Yup, this tournament is kinda what we already told before: in a competitive mood, survivors have the upper hand, and only Nurse has a great base kit (especially since she can counter pallet looping, which is the most efficient survivor's strategy right now, and that you can achieve it with no perk). Hag's base kit will be excellent after update but a lot of killers will still stay in an awful position without addons or perks. It's getting really boring to see (mostly) only Nurse when it's about being competitive...

I only watched the very last match and it was Nurse vs 4x P3 Claudette's, I was not surprised in the slightest.
Were any killers besides Nurse/Billy used in the tournament at all? There was one Trapper, The Entity's Left Hand. The weapon he uses is a reference to one of his catch sentances ("Pay Attention"). He got recked pretty hard, because you know, naked Trapper.
I don't know about others.

The biggest issue with hag is that people can destroy all her traps by just running around, so if the Hag is chasing one survivor, his friends can destroy all her traps extremely easily. and there's no counterplay to thisThis is not an issue with a Tinkerer build, and the buff would make her base trapping speed even better than the Tinkerer build.
Besides, it's an urban legend that you can destroy "all Hag trap while she is chasing one survivor". For several reasons:
- Your chases shouldn't be too long with the Hag. She has a really, really high chase potential.
- If your chase is long, it's mostly because you chase a survivor with no trap around, and it is a mistake. Drop the chase, hide yourself like an immersed Claudette, relocate your web, then chase again.
- You should be able to punish someone who tries to destroy your traps at one point, unless you trapped in a corner or the map is really, really huge. In this case, try to trap more in the center, so that you can teleport from all borders on the map.
- If someone manages to destroy all your traps, they are too close to each other, and too predictable as well.
If you have too much troubles with that, try to expand more your web, and make it around a tactical spot (main building, for example, or huge juking spot). If you know for a fact survivors are in X area (because you hear a gen, see scratchmarks), stay hidden and trap before you engage a chase.
I'm not saying it's easy, though. But it's part of her learning curve ^.^

The changes to DS and self-care is #########. Get new ideas and stop focusing on only rank 20 killers and start focusing on good killer and good survivors. TBH fix the ranking system its useless if you are a rank 10 you play with rank 20 most likely and all the good survivors will stay at rank 20 and bully new killers cuz they DONT PIP@Jaykaytee said:

Also, good survivors do pip. Because they never get downed, manage to help their team (saves) and to do gens, they should always pip.

Do you think you accomplished sth now?

Rank is completely meaningless if it can be reached as easily as it is currently the case. (btw, in my first month playing survivor I reached rank 1, that tells a lot eh?)Are you going to be "that guy" in every thread?
The guy above just said I was probably "bad" because I'm a stealthy survivor. I just said it is possible to be a rank 1 survivor with this gameplay.Come on.

To add to this: it was already a standoff since the Claudette, instead of running away, stayed there and teabagged, knowing she could get the hatch if the killer hits her!

Fair and square doesn't exist in a tournament that changes rules mid-game.
The rules didn't change.
The only thing that changed is that your favourite team lost.
Get over it.
You're always talking about "fanbase" and stuff, while you're on every thread about the Depip Squad to talk /// about them, lol.
You're the only one who has an obsessional issue there.

A nerf to a "second chance" perk and a rework to make sure you don't self-heal under 3m of the killer...

Numbers are from dev stream. But it should have a mistake, total trap time is supposed to be 3.9 seconds - I measured it several times.
Either way it's an excellent buff. Fastest combo available right now (green + yellow necklets + Tinkerer) is about 3 seconds. 2 seconds, and by default? That's just crazy. I won't need Ruin anymore!
-
Hag is brutal.
Huntress is... cold. A cold-blooded murder. That's scary! -
That's why you shouldn't give Hag a 115% movement speed ~
The Hag Cube will give survivors more tools to counter ultra camping Hag players. As for now, consider them like Insidious Leatherface and just do gens. They won't have traps on the map (so, easy to escape from them) and are probably too bad anyways to know how to properly trap during chases!
-

They all died here

-
As much as I don't like to punish lobby dodging, DC shouldn't be allowed that easily. You screw up your teammates as a survivor, as a killer you waste survivors' offerings, time and bloodpoints. If it's the fault of your internet, well, too bad, but you shouldn't play either way.
A 15 minutes cooldown would be fair enough ^.^

Lets face it, faster animations are a nice-to-have, but its not gonna change a lot^^
The concept of traps is simply flawed in a solo-game where SWF can communicate via voice commsIt's downed to 2 from 5. Which is more than half. That alone should bump up her map pressure to engage survivors more, especially with the range buff.
I don't really understand whey they came from with this "5 seconds" (I measured it several times: full animation should be 3.9 seconds), but either way - it's a huge, huge buff. People don't realize. It's faster than the actual fastest combo! Which means that by default you will be able to react as the game goes on without worry. Someone goes to a pallet? Here, I don't even care if you want to pallet loop, I'll just block this one ~

not_Queen confirmed it on several networks, including her own personal discord ^.^
The plan is to make killers less "addons depending". Like they did with Brutal Strengh: buff base kit, nerf the perk. -
@KylesKeyes said:
why do you slow down killers ? ok for the nurse but... the huntress ? the hag ? the hag is quite close to the trapper why does the hag have a slower movement speed ?The Hag is actually closer to the Nurse. The reason why she has enhanced stats (110% speed, 24m terror radius) is that unlike the Nurse, she has to build her power, so they made her less weak to the stealth.
Hag needs to have a slower speed, because she is supposed to be a skilled killer that rewards people who take time to learn her. You can give 115% speed to Nurse as well. Noob Nurse will just end up playing like the Wraith, and powerful Nurse will be undestroyable. It's the same for the Hag, regardless of what you think.
But actually, Huntress deserves 115% speed. Her power doesn't counter pallet looping at all, regardless of what a lot of people think around here. She "punishes" some pallet drops and window vaults but you can loop her for the whole game if you don't respect her power. Besides, she is UL-TRA weak to stealth (45m directional lullaby, really?). Her power really doesn't justify all these drawbacks. She was powerful on release because she was the first ranged killer and everyone was afraid about that. The meta changed. Huntress suffers now.
-
I don't find it "boring", it's the complete opposite. It's exciting to be one feet away and yet manage to not be seen!

Only Quality of Life I see: fix her bug when she breaks a pallet (she used to be able to see the survivor, now she looks down) + remove her cooldown upon a teleport where you can't move.A huge quality of life / buff would be to allow her to teleport even when she is in "weapon swipe cooldown".
That's not really a bug, pallets are meant, but not exclusively used for, to lose the killer and break a chase. Like small line of sight breakers. Before this was impossible since the Hag could still see you, so they probably changed it to this.
What I would like to see, I dunnu if others would agree on this, would be for her traps to not activate while I am carrying someone. It's a real bummer when your work gets destroyed by someone communicating to someone else that you can ruin all of my traps and I am unable to do anything about it. I dunnu, what do you guys think?
Don't quote me on this but I believe this was confirmed as a bug... This feature was maybe implemented to make out for her terrible field of view where you can't even see above some loops.
About the second one, I don't know. Might be too strong. Either way they can't destroy "all of your traps" unless they're too close to each other. I used to have issue with this one, so I took Agitation in my build to help me until I was confident enough with my placement. But I won't say "no" to this buff. Any buff is welcome!

My tip: Either change to nurse or derank such that you can play trashtier killers without geting a heartattack
It's not a tip at all. If you can't play one killer, just don't say things like "play another killer". Especially since a lot of us gave actual tips before.

However, if we'd like to be serious, it's better to remove as much RNG as possible from the game, and I'd like to see removal of attempting rather than adding the lever. These mechanics don't bother me in a "Survivors vs AI" scenario, however, it's a "Survivors vs Killer" game. We're all used to them, but in all logic: these shouldn't exist in the first place. I completely failed this game (and many others) within 4 minutes, and there wasn't that much things I was able to do to invert the outcome. When you're survivor, there's always a tiny chance (with several mechanics) to win even if you're in the failing side.
I honestly don't know what to do. I like the idea of the hatch (even though I would like to be opened only if you bring a key, to balance items between themselves), but in the other hand, I can't help but think about the broken logic of this.

I see Sprint Burst and Self Care ALL THE TIME. All the time. They are great perks, but we need other perks that no one uses to be buffed to give people the thought of changing up their style.?Survivor meta is not there because they are the only strong perks. They have a ton of other perks to choose from. We'll Make It, Quick & Quiet, Lithe, Bond, Urban Evasion, Iron Will... among many, many others. The actual meta is just the most straight forward. One perk to heal yourself. One perk to run fast. One perk to have a second chance. Last perk of your choice.
-
Facecamp doesn't work anymore, though.
-
It's kinda not working towards your objective, but on the other hand, the killer doesn't hold the game hostage either, you can still escape.
It should be bannable, but I don't believe it can be bannable according to the current game "laws".
-
I tried an experiment the other night. Accept every 3-SwF / 4-SwF I get.
Result?
Survivors keep holding the game hostage after doors are powered. Or spamming a window just to BM.
I mean, it's not your fault. But please consider why some of us keep dodging SwF. Besides, it is an unbalanced game mode and the killer basically plays with a huge disadvantage. Half of the perks I run are countered by voice com. My strategies can also be defeated by voice com and coordinated team.
-
By the way... How do you define the camp? I mean it's hard to tell sometimes. Killer might have seen scratchmarks, or hear footsteps / clic clic clic of a flashlight on the way to the hook. You might be in a way for a generator so they are passing by.
Please explain clearly how would you define (in the game code) when a killer is "camping".
-
Borrowed Time and Kindred already counter the camp. Not that I especially like to camp but you know, killers don't have a much of strategies available. Slug is punished by Emblems and doesn't work against SwF. Take the bait? Here, enjoy the Adrenaline / DS and 0 kill. Sometimes, camping is the best strategy available and killers have the right to exploit it.
You wanna punish it? Do all the gens and escape. It's easy since hook timer has been increased (to counter the camp) and gen repair time is still super low.
-
The game is unbalanced, at one point there is nothing you can do if survivors really want to win, as proved with the Marth88's experiment. Gens being done under 3 minutes is a reality if they are dedicated to that.
-

1. Leatherface
2. Hag
3. Hillbilly
But you can't really blame the killer. The devs gave LF this chainsaw that can hit multiple survivors and Hag the traps that slow you down because you have to crouch. They just do what their power is made for. Playing in defense
Their powers aren't "made for" defensive play. Hag especially is very bad at camping - the ones who draw 10 traps around the hook could as well play Leatherface and sit next to the hook if they really wanna prevent a rescue. Same result but enhanced stats. If she's not hardcamping you can just crouch for 5 seconds and you're good to go.

Ohhh it's the one by Adeloo! She's amazing! ♥

Thanks @not_Queen . That's why the stream misses you. Mathieu is a producer, Dave is on the creative side and as you said, Janick is new. Sometimes it's just better a "We don't know, we'll ask the one who's in charge" instead of some random assumptions (and also I'm pretty sure you ask a lot of questions before a patch is live so you would have better chance to answer it). I don't agree on this balance decision for several reasons, but at least, we can debate about true facts now!

Leatherface (obvious reasons), Huntress, Pig (NOED + RBT + built-in Insidious, gg to make it out)
-
A good Huntress, for mindgame plays!
-
A rework idea I read a while ago:
Monstruous Shrine skips one hook state, BUT the current hook state is two times longer.
In other words: first hook will be 2 times longer, but the hook directly after will be a sacrifice.
This perk will be powerful, yet situational (because of the basement) + no need to specifically camp since hook timer is two timers longer.
-
I guess it's like every time a new chapter gets released: a ton of people wanna try the new killer, hence not enough survivors.
