  • Is it showing your aura a real buff? Not really, it's like when they changed the QoL.

  • First of all. Wouldn't that make Ivory mori be better than Evony then? Since Ivory can kill everyone?

Second, keys do need a hatch animation process, true. But they don't need to shine or so. I don't really understand why people think keys/moris are in the same level. Keys even as bothering that they can be, they're fair. If there are two survs and 4 gens done, well even if you killed two survivors that would mean they have the upper hand, many killers start with the excuse "They escaped because they had a key. Nerf them" so yes, they can bother you if you're going for the adept killer but overall, you need to work a lot in order to use the key, yes SWF can abuse it but not everyone goes into one.

  • Stridor on Spirit is a wasted perk slot, you can play her normally against Iron Will users and still win.

To me, there are only 3 things that constitute toxic behavior.

    Survivors:

Purposely ######### over your teammates by throwing all pallets when not in chase, sandbagging a teammate so they day, alerting killers to your presence by failing skill checks.

Taunting at the exit gates when you are guaranteed to get away. Personally this annoys me both when playing killer and survivor. It is just a scummy thing to do to taunt someone who has already lost. Can make the killer feel bad and really taints your win. I can accept when I team is better than me and I like learning new things, but you don't need to rub your skill in my face.

    Killer:

Hitting someone while on the hook. I know with the changes it isn't a huge issue anymore, but some killers can still do it. Even so, killers can still swing their weapon at survivor on hook. It goes back to the survivor point that you are lording your skill over someone. That said, it is dumb to do this when the game is still running. I have a bigger issue when someone is the last left and is hooked. It's just a scummy thing to do.

I agree with your comment. I do play a lot solo survivor and when I am at the exit gate it's just to see if the killer downs and hook any of my teammates so I could save them. But when there are like 10 secs and everyone seems ok then I just go away. I do believe in sportmanship, if someone does their best, they don't deserve to be laughed at. And that goes for every game/ sport.

  • For some reason I find this thread to be a low quality bait...

Anyway. Everyone at rank 20 doesn't get a single kill and that's because you're learning how to play, my brother used to do the same, I encouraged him not to camp and now he manages to 1K or 2K, with many hook constantly and without camping, that's how you learn and by the way, if you're 15 mins waiting for a queue you can simply manage to do something else in the mean time, read a novel or so. Start baking, write your own novel, practicing programming, do some push ups and sit ups (15 mins looks like nothing but if you have 3 matches that means almost one hour doing push ups and sit ups). You know, something productive so you're not wasting your time watching a screen saying "Waiting for match".

At the end of the day is up to you however you want to play or however you want to use your time but I do believe you're better than that, that you're better than saying "Ok, I will just give up" but giving up or choose to try your all and being better it's up to you, no one can make you magically better. It's a road that you need to travel by yourself and no one can travel it for you.

  • I bought Deathgarden and have those masks. I think it will be cool for those who doesn't own it now that Deathgarden isn't alive anymore.

I am very sad of deathgarden, I really loved the idea and concept, I do hope someday it will come back.

  • It's a good strategy, although being suggled for an entire 4 mins can be very boring, in which case many suvivors will opt for disconnecting.

  • But you're forgetting that Lullaby can be used with any killer. How do you expect to make it work with any killer except Huntress, since humming is a characteristic of her.

  • @brokedownpalace said:

He'll still be a good camper and a stronger killer overall so it may just get worse lol

He won't be able to hold his chainsaw ready, if he wants to camp, he can but he need to charge his chainsaw first and if he loses his charges at least you have a short amount of time to save the camped survivor.

Blocked gens don't regress meaning repressed alliance would prevent ruin regression for 30 seconds.

Oh? Is that true? I must check it.

  • @White_Owl said:

I suggest you to get Repressed Alliance if you have such problems with Ruin

LOL, you must be trolling. Represed alliance just block the gen, if the killer has ruin active then it would be very bad to use it.

  • It's fair. You could find the hatch before all the 5 gens, use a key and escape, avoiding NOED.

I don't believe any hex perk it's unfair due to the fact that it's an hex. Of coure it bothers that you can do well in a match, do bones but due to how many gen rushers there are in-game the fifth gen pops before you find the 4th totem. But in wich case, it's the survivors faul, not the killer.

  • Actually, an 8 mins match it's good. The longest the match, the more the balance incline to the killer side. Also, a +10 mins match it's very boring. The 2 mins matchs are also boring as well.

No he can just charge his saw in 1 sec while behind your back and then oneshot you, do you really want to go there? argue that myers in ANY capacity is even close to billy's power?

Actually, a good survivor will 360 him because he's slower when he holds his M2.

Hillbilly is not overpowered, there are tons of maps who has way many obstacles to his chainsaw to get stuck. And it's pretty easy to place your camera looking behind you so you know when he's going to hold his M2 so you can dodge in time.

About the fact that you're going to be screwed... well, it's an horror game, it's game design that the killer catches you if the gens are not being completed. It's not game design being able to loop a killer for 5 gens, and before you say mindgame, that is indeed a strategy but it's like a chess game with the survivor as a first player, if they doesn't make mistakes (like an experienced survivor won't) then you can mindgame all you want that you're not going to catch him.

"I'm not 'blaming my losses on matchmaking'."

"My losses are because I have drastically less time, experience, and skill in this game when compared to my opponents. But obviously matchmaking contributes to that"

Sounds like exactly what you're doing. Otherwise, there's 0 reason to bring it up in relation to your rough game.

"And if ranks have no bearing on skill, then what is the point of ranking in the first place?" There is none. That's my point. Their rank system is "broken." It doesn't measure skill. you may not think it's broken, but it is. Anybody who knows anything about how the pip system works knows this.

"I mean that's great. I'm happy for you. But legitimate matchmaking systems exist out there, where the player's competition is adjusted based on their skill level in order to provide a fair game." I mean, that's great. But that isn't how it works in DbD.

You say yourself, the devs are reworking the system. You think there's a reason for that, perhaps?

"Honestly? It speaks volumes that you're pretending I'm entitled because I want fair matches that scale with skill, and I don't want to play hundreds of hours of miserable, joyless, one-sided matches for until I "git gud" and they finally start matching me with some new players." Honestly? It speaks volumes that you're trying to put words in my mouth because I criticize what you're complaining about, and don't want to read hundreds of posts of miserable, joyless, one-sided people.

I am saying that rank has nothing to do with skill. Take it how you will, but anything beyond that is just your imagination and feelings making things up.

But yea, I'm toootally acting like you're entitled when I say "It's scapegoating because you're blaming the matchmaking (where ranks have no bearing on skill) on the fact that you lost." Don't really think you're aware of what that word means.

Actually, ranks does matter. Red ranks play way differently, even a green rank play differently than a red rank. Red ranks will run the meta perks at tier III. It's like those boxing coachs that say to newbies "punch before you get punched" and they spar like those newbies where professionals when obviously they lack of skill and experience and you say "well, it's the newbie fault" and it's not true, the newbie need to start somewhere and learn skills, spar with someone who is more or less the same experience or if it's a coach, lower your lever so the newbie can get some skills.

The game checks which server you have the best connection to when you start it. The language you're set to on your PS4 has nothing to do with it.

I know you're not on that team but I saw a thread months ago and had no replies, except for some users who had the same problem.

There is an issue with south america servers, I have a good connection 60ms with my server. But there are times where my ping goes all way up to 300ms, generally from 6 pm EST to 8 pm EST or 9 pm EST and when I check on the other player's profile they appear as to be located in UK so I want to ask if you possibly can give me an answer (because I know you're not into that part of the team) if the South America servers are being shut down and it relocates player to another server or what kind of problem could this be.

    Thanks for your reply. :)

  • LOL. Why people can't see the issue here?

"You got 2k"... you're missing the point

"You're using Bubba"... you're missing the point

"You're using NOED"... you're missing the point.

The point is... He's a green rank and he was set up with red ranks. If you ever hit red ranks you would know how different that is from green ranks. If he's in green ranks it means he is not that good to be paired with red ranks, yet he managed somehow to kill two of them, wich instead of saying "you're not entitled to 4K" I would say, it's great that even if you were set up with red ranks, players who are far experienced than you, you still managed to have 2K

Pretty much the same except I don't care about licenses.

The only reason I'm not playing deathgarden as we speak is because BHVR stopped supporting it

I didn't get to play too much but Deathgarden was the game, the idea was great (well, pretty much the same idea as DBD if we are exigents) , yes there were problems like scavengers jumping higher than the killer so they could reach a spot where the killer would never be able to catch them but overall was a good design.

Distortion only hide your aura. Combine this new OoO you can hide aura but also see killer aura. Literally uno reverse card and very interesting to counter BBQ.

And i agree, OoO is annoying for both Solo(Too risky, especially if stealth killer) and Killer(Free wall hack & they have voice call). Unbalance for SWF.

I really REALLY wish they change it

Well, but you can't use distortion for ever. You only have a few tokens so it will be fine.

Would I be able to get a source? Was there a post or video? Are they really planning on changing Hill Billy?

The Addons could use a change.

Being able to stack Primer Bulb and Carburettor Tuning Guide is pretty crazy. Or Thompson's Mix with the Bulb or Guide is also very strong. Especially in maps with fewer pallets/harder to find, or maybe someone used a lot of them. That is when stacking these addons can shred about any team, as the reaction time has to be known, and the Billy can trick you still with the revving time. Needless to say, it is quite strong in certain scenarios, and it makes short work of pallets in general.

He does not need such stacking to be strong. His base-kit is good enough. I say give him some sort of Ultra Rare or 2, since every killer gets that. Make Thompson's Mix not have the "Chainsaw Charge Time" effect, and remove Primer Bulb. Then the only one with "Chainsaw Charge Time" reduction is Tuning Guide. One effect like this is plenty. Of course, it would slightly nerf him, at least in the Addon department. Billy is quite balanced without addons as I said before though, and I do think even with addons he is still very balanced. But he can still get looped into oblivion by any competent survivor.

I do not think Billy should be one of their main focus's of concern, but what do I know.

Those are just my suggestions. Regardless, I will be highly critical of any and all changes they might make to my personal favorite and go to killer of the past 4 years. I can guarantee you that.

We’re back with another Developer Update, a series of blogposts detailing various changes coming to Dead by Daylight in the near future. This time around, we’re diving into everything chainsaw related, as well as some quality of life improvements coming to the game.

    The Cannibal Update

In the 4.1.0 update, we’ve taken some time to revisit Leatherface, as well as some of his perks and his add-ons.

    Base Kit Changes

First, The Cannibal’s chainsaw now activates like the Hillbilly’s, rather than needing to be fully charged and then released. This small change prevents instances where you release the button a sliver too early and cancel your chainsaw accidentally. You won’t want to hold it for too long, though, or else Leatherface will go into a tantrum.

Bubba’s Chainsaw now has three charges by default. When starting your Chainsaw Sweep, one of these charges will be consumed. Pressing the power button again while the sweep is active will refresh it and consume another charge, allowing you to continue using your chainsaw for another two seconds. You’ll want to assess the situation carefully, though: Each charge you use will also extend the tantrum and missed attack cooldown, so using more charges can backfire if you’re not able to follow through. Charges refill automatically at a rate of one every few seconds.

Additionally, Leatherface’s maximum movement speed while using his power has been increased from 5.06m/s to 5.29m/s. This, in conjunction with the other changes mentioned above, will make The Cannibal feel much better to play as and much more threatening to play against.

Here’s a preview of the changes in action…

    https://youtu.be/IcB3fSRGZs8

    Add-on Changes

We’ve done a pass on The Cannibal’s add-ons, with nearly all of them receiving some sort of change. These changes will modernize his add-ons and bring them in line with the standards for Killer add-ons, which are:

    • 4 common
    • 5 uncommon
    • 5 rare
    • 4 very rare
    • 2 ultra rare

There’s far too many add-ons to list them all here, but here’s a few examples of what you can expect:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/XPOBE76FO6TB/annotation-2020-06-29-153000-2.png

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/YXGSNHT6EJSB/annotation-2020-06-29-153000-3.png

We’re looking forward to seeing what you guys can do with these new add-ons!

    Perk Changes

Finally, we’ve reviewed some of Leatherface’s perks to make them more appealing.

    Franklin’s Demise

Your vicious attacks make the Survivors drop their item on impact.

The lost item will be consumed by the Entity after 120/100/90 seconds if it is not picked up before the timer runs out.

Reveal the aura of items on the ground within 32/32/32 meters in a white aura. The aura of items fade to red until they are consumed by the Entity.

    Knock Out

Survivors put into the dying state by your basic attacks are not revealed to other Survivors when they are standing outside of a 32/24/16 meter range.

Survivors put into the dying state by your basic attacks crawl 50/50/50% slower for 15/15/15 seconds.

During this time, Survivors are affected by the Blindness status effect.

    The Hillbilly Update

Keeping with the theme of everything chainsaws, The Hillbilly is also receiving some changes in this update. For the most part, we are happy with the way The Hillbilly performs. His power is very versatile, allowing him to quickly traverse the map, zone out Survivors and instantly down them. From a Survivor’s perspective, there is also a reasonable amount of counterplay, leading to interesting chases where the best player often comes out on top.

    Base Kit Changes

Given that we’re already pretty happy with the way The Hillbilly performs, the changes to his base kit are minimal. We are not removing any of the options you have with his chainsaw (traversal, feathering, curving, etc.). Instead, we want to focus on the skill-based gameplay and put an emphasis on using your chainsaw effectively, only adding a small drawback to misusing your chainsaw.

In 4.1.0, The Hillbilly’s chainsaw will now feature a new Overheat mechanic. Revving the chainsaw will now cause it to accumulate heat, which can be seen both in the lower left corner around the power icon and on the chainsaw itself. Sprinting with the chainsaw will also cause it to heat up as a much lower rate. This heat will dissipate over time whenever the chainsaw is not being used.

If the Overheat meter fills up completely, it can no longer be used until it has completely cooled down. When this happens, it will cool down at an increased rate. If the chainsaw overheats as you are sprinting, your sprint will not be interrupted.

The goals behind this change is to add a small drawback to misusing the chainsaw, and to add a bit more depth to the chainsaw with resource management.

Check out the Overheat mechanic in action…

    https://youtu.be/HJK95Srk5WI

    Add-on Changes

Like The Cannibal, we’ve done a pass on The Hillbilly’s add-ons and brought them up to date with the rest of the roster. Once again, we can’t list all of them here, but we look forward to seeing what you can do with them!

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/CMS4F21QWIF7/annotation-2020-07-02-145502.png

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/DIV4KIXNNNNC/annotation-2020-07-02-145502-3.png

    Perk Changes

We’ve also taken the opportunity to revisit two of The Hillbilly’s lesser used perks and spruce them up.

    Lightborn

Unlike other beasts of The Fog, you have adapted to light. You are immune to blindness caused by flashlights and firecrackers. Survivors that attempt blinding you have their aura revealed for 6/8/10 seconds.

    Tinkerer

When a Generator is repaired to 70% repair progress, it triggers a loud noise notification and you are granted the Undetectable status effect for 12/14/16 seconds.

    Server Improvements

Currently, hits are handled on the Killer’s end. If they appear to be within range of a Survivor, they will be able to hit them. In most cases, this works well: The Killer is able to reliably hit Survivors, and the Survivors see roughly the same thing on their end with a small amount of latency. If the Killer has a weak connection to the server, however, it can cause some strange looking hits that appear to be out of range, most notably at pallets and windows.

During this upcoming Player Test Build (PTB), we’ll be testing Server Side Hit Validation. Any time the Killer hits a Survivor, the server will check and see if the hit was possible within a reasonable margin. If the Survivor was too far to be hit, the hit is negated.

To put it simply, if you have a stable connection, you won’t notice any difference as the Killer. Your hits will still appear instantaneously and should not be rejected. As a Survivor, however, a Killer with a weak connection should no longer be able to hit your from further away due to their high latency.

Second, we'll be increasing the tick rate of our servers from 30Hz to 60Hz. Basically, this means that the servers sends out information twice as frequently as before, so what you see as a result is more accurate.

We will be monitoring these changes closely over the course of the PTB before proceeding further.

    Promo Code System

Last but not least, a new promo code system will appear in the in-game store. This system is exactly as it sounds: It allows you to redeem a promo code for in-game goodies on any platform.

Starting will the mid-chapter update, you’ll notice a “Redeem Code” button in the featured page of the store. Clicking this button will bring up a menu where you can enter your promo code to unlock a reward. These rewards can be anything from clothing to Bloodpoints, or even Auric Cells.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/4EQ0V3MZHY61/code.png

Keep your eyes peeled once this system goes out, you’ll have a chance to get some codes soon!

This brings us to the end of the July 2020 Developer Update. All of the changes and new features mentioned above will be available for testing in the Player Test Build, opening Tuesday, July 7th. We look forward to hearing what you think once you’ve had a chance to try them out!

I'm saying all other killers shouldn't have to be slowed down when doing their abilities

It's about balance. I mean, the game is not balanced in many aspects but imagine if PH could use his ranged ability without punishment or huntress could wind up at normal speed.

Of course, I do agree that some aspects need to be changed like Why the killers go slower than a survivor when they are carrying? Why do you need a perk (Agitation) in tier II in order to exceed them?

Ignoring the dozen plus posts about this very issue 1 of witch was done by a youtuber but yeah it's just me..guess I'm the only one with sense

Actually... it makes no sense, there are a lot of people who complains about flashlight saves (me included) but that doesn't mean I am right (And yes, I do accept when I am wrong).

Anyway, this change won't change anything in the way I play PH because when I sent someone to a cage I didn't mind where they went at all and I don't mind now. Just keep patrolling gens like normal.

Tunneling is a very effective strategy for obvious reasons but it hurts your skills as a player because it doesn't allow you to grow and improve those skills.

I practice nurse every now and then. On a good day when I can predict right and hit blinks, it feels so damn good to play her. On an off day when I can't even blink through a pallet, I ask myself why I even bother.

Same, I am in a love/hate relationship with her where love comes when I can land blinks and hate when I can't blink or I go to the second floor when I wasn't looking at it.

  • @cheetocultleader said:

OOPS. I wish I could take my vote back. I love piggu. x'3

  • Nah, you're fine. Personally I am bad (and dislike to play as) as Nurse because I think she's punished way too much but I believe if I was better with her power I wouldn't dislike her.

  • @RaSavage42 said:

I have yet to purchase PH yet so my opinion isn't formed completely yet... but from what I've seen it's best to not see cages

Game sense is important to make a killer like PH work (and I'll most likely have a hard time learning cause I'm late to the party... as usual)

But I play a lot of Pig and it can be a distraction to see the Jigsaw Boxes on top of gens and whatever else is in my FOV

So it there a build I should look for or is it better to learn what to use?

Unfortunately no one wants to admit that camping and tunneling has been made more and more necessary because of all the second chance perks survivors have now. Whether people agree or not, the game is incredibly survivor sided. If you look around on the forums the big three complaints are NoED, camping and tunneling. Yet, almost no one who complains about this stuff wants to know why it's happening. Their answer to killers is "git gud" or "gg ez".

Camping and tunneling are almost required now because of many things wrong with balance. While I don't think "gen rushing" is real, the speed of completion is when you have killers that just can't do map pressure. You have SWF groups - not all - who are playing the game JUST to make the killers experience miserable. You have a lot of second chance perks that reward you for bad play. You get to ######### about NoED while refusing to cleanse totems and think that's okay. Lately a lot of survivors want to do less work for more reward, and that's not okay.

Before talking about killers, I want to mention I think camping is a waste of time. And calling something tunneling is useless since survivors call anything tunneling these days. Going for an injured survivor that you unhooked in front of the killer isn't tunneling, it's your own ######### up.

Killers get to manage time, gens, chases, totems, gens, hooking etc. They would get looped at god loops (which is being changed for the most part). They lose hex perks because totem placement is #########, and lit totems are the only ones survivors ever cleanse then ######### about NoED. They get called "tunneling/camping pieces of #########" because survivors unhook their friends in front of them and expect them to go for the healthy person. They have to counter multiple second chance perks which are countered by wait for it..... slugging. Then they have to chase you again because you had yet another second chance perk.

TL;DR - Survivors have so many second chance perks that they're only countered by slugging and tunneling. Camping is just bad for a killer unless the exits are open.

Slugging? yes. Tunneling, no, that's why the second chance perks are there in the first place.

  • Well let's point here why it's better to use a cage sometimes

    .It's an insta- hook.

. You avoid the traveling time wich allows you to do other things like keep patrolling gens.

    .You avoid flash saves.

.You avoid a possible sabo squad.

.The meta perks DS an BT are useless in cages so even if you want to tunnel you can do it

    Do you need more reasons?

Equipping BBQ and Pop is now considered "Forever freddy" as well? I can agree you call it this way when he uses Pop, Thana, Dying Light and two Slowdown Addons. But if it's just pop, it's hardly different then every other killer using pop, except that he's faster on a gen.

I think that he meant the build of Thana and Dying Light is called forever Freddy.

I just had a game with most of the low-down build perks. I won in the end but the match was insanely long.

  • At first I agreed with you, but seeing the perk in action. If the generator aura is not highlighted you have no way to know if he's using said perk or perhaps he's using a hack to hide his TR or if simply it's a bug.

I would agree that the Undetectable status effect should last for 20 seconds or so. At the moment it works perfectly on indoor maps. Since they are small you can travel a long distance in 15 seconds.

  • I had a match against a SWF yesterday, geez it was like I couldn't make a single mistake. I end the match with a 3K but I didn't enjoy at all. Those 4 were really a sweaty SWF. Thankfully they didn't know how to loop properly nor they had meta perks but when they learn how to loop properly or they get DS in they builds...

You can't make someone shut up only cause you dont agree with him.

What about you git gud? maybe you're not as good as you think you are.

When did he say he's good?

  • Agree. I hitted red ranks as survivor but went back to green. Red rank only cares for rushing, no totems, no interacting with the killer, just fix the gens and escape using the meta perks. I am not a good killer, that's why I am in yellow ranks. And yes, I want to get better but that doesn't mean I want to wait +10 mins for a 3 mins match, even if I end having a 4K it's not fun to finish the match so soon.

  • Well, Ormond isn't a well designed map. I mean, they changed of the structures near Ormond wich makes it a bit easier but the entire resort may be a god loop. With the pallet on the second floor.

I understand that its something that becomes active when there is a perk that activates it, but I'm still confused as to its purpose with certain perks that don't give any advantage or disadvantage and it just exists, like with Blood Pact or For the People.

I've seen times when I die as the obsession that I then get 1,000 Blood points.

Does the killer get similar bloodpoints for interacting with the Obsession in a way when a perk on the survivor side activates the mechanic but it doesn't actually interact with any killer perks?

With some perks they only make the Obsession mechanic activate but dont really do anything to change how you want to play with the obsession, so I'm confused about it.

When Halloween DLC chapter came, then it has sense having an obsession. Being the obsession meant that you could activate decisive strike when the killer picked you up (In those days decisive worked since the start from the match until the moment the killer decided to pick you when you were downed), if you weren't the obsession then you had to wiggle until certain percent of the wiggle bar.

Unless it's Blood pact, now the obsession mechanic it's just to tell you if there are perks like Decisive Strike in the match or not.

  • Surveillance is a good perk. I don't know why people underestimate it. Even without ruin, surveillance is great. Better since it was reworked.

  • Well, english is my second language so I appreciate when someone types it correctly. I am not saying my spelling it's the best but there are mistakes and mistakes, some people type incorrectly because it's easier or take less time (it happens in my own language as well), wich creates what in spanish we call a "language bad habit", meaning someone writes incorrectly, you copy that mistake and then it's too hard for you to unlearn it, which affects you if you try to get a better job in which you need to know said language. I do agree that we are not perfect and being corrected get us angry but... it's part of the learning. If you see my games as killer/ survivor, you would probably correct me in the same way. I can't be angry for that.

  • Yes. Every other game has a way to ban camping. With the recquired proof. And yes, everything that ruins the game should be a bannable offense. It's about being a healthier game.

I can recall devs saying infinites recquired to be good for the game and had to stay. That was hurting the game, a lot. Right?

Camping is easy to prove with a video proof.

  • I do believe that it will be nice if we have some of the new status effect in trapper as well. Like "escaping the trap inflicts the oblivious status effect for 60 seconds"

Also, the chances for a survivor to escape are 25% so an add-on that decreases the chances of escaping from a bear trap per trap disarmed by that survivor would be fine.

Are you legit shocked people are doing this? The killer is basically being handed a power. They choose wether they want to be decent and just say, why not, leave and earn that cosmetic. Or, I'm going to camp you and refuse you a cosmetic because I can. It's a power trip to many killers because they know many people just want to earn that cosmetic, but most likely won't because of killers like this. Personally, I always let the survivors leave if they have the crown. I'd rather they earn it for their survivors than have to struggle over and over trying to earn it.

I am not shocked, just tired. My friends always tell me not to change myself because I am very kind to them, always ask if they need something, I am not saying this because I want to brag or so. I am just asking. Can we all put a bit of effort in being nice to another person? Perhaps and just perhaps if we started doing such a thing then the world will become a better place.

  • I am not saying that killers should let survivors escape, I am saying that when there is some sort of event. Always this happens and it's get tiresome because the "not power role", gets frustrated over not being able to play. If you're laughing about something like that then you should have no doubt about why the world it's in such bad behaviour.

Despite there being no DS in my matches (sometimes I've been running it but I'm also doing challenges so DS tends to be my "replaced perk"), the amount of tunneling without an obsession has actually gone down for me.

Why? Because people aren't unhooking in the killer's terror radius anymore. So I don't get clapped and then picked up within 15 seconds. People are also like, y'know, running away after being unhooked to either gtfo or to go heal (or both), instead of "I'MMA GO IMMEDIATELY BACK ON A GEN HYUK" and then complain that they were being tunneled.

There was only one match where I saw someone get tunneled to death and ironically that was because this Dwight kept unhooking this poor Jane ten feet from a trapper. Without BT. Is that really the killer's fault or the Dwight for being an ass?

It's almost like when you don't get unhooked ten feet from the killer and/or retreat from the hook, you don't get tunneled the large vast majority of the time. Amazing.

It was the opposite for me, when I don't use DS/BT in the match, we tend to be tunneled or camped because they won't have "any punishment"

  • I hear you. Killers feel the need to camp when there's a lot of party streamers or event cakes. I mean What's the point? You're going to win tons of points even if you have 0k, no need to be a tryhard.

There was a huntress that tunneled me just because I have won a crown, I guess part of it it's the devs fault for not explaining the event. Some players think that there are just one crown for the entire team.

That's sad, I'm sorry. But to cheer you up a little bit, I got a game where the killer carried me to exit gate because I was wearing a crown. That was the one of the best moments of this year. Not because I got the skin, because it felt like someone wantes to make someone happy 😊.

Well, that's nice. We do need less toxicity in the game.
