It would only increase Cypress mories.
Slots will still be Yellow/Brown it's just instead of a brown sachet you get a brown toolbox, or brown addon.

Such a flawed system. I wish they would rework them already! I'd rather get more addons, items, and more useful offerings than these. Especially the brown ones.
Not only that, luck offerings are more than useless right now too.
Hopefully there will be some sort of overhaul to the offering system soon!
At one point they were only 25/50% and then they bumped them, but it just isn't enough imo. Killers & survivors would love to have the chance of more items/higher bp offerings, removing all the fillers for Brown/Yellow would help increase Cakes/Puddings & Items of those same rarities.
-
The blood point offerings besides Cakes/Puddings/BPS are a filler for the bloodweb and mostly pointless.
As an example, Fragrant Bog Laurel Costs 5,000 to buy from the blood web (100% More in Objective), so even if you max out Objectives (8.000) you're only getting 3,000 more BP
8,000 + 8,000 - 5,000 (The Cost of the Offering) = 11K
Additionally,
Bog Laurel Sachets are only 50%, but at a cost of 3,000
So 8,000 + 4,000 - 3,000 (The Cost) = 9,000
With the way the offerings work there's actually cases where it costs you for the offering and using it wont obtain you the points back you spent to have the offering, they're silly, they should remove the 50/75% ones and give survivors/killers more items/addons/100% offerings on the web instead.

Just wanted to emphasize/add to my initial idea. Make charms unlockable via challenges in future Archives and have charms such as 'Pro Technician' and 'Expert Botanist' for Survivors give them an according buff and make more Killer Charms do the same for their tasks. Perhaps the Nurse Horse gives a slight speed bonus to the Killer and the Eyes emit an Aura to the owner or something. I feel the charms are ludicrously pointless right now and should do something besides make hips and hooks look fancy. There is potential there👍
Makes Charms pay to win, would not be a good move.
-
Nope, far too easy to abuse.
-
Killers have ran out of things to complain about because it's all been nerfed into the ground, now it's time to ask for everything to be re-nerfed because killers still haven't gotten any better despite all the positive changes for them.
If a 5 seconds stun is the difference between you "winning" and "losing" you were probably playing pretty terribly to begin with, honestly.
I rarely have DS used against me, it's super easy to avoid, and of course there is always going to be some games that go badly for you, but if anyone posted a video of a killer slugging everyone within 3 minute players would say it's fine and that the survivors were bad.

Sorry, I just have little sympathy for someone who abuses game design but gets mad at a perk for working as intended.

https://clips.twitch.tv/CogentWiseHamsterWutFace
The fact that you can down and hook 2 different survivors across the map and get DS's by a third survivor should tell you that there is at least SOMETHING wrong with the perk. You should not need to keep a 60 second stop watch for every survivor, that's just poor design to be frank. There should be something else, very clear for the killer, of when this perk is not active.
DS cancelling out when another survivor is hooked after the DS user has been unhooked is a VERY popular suggestion because at that point it's a clear case of the Killer not tunneling, but I have yet to see a BHVR member address it. Can you please tell us how this would be disruptive to the purpose of the perk design?
I love how you use this clip of umbra abusing wall clipping to show off how "op" DS is lmao.
-
There is nothing developers can do about tunneling & camping, as much as people dislike it, there's nothing to be done.
At the point a killer decides to camp they've already agreed with themselves that they're unlikely to get many points or "win" any negative penalty given to a killer is therefore null.
You'll just have to deal with the minimal amount of killers that do camp, I've heard it's worse on console but again, nothing developers can do.
-
I've always liked the idea that your Devotion level raises your BP Cap by 50K for every level.
It would reward people who play a lot by allowing them to save more BP that they can then spend on new DLCs to make it easier to play with the new perks etc.
-
@Pulsar said:
It isn't an anti-tunnel perk. It is an anti-momentum perk. I have thought that for quite some time, as slugging a Survivor is not the same as picking them up and hooking them.
The only changes I would like to see are three main things.
1.) The timer ends when you hook someone else.
2.) The timer does NOT end if you are slugged.
3.) The timer ends when you are fully healed.
- There are several times when I've been able to down both survivors at the hook for pure convenience, me hooking the unhooker, and then the first one if still tunneling imo, that person should have the chance to get away if they are running the perk especially as someone has traded.
- I take it you don't play this game as in some situations towards end game slugging is the only option, this would just mean any downed survivor at end game would be free to crawl out, it would literally be a free escape
- Why? Some healing perks, such as We'll Make It makes healing quick enough as to where the killer wont make it back before you heal, if they go after the person that was healed, it's still tunneling.
-
Never had an issue with DS after the nerf
It's only 5 seconds, and I rarely even have it used against me unless it's end game and theres only like two people left so I'm bound to run into it, but at that point I have so much momentum that it doesn't matter.
DS Is fine, gone are the days where it would be used on you half way to a hook, or after your first down.

Here's my most recent, sorry for the blurry-ness, had to grab it from a VOD.

Same to you. I mentioned it in stream, he told me that then that he wasn't at work or anything. I told him sorry for bringing it up on his off day then dropped it. So, good job attempting to upset me when you have no idea what happened.
No imagination here.
You explained it quite clearly, you made a thread and got a super impressive 75 updoots, and wondered to yourself "why aren't the devs addressing my 75 updoots!" You then decided the appropriate action was to go to the devs twitch stream and question him on why you weren't given any attention, and then call him out on the forums as if he needs to give you an explanation as to why he didn't reply.

Just speculating here:
- supposedly a killer can expect the odds are high that they can sacrifice at least 2 survivors, thus supposedly avoiding the frustration of all 4 survivors escaping most of the time
- supposedly a survivor at the outset of a match has a 50% chance of escape, with those odds being affected either negatively or positively as the match progresses.
- Supposedly trying to ensure that EITHER side gets SOMETHING positive out of MOST matches.
- Neither killer, nor survivor want to feel like they’re constantly and reliably entering pointless matches.
Sounds about right.
I'm more intrigued as to what Mr SpaceCoconut wants the game to be balanced around, does he think balancing the game around 3K/4K is the better way?
Why does he not think that 2Ks with the potential to be below that and above that sounds fair?
Sounds like they're trying to make a game that is fun and not a game where you're more likely to fail/win.

Borrowed time is in the unique position among perks to where it's almost 100 percent uncountable in scenarios where you would need to counter it..and if rumors are true that the devs will change the dw parameters to distance base..well..then it truley will have 0 counters
the counter is hitting the other player that is doing the saving?
If you're close enough to the hook to be activating borrowed time you're usually there to see what's going down, so chase the dude that doesn't have BT activated on him.
-
I don't understand what your point is, though?
You weren't playing spirit so whether she is nerfed or not played no part in your match.

They've only said it on like..a dozen posts XDD and yes hook suicides shouldnt count as it skews the true data and you very well know it...but it's not healthy to argue with someone that isnt willing to take that kind of thing into account..you know its thin the data to be far more accurate and the fact you yourself said that speaks volumes in itself
a dozen posts that you can't link to? If you wont provide a sorce you're just lying.
Of course, you ignore the whole point, how do you define a true hook suicide, and I doubt it's enough to skew the data enough to a point where killers are less than 50% but you and Iboth know that but anything to grasp at straws and pretend killer is hard.
XDD
Killers: I'm such a good player survivors suicide on the hook enough to skew data
Also Killer: Why is killing survivors so hard?

Actually, what I want is for emblems to be reworked so that if 2 kills is the average, expected result of most matches, that I pip regularly for doing that. But normally I need 3 or more to be able to get that. Especially if someone DCs, or if (which is unusual), I do too well and kill everyone too fast. Like I don't want the old killer cube back, that was horrible. But I want something better then what killers have. I find it much MUCH easier to pip as a survivor and I don't even need to survive. Get an unhook, do a gen, get chased by the killer; BAM pip'ed!
The emblems don't matter to me anymore, I've been rank 1 every season on both sides for two years.
I'll give you my 2cents though, a safety pip means you did well enough to stay in your ranking bracket, a pip up means you should rank up. If you're already at rank 1, why would you be constantly needing to get pips, that's how I've always seen it.

So in other words you dont want to acknowledge reality..devs themselves even said the data isnt accurate soooo..yeah..bye
You really think hook suicides is enough to skew data 15/20%? Even so kill rates across the board would stll be above 50%
And you have to accept how ridiculous it would be to "cut out hook suicides" how do you think you reliable do that? If somone lets go 5 seconds before they die, that's a hook suicide, if they let go at any point it's a hook suicide.
Again, killers want these stats to be as thin as possible which is laughable, they removed DCs, now it's hook suicides, next it'll be games with less than 5 gens done.
Insane, it is you whom can't face reality, also do you have a source on "the stats aren't accurate" I'd be very interested in reading that.
Killers: =O Someone died in the match... STATS RUINED!

Killers will find any excuse to make sure the data seems "flawed".
Next killers will want only games where 2+ survivors survived to prove that "survivors are op" lmao.

I didnt even think of a dcer making it basically a guranteed 3k because they left unless once someone dcs they throw the entire game out. But yeah that would explain some of the kills.
IT was clarified that if a match had a single dc the entire match was ignored, it's not "someone DCing making the match easier".
It just is that easy to kill with him.

Why do people think like this? lmao.
They've had a system in place for well over a year for releasing skins, it obviously works, why would there ever be a delayed skin for a system that's been working for so long, as an added note just incase you weren't aware, the archive system is only a month old so yea, when you change things to do with a new system it's likely going to cause more delays.

Sadly a lot of people don't want to pay for art. There are so many people asking for free art because they do not acknowledge the work.
In the store are a lot of skins available for shards, which basically is "for free" if you play a lot. But people still want them for less.
I think it is totally fine how it is now.
From what I've seen, the entire December line up of skins is iridescent shard buyable, besides the licensed stuff.
But we'll have to see how that pans out, either way I buy with cells because I think they're worth it.

If survivor queues are longer than killer queues then it means that more people are playing survivors than nessecary. A killer finding survivors faster than survivors finding a killer is a consequence of a higher survivors:killer ratio than 4:1.
The current issue has nothing to do with amount of players.
It's just the match making system.
Survivors queues weren't gradually getting longer, they went from instant to 10 - 15 minutes per queue when the changes were put in the makes SWF play against the highest rank they can.
If this was a "player leaving" situation you'd expect the build up to be gradual. Killer lobbies went from 5 - 10 minutes to instant, and survivor the opposite in the space of a patch.
-
The rift would be far easier to complete if the survivor queues weren't borked, I can play 2 - 3 killer matches in the time it takes me to do one survivor match.
I feel like the devs made the rift not anticipating this issue with queue times and subsequently anyone playing Survivor is getting much less XP while also driving more survivors over to playing killer which is also messing up queues a lot more.

Not sure if it is low reward. The thing is, I always asked myself why wiggling is a thing at all because it nearly never rescues you. Just think how much it would change the outcome if lets say every fifth hook is denied. There are at most 12 hooks in the game. Adding one or two per game would be like "Do 6 gens". Which is like applying Pop goes the weasle 4 times (with full effect). That is quite a bit. So I would not underestimate the effect. If you manage to sabo the right hook in time it is already a huge effect, but hard to achieve (for a good reason). I think sabo squads might be revived at least for some time when this perk goes live
Wiggling exists to stop killers carrying you around indefinitely

What ranks are you playing? From the screenshots you show it looks like you also missed to add Selfcare to your meta list. I see more games with 4 DS than games with no DS. I even see more games with at least one DS/Unbreakable combo than without DS
If you read my comment you'd know what rank o was playing at lmao. Self care is not meta anymore at all, regardless my statement has t changed all meta perks are 2 years old because every good survivor perk is only mediocre good
-
P3 - Level 50 - All Killers + Most maxed besides demo, and the ones that aren't maxed are only missing demos perks.
P3 - Level 50 All Survivors (besides Steve) are. Maxed ones are Nancy, Nea, Feng, Kate & Jake
-
But the second graph is literally only red ranks.
you killers can interpert the results as much as you want but every time the devs have released stats the kill rate has ALWAYS been above 50%.
Except last time the results (according to killers) wasn't accurate because it involved DCs, now that every killer is basically 60-70% the stats don't prove anything (according to killers) because y'all want super specific results to try and make killers look less powerful than they are.
Again, the only people complaining about the stats is killers, I've seen two dozens posts from killers "this doesn't prove anything" in the past two days, and one survivor post titled something like "this proves killers are wrong".
The game ain't hard, on either side, and it hasn't been for a while.
I'm almost 100% positive if the stats said the survival rate was 70% y'all would be screaming for more survivors nerfs.
Here's the last stats, you can see how little an increase the survival rate is based on how many are in a game, 4-mans only increase survival rate by 7%.

Again I'm not surprised many of you don't have an issue with this bad method of plaything because you've grown accustomed to and benefited from it.
But why is it expected of me to let you get away after I've already hooked you when within my sights but you can loop, gen rush body block and whatever else. I expect them to play the game how it was intended and throw the pallet down and go off to do something else. Not run around in circles because they know the programming doesn't allow for me to catch up to them. You can get away after being found .
You're really trying to bait hard here.
I never said I had an issue with your playstyle, I was questioning what you expect survivors to do, you seem to be an expert on this topic, tell us great killer, what do you want survivors to do to prolong the game so you don't 4K every match?
Again, my point still stands, only bad killers camp or expect survivors to "not get found", "just juke", "don't get hit".
