Hey there! Thanks for flagging this. Would you be able to report this on BetaHub (including your player logs and/or video if you're able)? That way, the team can look into this.
https://app.betahub.io/projects/pr-5642738318
Essentially, if anything ever feels out of the ordinary and it hasn't been mentioned in patch notes, don't hesitate to flag it on BetaHub. That's the most direct way to get it in front of the team to investigate and determine whether there might be a bug at play.
How do you report input delay or action delay like this? Because it's hard to show in clips/screenshots, do you have a suggested way to do that for you and the dev team?

MnK support was supposed to come to console in the QoL roadmap they did, have not heard about it at all since then tho.
Hopefully they fix the console input delay also

I do wish the animations and character models were better. I understand they’re limited by the game engine but it would be nice if the graphics were on par with the latest Mortal Kombat game so we can have fatality level moris
It has nothing to do with the game engine, we're on UE5. MK1 is on UE4 btw the most recent one for example
Survivor animations inparticular really need more polish, male survivors fingers still cross while healing other survivors etc. -
I guess more reason to look forward to the mid chapter for more QoL changes!
-
I would love bond base kit honestly, I love the perk so much for my solo q play

I couldn’t agree more for Claire too!
Yet they should just give Claire & Chris proper survivor status so we can get more cosmetics for them.
And to make our custom outfits with them too,
Not silly unfun legendaries!
They did just do multiple legendaries for the same attack on titan character that cost the same price, so there is no reason we can't have more Claire and Chris
-
It locks the pallet off for 60 seconds, which can actually backfire for the survivors, there is a few anti pallet killers and perks you could use maybe to counter it. Honestly feel it's fine to experiment with new kinds of perks for survivor especially now Diminishing returns exists.
-
Yeah I'm not sure I'd call that problematic, that's just the perks doing their job

Let's give survivor more hand holding because that will totally not be abused by swfs like every other hand holding mechanic is
It's not even hand holding, this is more an idea to tackle the more severe slugging situations to keep the game going. Holy us vs them kneejerk reaction lol
I even say the original anti-slug was way too powerful, you're just ragebaiting people. -
with a pinch of salt, The cabin is mentioned in Unknowns add-ons I'm certain, and so is the campsite, the second "Killer" has a mask listed in the addons too, it might be all things wicked part 2.
Unknown is known to mess with electronics also. it also ties into All things wicked's teasers. -
I said it in another thread, I'll say it here:
-Use the 2v8 anti slug and adapt it to 1v4, it doesnt take away killer slugging agency just the long term
-Tie it to exhaustion so it can't be paired with exhaustion perks for an easy getaway
The first iteration was really overtuned, by using the 2v8 version we can stop extreme cases while not giving survivors a get out of every slugging situation for free, this also makes the perks not need much change either:
-Make unbreakable work at 70 percent once while the normal anti slug can only be used at max whilst you have no exhaustion (or a unique CD).
-Upon using it you become exhausted for 60+(or more) seconds. -
We'll find out as time goes on, as it stands right now, it's too early to tell as they said they wanted this to be an iterative process where they keep evolving it and perks as they go.

There isn't a reason.
Every time we have a discussion like this, an excuse comes up. Fast Track, survivors "weaponizing" anti-tunnel perks even though you are never forced to chase someone who just got unhooked, and the list goes on and on endlessly.
There is no excuse. Slugging, and I don't mean slugging once or twice to avoid a pallet save or a flashlight save, I mean as a playstyle, happens simply because it is effective, especially against solo queue.
It doesn't help that the most powerful anti-slugging tools either require set up or have a limited use. At least the abandon feature lets you get out of what certainly was a miserable game.
DBD needs some form of basekit anti-slug. It doesn't have to be the exact same thing as we had before, but it needs to happen.
As I said earlier, 2v8 is a great place to look for it. IDK why the 1v4 Anti-Slug we recieved was so overtuned, we didn't need moving while recovering, gradually increased speeds and the ability to always be able to pick yourself up.
Tying the self pick up to exhaustion or an internal CD or both could be a way to do it, like how it works in 2v8 with the class abilities. but it's all we need, it doesn't remove short term option, it just stops more extreme cases.
That way they don't need to change perks like unbreakable or tenacity drastically and it doesn't affect the core game loop too much, can just tune how long it inflicts exhaustion/cooldown. -
The thing I wish BHVR would realise is the way they implemented the Anti-Slug was way too strong, it didn't need scrapped it needed brought closer to 2v8's
2v8 is a perfect example of anti-slug that's not abusable on either side. Just tie the pick up to exhuastion instead so it can't be combo'd with exhaustion perks. -
well the reveal time is Japan friendly, so maybe it's a Japanese IP. it would be odd to choose a different time to reveal a western IP.

I don't know how content-driven other people are but I couldn't care less about new chapters. This game has enough characters and perks already. I don't even pay attention to the Quests, and tomes I just set to something and let them happen naturally. The only thing I guess I want is Rifts/cosmetics, but that's probably not too demanding.
I play the game because I want to play the game, not because there's a bunch of new crap all the time. And I'd much rather them focus on improving the game them pumping out said crap, all of which is buggy anyway.
Yeah I'd rather the game get meaningful polish.
Operation health though was the time to do it, it's just really sad they messed it up so badly. -
I'd have to go with dissolution on killer side, it enables killers who are way too strong with it (Krasue/Ghoul).
As for survivor side, probably current dead hard, not because its strong but the servers seem to have really jank interactions with it (you swing after waiting way longer than 0.5s and it still lands). I honestly would prefer if it was just a dodge again, remove the distance. Like I'd argue even the distance in old DBD was just because the game was slower, Dramaturgy proves that much that it'd be fine now. -
I asked for them to change Escapist so we can have classes like Dramaturgy Scene partner and Head on etc
-
I don't really feel perks should interact with powers in this way, because it's probably one of his best perks now because of it.
-
It's mainly the servers can't keep up with the high mobility killers, so the hit reads awfully. The only way they could really fix it is by improving the netcode/servers to account for high mobility, or slowing all said killers down.
-
Is this the Lara Skin? IDK why it has a Jingle it interacts with the light clear as day, it's like a lighter grey so I'm not really sure why people think it's camo lol
Like it's way darker in the source material I feel they went overkill with the sound and the aesthetic, make it one or the other.
-
I miss the days when I mostly played against huntress, she is so fun to play against. I want more killers like that
I think I agree that Blight had a pandora's box effect on the game, though really the concepts existed so long as nurse has been in the game. -
There's been one for Claire Redfield's hands being broken on there since January that's been "Open" with all the correct documentation and proof. It's been ignored and the only reason I can guess why (coz all the other cosmetic ones reported later have been fixed):
-She is recieving an update
-They don't care/havn't noticed itits not minor either, her fingers are broken on both hands. So I feel you on the bug reports feeling ignored.
-
Franklins + Weave attunement is really good, its awful to go against if you have dramaturgy LOL
-
Yeah survivors just need new animations in general, even with the bug fixes arms and fingers break and faces too LOL
-
I love it on my ranged killers coz it really helps us save travel time being slower at 110, I get a lot of value on Trickster and Huntress.
-
I havn't played any 1v4 to know, but if you are having an issue I really strongly recommend you post it on BetaHub coz I use the perk often and would be grateful LOL
I'll check it out when I eventually return to 1v4 I'm just taking a break and mainly playing events until I see Ghoul bug fixes/changes, because I ain't dealing with that no more. -
I don't really find he is OP, just bugged rn lol
I really enjoy facing him so I'm okay with people playing him. Oni on the other hand is the one killer I'm tired of, his hits read so awful when they do the turn/flick thing w/e it is. -
my go to build for trickster rn is:
-Turn back the clock
-Bamboozle
-Furitive Chase
-Friends til the end
I am the same where I just dislike using pain res, but I don't really play high mobility characters, I much prefer throwing things at people LOL -
Yes I don't even play Wesker and I figured this would just be an alternative for him

Nice work, if quite unnecessary in my opinion.
She's in the game and thus should be available.
People crying over killers working as intended in 2v8 are weird. Oh no, the runny stabby guy is runny stabbing around the map with 2x the targets. Just ignore theres also 2x the number of people who can heal each other.

Ive seen some idea recently that lockers should simply only show the relevant ammo assets for the person opening the locker, so its hatchets for huntress, knives for trickster and dwight for the rest.
Yeah thats a great idea!

I didn't really make it very clear so I've made a quick edit, but I'm not actually in favour of voice or text chat in DbD. I was just giving a couple of thoughts on them in my post because they're very common suggestions, but I don't think they're good solutions — a big reason being exactly what you've described here.
Yeah, I feel this is a great imbetween of pings and like premade messages. It gives enough information but also not too much. I really like the idea and it'd allow me to run my item goblin build in solo Q to supply my team with potential items even.
Or even be a bit better with cleansing totems etc or even head on, I love the head on idea -
I agree I'd love all of those you mentioned, I'd also like to add in trickster, I don't see why they can't just add the knives in between the hatchets in the locker so they can both reload without an issue visually.
-
speed addons are definately an issue still, other than that i do enjoy playing against him more now.
-
I love this idea bar the text/voice chat, I don't trust anyone in DBD when they all harass peoples profiles on platforms when they lose as it is.
-
Honestly Escapist is ruining the opportunnities for more exhaustion based classes like:
-Head on/deception class
-Overcome/duty of care class
-Background Player for the torchbearer
AoE sprint burst forcing exhaustion on everyone really dilutes the potential of giving survivors more ways to play in the future, I think it needs changed. Could instead make it have a vigil effect that brings the 40s to 20s where it currently is for all classes -

while i get why we dont get such icons for all the diffrent people that are available via legendary skins legion deffenitly is a special case with all four of them being legion and not just a skin
Considering the p100 is a border though, IDK why it can't just be applied to the legendaries too since its probably just a bit of extra code at this stage.

Man most people on here are survivor players, you ain't gonna get downvoted lmfao.
I find a lot of people here play both sides from my experience, judging by your posts you're relatively new to have that assumption. Plenty of Killer mains and Survivor mains too, I just think people mostly agree Kaneki is boring.

Unknown? i love that, ive only gone against one though.
They are rare, I love playing against them too. The whole analogue horror marketing for them etc really pulled me in, I also feel its one of the most unique aesthetically unlicensed killers.
-
it's mainly her synergy with dissolution which can be oppressive I find, that and she feels like a solo Q stomper mainly coz she gets countered so hard by any bodyblocking.
-
I love Unknown, using stealth builds and jumpscaring people is always fun
in 2v8 I main Huntress rn, having so many targets to throw things at is just so much fun, win or lose. -
Wait is it being removed when 2v8 is over? I hope not

i was mainly thinking about post rework and people still dc-ing against chase merchant, or laser tag merchant.
Still extremely unfair that these players who straight up refused to learn a simple, intuitive counterplay, got what they wanted in the end.
Yeah, I will admit I was one of the ones who said I didn't like her (mainly the 3 genning), but I didn't think she'd be made useless. Originally I was optimistic the changes would be better in game than it is on paper.
She is kind of in the same bin with Invocations/teamwork/overture of doom perks etc. That health initiative really should have been spending time making these things more viable and healthier for the game. -
@Slurp_Ramen said:
survivors can’t bother to learn the counterplay for skull merchant and ghoul because it challenges them, so they dc.
See how incredibly dumb that sounds?
Slugging is part of the game, gen speed, second chance, slow down, tunneling, exhaustion perks are all part of the game. Stop with the double standards and being mad at one side for using one of these mechanics while you abuse the same mechanics on the other end.
Skull Merchant was genuinley an issue back before the 3 gen prevention, I honestly wouldn't mind seeing her 2 scanlines come back with the current changes to see how she does especially now the window tech with the claw trap is gone.
Ghoul on the other hand, you can learn that counterplay all you want, bamboozle + Dissolution on them has zero counterplay, revault the pallet, get downed, try to play around a window: get bit or blocked off and go down.
sorry if you meant it more as a joke, it's just. I'd not mind Skully being buffed and Ghoul getting some changes to make them more fun to play against honestly. -

There are 52 survivors and the only difference between them is appearance. Killer's are unique, the game is built around them. That isn't a dig on survivors or how survivors play.
Oh no that's not what I'm really getting at, I'm on about the survivors who've came in are just as iconic if not more than some licensed killers.
Like I get what you are saying, but there is nothing stopping them from giving the survivors more unique animations and emotes and the like to make them FEEL like the character you are playing. rather than just an outfit. -

In defense of Ellen "not Sigourney" Ripley, they're using the comic likeness sorta because of the way Weaver feels IRL about violent video games IIRC. It's unfortunate but I'll take whatever Final Girl rep we can get.
Yeah I knew about Sigourney but I didnt know about the comic look, still is odd, it's more like it's odd they chose her but not the others. if her eyes were just not like wide open she'd probably look a lot better, maybe it's a bug in game like it was for Ada. It's mainly her eyes lol
this is how they think she looks
This is how she looked in match, when I used to play as her I dont have old creenies but her lobby animation seems to have been tidied up the eyes dont seem as wide open as before. Or I'm just misremembering and it's in game only
-
@Mr_K said:
The games draw are its killers. As and against.
I feel it's also because the survivor animations and models for Licensed characters are more often than not unappealing, Claire Redfield's hands are still broken, when you point as her she has claw hands etc. Not to mention shoulders still collapse and dislocate despite being "fixed".
Leon with his perfectly circular open mouth and vacant lifeless stare, another character people would love to play as but just looks really wierd in the game. If they put half the effort into what they do for Killer designs people would be really happy to play as their fav horror icons.
Also I'd like to point out Heather (Cheryl) is so busted looking they wouldn't even use her against her own killer. Yet for some reason used Legally distinct ripley for Xenomorph. -
@Kupega said:
I would chalk it up to the killer's being more recognisable and visually distinct than than a group of 10 people
Except having both would have detracted nothing from it. Would have been nice to celebrate the survivors too of the fog
