Yes, DBD on PS5 blows PS4 out of the water! The frame drops that plague the PS4 version are gone for the most part, and when it does happen, it's nowhere near as bad. I've had one, maybe two incidents since the PS5 version launched.
-
Impossible, Doctor has held that title since 2017. Only Freddy has gotten close to dethroning him (Wraith is starting to get up there though).
-
They probably just think of things that sound cool, throw them into the game, and only test them to make sure they aren’t bugged (unless it’s a basement challenge, then it’s a hit or miss).
-
Lack of playtesting from the devs. Some of these pallets are absurd and I’m baffled that they even made it to the PTB.
-
A buff that’ll piss off Survivors who use Exhaustion perks as a crutch? I’m all for it!

That wouldn´t actually work with the mmr. So better hurry, before they turn it on.
How? I thought everyone would get sent back to rank 20 at each reset, where the Emblem requirements for a double pip would be easier. Yeah I wouldn't be matched with complete noobs, but it's better than having to get four Iridescents against red rank Survivors with a Killer I don't play as.
-
Yep, so I can go back to rank 20 and get Adept Killer trophies.
-
1, maybe 2.
-
After realizing how stupid this challenge is, I thought I would just unlock Empathy on Zarina and combine it with For The People to complete this challenge.
I now have her level 40 and all teachables unlocked. I guess it’s not a complete waste of BP because I’m closer to getting all Survivor teachables but I would’ve liked to put all those points into someone like Doc or Wraith.
I really hope we get an in-depth look at how the Archive team designs the challenges because it really seems like they have no clue how the game is actually played.
-
Night Hunter as the Killer or we riot.
-
Wait, is this 10 add-ons we keep or the 10 we remove? I see people posting both.
-
Maybe Plague? Even then I’d always pair it with Thanatophobia. I just don’t like how it gives the Obsession a free Botany Knowledge. I used it on Demo when it first came out for some reason.
-
Visually they all look good, but gameplay-wise... not so much.
Yamaoka (Sanctum) and Autohaven are fine to me.
The Game should be shown in game design classes as an example on how NOT to make a map.
Springwood and Lery’s still suck.
I haven’t played enough on Disturbed Ward or Ormond.
The other maps are infected with the breakable wall plague to some degree.
-
Yeah, no. You'd lose points if you had bad hook RNG, connection screwed up at the wrong time, or the Survivor sucks at hiding. Am I really supposed to look at a Survivor and “yeah, I know you’re in a bad spot, but I’ll let you go because you just got unhooked, ok?” That’s being a nice Killer, but a good one?

Here's mine from some of my current favorites games. I really like listening to soundtracks, so I have a lot.
Skyrim - Sovenguard
Resident Evil 7 - Barn Fight
Resident Evil 2 (Remake) - Malformation Of G
Little Nightmares 2 - End Of The Hall
I have a hell of a lot more, but I don't this list to get long.
Which Malformation of G? He's got five of them. They're all great though.
-
Killer: Doctor
Survivor: Not sure
-
127 on the PS4 version and 68 on the PS5 version. 195 in total.
-
Nemesis! Not only is he badass and scary, but his variety of weapons can make for interesting power ideas. The original version should also be included as a free skin (same for the Survivors that he comes with).
-
Nemesis.
-
No wonder I’ve been getting bad Survivors with my boy Doc and good Survivors with pretty much everyone else. The MMR has always worked backwards for me.

No offence but I'd rather a chapter cost me £5.19 and skins cost me ~£8 than skins be ~£2 and chapters be significantly more expensive. The actual gameplay content being cheap is significantly better than the alternative.
I think the game’s gotten big enough to where we wouldn’t need to make chapters more expensive. If players are fine with paying $10 for cosmetics, they’ll go nuts if they’re $3. This price decrease will even bring in people who have sworn off buying cosmetics because of how expensive they are.
-
Greedy devs and a fanbase that is way too loyal (except for Silent Hill cosmetics, that's on Konami). That's the reason we keep getting these overpriced cosmetics. You can buy an outfit for the price of two characters, or a cosmetic piece for the price of one character, which is insane. No game (especially one that's not F2P) should have a monetization system like that. I think that cosmetics should cost no more than $3, not this crazy $10 asking price lol. It's the same thing with using shards for store purchases. A single outfit (21,600 shards) costs more than two characters (9,000 each, 18,000 total). Like what the hell is that? Unfortunately people will gobble them up without question.

God of War 3 has so many good tracks (I'm actually listening to it right now), so I'm just going to link the playlists. If I had to pick favorites, they'd be Brothers of Blood, the final boss theme and Rage of Sparta, the theme whenever Kratos gets ready to kill most bosses.

It's baffling how this isn't a thing over three years after the perk's release. I guess some Survivors are really that desperate to deny 25% extra BP. Sad.
And because people are inevitably going to bring this up, teammate DCs should also give Survivors stacks of We're Gonna Live Forever.

Correct, it is! Also the same phenomenon that guarantees a plague if you equip Autodidact, or a 4man flashlight squad if you think about Wraith or Hag for half a second!
At this point it happens so often that I wouldn't be surprised if it's intentional. Like the devs somehow programmed the game to prioritize matching you with players that counter whatever you're trying to. Stun the Killer? Here's some Spirits, Doctors, and any Killer that is terrified of pallets. Trying to cleanse some totems? Have some Trappers and Freddys. I've had Killers give up downs because apparently a pallet stun is the scariest thing in the world.

That challenge doesn't sound that difficult? I haven't reached it yet, but by the wording, you don't even need to heal a Survivor from 0 to full, and just need to pick them in general.
Run We're Gonna Live Forever for the extra healing speed, and maybe combine that with Botany Knowledge, We'll Make It and a tricked out Medkit.
Shouldn't take more then a single match really, unless the Killer is very commited to picking every Survivor up the moment they go down. In that case, that's just bad luck
That's the thing. You need the Killer to slug, and none of them are doing that! You need to get lucky to finish this challenge, which is terrible design. No challenge should be this reliant on luck.
-
Could crack Wraith be faster than Billy?
-
I’m just waiting for MMR and the new rank reset where everyone is reset to 20 to finish them. Having to redo them all on PS5 sucks. Somehow I managed to get Billy in red ranks (used my chainsaw a grand total of two times to down, everyone else got my basic attack).

I think a lot of people are missing the obvious explanation here that has nothing to do with being nonbinary.
"The Plague" is both Adiris, the woman, AND the infection she's carrying.
That makes sense and actually sounds pretty awesome, like she is the infection personified.
-
I’m going to assume you just had a bad game against him, because that’s exactly what it sounds like.
Also it looks like my job has already been done. Guess there’s lot more Doctor mains than I thought on this forum.

Wow, this went over more heads than I would expect.

Closed maps take the worst of breakable doors. I imagine if they rework Lery or Hawkins, it would be tedious to play there, Midwich should stay the same, the same goes for Dead Saloon.
I’m glad they reworked Lery’s before they got into this breakable wall craze. It’s the only reworked map to not have any and I love it.
-
The Game’s walls need to be broken because they block access to hooks more often than not. It already didn’t have the best hook distribution but the walls make it even worse.

The achievements are just inconsistent. Myers' achievement also says "it."
Myers is supposed to be evil incarnate, so saying it would make sense.
@Renfear Doctor's Adept used to say her instead of him a while ago (like years ago, before his most recent rework), but it got fixed. I think it's the same situation for Plague and the devs will eventually update it.
-
Yeah, this should have been pushed back to the next major update. This is their worst map rework yet by a long shot.
-
I think something screwed him up in this patch. When playing against Survivors without Calm Spirit, sometimes I'll hear the scream but not get the visual notification.
-
They are. I’ve already seen someone say that it was bugged for them lol.
-
Because whoever designs the Archive challenges doesn’t understand the game. Look at the Buried Underground challenge. Sounds simple, until you remember that there’s been reports of basement challenges bugging out, but they still put it in. Unsurprisingly, that challenge has bugged out for a couple people (I saw at least one report the day the level opened).
If you look at some of the other levels and Tomes, you’ll see some more challenges that are easier said than done for various reasons (such as being RNG-reliant, buggy, or hurting your teammates during a game) like get a basement 4k, get two gen grabs in a single game, hide near the Killer for 60 seconds in a single game, and get hooks/kills during the EGC.
-
I think they buffed their speed. Every Survivor has gone super fast when starting to spin, faster than before. Sometimes it’s like they just vanish out of nowhere. And of course the auto-aim decides to activate at the worst time to screw me over.
-
It’s too bad you didn’t make this a few months ago, the devs have already decided to gut him next.
-
With how they've been turning out lately I'm not sure I want another one. Haddonfield and Coldwind might get even worse with a rework.
-
Trail of Torment's not bad at all, but if you really don't want to get it then you have to prestige or never level up PH again.
-
Just happened to me with a Claudette on The Game. I was playing Wraith.
-
Aren't you on the One X, the strongest of the last gen consoles? It really sucks that last gen has to go through this hell. Not everyone is fortunate enough to acquire a PS5 or Series X (especially with all the scalpers trying to buy them up and the pandemic going on).
-
It takes him a while to get to tier 3 with that add-ons and he can still be looped. It’s not like Mikey gains the ability to throw his knife at and instantly down you or something.
-
It’s funny how some Survivors are getting so defensive over 360s now. Like what’s really going to happen on the Survivor side if they get removed? Are Survivors just that obsessed with their existence and 4.5.0 was that scary to them? They hurt last gen console frames anyways so it’d be a good thing if they were removed. It’s not like the devs are going to suddenly optimize them.
-
I expected that, although it feels like they never left to me.
At least I got a couple of Killer Adepts out of the way.
-
Did he shock you? If so, then you were stunned and couldn’t interact with anything. If he didn’t, then that’s a bug. I’ve been playing Doc since 2017 and he’s never been able to straight up deny an unhook without using his shock. If he has, it’s because of a bug.
-
I used to use it on Demogorgon and Plague until I realized it was hurting more than helping. Being Broken means nothing if you're going up against Survivors that know how to loop properly.
-
A whopping 12 games. Wow. Maybe you should wait until you have more to make a post like this.
