At the moment there are no Killer bots, but they are planned.

    Ah gotcha, thank you!

  • The new Red Forest and new Shelter Woods are literally the worst maps for killers like Blight, Wesker and Huntress but are almost god tier for M1 killers becuase there's so much in the way of vision that killers like Legion almost get a free stealth perk

    Which new map? Borgo?

    @Xernoton said:

This is pretty much the case for the last 4 maps. Which one are you referring to?

The Shelter Woods rework. Borgo is still bad but the new Woods is the worst offender imo

Wesker and Nemesis are fairly strong see a lot of usage. People want variety and easier wins.

People will use meta loadouts and become surprised when strong killers are picked often. Man this community's gotten picky. (Killers are too, literally sacrificing a perk slot on some killers can almost entirely eliminate Dead Hard from some chases and they still want it nerfed)

Just wish we could enjoy things

Every single killer you listed are killers that survivors seem to dislike playing against currently save for Legion who has been hated for several years straight so in their case nothing has changed.

Why do people hate Nemi and Wesker? Knight I can kinda understand but the RE killers are great

  • The killers that do it mostly do it because of them disapproving of the hiding, because they view it as you betraying your teammate rather than trying to help or something. I will say, the fact it still happens even when you're doing a gen is confusing, the only times I have done it is because of the one hiding just not being on a gen as an effort to help the teammate. But the disapproval one from my experience on both ends, tends to be why killers do that.

  • A 2k is a tie, anything below is a loss for killer and win for surv, and anything above is win for killer and loss for surv

  • I visibly wince when I hear Meg get hooked, half the reason I stopped playing that girl was because she peaked my damn headphones, so yeah I'm also on the board of letting you control hook volume because dear lord, it hurts sometimes

  • You heard it here first, on the Dead By Daylight forums

  • I love the forums

  • Ghost People from Dead Money could be an interesting idea, then there's obviously the Glowing Ones, Mutants (Centaur could be nightmare material), lots of great opportunities in Fallout

Funny you say that because while shelter woods is killer sided, the other two you mentioned are both survivor sided vs efficient survivors. Unless you have terrible rng. But also people overstate shelter woods because just like the other two it can have a ton of pallets depending on rng.

I meant to say as survivor for Shelter Woods and the Top and Bottom zones of Az and Suffo but yeah, those maps are won through RNG half the time and it sucks

  • Shelter Woods and Suffocation Pit both need reworks again. Suffo Pit (and Azarov's Resting Place) have that annoying middle section that are always hell to loop as Killer, then the top and bottom have next to nothing, then Shelter Woods just has nothing at all.

  • Blight, if he's able to still speak and understand english, or any spoken language for that matter. I feel really bad for him even if he was dabbling in questionable things, but he was doing what he could to escape and got that stolen from him last second. Plus, he's really smart and it'd be interesting to hear his stories of creating the serums and doing the experiments.

    And other things

  • I've always wanted larger terror radii in the game, as survivor, killers can feel less like a looming threat and more like a travelling problem. Wesker's TR is great, and I hope they find a way to increase all TRs at some point (Although Doctor and Starstruck would need adjustments if so)

  • One idea I have is for survivors, with every prestiege rank that as of now doesn't give you a reward, one of each item and add-on you have gets transferred to others, then just add-ons for killers, but that being added by rarity

  • Hunk not being his own killer, my mans deserved his own spotlight

  • When I was in lobby as Leon then my friend switched to Ada, Leon said "You're stuck with me to the end", then I think sometimes at random he'll say something, don't know the triggers besides the Ada line so far

I should of made it clear that I was talking about already high pressure chase killers that can keep that snowball to the point where 3 seconds into the game its over after you get a down+ whatever else if you understand high traffic areas of the map and the most likely place that people are going to run (For example, when blinking back to a hook if you are playing nurse, don't blink right too it, blink to the left side if they know you are coming from the front to cut them off.) I guess people are scared that if they lose the snowball they lose?

Ah I get you. Well in that case, it's unfortunate but fact that Mobility killers get the best out of Slowdown because it buys them even more time than they already get to have. I don't know how it can be adjusted, nor do I think it can happen without breaking anything

And thank you a lot <3

  • If you see a Blight bump into a wall then start moving toward it, leave the loop, maybe even fake it to make him waste a rush, you're only complaining because you're waiting to react to him, when it's your chance to make your own decision

  • Wesker is A Tier if you know how to use him. I'm not claming to be a god but I've been practicing a fair bit and I don't think people quite understand his sweet spot yet. There's a mix of patience and aggression to need to have with him and he rewards you greatly for it. His power has built in slowdown, mobility and anti-loop, you just gotta be unpredictable and effective to get the most out of it, one match on RPD isn't going to get you very far with learning him at all

  • Well why wouldn't you? Think of this, let's say you take Brutal Strength over Pain Resonance, common perks for their roles right? This is gonna be long but I'm gonna use some examples to show Chase vs Slowdown on an M1 killer.

For Brutal, let's say the example is a MacMillan chase that used a long wall jungle gym, a short wall gym and a junk pallet. Let's say the long gym took 20 seconds because you won a mindgame and they dropped the pallet, then connected it with the other gym and that took 30 due to you losing a mindgame, pallet dropped then connected with junk tile that took 10 seconds, then 6 seconds after breaking to get the hit. In total if you include pallet breaks, that chase took around 71 seconds. Without Brutal, the chase could possibly take around 80 seconds due to the extra time causing extra loops, making Brutal save you 9 seconds, maybe even more. However, this wouldn't be that useful on the mobility killers such as Nurse/Blight/Oni/Wesker because they already catch up immensely fast. But back on topic to an M1 killer, those 9 seconds didn't reduce a gen, they're only 9 flat seconds across the board.

Now, for Pain Res, using the previous chase example. Let's say there was a gen that had 50% done, then another with 45%. Once the hit happens, let's say it took you 7 seconds to get the hook, bringing both to about 56% and 51% respectively. Pain Res knocks the 56 to a 41%. Those 9 seconds are simple inferior to the ~14 seconds Pain Res will buy you on that gen, and while yes, the other may pop, you can chase someone off of it if you find it and that buys you extra time.

TL;DR - Slowdown is global pressure, Chase is 1v1, thus, in most cases, Slowdown is the better choice (I also apologize if my math is bad or my predictions just outright suck, I rarely do breakdowns like this but I still think it's important to show that Slowdown still rules all)

  • I'd say he's honestly A-Tier material. His power has both anti-loop, slowdown and mobility. He's extremely good if you practice with him and even just using his dashes for catching up is immensely effective. Wesker's amazing, just buggy

  • Legion. As a Legion main, I really wish the power got something more with the rework than a down that requires 4 people to let it happen. Fuming Tape gives you so much extra breathing room along with intel that I just feel so much weaker without. It's also my favorite mixtape in terms of chase music as well. To have extra slowdown on Legion is a blessing, to have it be a half Ruin is even better

Part of me wishes he was on another killer since I'm already sick to death playing as robbie rabbit legion to enjoy him (deathslinger m1 is knife, m2 just uses a grapple hook or something), Part of me wishes he was a Survivor too lol.

Plus, it's not like Hunk to just stab something then immediately run away. If he's gonna kill he's gonna finish it right there. He would've fit as Spirit when you think about Hunk's gear. He could possibly just use Hologram technology to project himself during Phase, then his invisibility could be excused with his Cloaking Tech that he's had in a couple games

Yes, the only reason I'm still playing this game (since 2017) and still giving them my money for DLC - is because I see that they are actually trying. BHVR may not be perfect, but it's promising to see them making more choices that improve game health. I hope the trend continues.

Same here, for such a unique game that's a monopoly of it's genre, with how lackluster BHVR has been sometimes, it's good to see a change like the Bloodweb's. Like you said, a reminder that they are trying and are listening, even if they get some things wrong

  • A part of me wishes he was his own killer entirely even though I know how much of a hellfire a Double Killers chapter would be, but he has so many cool ideas for a power and perks, he's my favorite RE Character and it sucks to see him get lowkey shafted like this. They also missed out on giving other killers skins of the USS from Operation Raccoon City, although an unpopular game, it's one of my favorites

  • I still feel like some changes could be made to make them a tad bit stronger (One idea i had was letting them having infinite Frenzy outside of chase with no chain hits, to let them have some extra mobility and utility from their add-ons, although Fuming may have to be tweaked if that ever happens), but I'd agree, Legion is mostly fine, although still relatively weak in general

  • On survivor I recommend running Object of Obession, it's a really interesting perk that's my favorite in the game, it adds this intel battle between you and the killer that no other perk does, I love it, sometimes it sells you out, sometimes it saves you from a hit, it favors nobody and it's why I love it so much

To be fair there are usually killer changes only like a chapter away if they need them, she needs them and it's been 2

I get that, but I still feel like we need a handful of weeks before they turn their eyes to other killers because Wesker also has his own little issues right now that need ironing (Aka Hitboxes being too small) Like I said, we probably will get some in coming weeks but I feel it's asking a lot to buff a killer the moment one just came out

  • They just dropped an entire chapter bro give it a minute

  • With indoor maps being my favorite type of map in the game, it's great to have an extra 2 that can swing into rotation. As maps themselves, they're alright from what I've experienced. I played East Wing as Wesker and thought the map was pretty alright, then played West as Survivor and thought it was alright. Some areas seem very depricated of pallets or windows at times, and I think there's some spots where they could have a wall opened up to allow for some extra mobility options for both sides, but otherwise, I like them, BHVR did good on the rework in my opinion

    Same old #########. Different killer.

  • For killer it's easily Lethal Pursuer, the perk itself lets your early game get going right away and lets some other perks and add-ons get some very big buffs that can let you claim a critical opportunity, I've gotten plenty of value from Lethal + Compound 21, it's such a good perk

For survivor it's Object of Obession, it sells me out sometimes, it may work against me sometimes, but I just love it so much no matter how little it may do for me in a match. It lets me have intel, and knowing what's going on outside your space is so comforting to have. Along with the fact that it counters Lethal, Floods, Add-Ons, anything aura related, you use it too as long as they're detectable. Adds a tactical element I didn't know DBD could have.

  • Blight should be added to the dating sim

  • Blight, Nemesis, Legion and Oni

Blight because he's the antithesis to holding W, so I get really exciting chases against him (Among other reasons that I shall not speak of)

Nemesis because his power requires a lot of precision, so I like the anticipation of trying to dodge where he may try to get a cheeky hit, plus his zombies add chaos into the mix at times

Legion because I main them, I like testing my knowledge on how to deal with them

And Oni because his power is like Blight's, it leads to really exciting chases along with the stress of trying to deny him an early hit (Among other reasons that I shall not speak of)

  • Bubba. Bubba is a reason I don't like going to play as Survivor, I do not want to inflict that same frustration on the people I play against. I will tunnel, I will camp, I will trash talk, I will not play Bubba. He is annoying, he is boring, he is infuriating, he is stupid. I hate Bubba

  • Object of Obsession

    Wake Up

    Dark Sense

    Shadowborn

    Agitation

    Monitor And Abuse

  • I'll sacrifice NOED to make DH fair any day

  • This rework has also lowkey sabotaged Legion players against high tier survivors. They take you very seriously now. It's a lethal power in theory now, they don't want that idea to become a reality. They will spread, repair, heal, bodyblock and play so good that you really cannot do anything as a slightly above average killer besides tunnel, slug and camp. I know people wanted Lethal Legion, but I can't believe i'm saying that I miss their non-lethal power now, I miss that being a Frank's tape thing. Legion matches used to be chilled out, with pretty skill based chases, you were an M1 killer, you had to mindgame and you didn't need to deal with that first health state, it was DH then down. Oh well, guess I'll just main Nurse now

I do think that Population Pressure and Celestial Gardener may be a tad bit too powerful. Otherwise, I do like the concept of these Perks based on POSTAL. I was actually coming up with some perk concepts as well and was hoping someone could give me their opinion on them.

    Hex: No Regrets

If a healthy survivor is in protection hit range of a injured survivor, attacking the healthy survivor will put them in the dying state. This effect lasts until the related Hex totem is cleansed. "I regret nothing." ~ Postal Dude

    Scrouge Hook: Endless Struggle

No matter which state on hook, survivor will be forced to struggle and have another survivor help them. "He appears to be trapped inside his own mind, in an endless struggle against himself."

    Speed Demon

When not in a chase, your movement speed is increased by 2/4/6% until all generators are repaired. "Guns don't kill people, I do." ~ Postal Dude

Hopefully in the future more people look into a concept chapter for POSTAL.

Thanks for the feedback and love your ideas! Always great to see another POSTAL fan. I don't know how they would fit Dude into the game seeing how safe modern RWS plays it, but nonetheless the idea is always interesting, especially Postal 1.

I love all the perk ideas, especially No Regrets and Endless Struggle looks like some insane early or endgame pressure. I do fear that Speed Demon could be exploited by looking at the ground or moonwalking in chase, but then again I guess it would be obvious to those who notice what you're doing. Great ideas though!

  • DS doesn't do anything to stop kills, it buys gen time and that's it. 70% of every DS I have eaten since this patch I have been able to tunnel right back through if I really think I need the kill to win

  • My top 3:

    Fuming

    Frank and Julie

    Joey

  • @Icaurs said:

The problem with this, is that the survivor meta exists for a reason. Let's say you disabled BT/DS/unbreakable. What would happen is mass camping, tunnelling and slugging. Without the fear of these things, killers will increase in this playstyle. Even DH, if you disabled that killer would get downs, significantly faster.

It goes the same way. If you disabled gen slowdown perks for killers, the survivors will do generators way to fast for them to handle. Even without DH, killers will not be able to keep up, its not possible. Everybody complains about meta, but meta exists for a reason, and if you disable it, you risking breaking the foundation of the game.

The anti-tunnel survivor perks do literally nothing to stop it. In matches where I felt the need to tunnel, I've hit BT, swung at Dead Hard and ate a DS and 70% of the time that person will die. Survivors need to stop relying on these perks so hard, they only make an endgame kill harder and that's the extent of DS/BT's powers. If you wanna save a tunneled survivor, teamwork, you use teamwork to help them out, teamwork is that last 30%.

  • @YOURFRIEND said:

I am also entirely uninterested in the lethal aspect of their power. It's terribly inconsistent and almost entirely in the survivors hands.

Plus Legion being lethal is always going to be unfair, Feral Frenzy is extremely hard to loop without a pallet stun, that's why I have BFFs with the Notification. Lethal Legion is doomed to suck, so I just let old Frank's tape return in a reworked form. It's lethal but it takes a long time to make it so, just like old Frank's

  • @GrimReaperJr1232 said:

The Legion's 5th hit being lethal has a dual purpose. On top of giving Legion lethality, it also caps the number of chain hits Legion can perform, effectively killing "hostage Legion," that being a Legion completely uninterested in winning and instead slowing the game to a painful crawl by just endlessly chaining hits until survs give up or eventually get out.

In the changes I have listed there is a Mapwide Sound Queue to let survivors know that Legion has exited Frenzy as to prevent or help stop Hostage Legion situations, but that's only hypothetically, this is just fan idea afterall

  • They should end it with a Campaign like the other person said, then begin work on a DBD 2 that has a campaign that follows up on one of the endings, or some sort of Part Two where the Entity revives itself, since it seems to be some sort of Living thing, it may fake it's death as a defense mechanism or be infected and become a host for something else

  • With current Gen Speeds I feel like some sort of version of Deadlock should be killer basekit, either that or Corrupt.

For replacement status effects or alternate ones I say this:

Deadlock: Basekit version - When a generator is completed, the most worked on generator is blocked by the Entitiy for 10 seconds/ Perk Version applies regression during this block time along with a longer blocking time

Corrupt: Basekit Version - At the start of a trial, the furthest generator from the killer is blocked for 80 seconds/ Perk Version is buffed so that 3 others are blocked and one at random is blocked until another generator is completed

  • A cool buff idea is that it improves Great Check zones while giving it a +1% buff, along with a 20% chance buff, so that it can be a sort of counterpart for Resilience for Gen Speed

Back during pinhead or artist ptb, people found a way to get your ip through the game and they were ddosing and swatting streamers. Not sure if it was also in the main game, but they had a big banner up on the forums warning people and suggesting to get a vpn for a while..

Sheesh, I think I remember that and I really hope that ain't back in the game. Thing's scary as
