seconds, throw yourself on the killer's knife and, even if you eat two hits, be totally safe from being picked up for another 40.
Survivors get their Anti-Tunnel perk, completely unnerfed. Someone tires to tunnel you down, they're gonna pay for it.
Killers get to respect BT/DS and go for others without having to worry about an invincible survivor humping their leg, forcing a lose/lose.
Thoughts?
Regarding DS - honestly, I'd be happy if it just didn't work when grabbed. Oh man, the locker trick is so cancerous.
I'd also have BT and DS be exclusive. Maybe a shared cooldown or something. These two, plus DH are just ridiculous.

• We have officially deleted Dead by Daylight.
(In all seriousness though, just seeing them address SWF in SOME WAY would be the best gift they could ever give me)
I'd be so happy to see the old lowbie-stomping protections come back in.
Or something like Heroes of the Storm, where premades automatically have their MMR inflated proportionally to the number of survivors grouped, for that match.
The issue is that SWF provides such a massive boost against killers without any accounting for it.

That NOED change actually seems reasonable.
It's not bad at all. I'd rather see the exposed status removed and see a significantly higher movespeed bonus for the killer.

What killers is this combo the best on? + any other Hex Undying killer combos.
High mobility killers, like Freddy, Legion, Nurse and Spirit.
It's less effective on slower or more defensive killers.

Dead Hard - Removed the distance gained from using this perk
Sprint burst - Survivors who go into the game with this equipped will be wearing a diaper since its “babys first crutch perk”
NOED - If the killer has stayed in proximity of hooked survivors for more than 30 seconds ir hooked the same survivor 3 times in a row then NOED does not activate
Legion - “We discovered that players did not enjoy the Legion therefore we have removed him from the game”
Claudette - Now has a bright glow around her P3 cosmetics
Dead Hard - dunno. It may be more oppressive at higher ranks, but it's usually just an annoyance to me. I'd be happy to see it prevent vaulting though.
Sprint Burst - I'd rather have it give the killer an obvious cue (like giving the survivor a roadrunner 'meep meep!' sound effect when it activates) to let them know it's active.
NOED - Yes. Oh yes. I use this sometimes when I know it's going to be a rough match and dammit, can this perk be poisonous.
Claudette - perhaps a 'dream realm' type glimmer when she hides in the bushes for too long.

- Added an option to increase killer FOV by up to 15 degrees. Reworked shadowborn
- Increased the height of The Blight's camera slightly
- Increased Wraith's movement speed while cloaked to be on par with the green windstorm add-on. Reworked all windstorm add-ons into something else.
- The survivor aura reading of kindred is now default for all survivors.
- Add-ons and items can be salvaged to the entity for 50 Bloodpoints each. Ultra rares can be sold for 75 Bloodpoints
Literally the only 5 things I want from DbD now. I couldn't give less of a ######### about anything else, just give me these 3 things and I'll like this game again.
As a partial Wraith main...oh man yes to the WS addon. Currently he is a BP sink on other characters simply to play him properly.
Although his pink tier 'see all gen progression' addon probably needs a nerf. I'm...awful at the game and I pulverized a much higher ranked SWF group with these two addons.

I've seen the arguments between those for and against tunnelling. Most of who agree with it are killer mains.
They say its not 'toxic' but a form of 'strategy' and 'skill'. Now I don't know what's clever and well played about hitting the same person over and over again, but that's just me lol.
I'm not totally against tunneling, ive seen killers try their best and get zero hooks, gen rushed and swf'd. All killers want at least a kill and if its endgame, there's no other way but to go after the one whose just been unhooked. It's up to the teammates to bodyblock and distract.
Tunnelling isn't strategy or skill, but merely a form of last resort for kills.
P.S My opinion!
Why make multiple threads on this?
Also - yes, yes it is. And a necessary one at that. If you have a key or a toolbox, it's in my interest to get rid of you first. You made yourself a high priority target, not me.

What would you want to see being nerfed/reworked in survivor side? And why?
- Spinechill no longer works on Undetectable
- Decisive Strike cannot be used when grabbed from a locker
- Old anti-smurfcomp protections reenabled (SWF groups once again will be matched against killers at least at the rank of the highest ranked survivor in that group, not the lowest)

That looks extremely comical haha man, I just remembered the old cockroach glue trap scene in one of the Nightmare on Elm Streets. Those movies are campy as hell today but were pretty spooky when we were young
#1 is still pretty legit creepy.

Seriously, ever since the notes on the upcoming update were released all I see is negative comments towards the devs and the game itself from the Forums to YouTubers thoughts about the update. There’s even a thread making fun of Almo for not answering a comment directed at him. For the amount of complaining and negativity that people give to this game and to the devs, people still play it. At the end of the day if it’s really an issue or if it bothers you that much then don’t play the video game simple as that. Let the devs do their job please. At the moment since the update is focusing on Pyramid Head and pop, all of the killer mains are upset. This is just a tip of advice for both roles, when something doesn’t go YOUR way, don’t lash out at the devs or anyone for that matter and let them do their job. You wouldn’t like it if you were working and someone lashed out at you for trying to do your job or tell you how to do your job. That’s all.
No.
The devs make batty, blatantly unfair decisions that aren't just designed to make survivors more 'fun' but at the direct expense of killers.
Why did they remove killer matchmaking?
Why did they remove the protections against a high tier survivor group queuing with a deranked/smurf account to troll lowbie killers?
What are killer mains, especially those of us without thousands of hours of experienced supposed to think at this point?
