I'm not really sure why they need to do it so gradually, I feel like it shouldn't be THAT complicated. So I imagine they are slow rolling it so they can get some more sales first. But I could be completely wrong.
Yeah, they are taking FOREVER.

Unless they changed something recently, he absolutely can be blinded mid-vault.

Are you running Fullscreen Borderless? I use that and I never crash on alt tab.
-
Yeah, I don't see any issue with that. Spies is a perk that's in major need of some love.
-
But I don't WANT to hide, I want to stun you :D
-
Depends, if I'm just going to trade places with them, it's kinda unlikely that I'll save them unless they were a really good teammate. If I'm going to save multiple people by sacrificing myself, though, absolutely.

I do not think it fits spirit of the perk. I think that would be another perk. I think this perk is designed for you to be more stealthy in the end game, but the irony is that when two survivors are remaining, survivor can already stealth really well and drag out the game without requiring this perk.
I think your describing new perk that might come out in the future. Maybe the perk would work like slugging-based we'll make it. If you pick up a survivor from dying state to injured state, Increase your Altruistic Healing speed by 100% for the next 30/60/90 seconds. It might be strong perk where you can 3vs1 some killers with it if they slug.
Edit: Never ever mind, I see the problem here. the healing speed stacking would be crazy if 4 survivor used the perk due to how we're gonna live forever and current slugging works where survivor could heal slugs faster then the killer could m1(without stbfl).
The first line of the perk is "You work best alone."
I think that fits the spirit of the perk perfectly.

sounds like entirely different perk. I cannot really comment on this perk because I never equipped this survivor perk. my comment on these survivor perks that revolve around being last is that they do not make much of difference in changing the outcome of the game.
If your going to run a perk that help's you when your at brink of defeat in 3 man slugging situations, your better off running unbreakable. At the same time, if these perk were effective and changed the outcome of games that the killer was likely to win, they would be close to Keys. Conclusively, I do not think that perks like left behind, sole survivor or low profile will ever be good perks.
the closest one that has potential to be relevant is sole survivor. Currently sole survivor grants 75% repair speed bonus only when you are last survivor. if sole survivor scaled with the number of survivor dead, for example it gave 25% repair speed per survivor dead similar to aura immunity scaler's up to max of 3, then the 25%/50% repair bonus when 2 survivors are dead might be able to change the game outcome in niche instances where 1 generator remains. At the same time, a NOED-type perk that is punishing the killer for killing survivors is just super strange.
These perks for survivor are largely joke-perks.
No, it'd be the same perk but it has a heal speed bonus on top of it.
-
I knew I wasn't going crazy! I noticed that too.
-
I was gonna make a post about this, but since you've made one I guess I'll just put my suggestion here.
What if it increased heal speeds by 100% when active (on top of all the other effects)? It'd give you the ability to quickly reset your team from a SHTF situation. Plus, if self-healing was avaliable through Circle or a Medkit, then you'd be able to quickly patch yourself up to make going for a save much less risky.
-
YES!! To a flashlight buff
There i cancelled out your thread, everyone pack up and go home
-
It's not that hard, you can just pretend to farm to get it and then grab them when they work on a generator.
-
An important thing to note: You have to let the point animation finish completely. Cancelling it early by running will cause it not to count for the challenge.
-
It's not a bug, if one of the Haunted totems is cleansed, the other reverts to a dull totem instantly.
-
Yeah, it's one of my favourite perks from the Project W chapter. It's fun and balanced.

You can't see TR-addons or perks like agitation or dark devotion through walls. You can see it with Spine Chill tho.
And I'm pretty sure you can react on pixel-size-moves of red indicator faster than understand that killer is now one meter closer to you by how loud or quiet TR/heartbeat is (won me some gate standings for sure). Also you clearly can measure distance if you know how to compare 360 degrees and size of TR.
Maybe it's not THAT useful but you definitely get something outside of what you can hear.
idk I can read the tells for those things just fine without Spine Chill
-
The red indicator isn't based on the killer's distance, it's just the Terror Radius. It's a temporary thing until they add the feature in as an accessibility option.
If you're not in the terror radius (ie Oblivious/Undetectable or the killer just has a really small one), it'll only light up if the killer is within 36m of you, and will give you a speed boost if the killer has direct LOS. Spine Chill alone doesn't give you any detailed distance indication outside of what you can hear.
-
Depends, are they playing Doctor? If so, they miss all of them.

I'm stealing this from lilith omen here, but placebo tablet just does nothing now. Since you know, it's a placebo lol.
That would be kinda funny ngl, but what if it increased your FoV while rushing so it made you feel faster, while not actually increasing your speed?

Wym they need buffs? Clown confetti bottle is meta!
Hey, why would I put the best addon in the game on this list?
-
Yeah, that'd be nice. I think it should share the secondary effect of revealing every survivor to other survivors working on a generator with you cooperatively too.

Hmm, good topic. I've long not been a fan of meme addons and wish they behaved more like Plague's, serving as playstyle changers instead of straight downgrades.
I can only think of a few that might actually be viable, but maybe, in addition to their current effects:
Padded Jaws - Escape attempts and teammate untrapping take twice as long, so the Trapper has more time to reach random traps across the map at the cost of not inflicting a damage state if he fails to.
Hillbilly Speed Limiter - Increase turn rate by a significant amount, so that the chainsaw is more widely accessible as a looping tool at the cost of lethality.
Memento Blades - Laceration only decays to half its original amount instead of disappearing completely.
Rickety Chain - Entering iron sights happens at a greatly reduced rate and exiting iron sights without firing takes an extra amount of time equal to the amount that's removed from entering. (Basically, Deathslinger can quickscope with this addon, but he can't fake shots any more effectively and he can't do risky pulls without the chain breaking.)
Videotape Copy - Teleportation happens 1.25x faster.
Nice ideas. Padded Jaws would be like a souped up Wax Brick with a downside.
Speed Limiter would be really funny to watch honestly, I can only imagine the insane curves that would be made possible.
Memento Blades is an interesting idea, you'd be able to pre-stack Laceration at the cost of taking another knife to injure. Could make for some interesting plays and would add some strategy.
Rickety Chain would bring back instascope slinger so I doubt we'll ever see that lol.
Videotape Copy could be nice but I'd make the numbers 1.5x instead of 1.25x.

I guess you're right, though it does give a bloodpoint compensation.
Yeah, so do Vanity Mirror and Scratched Mirror, but I wouldn't classify those as meme addons either.

Here’s my ideas for buffed meme addons
Tricksters Memento blades
-increases number of blade hits to reach maximum laceration by 1.
-increases the maximum carried blades by 16.
-start the trial with 16 additional blades.
OnRyo videotape copy
-Projection does not inflict condemnation to nearby survivors.
-decreases time it takes for a tv to turn on after projection by 90 seconds.
-decreases the time it takes for survivors to gain condemnation by 100% when holding a tape.
Yeah, that's what I'd do to Memento Blades too, except I'd add a throw rate bonus to make it what it was before his rework. It'd be basekit Old Trickster with Melodious Murder, essentially.
Videotape Copy is an interesting idea too, however I'd personally put the numbers at 70 seconds. Teleporting to a TV every 10 seconds might be extreme.

I was kind of expecting to see Scarred Hand here, considering removing the Hag's teleportation power without any speed compensation just about makes her the worst m1 killer ?
Could be wrong and maybe it has awesome plays possible with it, but the only time I've seen people use that it's to make shack a deathbox and it's not very riveting gameplay.
Scarred Hand at least gives something in return. It's super gimmicky, but it doesn't just disable the ability to teleport for extra bloodpoints.
-
The finisher mori mechanic got rid of bleedouts pretty much entirely, but we don't know what changes they have planned from the first PTB (Mandy has confirmed that there'll be another one at least).

Half a second is a joke, especially considering how loud Demogorgon is to begin with.
Yeah, it's not much at all. The higher rarity Undetectable addons have been buffed but this one seems to have been forgotten about.
@Devil_hit11 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/351992/violet-waxcap-forgotten-about
I do not see the point in it. Red moss+cap is 11 extra second of undetectable. a 3rd undetectable add-on is redundant. It would be better to rework it.
Demogorgon's shred is pretty easy to dead hard. perhaps an add-on that grants 10 second of exhaust if demogorgon basic or special attacks when undetectable.
Maybe, but it'd be nice to have a cheaper undetectable addon for Demogorgon. Both Red Moss and Vermillon Webcap are relatively expensive.
Your idea is pretty neat, though. It'd have to be Undetectable when coming out of a portal specifically, otherwise it'd apply to Undetectable perks too and that'd be weird.
-
Yeah, I think that'd be a really nice idea.
For a more major buff, I think the perk could do with bumping up the tiers of rarity that are able to be obtained with Ace in the Hole. So instead of being up to Very Rare/Uncommon, it'd be up to Ultra Rare/Rare.

Bomb Lasagna
It's a tray of lasagna with a bomb inside. If anyone tries to eat it, it explodes. This will down all survivors within a 8m radius and stun the killer for 30 seconds.

Gonna rip this straight from the Until Dawn chapter I made a while back.
Live To See Another Day
After repairing a generator for 80/70/60 seconds, this perk activates.
When Live To See Another Day is active, you can rummage through an opened chest which will guarantee a shotgun.
Shooting the killer in the head with a shotgun will stun the killer for an extra two seconds if they are already stunned.
Using the shotgun will instantly consume it.
Live To See Another Day can only be used once per trial.
Retaliation
Despite those falling around you, you use the few tricks you have up your sleeve.
After repairing a generator for 80/70/60 seconds, this perk activates.
When Retaliation is active, you can rummage through an opened chest which will guarantee scissors.
Stabbing the killer in the back with scissors will disable the killers power for 30 seconds or until they miss a basic attack.
Using scissors will instantly consume them.
Retaliation can only be used once per trial.
I've never seen a Shotgun be suggested as a stun extender instead of just a stun on command, but that'd certainly make it way easier to balance.
The scissors seem pretty situational, but would be nice against a facecamping Leatherface.

Spring Board
Place on the floor. Stepping onto the board launches you into the air. The entity aids your decent, allowing you to glide down uninsured. Killers with projectile powers can snipe you while you glide.
It disappears after 4 survivors use it. Each survivor can only be launched once. Killer can also use it, but it gets destroyed if they do.
Interesting. Kinda like the Catapult from Identity V. It'd give some great potential for Balanced Landing plays, and might actually let you get to the second floor of some main buildings depending on how high it launched you. Imagine springing from the ground floor to the exterior Ironworks stairs.

I can confirm that it does in fact exist, I got it yesterday.

You mean limited as in Flashbang as a perk or the killer specific items like Vaccine, Spray, Pinheads Box?
i think a smoke bomb that works similar to flashbang would be neat: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/199454/survivor-item-concept-smoke-bomb
also I had torches in one of my concepts (before those even existed in DbD) for one of my killer concepts: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/127347/killer-concept-the-darkness
Either, go wild.
A smoke bomb would be pretty cool, especially if it hid your scratch marks for a little while after leaving it.

Boomstick
Can only spawn in chest once per trial.
Has one bullet.
Can be used to stun the killer.
Pallet auto-breaks if shot at.
Shooter is exposed for the remainder of the trial.
Carried Survivor will go back into the dying state if the Killer is shot while holding someone.
Gun jams if fired after the exit gates are powered.
Groovy.

2019 called, they want their joke back.

If a survivor is still in the process of being sacrificed, or is on the hook, then the last person can still attempt to Kobe. It only stops them from attempting when everyone is dead.
-
give them pets from me..........

Yeah, Hag has to play territorial to function. Set up in an area of the map with a good 3 gen and defend it. Get a hook and trap it. She's 4.4m/s, so she has to use her power to get downs reliably.

I highly recommend looking up Michi’s YouTube channel and Hag guide, they’re an excellent Hag player with a ton of useful advice, including advice for more advanced Hag plays like chaining two traps together, using camera swings, bait traps that survivors know about so they go into ones they don’t, and so on.
Yeah, I second this. Michi's Hag guide is super useful and informative.

DC penalty is disabled currently.

I don't agree with the opinion that he was the worst killer in the game. He wasn't top tier, but he was really solid. Once you learned how to play the Dream Transition and micromanage sleep well, he was actually kind of a force to be reckoned with. I've played him against good players, and I didn't feel helpless.
I think the reason he got a bad reputation was due to his different playstyle (micromanaging sleep was very important), and the fact that the Dream Transition (his main chase power) didn't have a tell to the Freddy player in-game. You had to look up the timings yourself to use it effectively. If BHVR had added a visual indicator to show your visibility to a survivor falling asleep, then I think people would've regarded Freddy much better.
It really is a shame, because with a couple of QoL changes, his fullest potential would've been available to any player, and not just those dedicated enough to do external research themselves.
I hope they bring him back one day.
-
I think it could activate on the third token, that'd make it a lot better.
-
Yeah, it's new for this patch. It's a terrible tile.
-
That's a cool idea.
-
I think it should show the closest totem instead of the furthest. That'd make it better at it's job.
-
I love the perk as it is, it's actually pretty good. However, the fact that it consumes a token on ANY lunge is quite annoying. It should only use tokens on lunges that are extended by Coup.

That's a cross wall, and its really good if you know what you're doing in a chase. I run killers on that thing for ages, and it chains well into other tiles. Just because it doesn't have a pallet doesn't mean it's bad.
Cross wall, I was looking for a good name for that tile, thanks.

A known bug in the 6.3.0 patch notes states that the change in timing of skill checks for Lullaby does not occur.
The penalty does occur, but the bug does not change the timing of the warning sound before the skill check even if the token is saved.
Yep, you explained it perfectly.
