Lol not wrong. Fun fact: there is a Feng cosmetic named "ggez". It's the top in her "blonde hair" outfit.

Later. They did release a Dwight exclusive for who bought Leatherface DLC, though. So we are still waiting for every other killer and survivor skins? Also if they want to release "exclusives" like that Dwight head, then... meh.. It should be full sets of skins, not just one head.
I don't think they'll do a cosmetic for every single character... In other words: Dwight's head might THE only exclusive you get from Leatherface DLC. At least that's my bet, it would take too much time otherwise.

Don't dream too much.
It's the syndrom of "why not, maybe one day..." but this day never happens. It's like when you say: "hey, maybe I'll fly on the moon!'. It's just a way of talking. They are not actually thinking about this seriously. -
Huge camp / tunnel usually happens at low ranks against new killers that feel insecure about their skills.
OP: what is your rank? -
2 tokens will be a fair trade. 3 tokens might be too much, since Devour Hope is really strong for snowballing. Its most important issue is being destroyed at the beginning like every damn totem lol.

I read a lot on this forum that the Hag is supposed to be great, however here is how the average Hag game appears to be in reality:-Meg triggers trap
-Waits for any sort of movement to dodge with sprint burst
-Gets looped for 2 hours
-Finally triggers a trap at a pallet or vault to down her
-Gets decisive striked
-Gets looped for 2 more hours
-Downs her and picks her up
-Laurie, Jake or Dweard intentionally trigger all your [BAD WORD] traps while you are carrying her, the sounds of which will clog up your ######### your own eardrums.
-Realise that all of them run with the holy trinity of perks
-Try to downplay your thoughts of suicideDoes anyone have any tips? Because apparently there seems to be an entire cult praising her.
The things you're talking about are common issues when you start playing the Hag.
If teammates are triggering all your traps... It's probably because of bad traps placement. Survivors don't have time to run all around the map. Your traps are either too close to each other, located in one area, or very obvious (near gens, totems...). Pro tip: don't put more than one trap at a totem / hook. The default trigger radius of a trap is pretty huge, so if you place it not too close to the objective you wanna protect, it will cover a big area alone. It's pointless to trap generators unless you're in a 3-gens strategy.
Decisive Strike should not be an issue if your predict skills are great, aka: if you managed to trap well your map before. DS user should run into one of your previous trap because you managed to predict escape routes. I made several DS users ragequit because of instadown after the recovery lol.
About the pallet loop: if you're already in a chase, there are several options available.
- You pull them away from the loop
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6wSAmlyvK4- You mindgame by not teleporting (works 90% of the time, even at high ranks)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoeCVsck2HE- You loop around and teleport right as they're about to reach the pallet (you need to know the correct duration of your phantasm though)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03yZvJQrJ4k- You can also bodyblock the pallet easily with the update 2.0.0.
Like Runiver said, you shouldn't be looped when you play the Hag, unless you have already a huge advantage and prefer to keep line of sight on the last survivor alive, for example. Except Nurse, she is the less loopable killer. You can punish every map unbalance.
SpaceCoconut will release SoonTM a video with basic explanation of how to play Hag, with clips Michi, Croquedead and I provided. Hopefully that will help you ^.^

This. If you have issues to play against a killer, play this specific killer to understand their mechanics and limits. OP doesn't have any excuse anymore since you can now unlock DLC killers with playtime (and who didn't buy this DLC for cute Feng anyways?)

People still can't accept that camping is still a thing and literally intended by the Devs? It's really not a big deal in the slightest. Its not intended.
They talk it good, because they cant balance the game properly, because of the survivor tears.Camping is intended.
You have to give the killer a reason to leave the hook, not expect him to go on a fool's errand and hope he doesn't come back in time. Someone getting caught is now a bait for other players, and a bait, in several scenarios, do have pretty low survival chances. If you have a problem with that, you have 2 solutions :
Do not save against campers.
Do not get caught. And yes, at times, you'll get caught and camped. ######### happens.

Ultra tunnel vision. Nothing more boring than being tunneled for 3 hooks while there are teammates running between me and the killer or doing gens in the open right next to me. Same when it happens to teammates as well, I don't enjoy M1 simulator.
-
- Holding the game hostage (not leaving the game when both doors are powered and I'm far away, chilling)
- Abusing every map unbalance if you don't punish them for that (infinites, pallet loop) - being boring to play against, in other words
-
It's not especially about rewarding their patch, I just felt in love with a lot of the cosmetics. If I'm brave enough, I'll grind the new killer, by the time I unlock him I will have enough bloodpoints to get him to level 40 for his teachables.

My issue with this idea of making SC a "free medkit" is that we already have a perk that does that: Pharmacy.

Yeah I was always wondering if the "discounted price" part was only about the exclusive skin.
If we are willing to spend the money and support the Devs by buying the DLC instead of unlocking it, what's the point of offering an exclusive skin at a "discounted price" when we might not even want to buy auric cells packs? Feels more like an illusion of a good deal, unless you are one to waste your money on that overpriced stuff. For buying the DLC they should give you a skin just for free, even if it's just a single cosmetic item worth 350-400 auric cells. Discounted price, phe, what a joke.It is badly worded, I pretty sure the sentance means: buy a pack of "killer + survivor" for a discounted price (7$ like current DLCs, for example), and as a bonus, you alsp get an exclusive cosmetic (like the Dwight's one for Leatherface DLC).

No thnx. Battle royale would be unbalanced af. Imagine all killers running ruin, NOED, Overcharge, and Blood warden. That is the definition of pure cancer. Plus can you live with all the survivors running DS???Can be an alternative: only one survivor can survive the trial, a larger amount of gens to repair, every x minutes one area around an unfinished gen will give away survivors position (wallhack aura), forcing them to do gens in order to not be revealed.
-
Thinking about the horse on the new map, I would like new interactions with the wildlife in DbD. I remember something about a pig that was running. If they add more animals, that hinder survivors (crows give away location, horse says if someone is nearby, pig can hurt survivors while running...), Calm Spirit would have a natural buff by being to able all these animals ^.^
-
It's fun, I just don't see how that would buff her though. Sounds like a more of trouble for very poor results...
Might be good for a new game mode, though. Something around hide and seek against Hag, you need to survive a timer and you can't run so you have to use lockers once in a while.

I mean like they gave me every reason to camp.OMG, I experienced the exact same thing! I just turned my camera after hooking the first survivor just to see two teammates, they were not even hiding.

What about: free addons for the killer according to how many SwF are in the lobby (like in KyF).
For example, if you face a 4-SwF or 2 * 2-SwF, you can use purple addons without losing them. This will be a first step to balance them, and in the meantime killer is not afraid to test new expensive addons. We can also prevent SwF to use any item.
-
This is amazing!

-
It's a good idea. Killers still have plenty of hooks to choose from (or they can just drop the survivor and pressure the team), so it's not close to be DS, yet be more powerful. However, Saboteur needs to go back to "stop" gens from being the only objective, and your idea doesn't take that fact into account. But it's still a buff I would like to see in the game meanwhile.
-
If we're not considering being looped,
Pig > Hag (my main) > Freddy > Myers
-
I would like it to have a fixed terror radius increase (like M&A) so every killer can profit of the perk equally. Or even better: make the perk so that if you equip it you have 40m terror radius regardless of your base terror radius. Will help to build a pressure!
@davidps4DBD said:
I heard it's good for hillbilly (reaching deviousness quota). I really like it on the hag though. How do you use it on Hag? I'm thinking about bringing it along with Coulrophobia, but I don't know, 30m terror radius isn't that much either... Or you mean for the deviousness bonus?

DLC killers are less played. Obviously the licensed ones are more popular - so it lets us with two killers, Doctor and Hag. The second one being really hard to learn and to master, yeah. That's why.
"Still better results than hag has."
Well, of course. So far I've seen like 2-3 Hag in their experiments, and they were ALL trash. While most of their games they face Nurse.
"Ah, right. Players that consistently get results with a variety of killers and play everyday aren't good enough. k"
You aren't good enough with Hag. That's a fact. Nothing wrong with that, I'm bad with several killers as well. Don't feel entitled because you're good with Hillbilly, Hag has a unique playstyle. There are a ton of great killer mains streamers, yet so far I've only seen ONE who is good with her (Diatech). Every others are trash with her, even if they are great at other killers.
I never claimed to be an amazing hag player. I'm just tired of hipster hags running around the boards pretending that she's some god tier killer up there with billy or nurse. All the while there's basically jack ######### as far as actual evidence of that.
I've seen hags win against rank 1 teams. I've seen freddy win against rank 1s. Do you think freddy is ok? is he balanced because people play him at rank 1?
Anyone can post vids of them winning against rank ones.
I don't see too many vids breaking down the WHY or HOW.
WHY was a hag win a result of her power or playstyle and not the survivors screwing around or messing up.
WHY does this trap placement work or not work, what makes it consistently perform that way, block that window, close that pallet loop. Why or why not was it not the result of a survivor mistake
These questions are pretty self evident when you watch a billy or a nurse play. Not so much a hag.
Sure I've seen hags TP and hit a survivor near a pallet loop. I've also seen a hag TP and the survivor be out of her limp TP lunge range before it finishes.
Honestly if we had more videos like that instead of stupid memes the DBD community would be a better place.
Okay, this time you're talking with some sense.
True, any killer can perform well in high ranks. Any of them. But at one point, some of them are being countered by the most easy tactics to achieve - semi-infinites and pallet looping. I don't think a killer should be reviewed on this fact alone (otherwise Hag would be #1 with Nurse, which she is not), however, it's the most effective strategy at high ranks since a casual killer can't counter it by skills. It's the reason why some killers like Wraith are considered bottom tier - because they can't do anything about that, except giving up the chase.
Hag has not this issue. She can punish every pallet loop / infinite, prevent pallets and windows, have an insane pressure on the map (thanks to her traps, she can chase back and forth) and is also a better ambush killer than Myers.
SpaceCoconut is currently making some kind of "tutorial" video about the Hag. Croquedead, Michi, me, and Spectrobyss, among others, sent him snippets of our gameplays to show the different tactics available. There will be commentary about what these traps do, and how to use them effectively. Hopefully, that will help a lot of people to get the basics. Everything else comes with experience and knowledge of survivors behaviours, that's why she takes months to learn. Prediction doesn't come with one lesson unfortunately, only with practice. I still consider that I have a lot to learn
If the survivor was out of the lunge, it's either that the Hag was too greedy for an insta hit (you need to build up your speed before, for ~1 second at least) or the trap wasn't perfect and the survivor wasn't pulled away enough from whatever you want to counter.
Survivors mistakes are either at mindgames (but sometimes their time window to react is pretty short...) or because they are too greedy to use Fractured Cowshed infinite, for example. During chases, a well-prepared Hag has less counters than Nurse (but unlike Nurse, she suffers a lot from genrushing, so you have to not make mistake either on your side).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6wSAmlyvK4Take this as a first example. Perfect trap spot that has no counter during a chase. Mira Bear tries here to loop like her whole team did the entire game, but this trap pulls her away from the loop, enough for me to catch up and gets a free hit. Only way to counter these kind of traps is to trigger them outside of her teleport distance or pray she is too slow to react.

You obviously don't play Hag enough to understand her nuances, and even if we provided proof (which you haven't said what kind of proof you wanted) I doubt you'd even entertain it since you're just an uninformed individual talking about something he doesn't know well enough about.
Your ignorance is forgiven.
Show me hag winning a dead by daylight tournament or hell even video a few rounds going against a team like marths depip squad. Oh right, she hasn't even appeared in any of the DBD tournaments that have been hosted. And if she were she would be stomped right out of them.
Keep being delusional guys.
Besides, you show ONE Nurse game against Depip Squad while countless loses against them. She was probably very "lucky" this time

Every time I see a tournament, there are always strange rules ; the last one I saw, you cannot even choose the killer and your perks. Heh. And may I recall you she is the least played killer? Of course you have little chance to see her.

I do play Hag at rank 1 about everyday, and I do face 3k hours legacy players that I consider to be "decent" at the game (if not pros).
Her teleport isn't too slow to counter loops.
Her teleport heavily counter windows. You're just bad with her, sorry.
More words and no actual examples. Neat.
Every time I show examples to people, they are like "they were bad survivors". Even when we're talking about high rank survivors. Even when we're talking about 5000+ hours survivors. And I know for a fact you will say that as well - you already said before: "keep being delusional guys" WHILE YOU'RE TALKING TO HIGH RANK HAGS. Bruh. Just stop with that, it's embarassing. Whatever we'll show to you, you'll claim it was pure luck, or bad plays from survivors. Spoiler: survivors that lose against Nurse are probably bad as well, since Nurse is hard countered by stealth. Can't win a chase if you don't find anyone to start with.
So no, you'll have to find examples by yourself, and nope, TydeTime / Tru3Ta1ent aren't references. Don't want to show gameplay if it's for you to trash talk like any generic guy does when they have no argument and no experience either.
You could have asked us to review your gameplay, to help you to improve. But you just don't wanna admit you're not so good and instead trash talk about people that are in fact better than you with this character.

Oh, I consider the Nurse to be stronger than Hag for sure.
I just say she's strong, and top tier too. You wanted reasons, I give you reasons. Tho feel free to keep being offensive for no reasons whatsoever I guess
ShrugsYour reasons are laughable. shrugs
Try playing a hag against any remotely decent teams and see how top tier she is. Her teleport speed is too slow to counter pallet loops. she barely counters vaults, and on multiple occasions playing her I've had survs be out of sight by the time I've teleported. She's trash tier. Not to mention that if the survs have any idea of where you put your traps you can lose minutes of setup while they trigger them if you pick someone up.
I do that all the time though. But I guess any team that loses against a Hag will be considered as "trash" by your standards regardless of how they performed, so there's no point to discuss with you. Every good Hag main here is able to play at high ranks without much more issues than a Nurse main.

There were several stats they show during stream about how well perform the killer. You will need to do a lot of search through reddit's summaries, though...
There were different stats:
Overall kill rate according to rank. Hillbilly was the most efficient at rank 1.
4k / 3k / 2k / 1k at rank 1. Hag was both the killer with the most 4k and the most 0k. Basically: hit or miss.
Escape chance against each killer. That was pretty much the same for every killer so I don't know how it is related with the previous stats, like, I don't see how all these stats don't contradict themselves. But it's also coming from people who claimed Self Care was barely used while it had a 80% rate of use so...

I agree with the main point and that's why I'm completely against giving tier lists to newbie : it's better to be a great Trapper than a decent Nurse. We all eventually have a main (because the playstyle / mechanics fit us) and I try to convince people to stick on a killer they like instead of switching "by default" to Hillbilly / Nurse - they'll have better results in the long run.
However, to quote Matthieu Cote, every killer has limits, and some of them can be really frustrating in high ranks (infinites...), but overall the majority of killers can still perform well, I don't like this false idea of "Hillbilly / Nurse are the only killers viable at high ranks", it's just not true, they just have more tools available.

Honestly I just place traps randomly around the map near pallets and vaults and in grass. Make Your Choice is a GOD perk on Haggo. The issue with this is that:
1. you can't unsure that one teleport = one hit (since you didn't plan how you will use the trap)
2. you didn't think about how to make the spot perfect (exploit cam swing / bodyblock at their best)
3. you can't really predict if this trap will be triggered, and whenAlthough "unpredictable" might be the word you're looking for, since you're talking about pallets and windows. But to trap just for the sanity of using your power, without really knowing what you're doing (and what you will do), might not be the most efficient way in the long run to learn the Hag.
Don't bother about the grass. She's not the Trapper. Most of the time survivors won't see the trap if they run, the game is quite dark already.
-

@Runiver nice. And I assume it is also mandatory to trap areas I expect them to run after being chased away from a gen or hook, right?Yes, that's the basic idea - prediction. Start with the most obvious ones - the windows in the main building. They will always run to it.Then you can extand your knowledge to important paths / crossroads, ultra-safe pallets...
After the PTB, it will be easier to trap pallets.

Best move ever, lol.

I won't say I "hate" this, it's just that 1. it's very dumb (you farm the one on the hook for... nothing) 2. it leads to boring games (they just run to die in my arms, no hunt, no exciting chase left...).

hagbuff movement speed to 115% of survivors running
set trap 30% faster
activated trap interaction speed increase by 50%115% speed will change none of her issues and a lot of people will play her the lazy way. It's like giving 115% speed to Nurse. You can, but bad Nurse will still /// yet good Nurse will have even less counters.
I don't know what "30% faster" means in actual numbers. Give her a brown Necklet in her base kit to start with, and she will be amazing.
I don't understand what do you mean with the last suggestion. If it's to stop her "no-lunge" stun after teleport - a huge YES for this.
you can't example with nurse its only overpowered killer without add ons
nurse=100~200h player can smack 1k~3kh survivors
hag=750h(me) can t-bag and unlimited popcorn for same rank (1~10rank killers) hag players
cause its simply slower than other killers and don't have threaten ability like wind up tinkerer huntless
which same movement speed with hagand you re right i meant they should buff hag's teleport stun and interaction(go underground and pop up) time
You don't get my point.
Give a 115% speed to Nurse and Hag. What will happen?
Bad Hag/Nurse will not use their power and instead just chase survivors like a Trapper.
Good Hag/Nurse will be even more deadly since they can afford to do mistakes.Either way, that will solve none of her issue. At all. It will just increase the gap between bad and good Hag.
I don't understand why you are talking about teabagging. I can teabag the Nurse if I want. That doesn't make Nurse a bad killer. In fact, Hag is the character that has the more 4k rate at rank 1.
If a decent Nurse can "smack 3000 hours survivors", I'm sorry but they are utterly bad. Nurse is extremely vulnerable to stealth which is the easiest thing to achieve in the game. Nurse is far to be "overpowered", it's just that a lot of survivors only rely on pallet loop in order to survive. And pallet loop is a thing that both Nurse and Hag can punish fairly well.
I don't understand either why you are talking about base speed. Nurse is slow, too. This isn't an issue for her. And it isn't an issue for Hag either, because the pressure she provides - god, it's just insane. You can chase a whole team at the same time and even slugs several people under a couple of seconds while they are far away from each other.
To sum up: yes for a rework. But not straight out buffs to her movement speed. Hag is a top tier killer, she doesn't need a rework because she's "bad" (she's not), but because she is harder to master than Nurse, yet doesn't reward as equally as she should. She has too much overkill limits (no-lunge after a teleport, 32m teleport distance, slow trapping speed by default...) while it is already hard to play her properly.
