Playing devil's adovacte thats not always a possibility. What if its a really close game and gens are going fast but the killer is finally picking up steam at the end and the surviore are pressured and when the killer is chasing someone the other 3 escape. Is that still fair? The game wasn't over
I'm not arguing whether it's fair or not, but if all 4 survivors are still alive, they have all gens done and they all jump out the hatch you probably played poorly anyway.
and also, aren't all killers weak? There's no way you could possibly snowball with all gens done, we all know once gens are done game = over. At least that's what the forum would lead yo to believe.

That's a you problem, additionally, you can kick it closed between jumps, so instead of acting salty go and close it in front of them and kill them.

Sometimes people do seem to forget that the killers are supposed to be stronger. The game is not supposed to be in the survivors favour from the beginning, that's why you can search through chests etc, to raise your chances.

Either way, one hook with Pop removes the equivalent of a bnp, run that and you'll be fine, game is easy on both sides.

They put up quite the fight, I was desperately defending the last gen from being done with PGTW.
My last significant game was fairly enjoyable, I only noticed the one key because the person last second switched to it.
I also hate Myers so I was pretty proud, ofc - just bad survivors though.

Which are about the tomes, which is part of the archive, that IS FREE. Second of all you don't NEED to complete these challenges to progress in either path of the rift, THIRDLY the last tome only nets you 7 whole tiers, it's not the end of the world.
You can see exactly what you're getting before you even pay, you can get to any level you want, if you complete the pass you could by it on day 70 and guarantee you get what you want.
I really don't see what there is to complain about besides you're upset that some challenges might be extra hard (and I've already said I don't agree with them) but you certainly haven't paid for any of it soooo....???

Do you mean the archives? I know you're confused about certain things but I'll put it in layman's terms.
Rift = Free, but has an unlockable track for 1,000 cells (Hint, you can buy the pass after you've completed it, or you get up to a point where you think 1,000 cells is worth it)
Archives = A set of challenges that can help you boost yourself on the rift in the free & premium pass, you also get bloodpoints & lore about characters (Hint, you don't actually have to complete ANY of these challenges to progress in the rift, tome 4 only nets you 7 tiers anyway)
I hope that helps, feel free to spread this information with other people who can't tell the difference between something that is free and something that is paid for, have a lovely night.

I'll tell you what: Here is a burnt piece of toast. Wait, what's that? You don't want to eat it? You can't say it will taste awful. That's just speculation on your part.
You buy access to the premium track. The premium track is tied to the archives. The archives are tied to challenges to complete them. The challenges are tied to the base game. Without these, you would literally be purchasing nothing. The whole archives thing is literally an advertisement for the premium rift. It's not as black and white as you're trying to make it sound as they all tie back to each other. The Rift and premium track is advertised almost every waking moment in the menus, in the archives, before a match and after a match.
Finally, this whole notion that the battle pass is optional is also false. Because I sure as ######### do not enjoy having a Jake Park running around like his head is cut off literally trying to disturb every stupid crow in the map so he could further himself in his battlepass rather than doing something actually productive to the survivor objective in the game? So if it's so optional as you claim, please tell me where the hell I can go to avoid people like that from getting my matches? Where's the option to stop being reminded that this system exists every moment that isn't in the middle of the match?
I didn't read your entire comment because I didn't need to, but you haven't bought the archives at all, it was all free, you may have paid for the rift but you're getting confused, doesn't surprise me really.
While the archives do boost you on the rift, they are still separate, you can complete the archives without ever putting money into the game, I think some of you need to realise this, regardless of whether you care about the rift or not, you'd have still been trying to do the archives challenges because they are fun, what you're mad about hasn't been sold to you "incomplete" because you haven't bought it.

Fortnite have Store, Battle Pass and one mode for real money.
Fortnite is a billion dollar franchise they can afford to throw extra money at people that do go all out to complete a pass because there is likely more people that buy it than get close enough to getting the money back.

Speaking of feedback Last Minute Hero appears to be too difficult at first glance. I can't remember the last time I saw one survivor unhooked 3 others during endgame.
Not to mention it has to be safe, and I'm not blaming killers but during end game you usually don't go for the unhooker, you go for the unhooked because they're injured, the doors are open, you have to put pressure on something.

they already give you the 1000 auric cells back, which will be enough to get the next pass. If no one spends the 1000 auric cells they get back you could theoretically buy every pass they bring out from here on.
It's more than fair.

You don't need the pass, if it isn't for you, or not your style you don't need it, it's only cosmetics and you'll still progress in the free track.

Completing 4 gens on your own with Dark Sense is an impossible challenge. Killing 4 survivors in the basement is impossible, this is pure greed. They don't want us to finish the rift. They want us to put even more money in the game.
Where is the logic in this?
The tome 4 challenges equal a whopping 7 tiers, I think you'll be fine without getting them.

Do you really think most developers work on a game for 8 - 12 hours a day and then go home and play that game for 5/6 hours a day?
Sure, there are some devs that play their games, but they certainly don't play it as much as their hardcore fan base.
Maybe the pass just isn't for you then? It's clearly aimed at people who already grind the game out.

This argument is ridiculous.
Developers are very rarely the best players of their own games, while I don't agree with some of the challenges in Tier 4 of the tome they are aimed at people who have 1,000s of hours in the game, to expect someone to develop a game and also be the best at the game and do everything that hardcore players do is silly.

I don't get how people keep misunderstanding this.
It literally says "By any means", which clearly implies there is multiple ways of doing it, not just the mori animation way, seems pretty obvious to me =/

It's not much to be excited for.
It's only for Steam & Windows versions of the game, as of which the windows version only just came out so I doubt many are even playing that version.

You don't need these challenges to complete the rift, sure they are hard and I don't agree with some of them but pretending the Rift wont be beatable without completing these challenges is a little hyperbolic.
This level of the tome offers 75 Rift fragments, that's only 7 rift levels, I went up two levels today in about 5 hours, you have 70 days so theoretically If I played an average of 5 hours a day I'd get 140 levels.
The rift is 100% possible without tome level 4, and there's still the other levels between it too.

Yea lets just all have braindead "Use this perk" "do this many gens" "escape as this person" challenges. That'll sure be fun and not at all the exact stuff you do day in, day out.

Cosmetics are always set to come out weekly. One set per week between patches, we got Myers & Laurie this week.
Nancy & Steve are scheduled for next week, if they don't come out next wednesday they'll be on another wednesday between now and the next chapter.

Scott indeed did have a 30+ 4K run with leatherface, but as you'll see on the forums everyone cries about how weak he is, it's almost as if when you're a good player you can do well regardless of what killer you play.

Every killer can do this, it all depends on who you play against and how the match plays out, the difference is the nurse can do this rather consistently.

None because I'm not 12 years old and I just move on and play the next game, I'd say less than 5% of my matches have a dc in them but even then I don't let it ruin my game because as I said, I'm not 12 and I don't let dumb things ruin my fun.

The "Bang For Your Buck" Pass.
I'm tired of spending 10$ per outfit (I'm not).
So getting multiple outfits, charms etc, for the same price, plus my Auric Cells back is definitely some bang for my buck.

How long did it take?
You get 70 days in total to complete the pass, you level up just by playing, but can speed up the process by completing challenges.
