  • My guess is the dog has a unique speed modifier involving the scent orbs for haste.

But i have a feeling its more like they didnt code his other forms to get special event abilities as they might be usable as attacks in batform or something. For example the ghost haunt projectiles

    Witcher 1 - 3
    No Rest for the Wicked
    Thief Gold

Just finnished witcher 1 not too long ago. Took me such a looooooong time lol just starting 2

  • The event mechanics have made the gameplay much more competitive rather than casual as killers get easy downs with poison, and survivors get easy mid chase heals and ways to extend / escape chases, making everyone play to win much harder. And im also guessing the bully squads are out in full force with all these new abilities so lots of killers are just fed up and will just go all out in every round as some of the abilities make every random team even feel like bully squads.

I have not seen a single round where both sides farmed and tried to max out event points. Or even someone giving the hatch.

  • Ill admit back then my "looping" was like chasing after a 3 legged turtle. But it also made for very quick matches where nothing felt personal. I prettymuch figured you get caught once and go to the next round since thr killer could ensure you died if they wanted to.

I also did'nt care much about gaining ranks as i found the game just got harder the higher my rank was lol.

Killer was fun as i don't recall ever having to deal with people abusing infinites n stuff (because they must've all been in the high ranks).

There wasn't really a character on either side that i considered maining, until silent hill show up but at that time i was tsking a break from the game, and then residrnt evil pulled me back in.

I remember freddy being extremely hard to win against as a newer survivor. But it also made him fun to play against as it was a major challenge. (Everybody else just abused failing skill checks with self care) i do miss his old power, couldve just gotten some number tweaks and having self healing skillchecks not wake you up.

(Also they just announced the cakes are now guaranteed 1 per bloodweb, 50 per prestige)

For those that haven't yet seen, we have updated on Twitter (I will forever refuse to say X):

Following player reports, we have been investigating why the Toothy Torte offering is appearing less than the previous year, and while we have not completed our investigation into why the previous year granted more than the intended amount, we have made the decision to increase the current guaranteed amount of Toothy Tortes so that each level of the Bloodweb will have at least one offering to guarantee 50 offerings per Prestige Level for the rest of the Event, this replaces the current Mystery Boxes that spawn. Event items will still spawn in the Bloodweb normally.

We know this has been a massive source of frustration for players and we apologize that this has taken as long as it has, we want everyone to enjoy the rest of the Anniversary Event and the Bloodhunt. Happy 10 years of Dead by Daylight!

Is that live now or coming next week? Nvm i tested it, can confirm its working now thank you

I'm not a fan of stealth games so I made it about 5 minutes into the original Outlast. Trials is something I'd be likely to play with friends.

I also have Phasmophobia, which I've found horribly boring even with other people, and 7 Days to Die, which I haven't tried yet. That's it for me and multis.

The tough to start learning, yeah, that seems to be a problem nowadays with how long games stick around for and how big they get. I used to be able to hop onto some random shooter and do okay. Nowadays games come with an encyclopedia worth of backinfo. But if I can do it with dbd without any external help from CCs, I can do it again.

Even shooters nowadays feel overcomplicated. I played battlefield 2 for years and loved how simple it was, no weapon customisation or anything to a point where i could tell the guy around the corner was a medic just from the sounds of his gun shots lol. Now in battlefield 6 if you arent crouching around like everyone does against jason in dbd, then everyone in a quarter mile somehow hears your extremely loud footsteps. And even if you are crouch walking they just know ur coming anyway.

Then theres the fact that you need 10 addons to your gun or it can't hit a tree. So i gave up on bf6.

And outlast trials is still very stealth based.

  • @zonkednb My favorite rogue like is Devil Slayer Raksasi. Its a top down view swordplay style game against japanese demons/monsters/yokai etc. Lots of characters to play as, each with their own playstyles and weapon bonuses. Seems to be getting a sequel but no release date

    11b6281c619932fde7fa0522c5e925a8c12a11798b4a0e581ba3747e3544837d.jpeg 8a22a5e170293194808fe94a2c0f385ebd2f5cd95177f51076a51b8bfb6ed2c3.jpeg

This is the first game^ has some extra mode expansion that turns all the characters into godmode lol

Between Jason, the queue times, and the cakes I've also mostly cooled on dbd for now (though my cooling is probably a lot of people's normal).

I recently played Mouthwashing. Love it and ordered a shirt and the soundtrack immediately. In my search for a stress-free Animal Crossing dupe I started Cozy Grove and it's exactly what I wanted but with a magic/ghostly twist. Continuing my quest for a different tone I'm also playing Little Kitty Big City, though I'm really disappointed with it. After that I'll go back to horror. I've really been enjoying tiny horror/psychological games that only take a couple hours. Order 13, I Did Not Buy This Tickets, The Cat Lady, and No Means Nothing are on my short list.

I don't currently play any other multis but I just got The Outlast Trials from the Steam Summer Sale so I'll likely give that a go at some point.

I've tried some outlast trials, after completing outlast 1. Certainly one of them "shock factor" games, where it really seems to want to test if you want to see gross stuff all the time. I only played it solo so far as most of the game can be played alone. Its got seasonal fomo rewards that aren't something anyone would go out of their way for lol still unsure if any of it returns.

Tough game to start learning tho

Final Fantasy XIII is not fully turn based. You can attack, use skills or items - attacks need 1 point each, skills different amounts of points. They fill themself up over time so you're kinda turn based, but you could attack anytime in theorie. Same for the enemies. Items are spamable in theorie without any costs I think. Also the people in your group attack automatically but you can choose one skill they do automatically I believe (I'm just in chapter 2 of 13)xD

I only played pokemon alpha saphire and pokemon karmesin, I also purchased ultra moon but didn't really played it yet xD

I also played final fantasy XIV, it's pretty fun, at least in my opinion probably even more than WOW :D

The only pokemon game i ever finnished was Blue. Like gameboy colour Blue. Though ive played atleast half of them. My cartridges for the gameboy colour actualy started to have their batteries die. Odd way of finding out they even had batteries lol, the game would play about 2-5 minutes and then shut itself off. Removing all save data.

  • Havent played helldivers 2, only 1. By the time i saw it on pc there was some big problem going on with the game, might have been something to do with the player count. That drove me away from it.

As for 7 days to die i played it quite a bit in its early access, i remember them removing the character customisation. I like using the knife for bleed damage

And palworld i got when it came out, tried it once, and decided to wait for release or something so i guess ill reinstall that too lol

Currently the gothic 1 remake and final fantasy XIII because I never played a final fantasy in my live :D

I remember i saw others play final fantasy 7 and stuff ehike groeing up and i couldn't stand turn based games except for pokemon. It wasn't until i found a game called Disciples 2 for like 5$ in some bargain bin for pc games, then i started to enjoy turn based stuff too like heroes of might n magic etc. The only final fantasy i got into was the MMO i think it was 14?

  • I'm not against your post, i think his cooldown should be longer as he has too much mobility with such a tiny cooldown that never feels necessary to conserve. I'm just genuinely curious if you have played as the ghoul before? Most killers in the game can be played as to learn how to loop them on survivor. For example copying strategies you see survivors use to get away from you while playing them.

I agree that Kaneki himself doesn't fit as a killer in dbd seeing as he was human and doesn't want to eat humans. but I would definitely say that Rize does fit as a killer in dbd, afterall shes feared by all the other ghouls for killing more people than she has to. Always being called "The Glutton" for eating more people than ghouls averagely go for.

It is suprising that the ghoul has landed in a spot where they don't seem to wan't to nerf or majorly rework them like nurse and blight, despite all the outcry since their release.

My guess as to why its still very popular is either many have seen the show, or console players love the playstyle as its one of the easiest to use on console compared to stuff like trickster.

In the devs eyes as long as people are still able to escape (sometimes) than its balanced enough to fit in the game. And i have a feeling the upcoming killers are going to be even worse to deal with as the minimum power level seems to be rising if jason / the first / krasue / the grimoire killer, can be used as examples.

  • I guess the problem will not be solved afterall. It is a lie that we are getting more cakes alredy. Noone would be complaining if that was the case. The reason we wanted the rarity change was because some thought it was tied to spawn rate. Not because it costs more. So now they dodged another attempt at fixing the spawn rate everyone is mad about by going "oh yea we probably can change the rarity down now that the spawn rate is a fixed smaller amount". So the problem was avoided twice. And now we know future events are going to be just as hopeless and noone can collect cakes on all the characters they enjoy playing anymore. Only 1 or 2 characters for the entire event.

  • They are also missing The Life Road banner with Shane on his bike. Shows up ingame in the not unlocked section but all it says is Collection: The Life Road. (I have all his cosmetics)

So im guessing some stuff is still waiting to be added. Still have yet to see july's roadmap

  • Its kinda like when they put infinite tombstone myers in the game and wanted him to really stand out as a powerfull killer at the time. Seeing as myers came out after nurse.

So when it comes to jason its like they wanted him to slightly beat ghoul/krasue/the first to make him feel more of iconic powerful killer. Doesn't mean any of thats good for the game as the base strength level of new killers is starting to rise to A-S tier minimum. If they did Xeno around this time hed probly be crawling on the walls and getting instadown pounces or busted facehuggers etc.

Even the grimoire killer looks like they will be even more of a problem then jason in the right hands. Its like giving the first - pig traps and other passive debuffs on the side.

  • I swapped to that FSR setting to stop the transparency, but it jist creates a different problem in that everything is too solid and sparkly. I played without either of the 2 graphics settings for years without knowing about them. The options seem to be disable both settings for crap graphics but everything lools normal, enable the fsr that turns the other option off and makes everything thick and sparkly (kinda tough on the eyes too) or the other setting that makes some of the graphics look better but hair looks transparent.

I guess we are waiting for the graphics rework next year to get propper looking graphics.

  • Maybe its like the ice nine kills thing where they are adding the music to the shirts at a later date. Though i think they would've announced that

  • (Accidentally hit post comment instead of edit. They really need to let u delete comments lol)

  • Pigs greatest strength is how vulnerable someone is once their trap is active. If she decides to follow them, their only escape is through hatch or they die. If she continues to interfere with their attempts at taking the traps off, there a fair chance they could die as well.

Not many killers have that much nearly guaranteed 1 kill potential unless they are standing over someone waiting for rancor.

Her other strength is passive slowdown as people will rarely take working on a generator over trying to get their traps off. And will even avoid healing at hooks while traps are active.

The hard part is catching someone to get all the above started. The dash is effective but predictable. But can also be mindgamed by faking directions. I have had rounds where if survivors make it to certain loops they could loop me all day. But ive played many survivor rounds where i barely stood a chance when the killer is very aggressive in their playstyle (tunneling/camping etc) but also pig is designed to ambush people that don't know shes near them rather than full on chase.

  • This has been asked about since the auto leveling was implemented i think last year. Unfortunately we haven't recieved an update about if they are working on improving the auto leveling with this feature.

There is however another livestream sometime this summer thats supposed to reveal quality of life changes and other things. Perhaps they might be announcing it then.

As much as I wish a lot of this was true, I just don't think the evidence supports it. I want to focus in on one line in particular:

They are starting to throw that away.

    Starting to?

How many times have we all been through the 'DbD is just about to die'. From bugs, to dev comments, to perk changes, to new unbalanced things, etc. - and we all keep going 'well, this will be the straw that breaks the camel's back'. Instead, we're seeing record player counts.

It's nice to think that people will have a reaction to it, but all of the game data seems to tell a much different story. The larger player base is either happy with it (in which case, great), don't care (also fine), or so caught up in the grind it doesn't really matter (a bothersome thought).

Ontop of all that^^ the one thing in all of DBD that has never been complained about in its entire lifespan, was the cakes. Until last year where they lopped p100s off at the wrist while everyone else could still collect thousands. The cakes were the only 100% possitive thing that everyone enjoyed about the game. And that just got obliterated for everyone without a single word as to why. But anyway we could go on about this for days as we have complete opposite viewpoints lol i don't want to waste your time on here trying to solve whos right or wrong. Was just disagreeing that cakes being gutted was in any way capable of making people play more.

Yes but all it takes is pushing the veterans away for once. The veterans are what advertises this game to the most new players, bringing in their friends to play alongside them. The more veterans that leave, the more this game is going to get desperate to retain newer players that keep leaving. Licenses bring in numbers but who tells them about the licenses? Bugs and balance and all that have all been minor ups n downs that the average person complains about. But one thing they should never have messed with is the anniversary cakes. Its not even a balance issue or a bug issue it was literally nerfed for no possitive reason. The cakes i have on the odd extra character are incentive enough to keep playing as the game has more variety that way. I can still play them with no cakes but increasing the grind does not keep people playing. Infact the opposite as people leave in between events, and come back for new chapters and events where the grind is its weakest. Taking cakes away from the entire community (not just the p100s this time) does the exact opposite of giving people incentive to keep grinding

  • @crogers271 said:

Can I explain it? Sure. Are you going to like it anymore? Probably not.

The reaction of the forums prove the reason - the fact that people are so irate proves they care about BP. Even people who have hundreds of cakes from prior years and more items then they could ever hope to spend, want that sweet, sweet BP. It doesn't really serve a purpose, but manufactured scarcity is a surprisingly effective tactic.

Maybe I don't see the big picture but aren't more of the new people leaving the game when they notice how unbearable the grind got with all the characters in the game?

The new players are the reason they've been able to cut back.

The longer we all play the game, the more they have to up the BP bonuses to make them seem somehow relevant. Have a hundred cakes? Could you imagine how cool a thousand would be?

Except for the new players, they standard of what is a boost is totally new. This month seems a lot better than last month. Next year will probably have to be better than this year, and so on. The goal is to find the right mix that's just enough to entice people, without giving too much away.

As for turning off new players, the player counts seem to tell the opposite. Grinds bring in players, if they didn't we'd still have multiplayer games like we did 20 to 30 years ago where you just had all the stuff right from that start. But the idea of having more stuff to unlock, more levels to achieve (even if they mean nothing) is one of those things that brings people back.

So to go back to the question:

BHVR wants people to grind, they don't want it to be too fast, and every data set we have from the game seems to indicate its a pretty good metric of keeping players.

Id argue it pushes more people away including the ones used to the grind. Nothing feels worse in a game than the company betraying you to cut costs. The cake problem isnt also about the grind, as even vetrans who are done grinding, still have a ton of new characters now with barely anything on them. These cakes were a nice way to give empty characters something to work with even if you don't want to fully prestige them. Now you can only afford to pick one of the over 60 characters and give that one enough cakes for the year, and play only them with no variety. Not all the side characters you also enjoy playing, or your p100s, or the characters you like to use at certain times. Just that one and only character can afford to build up cakes now. And if you play the game hard enough you might even get "some" cakes for a 2nd character. Having cakes to spend on most of your characters didn't just help with grind, it helped give players incentive to keep playing. What incentive would i have to keep playing when i ran out of cakes, and the reason i did is because the game company does'nt care about its player's satisfaction anymore, just their numbers? It feels like you are paying someone you hate for something you don't even need. And eventualy people will see value in anything else but this game. A live service game lives off its players satisfaction. They are starting to throw that away.

    I did, actually.

I was shocked they gave us that many.

    You know what it did?

It made me feel like BHVR was a pretty cool company. It made me feel like they valued us a customers to be so generous with an item like that. It made me feel like all of their missteps when it comes to balancing this game to be enjoyable for both sides were just the fumbling efforts of a development team trying its best when there are 0 other games like it for them to learn from and copy. It made me feel like at the end of the day, they wanted us to have fun playing their game.

It made me more willing to spend money on the game. I would actually buy every chapter with real money because I wanted to support the developers and the game.

But not anymore. Any cosmetic or character I can avoid spending real money on, I will. I have hundreds of thousands of banked iridescent shards due to the fact I never actually spent them on new chapters. I'm not quitting as I still enjoy the game, but they'll be getting less of my money now.

With the way they've decided to go with original chapters not having a buyable dlc anymore, they might have made it easier to avoid paying them as much as possible. I had a few games in the steam cart waiting for shane's dlc, and then he just showed up in the in game store only. I was able to get him and half his outfits without spending a dime. When normally i would've bought the chapter without even looking at the price lol

  • All i can say is i hope they listen to the flood of feedback they've been getting about the cakes, and decide to act upon it. I've seen a few things have lots of negative feedback and then be completely ignored and left as is ( examples: Richter's face, Rick & Daryl's placeholder screams/grunts, Dustin a d Robin's incorrect heights in game etc) but not to this extent where the entire community is flooding the forums and all social media with their negative feedback about the cakes. Yet still no answers. Can only hope to wait and see if some new patch comes in like the one they just did. And if it doesn't.. well theres no reason to get hyped up for year 11 as by then we will know it'll just get worse.

If you're like me and don't really want to play a character that can get some pretty cheap wins, just run sub-optimal builds. Ghoul can afford to break away from the meta.

On topic, though, BHVR is never going to revert the cake changes. They feel like they need to do it to maintain player retention, so the only way to actually get them to back down is if thousands of us stop playing, which just won't happen.

Yea im just holding onto hope that bhvr will care enough to change the cakes back with enough voices. But if anyone knows how pointless it is to ask for something on this forum it is I, the one whos comments they delete everytime i ask for Shanoa again for the past couple years lol.

I've also never been much into using meta builds either. Like i often play The First and try to bring only barbeque for aura rather than a full aura build. I can't even remember the year it was that i last used something like Noed to get an expose hit challenge done. Ghoul's meta seems to involve Friends till the end and obsession builds (from all the kanekis ive played against). Which i havent used on them yet. Its just been more about how common he was that people were kinda sick of seeing ghouls every 2nd round.

Just play Ghoul. You bought the licensed chapter, you bought the licensed skin, play the character. I promise you that it's morally okay to play as a video game character that some people find annoying.

Besides, if there's one life lesson that DBD has taught me, it's that anyone who would actually complain about something as simple as what killer their opponent picked are the people you should be the least concerned about upsetting.

(Of course I mean people complaining at the killer here, nothing wrong with privately grumbling to yourself/friends)

Ill admit you are right and i should probably just play her regardless. Jason seems to be the current focus and most popular pick these days too.

It was allot worse maybe half a year ago where the first person i'd hit in every round would turn around and stare at me like

    5e638ed84651edd0943ad9d574f3f5ce.jpg

Can't say i've seen that anymore these days

  • @Zakon05 said:

Not saying I don't agree we need to have more cakes, but it's actually slightly better BP efficiency to grind them on your p100s.

It costs about 1,100,000-1,200,000 BP to prestige a character once. Because the cakes only appear at certain levels, you can only get a max of 27 cakes on killer, and a bit less on survivor since the cakes appear on less levels for them for some reason.

You get 1 cake guaranteed per p100 bloodweb, and you can get through 30 bloodwebs for the same amount of BP. Which means a bit more for killer and several more for survivor.

The levels the cakes appear on by the way are:

    Killer: 3, 5, 7, 10 (two on this level), 12, 13, 15, 20, 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 42, 44, 45, 47, 49, 50.

    Survivor: 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 28, 30, 33, 35, 38, 40, 42, 45, 47, 50

The thing about the p100s tho i have tons of everything i could need on the p100 alredy except for cakes. So it feels like each cake costs an entire lvl 50 bloodweb of items you don't really need, when other characters could be earning prestiges with the same points along with the cakes and items they could start stockpiling. Year 8 i could get 3-5 cakes per bloodweb allowing me to stock up quickly and move on to other characters. Which is why year 9 the nerf certainly made it feel much worse.

  • @ForTheEntity said:

Out of curiosity how many cakes from last year do you have left on Lara and Rize?

928 on lara. I barely play ghoul because i've been waiting for a rework that will likely never come or the hate to die down. (big fan of Rize from the anime though). Mind you i play the whole roster constantly on both sides (10 p100s). So if i were playing only lara this whole time, shed probably be out of cakes. Rize still has 1107 because ive probably used her 6 times in the entire year.

  • Some reasons its not a good thing for survivors to be unique:

    • Lisencing nightmare. They would have to bring in every license holder, rewrite their contracts and tell them they are changing everything and try to get them to each come up with a unique ability. Even the licenses they have a bad standing with.
    • Lobby dodging. Survivors would dodge lobbies if anyone goes to use specific characters. Killers would dodge lobbies when bully squads can now all pick the character with the best ability for bullying killers. Lobby dodging would go through the roof and the mmr would get shredded.
    • The future of perks. Theyd have to waste over 53 ideas on new abilities for every survivor when they could have been upcoming perks. And they've alredy nearly run out of unique ideas so they wouldn't be able to come up with that many all at once.
    • Your favorite characters now become the exact opposite to your playstyle. Or their ability is too weak so you have no incentive to play them anymore, since everyone dodges you in lobbies as well.
    • Like mentioned in above comments Targetted tunneling. Kill off the survivor with the most useful ability first like how Dwights used to be targets because they usually stuck to his perks to help people get the gens done faster.
    • Survivors are alredy strong enough. Giving them extra abilities ontop of their perks would make this a 1000% survivor sided game as one of the only advantages a killer has is unique abilities, now the other 4 players get their own as well.
  • Jason is the new example. Ur mostly throwing m2 spikes but if you want to get the quest done you have to avoid throwing spikes, or it just takes much longer to do naturally.

  • Earlier my killer que time was 2 seconds. I guess it evened out over time.

  • Not everybody gets the same kind of rounds. Ive had some where a bully squad could heal the whole team on command mid chase ontop of usual bully mechanics, along with invincibility, unbreakable pallets being constantly used in the same round. And then the invisibility is like on command free escape from chase along with teleporters that can be used even easier than the ones in the D&D map with invisibility and items fully recharging. Then we all know how 2v8 has that on command sprint burst well thats somehow part of this event too including faster gen speeds even while alone / faster vaulting /faster totem braking /faster healing etc.

Incompetent randoms might not abuse such mechanics as much (even tho it only takes 1 person to keep setting up the table for a free team heal mid chase) but swf teams have never had so much stuff to abuse at once

  • I think its just that a lot of people have been looking forword to this event since last years ended. Several characters have released since then, and now they have a chance go build up cakes. Only this time they've intentionally nerfed the one thing everyone loves about the anniversary event., for the 2nd time in a row. And instead of just p100s getting their cake rates demolished, its everyone across the board. And the only feedback we got about any of that, was the same stuff they said last year "we've fixed the issue" without fixing the real problem.

Add that onto this event being talked about all year as "the biggest anniversary the've ever had" and then the gameplay ends up so lopsided (on either end for example people abusing legion and others with poison and people healing mid chase etc) that it is truly a miserable experience of an event.

And i dunno about everyone else but for the first time i have 0 incentive to get any anniversary outfits i can't seem to like a single one of them.

All this stuff has sent tensions through the roof as even veterans feel like they've been slapped hard enough to leave the game once and for all.

  • As for why not many p100s are complaining this year, is because of what they did last year. In year 8 i had 2 p100s and was able to collect cakes on my p100s just fine and then move on to prestiging new characters. There were like 3-5 cakes per bloodweb.

Then when year 9 rolled around they added auto leveling and p100s noticed in their lvl 50 bloodwebs theyd only get 0-1 cake each time. So the complaints started up asking why it happened and declaring it a bug etc, and then the devs went "ok we've fixed the problem :) you are now guaranteed only 1 cake per lvl 50 bloodweb" and then they shut the door, locked it, and left us to scream ignoring all feedback for p100s in every event since.

Now they've done the same to everyone, not just the p100s. So the complaints are much louder. But they've alredy said their "ok we've fixed the problem :)" (without fixing the problem) and locked the door leaving everyone to scream and ignore feedback. It happened again. And the players with p100s alredy lost hope about a year ago.

Its more likely more because them being Very Rare level makes them more likely to appear in the P100 characters bloodwebs thing that people complained in other events of not getting event offerings on them and in this one nobody has complained of that so it seems to be working.

Ill be the first then. Nothing changed since last year. But previous years you could get 3-5 cakes per lvl 50 bloodweb. Now u have to blow an entire lvl 50 bloodwebs worth of points per 1 cake. Which makes them extremely expensive and not worth gathering on p100s.

  • I was getting chased by a spirit and the random team managed to heal me mid chase over 5 times... and while playing dracula i had a bully squad that could heal everyone on the map constantly on command. With how busted that stufd is youd think poison would take a health state or deep wound atleast.

  • At the rate this is going, next year's anniversary might as well be 1 cake per prestige. And when we complain about the decrease there will be newer players aaying "why are you complaining? Just to start drama?" Its clear that the events have simply been getting degraded over time. Take last blood moon event for example. Somehow the first couple years of it were the best ones and then they got worse. With much less rewards.

I'm also not understanding why they are coming up with all these prestige rewards while doing everything they can to make it take longer to prestige.

Probably twitch drops. And in the future, if there's some additional stuff coming with cosmetic, it would say so in a tooltip when you hover over it…

It says the life road collection in the picture of me hovering over the banner. And the current twitch drops are the oni skin

  • I purchased both Shane and most of his outfits with just free shards. On day one of his release. Maybe they changed it later in the day. But i can confirm i got them with shards, including the Regalia

  • They did it about 5 times in a row while i was playing dracula. Sweatiest bully squad ive ever seen.

  • I luckily saw the complaints on the forum first so i havent spent my code.

  • Well ive cycled through several survivor mains over the years. At first it was Cybil (cheryl legendary) because she was the favorite character from silent hill. Because i found her to be hot and a strong character in the series. When she took her helmet off in the movie i was like "Dayum!"

Next it was Rebecca Chambers. At first i wasn't that interested in her in the resident evil games, but when she came to dbd something changed and i was quite excited about her joining. Shes also the only resident evil survivor that looks like their original model from the first resident evil remake/zero while all others are later remake versions which are harder for me to like since they stuck with the same models for years for several games and then changed them all. (For example i can't stand the new Jill)

After that it was Trevor Belmont. But in all honesty Trevor is my least favorite character in the castlevania franchise. Especially that version of him which was a character you don't play as the main character of that 1 game, hes a reoccuring boss fight with an annoying personality, that you unlock as a new game+ game mode to play as. And i would have loved to have Simon Belmont or Shanoa atleast as legendary skins because the cosplays are a suckerpunch to the soul. I suppose i mained him anyway for Soma and Alucard since i did play through allll 26 games.

After that was Lara Croft because I like many others during her prime - found her to be pretty hot as thats generally what sold the franchise apart from its explorative/action gameplay. When they changed that to survival lara however, I wasn't that interested anymore. Mained her anway for the sake of remembering the old version, and the "Iconic Lara" outfit made that much easier (even though it shrunk her chest compared to the base skin).

After Lara it was Aestri / Baermar as at first I was kinda confused why rhe first Elf in the game ended up being bulky and shaped bigger than most of the men in the game while having some of the ugliest cosmetics ever made. If they were going to add an Elf id have imagined them being slender/pretty etc, something like Shadowheart from baldurs gate 3. Eventually enjoyed playing as her anyway as the voice acting was good and the perks were fun to use, and i enjoy playing as anything but human characters whenever the option comes up. Like ill avoid tons of space exploration games just because you are always humans everytime. Shes also the closest thing we will get to a Baldurs gate 3 chapter.

Since then its been tough trying ro find a survivor i like enough to prestige, as you can see those were all licenses^. Shane Wiigwaas is now the next in line for p100, as I was a big fan of a game/comic, horror/action series called Turok back in the 90s/2000s and that got me somewhat interested in Indigenous culture. So far hes pretty cool and the closest i'll get to a Turok chapter as that series died many years ago and has a reboot coming by new devs that made the game nothing like the originals so I alredy know it won't go far.

  • I put 1 prestige into shane manually, i ended up with about 14 cakes total, after 2 prestiges i had 22 cakes. Hard to believe they nerfed it so bad last year, only to make it worse now somehow. Best of luck trying to collect cakes on a p100 this time. I'll hold onto my bp code till either the cakes finally get fixed back to common or the very last day of the code... because as of now its like going to a birthday party and you are only allowed to eat 1 tiny cupcake and go home.

This is what I dont understand, I used to buy DLCs, sometimes they came with like a extra generic stuff (remember one in Jonah release)

Really odd they rather players use iri shards.

Infact i had a couple games in the steam cart waiting for shane's dlc to buy it all in one go. And then... he just shows up in the games store for free.. so i got him and half his outfits for shards. Its like the one game where we're like "why didn't you make me pay for it?"

Here's a better answer: I appreciate you waiting for all the moving parts to do their thing: We are investigating reports of issues related to the spawn rate of the Toothy Torte in the Bloodweb. We'll provide an update as soon as we know more.

I appreciate you being here and helping us feel like our feedback is being heard. That being said the general issue everyone is having is not a bug, not an error, its not reports on spawn rates. It is the fact that the rarity change to the cakes has made them much harder to obtain across the board. especially on p100 characters who have to spend an entire lvl 50 bloodweb to aquire 1 cake making them very expensive, slow to collect, and not worth trying for. This event is one of the most played in the game because its about farming cakes for allllllll your characters and to aquire enough to last the rest of the year or more. The rarity of these cakes being changed completely nerfs everyones ability to collect cakes across all characters, p100s or not.

So primarily what everyone is asking for is to send feedback that we would like the rarity of cakes to be reduced back to common like previous years.

  • I'm not sure how they are expecting to make more money off the chapter when they are forcing more people to resort to shards rather than pay for it. Can still get auric cells but why would anyone use that when thr character itself is cheaper in shards than a cosmetic

  • Please make the cakes easier to get. Its the whole reason we are here. Ever since p100 was forced to get only 1 cake per bloodweb last year, it has made p100s not worth playing during events since they get offerings about 1/10th as quickly as everyone else for 10x the price.

  • Some were wondering about the last of us, im still confused about scary movie 6 featuring the game with a 1 sided collaberation with no content for the game, and them teasing that message to Rhea Ripley has my wrestling fan friend waiting to find out what that was even about.

Aside from that they mentioned a new livestream to go over changes to the game that havent been talked about yet like quality of life n stuff, no date just "during the summer" or something. Maybe more reveals then. And a new interview revealed they are working on more prestige rewards.
