I would up the velocity of his bottles.
He would be a lot easier to learn/play if you didn't have to know where your bottles need to go like 10 seconds ahead of time

I’m with you. I hear these absurd stories of “he’s good in the right hands” but no one can ever explain why. I’ve also asked people to explain a single situation in which DS doesn’t down faster; no one has ever responded. The killer is worthless and BHVR should be embarrassed that they thought he was fine to release.
I mean. With there being zero cooldown between blades trickster can down faster then DS seeing how trickster can keep throwing during the injured sprint burst while DS has to go through swipe animation and most likely reloading animation.
DS is miles better then trickster cause he doesn't have the crippling weaknessess trickster has.
But it really isn't hard to think of situations where trickster downs people faster then DS does.
-
Really good killers don't need perks to down so having an early snowball is much stronger then over half the perks that are active all match.
That said really good killers also know spawn locations by hearth so they might not find it that usefull.
Final verdict: it's aight

The thing I find most hilarious about this is this is tier 2. Tf is tier 4 gonna be? “Down 4 survivors while undetectable while using the perk Dark Devotion. Do this two times in a single trial”
That wouldn't be that difficult. just slap on all the undetectable perks or play as myers/ ghostface and down 8 survivors.
With these perk challenges you don't actually need to use the perk. You just need it equiped
-
Well you atleast chose a fitting pfp
-
That would be the equivalent of removing all female characters because someone called you sexist.
Due the anomity people will be toxic online. Getting rid of the pride charm would not change that.
What would help is if people who were victim of toxidity actually reported it so action can be taken against the persons who actually were in the wrong instead of blaming it on something else.
-
Unless they explicitly tell you, you shouldn't just assume it's because of the charm.
People got camped and m1 spammed before the charm was a thing too.
And while that is a pretty jerk move to do calling someone out for homophobe is some serious accusation and namecalling and a hell of a lot worse then playing a videogame in a unfun way if it's not actually true.
This charm is meant to be a reprisentation and token of acceptance for lbgt. To show that they are welcome and part of the community.
It is not meant to be a weapon that you can use to shame the other players into giving you an easier game.
That sort of behaviour creates hate and mistrust and sorry but if you do that you're just as bad as the actual homophobes.
If they say they griefed because of the charm you can report them. If they don't then you can assume it's one of the 100 other reasons players can choose to be jerks online
-
Predropping pallets against a killer that can break them very fast and still have some mobility while doing it seems like a plan that's doomed to fail.
I'm guessing you just went against weaker players cause predropping pallets seems to be a thing you really really shouldn't do against this killer once he reaches tier 2
-
Most likely a perk that lits a totem that does something positive when cleansed.
the only issue with that theory is how it will work with hex perks.
will there be more then 5 totems if a killer brings a full set of hex perks and the survivors all bring boon perks?
Will the hexes gain priority? will the boons? who knows
-
I would have prefered they wouldn't use the word toxic at all under any context.
It's such a pointless word that lost all meaning that it's really weird hearing it used in a official lifestream.
It would be like if they called newer players baby killers/survivors
-
I would rather they don't change too much. Already lost one of my mains to a complete overhaul.
Rather would have a weaker killer i enjoy then a strong but boring killer like freddy turned into.
If anything nemesis having this is more arguments to not do it. If you want AI allies. You can play nemesis now. No reason to just make legion a copy paste of that.
Some buffs and quality of life changes is all they need. If there has to be a rework let it be like clowns where it just adds something small to what they already do.
But don't pull another Freddy where you straight up delete a killer that some people actually enjoy playing

I mean, you say that, but then they also literally used the term "autoban". Auto suggests, heavily, that it's automatic. As in, literally says it.
They did a poor job naming it, that's true.
Sometimes i feel they do these things on purpose just to see people freak out about nothing
-
@JimbusCrimbus said:
They LITERALLY, VERBATIM said "When you get enough reports, we'll take action"
If that, combined with the fact that DBD players will report for LITERALLY ANYTHING isn't a cause for concern, I don't know what is.
"We'll take action" as in the bans are still being dealt with by an actual person. Not the automation itself.
It's just a system that makes the process easier. Nobody is going to get banned by a machine. It does not have the final say.
-
Complaints and feedback are needed to improve a product so it's a nececary evil.
That said, yes. Yes we do
Half the things complained about are non issues too. And that's beibg very generous
-
How would you even buff Iron Will?
It's already a 100% reduction in sound ability that's always on without any input from the survivor.
It's already at the top of how strong it can be without just adding more things to it.
-
The first and last teaser was like months ago. It's really not surprising the conversations died out. In contrast to the usual things you see every day in the game.
People will talk about it again tomorrow when there actually is new stuff to talk about
-
Dowsey had like a 800 winstreak with them and the other 2 twin players probably play like once or twice a week.
The win procent of twins must have been of the charts

if you want to play Legion you need a very good understanding about mindgames and how to optimized chases.
If you don't they are very bad.
Once you do they are a very decent and massivelly underrated killer that can snowball really fast.
Other then that general things apply. Don't overcommit to chases.
Don't fatigue in front of healthy survivors. If you feel like you can't reach them in one frenzy. End your power manually and walk to them normally. Your power will be back when you get there
Learn to use the information Frenzy gives you. Even knowing nobody is in your terror radius is helpfull information
As for perks Enduring is good for the problem your having. I wouldn't run spirit fury unless you run the addon that breaks pallets by vaulting
-
I would change it that the deepwound timer is 5 seconds.
But everytime you run or mend the timer is refreshed.
No more gens done in your face and Legion can't force a down anymore by making you repeatetly vault when your mend bar is low.
Win win for all
-
I am being on a forced break cause internet issues.
Which sucks, I really want to play
-
Not every killer needs to be a 1v1 killer.
Legion's power is information and stalling. They are fine.
QoL changes and some small buffs are all they need.
Making a power that's easy to hit, provides uncounterable information, stalls the game and on top of that could down survivors is so obviously overpowered as heck that it's getting to absurd levels.
No killer has a power that does all these things
-
Old Legion could was a killer that would down you with 100% certainty but it would take forever. They also could cheese the deepwound mechanic cause it worked differently back then.
I wouldn't change anything outside of QoL changes and some buffs.
They are really not that bad
-
Never
Sadly you need friends to play in swf
-
Nope, cause I'm smart enough to stop playing if something is frustrating me.
-
End game perks in general are a bit underrated.
But yeah keys mess it up
-
He's my dream licence. And while a bit trickier with a bit of creativity he can fit in the game just fine
-
Dbd is a horror based game.
It's just that exposure numbs horror so that can't be the full game.
If you had a 1000 hours playing outlast then it wouldn't be scary anymore too.
And for that very reason very few people have a 1000 hours on outlast. Unlike dbd that have quite a few people with that number and above
-
Funny thing is that mori's enable keys cause the hatch spawns sooner when survivors die and mori's aren't fast enough anymore to outpace the key.
Best way is to dodge keys.
Close alternitive is to go very slug heavy and don't kill anybody untill you can get them all in one swoop.
If nobody dies the hatch only spawns when all generators are done. Still a hastle but that's the best perkfree counter i could find.
-
Lore wise it's to give the survivor hope that escaping is always an option. The entitiy feeds of that hope.
Gameplaywise it's to end the game. Otherwise the survivor would just hide all day or run to the most busted loops they can find to waste as much of your time as possible. Trust me hatch is a good thing.
Outside of the end game mechanic spawning in the middle of the game ofcourse but that's another topic
-
I would not accept this key nerf.
Reason being that the core problem of keys is still there. The game still just suddenly is over. The other survivors that were left behind probably won't stand a chance anymore and a fun thrilling game just stops.
As long as a survivor can escape without doing all the gens or being the last one alive keys will be a problem.
Also your idea messes up an achievement and it's quite a hastle to change those.
All that needs to happen is that hatch only spawns after all gens are done or a single survivor is left. Funny thing is that's a simple number change
-

That would absolutely kill the perk. I know the perk can be frustrating to play against, but 5 seconds is a long time given the short dash. The killer will down you in the next 5 seconds.
5 seconds is indeed to much but it is the right idea.
Make it like 2 seconds so you have to use it earlier and it wouldn't be as timeconsuming
The most annoying thing about dead hard right now is that you can use it at the last moment at any moment. All other distance gaining perks are either very situational or have to be used early.
With dead hard you have to go through the entire chase before getting denied by it. That's the problem and that's what makes it such a time waster.
-
I have never in my 1000+ hours heard anyone brag about such a thing.
more likely that survivor was just happy they got their "do 4 pallet stuns in a match" challenge and because your mind is so rigged that "millions of survivors are sore losers and stuff" you just took it as bragging.
It's funny how a flawed view on the world can twist the words some people are hearing/reading
-
Meanwhile i called myself a moron in chat and that didn't get cencored.
It's a good thing to implent but it needs work
-
Because people don't know how to take a break.
Something bad happens and they jump right into next game. another bad thing happens and they get frustrated but still hop right into the next game. Then they get so frustrated that every little thing annoys them. Frustration creates more frustration and they end up rage quiting over the smallest thing.
Sad part is that all of it could have been avoided by just playing something else for like a half hour.
"If you are frustrated, go play civ 5" is like one of the best pieces of advice given but most of the community is too dense to understand it
-
Make it so not doing it is more effective then doing it. Reward good behaviour instead of looking topunish bad ones.
For example decreased action speed for injured survivors and a action speed buff for every dead survivor encourages killer to spread damage and go for 8 hooks before starting to get survivors out the game.
Things like that
-
Sweet good job.
You deserve them
-
Do people really think that developers just play their games all day?
-
A stun really needs to be avoidable or else killers will never pick up survivors again.
Imagine losing 4 survivors on your shoulder cause they all have a portable stun.
-
Outside of his addons nothing changed much tbh.
75% of the time when you place a snare you stop to run the other direction so the slowdown doesn't matter at all
-

i know you may like him and I'm sure he would be better with some good buffed, I'm not even saying he needs a totally rework I just want him a good spot. plus I just wish this killer was a bit more unique his power is just running and stabbing no real uniqueness to it.
I mean you can break down everyone's power like that.
Billy is just running fast with a chainsaw.
Spirit/wraith is just running fast while invisible
Ghostface is just looking at people with no terror radius.
The uniqueness comes from their tracking. hitting a Laurie in frenzy that reveals 2 killer instincts where you know one of them is the david you just saw means that the other one is the claudette that is on deathhook and with the lack of the 4th one means that the adam is on one of the gens outside of your terror radius that had little to no progress last time i saw them. I can quickly go to claudette finish her off and be back to the gen adam is working on without having to worry about the laura finishing a gen in the meantime cause she has to mend.
That's the sort of mind gymnastics a good Legion player goes through whenever they hit a frenzy. That most people just run, stab, fatigue, chase repeat with them is not the fault of the killer. That's like saying Billy is boring to play while just using chainsaw for mobility, only using m1 and completly disregarding curving in loops.

imo idk about everyone else tho, the legion is a boring killer to play and go against. for killer your power is just stabbing and runing, your power really cant be used in a chase, the most fun thing in this game. for surv the legion just stabs and runs away, even if he is just another M1 killer in the chase if your doing well he can just stab you then run away with the tracking he gets
I'm not saying he is op I'm just saying he is a bit boring for both sides, and the Freddy rework made him better ya removed his uniqueness but people back then didn't like Freddy cuz he was boring with the whole gen speed penalty, and for killer is was probably worse with the whole 7 sec dream transition time
If you don't care about others opinion why should others care about yours?
I don't find Legion boring to play. I like their information based playstyle. M1 chases and mindgames are also the most fun part of the game for me and Legion is one of the better m1 killers as after his frenzy one succesfull mindgame is all you need.
They are one of the few killers that focus on the 4v1 left.
Some QoL changes and some small buffs here and there i would be completly behind.
But a rework is not happening. They already spend a lot of time and effort to make Legion workable and now that they're functional and performing well there is zero reason to change that.
And yes they are performing well. Just because some people run themself into fatigue in front of healthy survivors or can't land a m1 without something helping them does not mean they are not playable
-

Legion can't really get much more boring.
Then don't play him and let the people who enjoy them enjoy them
-
Some QoL changes like power not depleting on m1 hits and stuff like that.
Give the oblivious status effect to feral frenzy slashes so people are forced to find a good spot to mend in and make the mending a little more excitting.
Maybe other small buffs like that.
But for the love of god do not completelly overhaul them!
Legion isn't even in that bad of a spot. People just play this information based 1v4 killer as a chase based 1v1 killer
I really don't want another Freddy shebuckle where my main just gets deleted and replaced with a maybe stronger but much more boring character.
If you don't like Legion there are other killers to play. There are people who enjoy playing them the way they are now.

No because all of those green ranks I play against are also former rank 1s lol
It's more that you need less emblems now to get merciless.
Even with the same survivors it's still easier
-
Not apperently
Normally it resets you back one color, but it seems to be bugged cause i went from rank 1 all the way down to rank 9.
so it looks like it hit me twice
-
She's not even the most interresting character in her own game let alone the franchise. Outside of the meme's she's really not that special.
Also start of production of the re killer happened over 6 months ago. They didn't know lady d was going to be popular at that time
-
Multiple things
1) Escaping is not the victory condition.
While it is the goal. This game is designed that some people have to die. Not escaping does not always mean your bad or anything. That's a mindset people really need to get rid of. You are meant to die sometimes. That's why out of all the 16 emblem points you can get surviving can only give you a max of 2.
2) Focus more on the pip system.
As said before escaping is only a max of 2/16 emblem points. If you constantly depip it might mean you are spending a lot of time in the trial doing nothing. Cleanse the bones, take protection hits. Activelly seek a chase with the killer or stay in their terror radius for a while.
Emblems are a new Ranking Mechanic that was implemented with Patch 1.9.4 into Dead by Daylight . 1 Overview 2 Survivor Emblems 2.1 Lightbringer 2.2 Unbroken 2.3 Benevolent 2.4 Evader 3 Killer Emblems 3.1 Gatekeeper 3.2 Devout 3.3 Malicious 3.4 Chaser 4 Emblem Qualities 5 Ranking 5.1 Pip Conditions 6 Change Log 6.1 Patch 2.0.0 6.2 Patch 2.3.0 6.3 Patch 3.0.0 7 Trivia The Emblem System is a replacement for the Victory Cube for Killers and the old Bloodpoint-related Rank Mechanic for Survivors. A Pmight be a long read, but if you depip all the time it is handy to know how you can get as much emblems as possible. Note some games you're not going to be able to do much but it shouldn't be every game.
3) frustration breeds more frustration
Especially in a tense game like dbd. If you are on a losing streak take a break. If you get frustrated your performance goes down, which leads to more frustration. And it comes to the point where every small thing agrovates you. If you feel frustrated take a break. Even just half an hour of playing something else.
Mc. Cote has said it wonderfully and this quote is often misunderstood. If you are frustrated play something else like civ 5. This wasen't to scare people away but a way to tell people to step away sometimes. Any game that's relaxing or slowpaced for you can do this. Then after you calmed down you can go back to the fog. That's a very important lesson to let your mind rest. You should listen to Mc. Cote's wisdom. I always have another game i can play aside from dbd and i very rarely get too frustrated with the game.
4) take more breaks regardless
I'm not your parent or anything but 6 hour gaming sessions are already a bit on the long side. You are exhausting your brain. Even 2 2,5 hour session with an one hour break in the middle would be so much better.

thats because they're incapacitated, hag is very short and very thin, not hard to overpower her
Can you rip out a liver out of somebody? incapacitated or not. it takes quite a bit of force to do that.
Hag is based on a wendigo. their stature is very misleading to their strengt. you would very much die if you fought her.
Same like you would fighting a skinny vampire. overpowered mythical beings and stuff
-
Lol at hag in gg ez
Last time i checked she has enough force to rip a man's liver straight out of their belly
-
The basic attack requirement make it really unusable for a lot of killers but those who can use it it's pretty nice.
Lower gen regression then pop but no other effort like kicking gens required.
I wish the radius was a bit bigger though. With the cooldown it should really always atleast hit one gen
