115 seconds on a gen solo at 4 stacks.
Fun :)

Why in the world did they nerf the stun?? That's just incentivizing killers to go after the person that just DSed them.
It makes zero sense. DS will be really easy to shrug off now.
-
No idea why they added a speed penalty to it.
-
Yeah, these changes really aren't it. Camping and tunneling are just going to become far more effective.
-
These basekit endurance changes are completely insignificant, on top of making DS easy to shrug off. Tunneling and Camping will be better than ever.

For speed killers like Hillbilly or Oni is perfect, as It tells you where to apply pressure while duscouraging camping by making you go quite far. And now with dredge lockers are no longer a huge deal.
My guy this is like the second thread you've necroed from 2019.
-
4.4m/s and 4.6m/s killers don't really have that much difference when walking across a map (there's only like a second difference when walking 100m), it's mainly in a chase where it matters. 4.4m/s killers have strong chase powers, which is why they're 4.4.

No and im pretty sure you know what i mean without the trolling thanks
Trolling? It genuinely sounds like you're annoyed at looping. If that's the case I'd recommend playing a different game.
-
Yes, please turn it back up, it's so quiet now.
-
Yeah, can confirm this is happening, it's quite annoying when it does.
-
Yeah, it's way too quiet now. Turn it up please.

you could make nurse 4.6 and make her not start with her power. 2 hits required to blink for 45 seconds. -7 duration when nurse down someone with ability.
maybe they do that given that there has been recent amount of nurse-complaints lately, what huge nerf that would be to nurse.
Or they could not do that, since both Nurse and Oni are fine.

Why nurse can then start with her power which is much more powerful than oni's. Nurse should be like oni is now.
Because Nurse moves at 3.8m/s. She literally can't hit survivors without using her power. Both Oni and Nurse have drawbacks accompanying their power.

They are now general perks. I assume it will be like now in that you don’t unlock them by levelling up those character because they are already “unlocked”.
Yeah, but they're still displayed as attributed to the character they came from for Stranger Things DLC owners. @MandyTalk could we get a clarification on this if possible? It'd be nice to know.
-
When the Dredge places the remnant, you basically have to leave the loop. He moves much slower than you (like 3.6m/s) while he's charging the teleport, so you'll be able to make some distance.
If you see a group of lockers right next to each other (as in 2 directly side by side), you only need to lock one at a time. Dredge's teleport will always prioritise the locked locker in the group. That said, be careful about nearby unlocked lockers that aren't part of the group, he can exit from those just fine.
As with Nightfall, your best friend is map knowledge. When Nightfall is close to activating, there'll be a sound cue and darkness will appear momentarily. At this point, you'll want to make a note of the nearby loops, so you know where to run if he decides to chase you.
-
There is a very good reason Oni doesn't start with his power. The fact that he has to play as an m1 killer is what balances Blood Fury being so strong.

Big win for the one person on planet earth that uses sole survivor
@TheClownIsKing would be very happy. If only he was on the forums to see it :(
-
True, at least they're giving one of the terror-radius based perks a facelift.
-
The implications are certainly concerning, especially considering the fact that they completely wrote off making it basekit in any form.
-
Getting old? It got old years ago.

Still not acknowledged as of 6.0.1

I must of missed the memo on Midwhich being killer sided. It's hard to patrol for anyone who isnt nurse, and now maybe onyro and dredge. The pallets are plenty safe and god windows with doors that you have to break.
The majority of pallets on that map are unsafe. Midwich has the highest kill rate in the game, I'm pretty sure it's safe to call it killer sided.
-
Midwich? Survivor Sided? What???
-
Yeah, I hope they don't change it too much.
-
Yeah, I really miss the old lighting. The Realm Beyond just made a lot of maps look kinda bland.

Exit Gates take 20 seconds to open, it has always been 20 seconds, if you feel it was more or less its just your memory playing tricks on you.
It used to be 15 seconds back when perma-sabo was a thing, but that was years ago.
As for my opinion on gates, I don't think base regression is a good idea. The gates are fine as they are.
Remember Me needs a buff though, I wish it had never been nerfed.

Hex: The Third Seal is actually really mean on him. If you thought Nightfall was intimidating enough, just wait until you have your auras taken out on top of it. Your Windows of Opportunity have no power here >:D
-
Rather stupid addon in concept, but the penalty attached to it is so large that it doesn't really see much use at all.

It really doesn’t make as big a difference as you might think. You can already do this for instance with Beast of Prey which makes you Undetectable once you have Bloodlust. Try using that perk, chase people, and when you are Undetectable see if you get chances to ambush other survivors with it. I’ve actually tried and it doesn’t work well, especially when the survivors are on comms.
I mean, Beast of Prey doesn't really activate that often. Furtive would be active in every chase, so you'd have more opportunities to try it. Not saying it'd be an amazing perk or anything, but it'd be a nice gimmick at least.
-
This might sound stupid, but actually use Feral Frenzy. There are basically no situations where you want to hit a healthy survivor with a basic attack, you should always use Frenzy if you have it charged. The amount of Legions I see hitting a healthy survivor with an m1 hurts.
Also, if someone's already injured and you're having major trouble catching them, use Feral Frenzy on them and find someone else with Killer Instinct. People think that Frenzy has no use on injured survivors, but it's still quite useful for the slowdown and information it gives.
As for perks, I'd make sure to have a couple of chase perks in your build. People tend to stack slowdowns on Legion which is massively overkill (and relatively lame). Deep Wound has you covered in that area for the most part. Having perks that help you secure the injured m1 hit cover Legion's weakness very well.
You generally want to avoid perks that give Mangled, Broken, Oblivious or Exposed. Mangled can work against you by discouraging healing, which is something you generally want survivors to be doing as a Legion (that said, if they do decide to heal, it'll make it take longer, which is good). Broken physically prevents healing altogether, which isn't good, but can be nice with a certain gimmick in mind (like Blood Echo or something). Oblivious makes survivors stop showing up on Killer Instinct, as they are considered to be outside the Terror Radius. Exposed is just redundant, Legion is a killer that can make people injured relatively easily, people will be one-shot for most of the game anyway.
That's not to say you should never run perks that give those status effects if you have a specific build or idea in mind, it's just that those status effects generally have drawbacks in regards to Legion.
Hope this advice helps.
-
Honestly, I think it could get some decent mileage if it was buffed to be 8m per stack. It'd still keep to the whole theme of the chase actually being furtive, but having a 32m Terror Radius killer have no Terror Radius mid-chase could be really nice.
Imagine having a teammate run past you and a Leatherface comes out of nowhere with no warning. You'd have a heart attack.
-
@Chadku said:
My working theory is that the coding doesnt allow one addon to have a permanent effect alongside a 60s effect.
Leg's mangled addon also only does 60s but maybe it's because the devs know that Thana is being run all the time.
Legion's Mangled addon lasts until healed, though.

Sorry, I brought Pharmacy, I'm opening every chest I see at lightning speed.
-
They nerfed it, do you really think they're going to consider making it basekit?
-
I use themed charms wherever I can.
-
Still an issue.
-
They changed it shortly after the Decisive Strike nerf I think. Killers would see that there was no obsession and start tunneling.
-
I wouldn't run it over Lithe.
-
Honestly, I don't think that's a great idea. Residual Manifest takes ages to get a yellow flashlight, but I love the fact that you can pop open a chest in like 5 seconds and get a Green Medkit. I'd much rather have them stick a Gel Dressing on the medkit Pharmacy gives you, to be honest.

What people seem to forget is they already removed facecamping.
It’s no longer possible to block the hook and prevent people from unhooking, that was true face camping.
You gotta learn to play around the saw. It’s hard but not impossible.
Half the time I get accused of camping because I turn my back and some survivor is rushing in for the unhook after I’ve only taken 2 steps away.
I remember a time when survivors would wait and/or hook exchange and not make stupidly bold plays that get themselves killed but those days are over it seems.
If bubba is camping smash out gens and then go for a hook exchange.
You can't hook trade against a Leatherface, he downs both survivors even through Borrowed Time.

That's odd, must be an error in the wording
I tested it in game and it does in fact give Mangled for 60 seconds.
-
They reworked the Haemorrhage status effect in a recent patch. On top of increasing bleeding frequency, healing progress will now regress when not healing if you're afflicted with it.
-
I have zero idea why Technician has a missed skill check penalty. It should LESSEN the regression, like Bite the Bullet does.
-
I wish there was an option to switch between the two, then everyone is happy.

Not gonna lie, I thought it was intentional when I played as Dredge. It does make scratch marks pretty damn hard to follow, though. In a way, it has me greatly empathising with colourblind folks.
Funnily enough I think the Black and White scratch marks are intentional. The Known Issues section only mentions Killer Instinct and Loud Noise Notifications.

They turned it down because it was too loud for a lot of people. Personally i prefer how it is now. The music is good, there is just too many instruments when you combine mix tape and it became too loud.
Do you have radar dish ears or something? It's way too quiet now.
-
Yeah, honestly, playing survivor while Nightfall is active is pretty spooky. I like it.

Upping the range is definitely what I would suggest changing- that and changing the scratch marks to be an aura you can see through walls. Even without those, though, it has some use for the killer aura reveal. Overzealous is the one that's legit pretty useless, imo.
I mean, Bond lets you see where a survivor was where they got hit (effectively showing you where the killer is) at a range of 36m. Currently it's just a worse version of an already existing perk.

Making ANY survivor perk based around information is a waste of time.
Why would anybody take an information perk when SWF comms gives you information with infinite range, no cool down, no activation requirements, and costs no perk slots.
But BHVR will just keep on pretending SWF doesn't exist and isn't a massive power boost...
Congratulations, you found a way to complain about SWF on a thread about survivor perks being bad.
