Unless it's hyper focus/bnp which has op synergy, then you either got out perked or outplayed.

Shelter Woods and Suffocation Pit both need reworks again. Suffo Pit (and Azarov's Resting Place) have that annoying middle section that are always hell to loop as Killer, then the top and bottom have next to nothing, then Shelter Woods just has nothing at all.
Funny you say that because while shelter woods is killer sided, the other two you mentioned are both survivor sided vs efficient survivors. Unless you have terrible rng. But also people overstate shelter woods because just like the other two it can have a ton of pallets depending on rng.

Not the same thing, killers with actuall skills still do very well in any map, while there is nothing survivors can do witj a fave camper that needs 0 skills and just stands there waiting for his reward for doing nothing
Genuinely if someone is camping someone to death from the start of the game, getting all but maybe one gen done is childs play. There is no reward if the survivors don't walk up on the killer. I'm saying this as a killer that very rarely will camp the last 10 to 20 seconds to second stage or death hook. You or your team is playing inefficient if you don't like that I don't know what to tell you. People always talking about camping but while it is unfun it's easily beatable, while on the other hand tunneling someone out of the game fast vs a team that is not prepared for it is a win. Though that takes a killer that is capable of doing so and not many are capable of that, depending on the map.
-
As others have said, even the closest 3 gen vs hag is beatable. If that is the case then plague is a nothing.

Definitely depends. You should do so if the killers play style allows it. If you are going against an insta down or multi injure killer you should never do this. Or if you are going against a killer who doesn't kick gens(me) then there is also no reason to commit to it. I have seen so many teams commit to a gen vs me and lose just off of that.

As per title. 6.2.0 has been a really unfun patch for me and frankly the last actual DLC that was interesting to me was Pinhead and Mikaela. I just want more mid-chapters and with how stale and boring the game is (especially when you're vsing the 166th wesker with Coulrophobia Distressing who sends himself to gideon) I'm personally just quitting till the next mid-chapter drops.
Anyone else feeling like the game is super stale?
Considering how long survivor meta was the exact same, how did you last this long?

I just played a match as Trapper on ormond and I brought the add on that allows me to start with all my traps. I started the match trapping out all doors to the main building and brought the offering to put the basement in the main building. So basically, I defended the main building and brought any downed survivor to the basement. I also proceeded to reset any disarmed traps and refused be brought to the corner of the map with the shack. Behold… a forced 3-gen scenario. This match proceeded to last over 30 minutes with an eventual 4K. I’m entertained but at the same time, i know it was super boring for them…
please share your “I created an unfun match” stories please. I didnt realize what I created until I was in the middle of it and felt the need to commit to what I started.
generally I’m a survivor main so I’m not super familiar with all the mess killers actually do.
stories stories stories please. I like stories
if you have come to this post to complain about killers, this post is one you can pass on. I simply want match stories
Every game I lose, at least one survivor is tea bagging me at the exit gates.
Oh ok so instead of lethal, bbq and shadowborne, you want me to run dms, pain res, discordance with iri tag/ green speed. Sorry I didn't bring 4 green med kits and a cold win offering.
God just went against a 4 man on fractured with a person that was most defiantly using auto DH. Some people will pre throw the entire game and still think they played well.

Then you are the problem. If you have a problem with some part of the game, take it up with devs respectfully. If you take it out on the other players by disconnecting, suiciding on hook, AFKing, sandbagging, etc, you are the problem in that game.
Blatant cheater holding a game hostage? Sure. Game-breaking bug like being permanently stuck in a hill? Sure.
Because you dislike the map? Because you dislike the other side's build(s)? Because you dislike the other side's character(s)/cosmetic(s)? Because you dislike something that happened in the game (eg, downed early/flashlight saved/gens done quickly/etc)? Because of literally any other non-cheater/game-breaking bug reason? You are the problem.
There's a really, really easy solution if you hate facing a part of this game that badly. Don't queue up.
By DCing/suiciding/AFKing/sandbagging/etc, you are actively ruining this game for the other 4 players just because you are incapable of handling facing some part of this game. Sure, you paid for this game for your own fun and aren't responsible for others, blah blah blah. But guess what? If every single person gave up the second they faced a part of the game that wasn't how they wanted it, you would not be getting to play out any games either.
Want to take up what you see as an issue with devs respectfully? Sure, go for it. All the power to you. When you're in a game? Either suck it up buttercup, or don't queue up at all. If you care that little about the experience of anyone except yourself, go play a single player game and don't ruin the game for the people that are mature enough to play through a match they queued up for.
Every other game will suspend you or even ban you for the amount of dc's some survivors perform in this game. It's truly baffling that people find it ok.

Also killer players: punish the DC'ers/Suiciders!
How about we give solo survivors (I doubt you see many SWF quitting) "incentives" for keeping playing - the incentive is called F U N btw. which this game is seriously lagging since 6.1.0.
Very terrible take. It's ok that I dc because I don't like the game state, then as suzu said don't play the game.

its planed liked that. bhvr want a killrate over 50%. that means your survivor mmr has to go down and you end up in yellow perk range. the more you play the faster it gets down. now you are in hell and die even more.
Nah. Because the uneven sides in queue survivors get the short end of the stick, just as killer's die before 6.1.0. Now you guys get backed filler terrible survivors and killers get worse survivors on average.

10% is not a little.
But the current (and always) game problem is that if killer able to down a survivor early then camp/tunnel, the result will be at least 2-3k no effort.
Which cause survivors feel they always have to gen rush.
So what your saying is that people camping and tunneling under the right circumstance(efficiency) causes the survivors to play efficiently? There is no such thing as gen rush.

Right, but if I increase your pay by 10%, your hours by 10%, your bonuses by 10%, and reduce your bill payments by 10% and taxes by 10%, you have a crapton more money in your pocket each year, don't you? It all adds up. Those dials should have been tweaked maybe one or two at a time, not all at once.
What really happens was all of these things at once on top of the perks. Basically, survival now requires a killer to be absolute trash as he can sleep his way to a 4k in most games.
Other than the +10 seconds on each gen the only killer's that got massively affected were m1 killers. And guess what if the survivors are good m1 killers will struggle still. Thinking that killers have to be bad to not get a 4k now shows either your skill level at the game or the amount of bad teammates you get due to mmr. Genuinely a good(rarity on both sides in this game) solo team can walk over most killers in this game on a decent map. Not to mention the fact that there are way more survivor sided maps than killer ones. Survivor's really overexaggerate the current state of the game. What does solo queue need? Base game info to help them out and mmr being more consistent. People forget that survivors way of getting mmr is much less accurate compared to killers, and that leads to people who shouldn't be in your games being there.
You are either downplaying potential survivor skill expression or overstating killer power. Are blight and nurse op? Yes but they are the killer equivalent of swf.

Hello, just played couple of matches with Hag and I'm starting to get more and more of these end-game chat "rages"... I made a screenshots of the second match, I didn't in the first.
I'm playing Hag really "fair" (as survivors consider), I don't put traps under the hooks, I don't camp or tunnel, just picked up 3 gens and trap around them, making the web from the beggining.
2 Survivors was able to do 2 gens while other 2 were constantly going around my web, "playing with traps" and tried to get me into the chase. Then all 4 survivors made out to my web, and thats where the match was pretty over.
The match end up really badly for survivors, I did gave one of them hatch.
The map was: Coldwind Farm. Because of a Heart locket.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/XBLSGP3ZYL48/1.png
In the end-chat, both matches I was getting these:

https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/M68UFIO9XBGK/3.png
Just wanna ask... Is this a "skill issue" of the survivors? Too much of op killer? Or just casual outrage?
Yes, I was hiding my traps in the grass, but some of them were pretty in the open, they've seen them and still was getting hit by them.
I just don't understand how Hag is so "irritating" to play against comparing her to other "irritating" killers like Nurse.
If they are losing to anyone other than blight and nurse running the strongest stuff they can, they are not good and are getting carried by their builds. Hag is extremely hard to play against in solo queue but even a decent swf with previous hag experience can completely destroy her web. You don't need flashlights there is a radius in which you are fine if you know the trap is there. Again 100% their fault they lost this game.

The snitching on teammates, the working with killer, the point farming, the toxic behavior, the hiding for 20 minutes because neither survivor can touch a gen without killer knowing,
it all stems from the completely broken and unplayable end game mehcanic when 2 survivors are left and nothing can be done until 1 of them dies and you try for hatch or exit gate.
I just had a game where a teammate and me were healing at the end, killer terror radius started, i hide in a locker, and teammate starts spam opening the locker I am in, to get me killed. Killer hooks me, lets the traitor go. How pissed off do you think I was?
BHVR, this needs to be your #1 priority. Drop everything and fix this
I mean this could use some improvements but in reality one of the two survivors should go offer themselves and die, the game is over stop wasting time.

Yup, pretty much a case of, adapt....until you adapt too much and become competent. Besides, with all the gen regression perks, aura reading perks, exposure perks and killers being given a boost to their base....don't you feel 'pampered'?
Let me be clear, I don't have an issue with the changes made, I never used the 'meta' perks, i do well with a utility build, and I can learn to work around the new changes to killer. I'm just unsurprised and frankly uninspired that not even a month or so in and we're back to "Developers baby survivors and killers don't get a fair shot"
Perhaps change the record and do what we as survivors have been told to do since these changes became apparent.
I mean if he really is playing an m1 killer in high mmr, what can he do? You get pretty much any coldwind map you are screwed. The survivors just have to split and play efficiently. If all survivors are playing optimally how does an m1 killer deal with it. Survivors can and will bring everything at their disposal to win. If survivors are genuinely good players on good maps then there is no reason to go down to a good portion of the low-mid tier cast before 3 gens pop, that's just how it is.
Though to be clear at least for the last 6 months, bhvr has not been pampering survivors. Though also to be fair they were for the 6 months before that lol.

Ok that is understandable, it seems I misinterpreted your initial post.

It's been an absolute terrible day for playing survivor, mostly because I'm just trying to do some Tome challenges, and I'm finding out I really hate any challenge that requires interation with another survivor.
I've been attempting the Engineer's Guild literally all day, and it's been a massive headache trying to complete the equivalent of 8 gens across different matches because survivors have been just offing themselves first hook or DCing, and killers haven't been letting up off the gas whatsoever, treating each match like they're setting records for a time trial.
I legitimately hate that I'd much rather be in a match full of bots because I know thar I'd enjoy myself far more immensely than with the current playerbase.
Not to be that guy, but shouldn't you be playing a single player game instead then? You cannot blame people for trying their hardest, and you can't blame new survivor's who randomly got dumped into your game for being terrible.

I had a game just 10min ago where everything went okay, I was playing Wesker on Azarovs Restingplace and hooked everyone a couple of times and the first one died after 2 gens were done.
But then the Mikaela that I was chasing down and nearly cornered pointed at a locker and low and behold, an Ace slowly emerged. I shook my head and remembered the old saying "snitches get stitches" and killed that Mikaela off. I cornered the two remaining survivors pointing at each other and thought that they were cute and trying to determine who should be sacrificed. In the end I let Ace go and gave him hatch. In the post game chat everyone was still there and quite agitated that I let Ace go, who apparently had not touched a single gen, but even sand bagged his other team mates.
Thinking about it, that Mikaela could only have called that Aces locker if he had entered that before I started chasing her, so I guess that I gave a troll the hatch. Then we had a smal discussion if what happened was a bannable offense and here I could confidently explain what was and wasn't such an offense :)
So tl,dr: I was sad that I apparently gave the bad apple the hatch, but in the end it doesn`t matter too much
If that scenario happens to me but It's on a survivor that I haven't seen the entire game I will pull them right out of that locker. If it's at the beginning of the game it is scummy but when I see one of the last 2 survivors standing pointing at a locker, I know the person in the locker hasn't been playing the game.

Personally I never nod as survivor because I can crouch or point to somehow "communicate" something to another survivor.
As killer I nod if I get a clean chainsaw hit as Billy (from across the map) or when as Deathslinger I shoot someone and I'm slowly reeling them in.
I slowly nod, I won't bump up my DPI to a billion to nod like a maniac. Slow but good 🙂
I typically don't nod unless the survivor does first, as it can be taken as toxic. Which is sad because I would like to nod to a survivor I just hooked after a good chase.

Nah, if a survivor purposely puts themselves in a position where they know they cannot be hooked, they should expect the slug. He did the right thing, slugged the survivor who purposely went back into a hook dead zone then went to find the other survivor.
That survivor then ran to the dead zone. This was most likely because they knew getting the first one up was their only hope at that point, but they were downed before they had the chance. The first bled out (which was effectively their choice by going back into the dead zone originally) and the killer then hooked the last survivor (after a bit of struggle).
If he had bled both out, without giving the last survivor a chance (a slim as it may have been) that would have been a bit over the top.
I don't condone 4k bleed-outs, or bleeding a survivor out due to spite, giggles, or whatever, but if they intentionally try to make themselves impossible to hook, then they earned the slug as it's the only way the killer has to progress towards their objectives.
As far as the salt...a lot people in general have a tendency to throw the blame anywhere but themselves. Killers and survivors. It's been a minute since I've gotten a salty survivor, but my typical response is to calmly and briefly explain my PoV, and if they still insist on the salt, I simply wish them luck in their next match and immediately leave the lobby.
Yeah I bled someone out for the first time since april today, because they wanted to crawl to a comp corner in a deadzone as the last survivor

Try tunneling fast and hard 90% of your problems will be solved as Killer
Bro unless you are getting tunneled by blight, nurse or spirit It's a you a problem. If you are getting hard tunneled from the getgo against a m1 killer pre throw the entire map and you will probably be the only one dead by the end. While the three I mentioned can eventually catch you in a spot where you don't make it to a pallet m1 killer's can't. I don't get the sentiment that tunneling = auto win because it's really not. You have to 1 be going against the top killers and 2 have teammates who are not doing gens. There is a reason pre throwing and w is the comp strategy, it works.
I am not defending tunneling just stating an obvious fact.

--Another important tip that should be mandatory reading before you play solo q--
DO NOT immediately race your teammates for unhook!
You have a whole a** minute that could be spent finishing gens if the killer isn't on you!! 9/10 games as soon as someone is hooked (including me) I immediately see all 3 survivors sprint like it's the goddang daytona 500 to get the unhook and waste all that gen time. Kindred or no, gens come first. So stay on them as long as possible, especially if it's a first stage hook. Most of the time, the killer is proxying anyways and waiting to get a trade...Please don't give it to them.
To add to this though. Don't wait until there is 15 seconds left. The killer will camp that last 15 seconds if they are not in chase

It's almost like I stated it was op and lack decent counter play now. I was stating the reason for it's high usage. If you are playing nurse with those add-ons on the other hand you are going into the game to destroy. It would be like if I took iri tag alch ring or iri tag green speed.

Not really a needs to be fixed thing though, there's way more things in dbd that would take prio over dead hard. And adding validation back to dead hard like it used to have would be way worse. It was literally what you are talking about now but 10X worse from killer side.

Flashlights are annoying for me due to a sensitivity to light I have, but not quite annoying enough to run lightborne. Though if you are pre-dropping and blinding me at every pallet, expect tunnel.

Currently, I notice that while there are four survivors in the game, the generators have a chance to run out quickly, however, when a survivor dies, the generators seem to get tiresome to complete, not to mention that the killer has perks that pretty much deplete the gens quickly.
One idea I thought of is that when I had 4 survivors alive the generators would take longer to complete and get faster as the survivors died,
another idea then, as the survs died ,the gens would not regress to zero, but rather have a partial regression, example:
-if there are "4 "survivors alive: the generator regresses to zero (as it currently is)
-if there are "3" survivors alive: the generator stops regressing if the regress reaches 25%
-if there are "2" survivors alive: the generator stops regressing if the regress reaches 50%
-if there are "1" survivors alive: the generator stops regressing if the regress reaches 75%
This is just an idea people, I hope you understood, I don't know if I knew how to explain it,
My idea is to make repairs to generators less tiring and give survivors a chance to complete them even with fewer survivors in the game, there are many survs that are tunneled or that disconnect at the beginning of the game and the game ends up being unfair for the game. rest of the team
I'm also aware that some adjustments should be made to favor killers at the beginning of the game, so they don't suffer gen rush at the beginning of the game,
I wanted to hear from you if you have any ideas that could help with this?
Fine with me I haven't kicked a gen in 8 months.

I saw someone say Alch ring was balanced in a video once, I don't know how they came to that conclusion but I think it was a very misguided one.
I would like to take this thread to once again inform people of adrenaline vials downsides that you would never know unless you played with it.
Adrenaline vial is extremely good when put up against people who just want to pre drop pallets, that really is its best attribute. But along with it's decreased turn rate comes a lack of directional velocity and a worse ability to try and get collision due to the longer amount of time it takes for the rush direction to start turning. What I mean by "directional velocity"(I'm using Liliths terms here). Basically once you start the lunge phase of your lethal rush you are committed to that direction, meaning anyone who knows how to wiggle or spin can easily dodge you unless you get a shoulder flick. A shoulder flick is just using the large extremely short initial hitbox blight gets at the start of a lethal rush to guarantee a hit when blights hitbox is connected to the survivor. Any map with finicky collision becomes way harder if you are running this add-on. Now that's not to say that the combo of c33/adrenaline vial isn't extremely busted, but that's really just how op c33 is not adrenaline vial.

alch ring was more tolerable pre 6.1.0 now survs will gain negative distance with ti lol
I definitely think it was way more doable to go against alch ring before 6.1.0. That 10% less distance really take's away a lot of safety from survivor's now. When I use it, I do kinda feel bad because some maps depending on where you get hit just don't allow you to make it anywhere now. Though I also feel survivor's play against ring wrong, if you are trying to b-line it to a tile a good bit away knowing blight has alch-ring that was your mistake. Especially when you got hit at a long wall with the pallet still up. If you run into a blight with alch ring play the tile until you have a better understanding of the distance you can make on him before he catches up.
I also think survivors assume everyone uses alch ring/green speed because of the power level it gives but in reality its more like
Alch ring = rush more, more rush more fun. Green speed = rush faster, faster rush more fun. Though I am not saying this is all blights thinking or anything like that.
Neither of these statements were directed at the quoted posters, just piggy backing.

I already have my survivor experience stuck on low mmr because i dont escape 100 percent of the time and I have found probably 3 killers in the last month or more during my solo games who were good enough to challenge me, and killer is the only one I can play where I get a decent challenge.
Also I dont know what it is but after midnight people are potatoes, I play killer and they just play like babies every game and when I play survivor its the same.
can someone explain to me why im in this situtation? I thought this stuff was gonna be better now
Killer's are now in the scenario survivors used to be in. Due to the longer queue times for killer, survivor's from all over will just get pulled into lobbies after long enough. So if you are some how reaching 5 min queues expect potato's.

What was your longest match ever and not by people farming or new players I mean long because teammates didn't do much or just very little and so on.
Longest match for me happened a couple months ago I was facing a Legion on Ormond what happened was simple 1 gen left and Two survivors now everything would be fine until the Legion began slugging and not in the tactical way he saw another survivor so injured them to scare them off I mean the slugging people do for a 4k he would drop me and find the Kate.
So I would crawl usually to a corner or edge behind something to hide and bleed out(I still think bleeding out has killer lose bp) but he would come back and just make me wiggle off and down me again this went on for maybe four minutes now I usually let myself bleed out just so the other survivor has a chance of escaping but I couldn't because of the Legion.
This went on way longer then should have maybe five minutes I was getting bored but didn't want to dc so I did the next best thing I went afk so I could go to the store to get myself something to drink instead the store is three minutes away so I come back sic minutes later to see I'm still in the same match(wish I recorded the entire thing to show) but this Legion was hunting down Kate the entire time I was gone(she would hide in lockers) so I sit down to just heal and the Kate goes down and dies because this Legion still thinks I'm afk since I wasn't fully healed.
The Kate dies and I hear the hatch go to it and jump in.
From the start of the match to the end of the match it must have take almost 20 minutes just finish it(it was a Legion so a lot of mending).
Midwitch match that should have been over in 5 min due to a dc. Instead I started considering dcing around 10 min. Ended up lasting around 25 min by the time a killer them. Most boring game I ever played. I really should have dced

I am a high mmr killer that gets good teams as long as I am playing at a time when queues are less than a few min (not 3am like I do sometimes). I think high mmr survivor is probably the most consistently good role right now. When I play my mid(at best) mmr survivor there are a descent amount of corner self-care not do gen Andy's. If you are stuck in low mmr as survivor, it kinda sucks and is genuinely hard to climb out due to how mismatched it can be down there.

I'm not sure. The only time I have every bled someone out was when they were using boil over and running to a spot I couldn't hook them. They may be trying to have their own fun but I'm not getting any real chases and they are actively ruining my game. I quite literally wouldn't put it past those types of boil over gamers to make a post exactly like this one. Also "this one scenario that most definitely doesn't happen to me a lot is good reason why killer queue's can be upwards of a whole 3 min!" no one really cares. My queues at 3am in the morning are at worst 4 min. Some of my league queue's can be upwards of 15 min due to how high mmr I am in that game, this statement is just so dumb to me.

I do whatever is fastest. If I have won I typically give hatch because the 2 min of back and fourth between each door for a survivor that may or may not be trying to even open a door is boring af. Especially in this survivor "Culture" of not even attempting a door. I won who ever is left gets hatch idc.

What are your profiles for different survivors?
It's almost stereotyping, though there are exception obviously. Like I have never seen even a descent Laurie in my entire time playing this game. Nancys are either a toxic good player or completely terrible. Ace's always try too hard to be good but usually fail or run him for off brand iron will. Again though there are exceptions like a really good Hadie for example.

You see Mikaela load into a lobby. Do you assume she's running Boon: Circle of Healing?
And if you do, are you annoyed if she doesn't, in fact, have the boon?
"Come on, Mikaela! The team is injured and there is no boon on this map!"
Tbh I profile most survivors.

I honestly think being on the ground and can do nothing on your own is a boring mechanic.
You cant do much on the ground except from slow crawling and 99% heal.
I think removing that you are stuck on the ground would solve so many things. Why? Let me tell you.
Some killers like Nurse or Blight are strong because they can make a 4 slugg, especially with things like starstruck.
Slugg for a 4k is also a bit meh, since the 2 survivors cant do much about it anyway.
So and why is it healthy?
First of all, it removes some pressure like camping or tunneling, since if you go down, you eventually get up again.
Killer is often more forced to hook.
But at the same time, since it takes pressure on some things, we can actually balance other things out where killer struggle.
And to be honest, who wants to play AFK Simulator on the ground?
The perks who give advantage of such things could be getting an extra effect.
Also this would be effectively a meta shake up for both sides.
So what i want:
Survivors should recover 100%. At the same recovery speed as right now.
Some of the most fun gameplay for me and the survivors I have gone against have been in the rare instances where I start slugging for pressure. There's nothing but pure entertainment and chase for both sides. I have posted this somewhere else but I went against a 4 man unbreakable, soul guard and dead hard squad pre patch while I was running alchring on blight. They were the first good swf I had gone against in quite a while and both sides were very content in the post game chat. Now I know there are knockout builds right now but most of the time people are not going into games with knock out to slug it out.

It won't happen but if it did I was under the impression there's only one killer in the game. How would I p3 anyone but blight?
-
Everything blight can do on pc he can do on controller. Though it is a little rougher with a controller. Even though I don't use q and e I have them bound and you can 100% flick with blight. You just have to turn your sense up to max due to the nature of a controller.

i think it should be 2 or 3,games
3 though I don't play survivor too much. It's almost impossible for me to be mad when playing survivor, but huntress makes me tilted.

Not small BM's like flashlight macro at the ground to get you to chase them. Like outright tbagging after every pallet/window. Flash macro for no reason mid chase to just be rude. Emote spamming at you.
Why do these people get mad when you tunnel/camp them out of the game? They are literally asking for it with these kind of taunts (especially if you know they're a 4 stack).
During the game I really only get mad when its pre throwing the entire map into tbags everytime. End game though is just bm, they know you can't do anything about it and it just becomes a power trip. It's like if a killer is hitting you on hook. Tbh though I do hit on hook only when a survivor kills themselves early though, if I am not in chase.

sorry but wdym easier? one lets you ignore loop tiles and the other one requires more big brain plays
Suzu is right. It's pretty much the survivors fault if they get hit at anything but a very small tile with the hug tech. Ignoring them? no. Though I am not downplaying it, It really does help at tiles with nothing around to use bump logic. But genuinely most people that complain about the hug tech are just standing still at the part of a tile that you stand at vs normal m1 killers. You really just have to play differently. Or would you rather I take pallet side and then just beat you back around with speed. Oh and yeah blight can under no circumstance break his turn limit. Well other than the very rare instances of fatigue cancel that basically just makes you do a quick m1 without a lunge.

Believe it or not, I haven’t unlocked Kate up to this point because I don’t care for her perks. But recently, I’ve seen some discussion around Windows and how it lessens the unpredictability of solo queue. Knowing in advance if a pallet has been dropped or not is pretty good tbh, and since the cooldown was removed it’s no longer a noob trap.
To clarify, I am not asking if it’s a solid, generally useful perk because I know it is. What I want to know is if it’s worthy of taking a perk slot away from stuff like Kindred, Off the Record, etc. if I’m sweating for the win.
So hit me with your thoughts. I will probably buy Kate (or not) based on your guys’ opinions.
I am a killer main but I play with my survivor main friend quite a bit. Slapping On WoO made me way better. Like others have side not running into a deadzone can extend your chase by leaps and bounds.

its just bhvr...
remember one thing, if other devs need weeks for a thing, bhvr needs months, if the other devs need months, bhvr needs years and the funniest thing about this is that most of it doesn't work xD hit validation, MMR, server, after many many tests and years later things still don't work out
if you have played another game a lot, you will notice how slow the devs of dbd are and it doesn't even work properly xD no front just facts
That's what riot does right. League can be frustrating but they update the game every 2 weeks. No other game comes close to competing with updates to league.

I agree. Sometimes you have all scourges on one side of the map where you'll never hoon anyone and sometimes you hook survivors only at scourges. It's all or nothing. Maybe a better logic would make more sense.
Yep pretty much how it is. Sometimes I could win a game off a pain res being at the best part of the map. Sometimes I get sent to swamp(kill me) and they are all in corners that killers have never even set foot in.

If the killer slugs you at 5 gens and your team doesn't come to get you at all. People have said just bleed out but it takes forever. I've been just DCing when this happens as it basically ruins my experience but with the DC penalty, you still have to wait. I can understand slugging being a tactic to put pressure but at 5 gens? I don't understand.
What do you do?
Yeah I don't understand this. When I slug it's to bring back those losing games and the survivors are ON TOP OF IT. Genuinely I have never had more fun than the few games I've had as alch ring blight vs a competent swf who are picking each other up, it's rare because I don't run alch ring very often or go against a team that is both equip and prepared for slugging like that. But seriously went against a team with soul guard unbreakable WGL, and it was so fun. Ended up losing that specific one but man that was peak dbd right there for me.
Sorry kinda went off topic, you can't do anything and your team sucks. For real survivor moment, alt+tab.
