Just give Deerstalker infinite range and give it a loud noise notification after a dying survivor is picked up

I added the function of Fragrant Tuft Of Hair to Judith's Tombstone.
Also, Myers is Undetectable in Evil Within I at base kit. And the add-on 'Dr Loomis' Keys' already grants Undetectable to Evil Within II.
Oh sorry, I must've not read it fully.
Anyway, the problem with Dying Light is that you're essentially forced to let a buffed survivor live for long periods of time for a measly benefit. Reducing the buff isn't gonna help and it's only gonna be useful on Plague or Legion which is better since this the perk was never really useful on anyone.
-
Currently, Wraith's cloak speed has been buffed so you should be able to outmaneuver the flashlight's beam for some time and even waste their charges
-
I don't know about the dash mechanic. It literally gives him a Blighted Rush which doesn't feel fitting for Ghostface. Why would a methodical killer who's gimmick revolves around stealth suddenly rush towards things like a hyperactive pinball?
-
Actually, I kinda like this idea. However, the community will always find a way to claim that any lethality buff to legion would remove counterplay. I'd like to see what they think about this one
-
The problem with Iri Robin is that Clown is really loud. There's really no point in giving him Undetectable. I assume you had a good game with the Shinobi Pachinoderm Clown build but Undetectable is mostly useless on Clown
-
This idea is a little troubling. Teleportation in response to tunneling? Feels kinda odd but I think testing is required

Subtle Recovery(or could be reworked Vigil)While affected by a negative status effect, cleansing a totem will remove the negative status effect. If it's a permanent status effect, become immune to it for 40/50/60 seconds.
For every totem destroyed in the map, recover from all status effects 10% faster than normal.
I like this idea. Seems pretty neat to pair with Inner Strength in case of a Broken inflicting add-on (Or Forced Penance but who uses that?)
-
It'll never happen, don't keep your hopes up
-
Dead Hard is the only perk that counters Nurse, Huntress, and Slinger, two of those killers are hated by everyone and you still need good timing and ping to pull it off. Personally DH for distance is more problematic than DH for dodging.
I'd rather just give them 1 second of inability to interact with objects

No. Just make it to where if a Survivor is in the exit gate hall and they don't leave within 15 seconds the Entity blocks the exit.
Yeah this is better
-
With how fast Adrenaline Vial lets you recharge tokens, I don't see too much of a problem with this. It's not like it's gonna reduce your skill since you need to be more precise when using the vial and the only place this add-on was ever useful was indoors

It wouldn’t because it only procs on protection hits and how many times will this activate without people knowing what perk it is? People will catch on and not body block
Thankfully for us, WGLF exists. Now we need more protection hit perks to make Forced Penance better
Also, the backpack build is nicely complimented by the perk. You know, Agitation, Iron Grasp, Mad Grit, and currently, Starstruck. To make Forced Penance viable, it only needs to be better than Mad Grit or Iron Grasp which shouldn't be a high bar to pass. Maybe instead of Oblivious, you gain tokens after gaining protection hits with each token giving an extra 2/3/4% time needed for survivors to wiggle out (Max 4 tokens)
-
I kinda like this. It's like a shorter Blood Warden that you don't need to time
-
I'd say just prevent the use of keys to prevent screwing over the last survivor
-
So in other words, allow us to combine color variations of several outfits to avoid cluttering the cosmetics selection menu
-
Make sure that it doesn't affect Overcharge since preventing gen tapping is one of my favorite functions of the perk

His TR would probably be a nerf considering infectious fright
Also the thought of Myers leaning is too funny
I mean, he's also faster in tier 3 so he can react to Infectious Fright faster
-
Why nerf Fragrant Tuft of Hair? I think it's not really that problematic, in fact the only nerf I'd give to it is an extra 5 seconds of extra stalking required. But I do have an idea for your concept of that Fragrant Tuft of Hair
Fragrant Tuft of Hair
Myers is Undetectable in Evil Within 1 and 2
Terror Radius in Evil Within 3 is reduced (24 m)
Now it can be paired with Dr. Loomis' car keys which is supposed to be the Vanity Mirror

I think I once made a perk to help easing flashlight blinds and it kinda works like Pharmacy for flashlights :
Backflash
Backflash guarantees a Sport Flashlight in your first chest search
While running, you may aim the flashlight beam behind yourself. You do not slow down while using the flashlight
Increases flashlight efficiency by 15%/20%/25%
The problem with flashlights is that you lose lots of momentum using it. With this, flashlights can be used to annoy the killer during chase, forcing them to look up and down and allowing you to get away or something.

"hehe I'm gonna throw a lot of knives really fast but I have slower movement speed and oh no the survivor is just behind cover and now I don't have the time/ movement speed to do anything about it". Boring.
Just have The Trickster float like 2 meters off the ground while keeping his normal movement speed so he can hit survivors behind walls easier (and quickly descend near doorways to allow for mobility) and have knives home in *slightly*. Add spotlights for added effect.
Trickster needs to ascend the tier list, not literally ascend
-
I'm not sure about Deep Wounds basekit. Personally, I think it should just be an add-on to replace many of Pig's worthless skill check add-ons. Same logic for ambush pallet breaks, just make it an add-on, maybe even an extra ability for Amanda's Letter to make it Ultra Rare worthy

I just don't care, it only bothers me because people were too busy talking about the misspelling rather than the content of the discussion.
Anyway about the discussion. I like the second option more than the first one though if it were up to BHVR, they'd probably add a range reduction (Or hopefully a cooldown reduction. That would be slightly better)

Story
In each game I get proxy camped because I get caught in the endgame. And I'm on the struggle stage and hook skill checks get harder. So while I'm being proxy camped I have to focus on skill checks as well as my surroundings. But near when you are about to die, skill checks get to about DS size maybe even smaller. I can hit DS size skill checks but not with all these distractions.
So I look away for a second because my teammate is right next to me with the killer right behind them about to hit them and I have about 7 seconds left on the hook, and the skill check is so small I can't hit it because I am distracted and I miss it and takes the rest of my bar and I die. This is so frustrating.
I am good at skill checks but I can't hit DS size skill checks every 5 seconds while having to look where my teammates are
Skill checks on hook struggle shouldn't get that small, especially for the newer players.
Is it the same size as PH cage skill checks?
-
Who knows, maybe you were playing during MMR and those survivors have been losing repeatedly. Boosted players are a thing, FYI

Can I suggest changing the ability with self-unhooks to something else and keeping the struggle phase ability as you have described it? Maybe a speed boost when you get off the hook or something?
Camaraderie's problem besides coordination problem is inversatility. In other words, its only useful for one point of the match. This same problem befalls Slippery Meat and I would rather keep both suggested effects for this reason.

Not to have a "what about" thing but this is just part of the problem of Survivors not getting enough Bloodpoints over all, which is part of the "the Grind is real" problem.
The only BP that 'easy' to get as Survivor is Objective, and even then to max that out you'd basically have to do three gens with someone else or four gens by yourself.
Boldness is somewhat easier to get, in that totems give it and with a map or a single Perk slot they are easy enough to find. Interacting with the Killer also gives points here but that's hit or miss a lot of games. An away Killer or a camper won't give out much BP here.
Altruism is again Killer dependent. If no one is hurt or you can't get people off hooks you're not getting much here.
And finally Survival. This one is also very much up to the Killer and how they play. And even if you do get hurt most of the points here not based on getting out alive are based on healing yourself, which you either need a sub-par Perk (Self Care) or a medkit to even get.
Survivor BP overall really just needs a rework. The Bloodweb overall really just needs a rework. I get that the point is to make people play more games, but you shouldn't have to force your players to play your game. They should just want to play your game for the fun of it and feel like they are being reward for playing the game they have fun with. Playing Survivor does not at all feel rewarding because of how little BP you get.
Yup, survival BP kinda sucks. Though I have seen people pipping simply by maxing out altruism

The babysitter change sounds good, but the Second Wind one does not (unless its TOTAL seconds) because good killers will not try to chase you for that long.
Did you know that people complain about DS running out during chase? It means that there are people who can last in chase with only 1 health state for 60 seconds
-
I agree with this. I also wish the shrouds were switched up. The only time these shrouds ever work is with Corrupt Intervention, Prove Thyself, Streetwise, vs Twins, and I guess Vigil
-
Fake perks should probably just be a perk, perhaps to replace Crowd Control? I mean, the latter's perk name sounds like something for a police killer or something like that
-
@Airless said:
I mean, sure? I don't know who the hell would play it, but whatever
As I said, it was for testing purposes, kinda like a PTB
-
Is it just me or are darker traps sometimes not very good for all maps especially now that Coldwind is in daylight, I think trap darkening add-ons should just decrease the traps' opacity, making them transparent
-
Fire Up is the terrible one. And Iron Grasp I guess
-
What if DMS works upon hooking survivors that are NOT the obsession? This perk kinda sucks anyway so having 9 uses doesn't seem all that bad. Everyone just runs it with Furtive Chase anyway
That or give it an obsession switching mechanic that activates when a survivor repairs a gen through this perk's duration
-
The anti-sandbag mechanic is pretty neat though it probably won't find any use besides SWF. What if it notifies Dying Survivors that you have this perk whenever you approach them so that they can ask you to lead them to a specific direction? This works even better if Dying Survivors can have emotes
-

I would buff left behind in 1 of 3 ways
1. When your the last survivor alive your gate opening speed is increased by 20% along with the current effect.
2. When your the last survivor alive increase your vaulting speed by 6% along with the current effect.
3. Always shows the aura of hatch regardless of if your the last survivor alive or not.
These ideas are pretty cool
-
I think I once had an idea where you could toggle skill checks and arrange them into a song. Here's the thread :

That is a large part of the idea. Not only would it give killers a reason to use obsession perks, but it would create a whole new genre of game-type perks that are specialized to win a particular mode.
For example, Dying Light :
When a survivor that's not the obsession is hooked, all survivors get a penalty of 11/13/15% to Repair, Healing and Sabotage speed for 20/25/30 seconds.
The Obsession suffers a 25% speed reduction for actions in the altruism category
-
I agree with this. I think some of us would want to see Clown at his prime
-
So wait, doesn't that mean that Dragon's Grip technically has a 50/40/30 second cooldown?
I'm fine with that
-
As everyone always says in these kinds of threads
Just remove overheat
-
I agree with this post
-
The aura on this perk should probably be prolonged by a few seconds. This perk is just outclassed by Tinkerer and even Rancor
-
Wow, someone likes new Coldwind lighting? All the posts I've seen are about people complaining about it
-
The MMR is supposedly gonna help with this issue. I'm not really sure about it but it's a little bit better than what we have now
-
I think I remember suggesting a perk idea for a Dying Light chapter
Backflash
Backflash guarantees a Sport Flashlight in your first chest search
While running, you may aim the flashlight beam behind yourself. You do not slow down while using the flashlight
Increases flashlight efficiency by 15%/20%/25%
-
I think I remember suggesting it to be basekit due to how weak it is with the catch being that it activates upon uncaging instead caging to promote not tunneling
Also don't be sad about that typo on the title. First time I read about this add-on, I read it as the Seal of Mettaton and thought it was foreshadowing an Undertale chapter
-
Put the same thing on Haddonfield. The survivors are literally breaking and entering random people's houses
-
I think there was a suggestion to limit player ping to a certain point in order to prevent lag from happening. That should probably help with hitbox issues
-
So is anyone gonna respond or what?
