  • Thanatophobia can make for a decent replacement for a slowdown perk since good survivors will never cleanse. Blood Echo can be useful to an extent since everyone is always injured. Basically if it makes survivors want to heal, run it.

  • Running both Deja Vu and Visionary allows you to see the gens forever. Not that it's gonna be useful, just something interesting

  • Now that I think of it, Gamekeeper is basically a stronger Deathslinger.

  • Just out of curiosity, were you facing Oni repeatedly because Nurse's is pretty good on him. If it's not Oni, did they have any altruism encouraging perks like Thanatophobia or maybe even Blood Echo?

LOL WGLF is survivors biggest enemy in this game. I honestly think that if you imposed a penalty on unhookers you would see a drastic change in survivor mentality toward (unsafe) unhooking and farming teammates. As a survivor this is what sets me up more than anything and that isnt tunneling, thats being opportunistic as a killer and survivor (unhooker).

If you impose a penalty on unhookers I guarantee they would stop setting you up. Hell give modified adrenaline (5 sec) and BT (5sec) to unhooked survivors and give unhookers exposed (20seconds) status after unhooking.

    PLEASE REMOVE WGLF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fine I guess I can understand your hatred for WGLF. Still, it's kinda sad that a perk that implies that David is willing to protect his teammates became a perk for greedy survivors who farm their teammates.

  • This perk has the same problem as Overcharge, it relies on incompetence. A killer with much experience would know not to miss their attacks the same way an experienced survivor would know how to hit an Overcharge skill check.

  • I think this is a good change. The Second Wind we currently have is basically a worse version of Solidarity (The Jane perk which heals you when you heal someone). Solidarity isn't even a good perk but somehow it outclasses current Second Wind because it doesn't force you to fully activate it (You can partially Self Care before or after you decide to activate Solidarity).

This is a big problem because the good thing about Second Wind is that you can do whatever you want for those 30 seconds and by the time it's over, you're already fully healed. What's the point of that if you have to waste time finding injured survivors who have yet to be healed at all?

  • Personally I'd say, buff perks that encourage you to spread damage all around a team. Third Seal, Blood Echo, STBFL, and even Forced Penance are perks that encourage people to spread damage to get their maximum effect but 3 out of these 4 perks that I just listed are below average. Hook token perks like Devour Hope and Huntress's Lullaby also do this since if you immediately kill off a survivor, you'll get less tokens.

As for survivors, make perks that reward you for protecting your teammates. WGLF and Deliverance is a step in the right direction but that's it. Breakout, Babysitter, and MoM are considered weak and for that reason, almost nobody uses them anymore. If you get hurt trying to protect your teammate, it would force the killer to consider chasing you down and taking advantage of your injury or continuing to tunnel the probably healthy survivor.

  • I kinda like this but mostly because of the 5 token distortion. Since there are typically 5 totems in each trial, if Distortion has 5 tokens, that would mean a single survivor with that perk can cleanse all totems without ever setting off Undying and that's great.

  • Personally, I think all the other late game perks should be buffed. Wake Up, Sole Survivor, Left Behind, No one Left Behind, they're all bad perks (Except No One Left Behind which is just a victim to the 99'ing meta). If they get buffed, maybe we'll see less survivors running Adrenaline due to them having more choices for the end game.

  • That is pretty nice. I'd say, make it so you can put it on anything that's considered a doorway to baffle survivors who don't memorize the map. The only problem is if they do, they'll know which wall is fake and just go through it, making the power's effectivity based on the survivor.

  • A little reminder about your Off the Record buff. Babysitter (one of Steve's perks) removes scratch marks and pools of blood of the survivor you unhook. If Off the Record removes scratch marks it would make Babysitter even more worthless as there would be even less incentives to run it. Maybe if it made scratch marks linger for a shorter period of time like Lightweight, temporarily though?

  • Yeah, I guess that can work. The problem with the current Remember Me is that its effect doesn't extend to the obsession which puts the killer and the survivor in a lose-lose situation. the killer has to tunnel the obsession to ensure that all their hard work doesn't get wasted while the survivor who ends up being the obsession will be dead the moment Remember Me reaches maximum tokens. That downside also means that you can't run obsession switching perks which in a way, weakens the tunneling nature of current Remember Me (In other words, perks that make you the obsession like DS or For the People can work against Remember Me)

By removing that penalty of the obsession not being affected, at least the killer doesn't need to tunnel so hard and can run obsession switching perks more freely which lets them gain more tokens. I'd say for balance purposes though, make it so you lose a token or two when the obsession gets sacrificed or killed.

  • Since Spine Chill typically forces you to either moonwalk or look at the sky, Stridor or Whispers can work. You can pick which one you want.

  • Question : Was there a primrose offering at the start of the match? Those things give extra bloodpoints for altruistic actions so that could be why they were so altruistic. For that same reason, is anyone in your team running the needle & thread or surgical suture add-ons?

  • Repressed Alliance is a good perk because it counters the Ruin Undying Tinkerer meta

Ruin is a better perk and combos better with Surveillance. Unless they changed how the two interact with one another.

Fair enough. It's just that every time I remember Surge I remember that one Otz video where he runs Surge and Surveillance on Ghostface and he occasionally talks about how great it is that you don't have to kick the generators.

  • Breakdown because even if I get hooked at least I can still contribute to my team

  • It makes Surveillance viable so it's a good perk

  • I never understood why the icon on PWYF is a spider. I mean, they'll wrap their prey with silk and stick it on their web for safekeeping but I don't think they play with it. Imagine for a short period of time, the icon for PWYF is replaced with a picture of Myers staring judgingly at an asparagus.

  • Bloodborne. It's a pretty unsettling game and I think it might fit with the lore of DbD (The Entity is secretly a Great One or something).

I'd like to see Father Gascoigne as the killer and either Iosefka or Mikolash as the survivor (The former so we can have more healing perks and the latter because he's usually running away in-game)

  • Stefano Valentini from the Evil Within 2. I imagine his ability will be similar to The Photographer from Identity V, being able to take pictures and sending survivors to a camera world. And then the only way to escape is to do tasks in said world while being hunted by The Obscura (You know, the camera headed creature). Plus it'll be an excuse to bring Joseph back as a survivor.
