There was a debate that Nemesis shouldnt give the survivors a Sprint burst for the infection which I disagree with, but the topic I wanna talk about is:
Since the infection is considered by BHVR a "hit" cuz you get the sprint burst after it, why the hell does the Tentacle infection hit doesnt interrupt actions such as Cleansing, Unhooking or Repearing?
Since it gives the survivors the hit burst it should also interrupt these actions but no for some reason it has a second negative effect which is sometimes really sad and frustrating. Ofc if you know that then you will never try to hit a survivor like that but I think this is really unnecessary.
Frankly, Nemesis needs one of three things.
- A third zombie.
- Zombies to automatically respawn if they get stuck for 15 seconds.
- Tentacle to injure on first hit as well as applying infection.
He relies on his zombies immensely in order to not just be a worse Pyramid Head, and zombies are janky, RNG nuisances.

Me personally, theres at least 50 builds out there I'd love to run but can't because of perk limits....
I'd certainly have a lot more room to experiment with 'fun' perks like Third Seal, MAA, Insidious and Overcharge without feeling like I was gimping myself.

Killer might actually have a chance against top Survivors... for once.
Oh, you have a chance - you just need to camp and tunnel like a madman.
Seriously, watch any killer game at high level, unless they are running DH.

It's true, not every SWF is toxic, but most toxic players are SWFs.
I'd say that 100% of the 3 or 4man SWFs I've met in the last few days have been extremely toxic.
It's either endless teabagging and clicking while sitting at the exit gates refusing to end, or them calling you names in post-chat.
I had a group earlier cuss me out and accuse me of 'hacking' - because I had a goof-around game with Third Seal. When I pointed the perk out to them, I got cussed out for 'not playing the game normally'. Sigh.
-
Otz is one of the best killer players in the world, and watching him play Trapper is 99% not him playing Trapper. In most high level games, he's just playing an M1 killer with a lot of camping and slugging. You'll see traps used maybe once on a loop, or when he has people hooked in the basement (ala, game already basically won).
The problem isn't that Trapper's kit needed buffs - it's that Trapper needs to be reworked from the ground up.
@Xayrlen said:
Lol, complaining about not being able to slug is the most precious thing I've ever heard. You play scummy - get treated scummy.
Slugging isn't playing scummy, unless you are just camping. There are tons of times where slugging is essential - DS, sabo plays, spots in certain maps where there simply aren't hooks within realistic range, genrushes etc.
'Playing scummy' as killer really just seems to mean 'making the correct tactical decision to counter specific perks, map quirks and strategies'.
@Jasix said:
Meh - as killer I don't care what perks a survivor uses - nor do I care as survivor what perks a killer uses. A lot of perks - killer/survivor alike are "un-counterable" - but that doesn't cause me apprehension when playing either role. That would be like saying Tinkerer is counterable by simply never getting a gen to 70%. Bitter Murmur - don't finish gens! I realize the forums LOVE to pit one side against another with vitriol and hyperbole, but "un-counterable" perks are on each side.
Except that there are ways to counter almost every killer perk, mostly via teamwork and pattern recognition. The only ways to counter certain survivor perks are, well - see above. Slugging. And you'll have multiple QQ threads on the forums about it at any given time.

what's up with toolboxes. why does it do 2 powerful actions? fast gen repair and sabo hook?
same story... swf team using increased distance between sacrificial Hooks offering. I down one of them and they sabo the hook with the same toolbox that repairs gens pretty fast. I don't even know why the DEVs allow survivors to sabo the hooks, this should be removed unless they waste a perk slot for it.
Toolbox, singular?
No problem.
Toolbox, plural?
Can be a problem. Nobody likes to see gens popping less than 20 seconds into a match, and 3 gens popped before you even get your first proper chase.
And no, you don't get to say 'brand new parts are fine' while I get survivors DCing every time I bring a pink addon.

Id include frankins, but that sort of works only outside of a carry.
Pop doesn't really work when survivors can 0-100 a gen before you even get there. I had an amazingly frustrating game on Pig earlier where this happened - a bit of bad luck with spawns/patrolling, but there was literally nothing I could do to stop it.
I've seen sabo used effectively maybe once in the last 30 games. Sabo is only really an issue on specific maps where there can be literally only one hook within range of certain spots, and even then it's tough to reach.

This map sucks. Ridiculous amount of pallets and too close of each other. And don't tell me "yeah, but these are unsafe pallets". Some players are just camping the first pallet then camp the next one and so on. So I'm glad that it will be deleted.
I would rather have seen it reworked.
It's not even the pallets really, it's the incredibly safe 'single flight of stairs into a gen, plus multiple drops with an excellent vantage point' nature of half this map.
Still, I'd rather be here than Haddonfield any day of the week, unless I'm playing Nurse or Blight.

No.
All Cenobite needs is a reason to use his chains more. And his voice back.
The box mechanic is totally fine.

At a certain point, they can become abusive. When survivors can pop a gen in 17 seconds - it becomes a situation where you can lose 2-3 gens before you even get a chase.

I know a lot of people that play solo survivor and prefer to play solo...I think that's what's so good about it, you have the option to play with your friends, you also have the options to play either side in a solo capacity. Sometimes I want to play with friends and have a chat and a laugh, but other times I just want to be by myself and play, those times I don't want to only play killer.
I absolutely agree that SWF is fantastic, but it does create situations where coordinated groups of players smurf their way down the MMR ladder to stomp and abuse newcomers. I'm constantly running into this at my terrible MMR (full groups of TTV people, some with legacy/fancy skins and top tier perks either AFK/killing themselves on hook, or just rolling me over and teabagging all the way) and it's incredibly frustrating.
At the very least, MMR should be inflated slightly (say, a 1.1x multiplier for 2man, 1.3 for 3man and 1.6 for 4man) for these groups to offset the incredible power of shared information/communication, and something to flag/discourage deliberate manipulation of the MMR system.

@shitman said:
I play with the same attitude until I realize that I can't catch up with anyone. If my game is spoiled and my desire to play is discouraged, I will simply stand in the wall and will not play. I know it's not athletic and you have to play to the last, but in most cases it keeps me from stress.
I very, very seldom AFK (outside of IRL 'sudden phonecall' moments) but I'm not above doing it when I get Haddonfield six times in a row, or a sweaty SWF 3 toolbox .TTV smurfcomp.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Definitely the right mindset to have.
Just wish that you could do all that and also try to improve your own skills at reading Survivors without having to manipulate your K/D MMR by slowing down at the end (To prevent getting to the MMR ranks where Survivors are more interested in gen efficiency).
This, to my mind, is the major flaw of MMR. Since AFKing and deliberately smurfing your MMR down isn't against the rules, you frequently get matched up against people who only really want to bully new or less skilled killers - and that's the major thing that grinds my grapes at present.

I would bet that being the "enemy" or "bad guy" of the survivor team was the intention of the devs when creating this game. Probably didn't expect people to take "winning" and "losing" in a game like this so serious.
To be fair though, if they did further improve the balance of the game to make the game fairer for both sides, this way of looking at the game would probably improve further as well.
That was silly of them though. This is the internet, where people will be hyper-competitive over whether a dress is a certain color or not, and doing NES games slightly faster than anyone else is an incredible mark of achievement worth tens of thousands of dollars.
Of course people are going to be competitive. It takes a conscious effort not to be, particularly with how absolutely toxic survivors can be when they win.
If this was a horror movie, the killer would chase a teabagger out of the gates and keep right on going. But eh, what can you do? Just have to be Zen about it.

Suiciding on the hook is not a reportable offence at all.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
Does this mean that AFKing as a killer to lower MMR is also permitted?
If not, wouldn't that mean that survivors are permitted to smurf down their MMR, but killers are not?
-
@Marc_go_solo said:
That movie analogy you gave is one of the main reasons I enjoy killer, because if you see the trial as a mini- horror movie the whole game makes more sense and becomes way more fun.
Take the competitive out of the equation when playing and remember that whoever you are faxing is someone who sits on the toilet like everyone else, then any sense of bullying flies right out of the window. It's all a matter of perspective.
These are great tips and thank you for sharing! Maybe more will feel less apprehensious about playing killer after reading this.
I honestly find that this makes BM more annoying for me. It's like 'hey dude, we are both human beings, why be a jerk?'.

I don't know everyones opinion on genspeeds but for me playing killer I always see 1-3 gens go off after my first chase and it feels like the speeds especially with toolboxes and prove thyself are a little OP so here is my idea for them. 4 checkpoints when you repair a generator, you may repair it normally up to a checkpoint at which point you have to go find a generator part hidden on the map that the entity reveals to you once you hit that checkpoint. the survivor would then have to leave the gen to go and get that part in order to progress and repair the gen to the 2nd checkpoint. you can have teamates go and find the parts to bring to the generator to save time and toolboxes and brand new parts could be consumed to replace the part and repair it without having to find a part for the generator. gens can regress normally but they cannot regress past a checkpoint you have repaired with a part. Please dont be sarcastic, this is supposed to promote healthy discussion so if you dont have positive or useful feedback pls stuff it.
It's a...toughie.
While he feels a bit undertuned, Pinhead feels like a huge step in the right direction. He adds an additional objective, and potentially two if you run Plaything. Pig is similar (although also a touch undertuned).
I don't think genspeeds need a nerf, exactly. I'd rather see:
- More 'secondary objective' killers/perks that force survivors to have to do something else.
- The power of toolboxes reduced slightly.
- Some maps reworked to be less punishing for the killer, in terms of ground to cover/geometry to navigate.
- Something tweaked in terms of skill checks - making them a bit less powerful on a 'hit'.
Watching some of the best killers in the world, far too often they lose - not because they were outplayed - but because they were unlucky and lost 2-3 gens before they even had a chance to respond.

To me, a 'main' is a 'comfort killer'. The one you always go to when you've had a rough few games and need a good one.
I mostly go between Pig (love stealthy killers), Wraith (same reason) but mostly Hag. Going to start learning Pinhead soon, despite him feeling a touch weak - just pouring BP into him until I get BBQ.

Both of the most fun moments I've had were when in a KYF, but the general idea stays the same; in one, a friend of mine was running SM Myers, and specifically positioned herself so I'd run into her when rounding a corner to go down the stairs, resulting in my shrieking in surprise over the voice comms.
Play up the campiness and hamminess of your average horror movie and you're gonna have a whale of a time, it's by far the best way to play the game.
Haha, really trying to get the wife to give killer a try. She isn't a horror nut like me, but enjoys PvP games and has a similar prankster nature to me.

@jesterkind said:
Gotta second that mindset- being an immersed survivor is boring as hell, but being an immersed killer is another story entirely. It's a lot more fun when you approach it like a horror movie!
Some of the most fun I've had both as the killer and as the survivor has been with Scratched Mirror Myers for that exact reason, it's a ton of fun to lurk and jumpscare, or round a corner and come face to face with those cold, black eyes, the devil's eyes...
Yup!
The single funniest moment was me playing Pig. We were on that bloody elementary school map (always forget the name) with the long tunnel underground.
I spotted someone going down, crouched and followed. I ran into a conga line of survivors all making their way happily along, and joined the end of the line. It took them a good few seconds to spot me, and I wish I could have seen their reactions IRL.
Someone probably needed to do laundry after that one.

@Legionair said:
Why do survivors get so upset over this? yes it isnt fun to have it happen to you but a lot of killers honestly have 0 choice. it may not be fun but killers dont have fun getting "outplayed" by the cumulative 16 copout perks the survivors have and the 2-3 gens done in 2 minutes into the game. Killers are just adapting to the state the survivors put the game pace into so idk why they would cry about it after? its a completely viable strat just like using noed, you are just trying to get yourself back into the power role and that is the most efficient way to do so with how the game is right now.
I wont typically camp or tunnel unless:
- It's 3 or 4 gens in and I haven't managed to get a kill.
- You bring a key.
- You BM me.
- Your premade is obviously smurfing.
That said, it never ceases to amuse me how many survivors complain about this, while running full meta perks on a Blendette and using a Haddonfield offering. If you want to do everything to stack the deck in your favor, you don't get to complain when others do the same.

Nothing screams "Good enough" or "I couldnt care less" more like then a Totem that is pretending to be a signal from Gondor.
Autohaven and Swamp are just...terrible for totems. I've had them cleansed within the first minute of a game, because they spawned out in the open, right next to the closest gen to the survivor spawn.
Autohaven is quickly becoming as despised for me as Haddonfield. And that takes some doing.

Last match i was left to die by my team all they did was teabag the exit gate so here's the question why do people teabag mainly at the exit gate when i play killer if people made it to the exit gate i don't go near it because i'm not wanting to see them teabag. When i play survivor with a friend i wait for them to show up or leave but my team just teabags so what's the point of it. I only teabag to get my teammates attention so i could heal them if their injuried.
It's just a way of showing disrespect towards a killer. Sometimes it's also a way of trolling another survivor.
If I see someone teabagging, I'll tunnel them down - even at the expense of objectives. And if you do it at the exit gates...well, I have a long memory and if I see you again, I'm bringing my nastiest addons and a mori.
Petty, perhaps - but damn does it feel good.

Oh, this reminds me. Way back in the day, I used to play Starcraft 2 at a fairly decent level.
I was also pretty fat.
So I had a rule that, whenever I lost a game, I'd do a set of push-ups. It let me clear my head and shake off the loss, and after a few weeks I'd lost 4kg and people were commenting on how much fitter I was looking.

A little devious, but I enjoy it.
What weird things do you do/enjoy in DbD? Or am I the only one? 😛
As a killer, I'll usually try to give the last survivor the hatch. Occasionally, I'll let a duo escape after I've hooked both twice, particularly if they've played well.
It feels...right? The final girl always gets away, and sometimes she brings a friend :).

First off. late at night with Mmr being shite (i did warn people Mmr was terrible. BUT NOBODY BELIEVES ME STILL)
First, you went out of your way to teabag him after a rough game. Just...don't do that. It's a really disrespectful, unsportsmanlike thing to do. A bad winner is a hundred times worse than a bad loser.
I've had plenty of games where i never insulted the killer in any way possibility, Nor did the other teammate. (I.E ItzChungus) He is one of the nicest people i've met and judging just ONE clip kinda makes it a dick move, ngl... If you also went to the channel you'd see that i only play said assholey character on the stream as the bio said here:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/G9GABHS5J7TL/edddit-282-29-li.jpg
Note his perks, probably not an experienced Freddy (or potentially someone trying for an achievement - although watching the game, I think he's just a lot lower MMR than you chaps).
That's the issue... we've had games where people either was completely less skilled than us. or finally had a equal match. but lets be honest...Sbmm is still a joke and always has been,
I've said it on the stream multiple times that i never hated the guy nor do i have any ability to hate, i still respected the guy and had some sympathy for him, Despite the threats against me, hell i even tried to contact him afterwards trying to apologize.. wouldn't even bother talking to me,
You should have anticipated that he'd had a really rough time of it.
We all have rough games.. We either get chill games or sweat games galore.. there's no between. (and yes harder matches means getting better. slowly but surely) i still said later on that we were a dick to him Yes. but that's already behind us..
However, it didn't end there. After he responded, you began egging him on, saying that you were 'toxic' because he brought a black ward. Why would this justify you being toxic?
You never know when people bring black wards to save items, or to use it to save The Bs items. I.E One shot clown. one shot huntress. double recharge Nurse. Etc.. and killers have been using it more against me cause im a "Streamer" so that special treatment crap is annoyin' so to say..
Next time, get your win, get out, and save your gloating and needling for your audience. If you are going to go out of your way to rile people up, don't be surprised when they get riled up. And absolutely don't come to the forums to tattle about it.
There are waaaay worse people to post on the forums than me... And even then, the FIRST time i tried posting about it and i still get attacked despite me wanting to make amends with said killer,
Hah. Okay, watched the game. I'm actually way less sympathetic to you now. That was...difficult to listen to (let's get real here, this isn't 'SWF being SWF' - you guys are jerks, and clearly proud of it).
Yet you watched only One game of us... If you watched maybe just Alil bit of said games with us, and see that we're getting these killers and whatnot. truth be told.. Nicer than that, we've given killers kills / hook states before. but since we saw a black ward, We started trying due to that, (I'm not saying either side was right. both were wrong in the first place)
Now you can still hate me all you want, but my point stands. i still want to try and make amends with that killer Reguardless...
Idc if he was a killer main or a survivor main, Still human in the end.. and this game.. Not gunna lie.. it sparks bad anger in us all and makes us toxic one way or another...
Okay, I'm not sure how to break quotes up like that, so I'll go point by point, in a loosely descending order, as I'm not sure you're understanding me here. That said, you do seem somewhat willing to listen, so I'll take the time to respond properly.
- Your good behavior elsewhere does not excuse your terrible behavior in that game. There is no such thing as a 'jerk pass'. If I'd been asked to moderate this incident, you'd both be looking at a ban.
- 'I'm just doing a bit' isn't really an excuse either, especially when it splashes over into the game. He had no way of knowing this. All he saw was a likely smurf premade being BM as hell.
- The 'heel' persona thing is played out anyway, the days of FirebatHero, Destiny, HotshotGG and co. are mostly long gone. Now it's about being funny, engaging, informative, friendly - and above all, skilled and innovative. You are free to continue trying this route, but - from someone who's had modest success on YouTube (albeit in politics, not gaming) - there is a fine line between being amusingly puckish, and being a gigantic butt.
- If you don't want people yelling at you in postgame, keep it entirely on stream. Or better yet, manner up. Trust me, your audience will respect you all the more for it.
- (This is entirely besides the point) - MMR/SBMM is miles better than what we had before. I mostly get pretty even games, and the only games where I don't are either a 'there is basically nobody else playing at 3am on a Tuesday' or 'yeah, this is a .TTV premade that smurfed down their MMR' situation. That said, we aren't talking about MMR here. You noticed the difference in skill immediately, kept talking about how bad he was on stream, and then teabagged him when you beat him. That's the issue at hand. Your own behavior is what set him off.
- Is it behind us? That's the point of this discussion. You were a dick to him, and when he responded, you ran to the forums to name/shame him, as well as making a video to do the same. Tattling, basically, and tattling on someone that you basically goaded into reacting. That's exactly what a cry-bully is.
- Yes, he brought his best addons. Know why? Because he suddenly ran into an obvious premade, and was looking for any edge he could get. Trust me, as a killer - that's the only way to beat the TTV smurf stompcomps you run into from time to time. Personally, if I'm playing a killer I'm not confident on, damn straight I'm bringing my big guns. Either that, or I'm going to dodge you. Because - yeah. As you demonstrated here, SWF premades are usually poisonous as all hell.
- No. Don't do that. 'There are people worse than me' is textbook whataboutism. We aren't discussing their crappy behavior here. We are discussing your crappy behavior. Man up, take responsibility, learn from it.
- Again, nobody cares about your other games. If I brought your neighbors flowers on Tuesday and took a dump in your mailbox on Thursday, it's not going to smell any better.
- This is literally the first time you've mentioned 'making amends'. If that had been your intention, you wouldn't have come to the forums making a stink about him flipping out in post-game. You'd have made a very different thread. And probably a very different video - something along the lines of 'hey, to x killer, I was wrong, I apologize, let's make up'.
- That said, making amends is probably impossible now. You've sort of burned that bridge. All you can do is move forward and act better in the future.
- I don't hate you. I'm just pointing out that coming to the forums to essentially tattle on someone for exploding at you after you taunted them is pretty disgusting.
- You are in control of your actions. Nobody else is. Forget excuses, forget trying to weasel out of responsibility - clean your room.

No, that's a statement of fact, just like OP's claim is.
An opinion would be "orange juice tastes bad". It's a matter of personal preference. "The sky is green" is not an opinion, it's a statement of fact that can be easily verified to be wrong. Likewise, "this killer is bad" is not an opinion, it is a statement of fact.
Opinion. (noun). A view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.
You can have an opinion regarding things that are factual. For example, 'the Moon Landing was a hoax!' is an opinion; in this case, that 'facts' as we know it are incorrect. 'The sky is green' is also an opinion.
Yes, it can also be qualitative (as pertaining to the deliciousness of a certain juice) but that is not the extent of it's definition.

SBMM is miles...miles better than what we had before. I've seen both faster queues, and mostly well matched games (smurfing SWFs aside). It needs a few tweaks and a bit more nuance, but it's gigantic strides in the right direction.
Why don't you like it?
Why was the old system (for most of which killers had almost no matchmaking protection) better?

Half his kit (his chain summon) is niche to the point of uselessness. About the only purpose I've found for it is scouting. By the time I've connected, I've lost as much time as I've gained, and it can be tricky to land as is.
However, the entire 'box' mechanic is well done - and opens some interesting styles/perk combos.
His summons need to be more rewarding when you connect, and he'd be a good 'A' to 'B' tier, which is a fine place to be.

It’s just a new self care now and a crap version of lucky break that takes time to set up.
Meanwhile, killers get NOED with zero conditions unless all totems are cleansed, which is impossible to do in solo queue without throwing the game. Circle of healing didn’t ‘baby’ survivors like NOED does, which literally keeps killers from improving. Why bother when NOED does all the work for you? Why bother if you can camp someone to death with no counter?
Survivors have to deal with killers camping them almost every game, whilst all killers have to suffer is teabagging, and they still think that’s the most toxic part of the game lol. Not the actual bullshit side of killers, that could be fixed if BHVR actually spent a minute thinking about how to rebalance the game so that it’s not blatantly toxic towards solo survivors.
Useless...what?
Let's be honest here, they were brokenly OP, especially with stacking. Zero risk, could make teams almost immortal and they can *still* be resummoned endlessly.
Now, at least, they will require a bit of setup and foresight to be powerful. I'd guess that they are still going to be a touch strong.

I would say Blight since I first started out as a huntress main and was getting incredibly comfortable with her hatchets. I never thought blight was a bad killer but once I watched a streamer called AscensionWho play him I just learned so quickly how to use his power for hits. Also might I add back in the day that was one of the best versions of Blight in my opinion as he had incredibly consistent collisions and the oh so misunderstood j-flicks... (yes I did them as a fun alternative rather than bumping 1 more time to get a more guaranteed hit). Also still cant get the image of the short blight pov of him just crawling really fast on the ground while in rush.
I keep trying to learn Blight, but wow does he feel janky. I just can't figure out when I should be rushing, where and how.

As title suggests, who is a killer you thought, "no way I'd ever main them, they're so [complaint]" but after giving them a fair shot was like "now hang on a sec... this is kinda fun tho."
For me it was Pig, when I first started playing the game I HATED Pig, I'd constantly complain "how does anybody have fun playing her!?" and from being against her seemed super shallow and unfun. Shamelessly, I ended up buying her because 50 hour me thought she was a top tier killer and wanted to be a meta slave. And holy- I had so much fun playing her, and love her to this day, despite no longer maining her.
Hag.
Oh man, did I hate playing her. I grabbed her when I was new, as I really wanted Ruin. Was maining...Bubba, I think? Maybe I'd moved onto Freddy by then (old Freddy, how I miss you).
Loathed her from the second I tried her. Did not understand traps.
Ended up pouring BP into her to get Ruin, then decided to give her a go again.
Gradually got into her 'groove' and now she is hands down my favorite killer. Not only can she be strong without slugging and camping (although certain maps make me sad), but feels like she has a near infinite skill cap.
Most importantly though, my goal is to be able to actually give survivors a fright, and nothing says that like Hag.

Nemesis IMO. So many people are very conflicted on how strong he is, but a LOT of people put him in C tier or low B tier and i think thats straight up criminal. After maining him since release i've learned a LOT about him and i can firmly say he is thoroughly underrated. He has a lot going for him, and a lot more if you know how to min max every aspect of his kit. The most notable thing is knowing how to use zombies, and using perks that synergize with them. It still blows my mind how few people know that zombies will actively move towards gens that trigger perks like discordance and gearhead. You can get some absolutely nasty game delay simply by virtue of knowing how zombies function. I absolutely feel like he is not given enough credit in most circles because few people have taken the time to truly understand his kit. If i was one of those DBD tubers i'd probably post a tun of info vids on him to help people gain greater clarity on his wonderfully fun kit.
Nemesis feels a bit RNG.
If his zombies do work, and don't randomly stop moving, get stuck in scenery or the other ways zombies randomly fail - he can be a solid 'B' tier. PH level.
If they don't, he's sort of a weaker PH. He either needs a third zombie, or his tentacle needs to injure on the first hit.

Myers on the Lower half sure, but not near the bottom.
As for Hillbilly, janky yes I agree, but I've seen people put him in like, D tier or call him trash now and I'm just like wat.
I don't think there is any 'trash' tier killer, now that trapper has his buffs, but there are too many that rely on very specific perks and a lot of slugging/camping to handle coordinated SWF groups, even in the hands of the best killers in the world.
They may not need outright buffs, but they certainly need a rework.

Please update this thread when you get an update, genuinely curious how this will shake out.

I will tell you ALL as a killer main how to find the hatch 100% of the time with out a map. With out "Left Behind" so once it occurs I will tell you my dirty killer secret to make my matches harder and more fun with out actually having to bust my butt considering I won't be worried about a whole group no more so for that sole survivor, I maybe your ally in this game for one brief moment. 😈
Shrug. I usually give the last survivor hatch as is, unless they've been a jerk. The final girl usually gets away in the end, anyway :).

Hi everyone, I need your help, I've tried my best but I seem to be completely ignored:
I have 1300+Hrs in the game and recently my account was reset and I lost everything (except skins, aurics and iridescent), I contacted support and they give me 140 million bloodpoints as compensation, but my devotion was wrong (it was 4 and was 0), I opened another ticket and after 2 weeks they answered me

The Dead by Daylight Team"
Yes, my save has been edited, you have changed it to give me back my blood points and my account was reset!!!
I never used hack on my steam! and I didn't change any save data!!!, I was banned without any evidence! when i ask about them they answer me
"We've checked the details, and you were banned for using third party software, or exploiting errors in our system which violates the game's EULA. The name and nature of this software/exploit will not be shared with you, nor will the ban be lifted."
I asked them to check my computer but I didn't get any answer, I opened other tickets asking about and I'm ignored after one or two answers.
I tried to buy the game on another account but it looks like I got banned by ip!!, I need to get my account back, I'm totally innocent in all this! and I can prove anything.
-If anyone can help me solve this problem I would be very grateful.

Here's a bumpo to hopefully get some eyes on this.
It sounds like one support agent didn't tell another support agent what he/she did.

Same here.
Additionally for me Hillbilly, people are overexaggerating how big his changes hit him imo.
Myers is like Doctor. He's low tier for sure, and heavily reliant on specific perks, but he can shine in the right circumstances.
Hillbilly isn't exactly weak - he's just super, super janky to play. Even moreso than Oni, pre-rework Bubba and Blight.

Lol what? Hag and Nurse don't require openings. Both are designed to force openings with proper play.
Hag is very map dependent, and multiple flashlights negate her heavily. If you can figure out her 'zone' and avoid it, she has a very tough time. Just don't give her a 3 or 4 gen and be prepared to bumrush her if she starts camping.
Nurse is vulnerable to coordination, well timed 180s and is even more map dependent than Hag in her way (so, so many maps have weird geometry glitches that totally block her teleport, and high tier players are abusing this more and more). She is good at getting downs against tight packs of survivors, or a single survivor in the open. Splitting and rotating works wonders. Otz's '50 win streak' on Nurse is a good example - he had an easier time on Bubba and Doctor.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of it being Asymmetrical? I am sure most people go into Dead by Daylight because it looks fun, not because they want a sweaty competitive game where Survivors are on par and able to 1v1 Killer.
So can we stop looking for Balance and just make the Killer the power role again. Where if the Killer does their job perfectly they always 4k, and it's the Survivors who need to stress out the most to win.
I don't think the two are mutually exclusive, actually.
I'd love to see a bit of help for killers at higher MMR (specifically by adjusting the MMR of SWF groups significantly upwards - queue times be damned), as at present, not only are you forced to bring a handful of specific perks, but on the majority of killers, you will need to camp and slug your evil little heart out to avoid getting looped forever while gens pop in the distance.
However, I also don't want to see a situation where killers are balanced around facing high tier SWFs completely, as that would make solo que, especially at lower MMR, an absolute nightmare for survivors.

I feel like Monitor And Abuse is good on every Killer besides the most dedicated of stealthy ones.
Messing with when a Survivor should start running is more powerful than most would realize imo
I absolutely love MAA, but I really struggle to find a place for it. The only killer I really use it on is Pig, and that's when I'm in the mood for a silly game.

@Jarol said:
How could I make it even stronger?
Give her an M1 killer movement speed.
That said 'even stronger' doesn't really factor into it. While it's easy to rate her as 'S tier' due to her potential, even the best killers in the world routinely struggle as Nurse.

https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1167931189 As i do mention i stream... in a very past post.
Don't mind the coms, just my swf being...swf,
Edit: By that. i mean we just wanna loop and Not do gens, that's how we are.
Hah. Okay, watched the game. I'm actually way less sympathetic to you now. That was...difficult to listen to (let's get real here, this isn't 'SWF being SWF' - you guys are jerks, and clearly proud of it).
First, you went out of your way to teabag him after a rough game. Just...don't do that. It's a really disrespectful, unsportsmanlike thing to do. A bad winner is a hundred times worse than a bad loser.
He was evidently frustrated in post-game. I'd have been frustrated too, he was clearly outclassed and you guys obviously knew that.
Note his perks, probably not an experienced Freddy (or potentially someone trying for an achievement - although watching the game, I think he's just a lot lower MMR than you chaps). I personally run into this all the time at my mediocre MMR - full TTV premades who are clearly slumming it for easy wins on stream, usually by bringing someone who has smurfed their MMR down substantially to lower the average.
Now, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here, and assume that this was just the MMR system crapping out and putting you up against someone that you shouldn't have been (or someone trying to do a very difficult achievement, quite possibly both), not you guys deliberately smurfing. Still though, you clearly picked up on the skill difference during the game (you were constantly talking about how bad he was).
You should have anticipated that he'd had a really rough time of it.
That's absolutely not the time to teabag. Why would you go out of your way to insult/gloat at someone clearly worse than you, running crap perks, that you just stomped?
However, it didn't end there. After he responded, you began egging him on, saying that you were 'toxic' because he brought a black ward. Why would this justify you being toxic?
He absolutely shouldn't have reacted that way - but you made the situation infinitely worse.
Next time, get your win, get out, and save your gloating and needling for your audience. If you are going to go out of your way to rile people up, don't be surprised when they get riled up. And absolutely don't come to the forums to tattle about it.
Nobody likes a cry-bully.

Pop and Corrupt together
I'd say Pop+Devour Hope+Corrupt+Discordance
By the time they start looking for DH, you'll probably have 3 stacks, and it will at least buy you time (and probably a few hooks).
Playing versus a sweat squad through, what's really going to define your pressure isn't so much your perks.
It's going to be your choice of killer, your playstyle and your decision making/skill.
If you aren't playing someone with a lot of map presence, you are going to *have to* slug and camp. You will also need to be good about when to chase, when to slug, when to hook and when to peel off and pressure gens.

Probably Plague. No one plays her and she is very strong, and she will be made stronger with the buffs she is getting.
Plague is definitely...consistent. I wouldn't call her strong.
If you are good, you will have good games as Plague. She isn't really able to carry you.
@ThatOneDemoPlayer said:
I'd say it's either Plague or Demogorgon. They both have an amazing 1v4 which is slept on so hard.
Demo is wonderful, but (like Nurse or Hag) does require your opponents to give you openings.

But what if they insulted me beforehand...
Even if you weren't toxic. tbagging in a match, or ANY of the sorts, they'd still get on your ass about something,
I even tried to offer help to the guy. yet still goes on about me being buried 6 feet into the ground. which would make him happy Fyi...
Despite the little tbag... that barely did anything,
(Oh and For The Record. i tried typing that to a survivor team as killer when i did a 5 gen lockdown as clown.. Yeah never again)
What if...no. There is no 'what if' here.
You were the one that initiated trouble here.
Yes, people can be jerks, but they are irrelevant to the current discussion.
In this discussion, someone had a really rough game and, rather than commiserating with them, you decided to rub it in.
You got that VOD by the way? I'm...skeptical that you weren't the initiator in post-game too.

He kept trying to wait out endgame with both black box / Bw.
that and he failed to even try to get the endgame kill to work, tis why.
i usually don't tbag. but when you have a blackward with 2 ultra rares. + Bw AND tried to get endgame kills and fail. then a tbag is needed,
otherwise. i just leave,
Okay.
Why exactly was a teabag needed here?
He went out of his way to win, but either got really unlucky or matched up against a group much better than him, who smashed him into the dirt.
So again - why not just leave, and type something like 'ouch, bad luck man' in the post-game? That would have defused the situation. What you did made it so much worse.
