So as we all know, a totem counter is one way to fix the gap between solo and SWF. While thinking, I realized something. SWF can call out totem locations and as such one person can stumble upon a totem and ask their teammates to cleanse it later. I don't think that's something that can be replicated in solo so here's my idea. When a totem is within a survivor's FOV for longer than 2 seconds, a7 comments 191 views last activity

There are a few things that'll always pop up in this forum. NOED OP and SWF OP. And while a lot of people have expressed their defense for both sides, I'd like to take a different approach on defending SWF. This'll be based on my experience in SWF. Anyway I occasionally play with my friends and in most days, telling them specific things is incredibly difficult. For starters, the only time I can38 comments 741 views last activity

As we all know, 4-man slug strategies are generally frowned upon but I really want to know how viable it actually is. So one day if we get public custom matches or if the devs somehow listen to this, I'd like to do some tests on how viable 4-man slug really is (Also, Breakdown bug). Here are the general rules -No hooks. The killer wins when all survivors are in the dying state for more than 30 s3 comments 52 views last activity

So as we all know, doing gens is kinda boring. It's basically pressing a button for 80 seconds while occasionally pressing skill checks. Ironically, getting frightened by a stealth killer is the most exciting thing about fixing gens. This conception is one of the main reasons why gen regression cannot be buffed, because having to fix one all over again is bOrInG. It's also the reason why survivor18 comments 461 views last activity

The problem with Ruin is that it's mostly strong mid-game as the killer usually has a lot less areas to cover and it helps a ton with 3-gens. Worse still survivors have a habit of testing for Ruin at the start of the game. This typically leads to Ruin being cleansed immediately, giving no value whatsoever. Here's a dumb idea of mine and I based it on NOED (Also from a post about letting the kil0 comments 21 views last activity

You! Yes, you! Are you an immersed player? Do you like the idea of never being found by the killer? Are your teammates angry at you for not doing gens? Are you scared of touching gens because the killer might find you? Well say goodbye to your problems with this simple technique! Anyway the trick is to use Technician. Now you can do gens without that stupid thing making too much noise! But4 comments 102 views last activity

So it's been a while and currently, all the killers have been pointing their fingers at Dead Hard. Along with the occasional Nurse complaint threads, I noticed a weird theme... People actually think Spirit Fury + Enduring is as broken as Dead Hard and they use it as argument for why Dead Hard shouldn't be nerfed. So for today's thread, I'll try my best to defend this combo. So one of the things12 comments 641 views last activity

So now that DS and OoO is nerfed, some of us are going after Dead Hard. I made this thread for 2 reasons. One, I hope that this thread ends up above or below a thread complaining about DH so that I get a funny image to post. Second, I'd like to talk about DH and Coup de Grace regarding dashes. So here's the thing about Dead Hard, it's a perk that lets you dash forward. Here's a funny thing about5 comments 121 views last activity

So recently I've been playing Dying Light (Not the multiplayer) and it was pretty fun. One of the skills I saw that I like the most was Backlash which basically allows you to use your secondary while looking behind yourself and running (One of those secondaries is a UV flashlight. You see where I'm going with this?). Now I didn't use it so often since I rarely get chased by Volatiles to the poi0 comments 11 views last activity

Let me explain what I mean. Besides learning how to do generators, survivors need to learn these following things in order to progress in the game. *Loop a killer without vaulting or stunning them *Unhook safely without losing either you or the hooked survivor *Not hide in a bush the entire game *Perform difficult skill checks Doctor teaches survivors all of these things. You can't vault si4 comments 91 views last activity

Essentially I'm talking about add-ons that reference other killers such as Blight's Plague Bile. Here's one of my ideas : Herman's Mixtape A mixtape which recorded bass boosted noises of The Doctor's victim being tortured. The Legion members found this funny for unknown reasons Hitting a survivor highlighted by Killer Instinct causes them to progress one Madness state Any ideas like this?2 comments 31 views last activity

As we all know, the community is taking the DS nerf surprisingly well. I'm fine with that since it means I can stop complaining about the Undying nerf now that survivors have suffered the same fate to their meta. Which begs the question, if a perk that served the same purpose as a meta perk was buffed or a perk that caused a meta to be formed was nerfed, would the community be able to accept a ne0 comments 21 views last activity

So I've spent some time looking at the a killer tier list when I realized something. Most of the top tier killers have poor counterplay against stealth with the exception of Compound 21 Blight, Glowing Concoction Huntress, Oni, and Willow add-on Hag. On my quest to escape rank 4, I have been hindered by sniper huntresses, quick scoping slingers, and good nurses (Who mainly screw me over whenever8 comments 271 views last activity

So a lot of people wanted a different game mode, 1 to separate the sweaty tryhards with the chill players. I give you, hard mode. A game mode where both sides are boosted and extremely strong, thus requiring both of them to sweat their hardest to win. Team structure : Only 2-man or 4-man SWF can play, in order to avoid someone being the odd one out. Basekit perks : DS (Weaker version. The one2 comments 21 views last activity

As we all know, GF's reveal mechanic is bugged and as a result, the add-on for it is also bugged and practically useless. I have a compromise for that problem : Ghost Face Caught On Tape is made into a purple add-on. It's effect is not worth being a pink add-on. Driver's License is instead the pink add-on and its ability is : Ghost Face cannot be revealed while crouching Slightly (-10%) reduce0 comments 11 views last activity

So there are a couple of reasons I made this thread. One, I hope that this thread ends up above or below a thread complaining about Franklin's so that I get a funny image to post. Second, I'd like to talk about Franklin's and Overwhelming regarding items. Now as we all know, there are people who genuinely hate Franklin's. As we all know, Deathslinger sucks. It's mostly because there's barely any counterplay against him in chase . My idea is to weaken him the same way Huntress is balanced. First, make it so every time Slinger raises his rifle, it makes a loud CLANK sound. Judging by the many oil add-ons he has, it's safe to assume that he doesn't exactly oil the redeemer that often. This comes at the cost of mak4 comments 121 views last activity

This post was originally supposed to be about either Alert or Leader but seeing all those threads regarding DS, I've decided to make this one instead to show you that there are alternatives to anti-tunneling perks for yourself. One of the things about perks that let you pick yourself up are the risks it possesses. No Mither you can tell and Soul Guard depends on how long the hex stays active. These 2 perks in the right condition will usually force the killer to almost never slug. There are 2 problems with Unbreakable You get to pick yourself up for free with the only cost being unable to do it again If a killer is de7 comments 31 views last activity

Survivors who are hooked while the hex is active will suffer from Blindness until 20/25/30 seconds after the related Hex Totem is destroyed. When this totem is cleansed by a survivor, all survivors will be deafened and suffer from Oblivious for 20/25/30 seconds. Remember that Third Seal was supposed to be a stealth perk? Anyway, I decided to buff it this way to weaken SWF since Blindness means0 comments 11 views last activity

So a problem with old Ruin was that you could get pressure without actually having to work for it while one of the problems of Gearhead is that it rewards survivors who constantly hit great skill checks. With these things in consideration, I think I might know a good buff to make Huntress Lullaby on-par with Devour Hope while still being punishing for experienced survivors. You! Yes, you! Do your teammates keep trying to save you without BT? Are you tired of being hooked on the same hook 3 times? Is MYC giving the killer too much value? Do you have a ton of Petrified Oaks in your inventory? Well say goodbye to your problems with this one technique! Anyway, the trick is to use Breakdown. We'll make it is a great perk. Whenever I'm feeling generous, I like to use this instead BT to instantly heal my unhooked teammate. It's great when the killer isn't proxy camping or when you're not in a rush to unhook someone. Unfortunately just like Hope which is outclassed by Adrenaline, We'll Make It is still outclassed by BT. The reason behind this is that the unhooker rarely survives the r8 comments 372 views last activity

A thing about Spirit Fury is that it's terrible on its own. Whenever you run it, you also have to run either Enduring or Brutal Strength to get the most of it. I wouldn't make Enduring a part of Spirit Fury but I do have a suggestion for it. After breaking 4/3/2 pallets, Spirit Fury activates. While Spirit Fury is active, you can walk past a dropped pallet or breakable wall (No animation. You1 comments 112 views last activity

As we all know, the only part of Furtive Chase that people use is the obsession switching mechanic. Now that Nemesis exists, there's no point to Furtive Chase. Its effect is literally a hindrance. Since the devs probably intended this to be a chase stealth perk, let's try and keep up to the theme : You become obsessed with one Survivor When your Obsession is hooked, Furtive Chase receives a Tok5 comments 52 views last activity

I've been watching a lot of Michi's videos and frankly, I enjoy it. It's nice to see unused perks like MYC, ToT, Dark Devotion, Third Seal, and even Cruel Limits being actually viable with Hag. All she needs is Corrupt intervention and she's good to go. And yet so many people seem to want Hag nerfed, they want instant teleport hits removed, they want Rusty Shackles gone (Which I guess I can und54 comments 921 views last activity

Everyone knows about the horrific creature that is Stridor Spirit. A lot of people are probably begging for it to go away but there's a huge chance that it might ruin Spirit completely. Anyway, you can add this thread to the list of Spirit nerfs that have been posted in this forum. 1. Spirit will be deaf while using Yamaoka's haunting. There's something I don't like about Spine Chill and it's not the main effect. The main effect is personally fine since it's only good on 1 type of killer and if you know which gens are being worked on, you can look at that gen to scare survivors off it. What I don't like about Spine Chill is the many minor secondary effects it has. I understand that they need to be there so leveling up the per8 comments 341 views last activity

As most of us know, Plague absolutely sucks at gaining bloodpoints. Something that's odd though is that despite this, Plague doesn't have a meme add-on. Because of this, I have 2 suggestions for it, a brown add-on which is basically a total downgrade and a purple add-on that changes your playstyle. Brown Acidic Lime A very sour lime which inflicts a very severe acid reflux on the Plague. Allo0 comments 11 views last activity

So I'm a little torn between these 2 perks as they're both really good multi-gen tracking perks. Problem is, they don't work together due to blocked generators no longer regressing. I'll be listing the things I like of both perks I love Thrilling Tremors because the condition is pretty lenient. Picking up survivors is a must in every trial and since that is the condition, it's not too hard. As a4 comments 181 views last activity

Okay hear me out. What if Huntress' Lullaby was an obsession perk? When compared to other hexes, this perk is pretty weak. The reason for this lies in how situational it is since a person with good reflexes or eye-to-hand coordination can still nail 0 warning skill checks. Now I understand that it's still a strong perk and it can stomp on new players so here's my proposed changes. You become18 comments 91 views last activity

You thought this was going to be another advertisement but it was me, perk build analysis! Anyway because of the current meta of Ruin Undying Tinkerer, a lot of people are running either Detective's Hunch, Small Game, Soul Guard, or Inner Strength and I can understand that since Ruin and NOED are really powerful. So I have a question. Why aren't there too many perks causes survivors to play badly? Having a single a potato in your team is extremely detrimental so how hasn't there been more perks that punishes optimal plays and why are they below average? Is it balance reasons? A lot of killer perks typically punishes bad plays and forces survivors to be better. Overcharge and Unnerving presence teaches you to be more reactive when fixing gens, Coulrophobia teaches you to not heal in the killer's terror radius, Forced Penance teaches you to not try and bodyblock a killer on their way to a hook but I could barely find a killer perk that forces a survivor to play badly. While looking through the generator aura reveal perk, I noticed something interesting. Both Déjà vu and Detective’s Hunch require a generator to be completed. Visionary however, does the opposite, it deactivates when a generator is completed. Now I understand why this perk is considered bad, why would you want to be punished for progressing? But I realized a way that makes this perk viable It ca3 comments 81 views last activity
