According to the current roadmap, bloodweb improvements should be in the next couple of months.
-
I don't really see a reason for Technician to have an extra regression penalty. Currently, it's a perk that does more harm than good.
-
It'd certainly help, switching things up every now and then can open up different playstyles for you.
More importantly, though, experimenting with perks is fun. You're bound to find at least a couple of perks you like out of all of the ones you don't use.

Most of his addons are trash for that matter.
While a couple like Map of the Realm and Call to Arms are required to make him function as he should at base kit. Many would even throw Horse Meat in there as well.
You're solution for the addon I don't like though. It's still trash. It needs to be something entirely different.
In my opinion it should instead now allow you to see survivors while drawing your patrol path and increase placement distance by 10 meters similar to Call to Arms. This allows even more of the type of game play they want from Knight as well as increasing the mind game potential with his placements.
I mean you could entirely rework it but these are just simple numbers changes that give the addon a decent use. You could slip something like this into any major update.
I think Knight's addons in general are mostly ok apart from a few bad ones (this one included), it's just Map of the Realm feels borderline necessary.
-
I'm pretty sure you can get up there too if you walk into the corner of the cart closest to the steps.
-
Some people are just a-holes unfortunately, and will BM you regardless of what you do or don't do.
-
Yeah, I'm gonna get her. I had a lot of fun on the PTB and the Buffs she's going to get coming to Live will make her feel a lot better to play.
-
I like the character-specific charms, it adds a nice touch to my hooks.
-
I mean, it makes sense. Being unable to disable drones for 45 seconds at a time would be a bit much.
There's still some downside to deactivating drones with a Claw Trap on, The Skull Merchant will get an early warning as the Drone is guaranteed to activate, plus the Survivor will get some Lock On progress. If a Survivor runs from Drone to Drone deactivating them all, there might be a pretty decent chance that they could get completely locked on (especially since Lock On only decays after 10 seconds instead of 5 now).
Although this is a nerf, all of the Buffs she's received are well worth it in my opinion. Drones are now unhackable for a third of the time they're active (as well as activating faster), and Claw Traps are going to be more effective in tracking survivors in general, as they last nearly twice as long. Plus, they can't tell they're being tracked anymore.
I think she would've been too frustrating to go against without this change, since her setups would've been too hard to dismantle. However, the buffs she received more than make up for this, and will make her quite a bit stronger overall.
-
I still miss the Pyramid Head PTB chase music...
-
They've said in the past that the PTB is a valuable tool for collecting feedback. Just because you don't see the changes immediately from PTB to live doesn't mean that the feedback isn't taken into consideration. A lot of the changes come later down the line.
-
Run it with Undying and Thrill, on Freddy ideally but any stealth killer will work fine.
-
No, it doesn't stack.
-
This is still an issue for me.
-
Yeah, I'm gonna buy it. I really like the new killer even if she is a bit weak.
-
I have a VAC ban that's over 9 years old (it doesn't even show on my profile anymore, but it's still there), and I've never cheated in DBD.
This kind of system would do far more harm than good, new, maxed accounts are available for cheap to cheaters, so it wouldn't affect them that much. Legitimate players that have put thousands of hours into their accounts would lose so much more.
Do you honestly think it's fair for someone who's never cheated in Dead By Daylight to get banned after spending a lot of money and time on the game because they aimbotted in TF2 when they were 12?
Serial cheaters will get HWID banned by EAC eventually, we don't need a Minority Report system for cheating.
-
I don't think the addon needs a turn rate nerf. If anything, it needs a recharge nerf. The ability to break a pallet and instantly rush again is insane.
-
I don't think that's a good idea, exponential growth can get out of control fast. They should just keep it at 10% of the total progress for the regression IMO.
-
I like how nobody mentions Corrupt or Pain Resonance when they say every killer meta perk got gutted.
I also like how nobody mentions Iron Will, Spine Chill or Self Care when they say the Survivor meta gets some kind of special protection.

Eruption has 12 seconds of aura-reading with Lethal.
Hmmmmm, I like this very much.
Also, Haddie mains, rejoice. Now you'll get to play your favorite character as Feng!

Eruption, Gearhead and Lethal.
Their auras shall be read and they will be read FOREVER

I find it kinda ironic that a discussion on toxicity and why it's bad was started by someone with the username "survivorsareaplague"
-
I swear by Zanshin on Clown and Pyramid Head. It's a generally niche perk though and could 100% benefit from a secondary effect. I wouldn't run it on many other killers in it's current state.

You failed at your own comparison. On one side you talk about a successful counter, on the other about a full on hit by said ability. "This apple here is bright red, while this orange here is just a pale orange. How sad."
Waiting out a DH in theory only takes abot 5s, letting go of a gen at the right moment also adds a max of 5s. Failing on countering Eruption takes you out of the game for 25s, failing at using DH takes you out of the game for about an equal amount and puts you on the hook (even though get some thrilling wriggle gameplay options). Failing to anticipate DH as he killer adds easily 25s to a chase in the 7frames prior to winning it, which is probably more frustrating then having to find a Bush to hide in for 25s.
I mean, you can't really consistently counter Eruption. Unless you're on a 4 stack with good communication, there's no way to communicate when everyone is going to go down.
Plus, even if you happen to not be on an affected generator, it still regresses by 10%. This can happen on multiple generators, and it's pretty common to have it set up like this.

You always wait it out. Every match, every chase. Its a lot of wait time when additioned.
Adding is rough, especially with variables. BUT. I think its usually over 25. No way am I doing the division to get an average across the average of a ton of games.
Get that spreadsheet nerd from the other thread for that crap!
I mean if you want to take the entire match into account, then Eruption can trigger multiple times per match and can take out multiple survivors in one proc (for 25 seconds at a time), while regressing each generator it's activated on by 10%, plus up to another 6.25% from the default regression rate while a survivor recovers from incapacitated, which can only be stopped if an unaffected survivor comes and works on the generator.
The perk is massively overtuned at the moment. It needs a reduction in Incapacitated time.

Survs: Eruption is annoying to deal with
Killers: Just do nothing and wait for it
Survs: Wait that's illegal
I don't think that's an apt comparison really, considering that waiting out Dead Hard takes like 5 seconds at most to wait out and Eruption takes you out of the game for 25 seconds.

I don't like Pig

I don't think that regressing exit gates is the way to go with Remember Me. If the gates spawn too close together you could get situations where it's almost impossible to escape.
Instead, they should revert the nerf that came with the introduction to the endgame collapse:
If it's too much for the last survivor to escape when combined with NWO, then one of the perks could have a condition that causes it to be disabled when there's one survivor remaining.

Demo, Artist, Oni, and Twins usually skip unless I intend to play them for a while and would get them naturally.
Doc's, Wraith, Fred's, Mike's, Hag's, Huntresses, and Trapper dailys are so easy in comparison.
Honestly the chase time dailys for Twins are harder than the power ones lol.
-
Stuff like this is part of the reason why I use Anonymous Mode all of the time. Some people are just disgusting. I'm sorry this has happened to you and I hope you're doing alright.

I usually get them in one sometimes two games. My real issue is daily rituals for hitting lethal rush with blight or chainsaws with billy.
Plus I doubt they are touching anything about demo until(if) they get back the stranger things IP.
I'm sure very minor QOL changes like this aren't off the table. It won't even change anything about Demo's kit, just the ritual.
-
I just wanna play Old Freddy again lol

Idk sounds like a you problem. I have no difficulty getting 5 fully charged shreds with zonegorgon
It's just a pain having to wait behind someone and fully charge a shred 5 times. It'd be like if Huntress had to fully charge her hatchets to count towards her daily. Doesn't make sense to have that restriction for a daily ritual. It's not exactly difficult, just annoying.

Oh it's a visual glitch that's weird. I wonder if it effects other powers
It affects the Lament Configuration Solve Time as well.

Hasn't this addon been bugged for months now, maybe even a year? BHVR, what are you waiting for??
It has been bugged for over two years at this point.
-
Yeah, I love the Knight buffs too. It made him feel a lot better to play without buffing the "instant guard" playstyle. You can really catch survivors off guard now (plus watching the Jailer zoom towards a survivor at mach speed always makes me laugh).
One extra thing I wish they would do though is make the Map of the Realm addon part of the basekit (and changing the effect because 8 extra meters of range would be insane). It still feels like an absolute must-have addon, which isn't something you really want to have as it reduces the variety of addons you can take.
-
The main difference between the Badhams is the position of the buildings. However, the map shape and size can differ slightly.
Badham I - III are all square in shape, and have the same outer boundaries and size.
Badham IV and V are narrower and more rectangular in shape. Badham IV is slightly smaller than the first 3 while Badham V is slightly larger.
-
I'm currently going for Legion, I've mained them for years and I've always loved them. I'm around P33, but progress is slow at the moment since I'm not exactly playing DBD that much right now.

Is it? I figured it was an intended change. I quite like it tbh. Always bugged me that the minions would just phase through a goddamn pallet/vault. And feels like they have a higher move speed now to compensate. And having them double back means knight can pincer more effectively
They didn't increase the movespeed of the guards during a hunt, they only increased the speed at which the guards start a hunt when the patrol path is long enough.
They're meant to phase through every pallet and vault, their speed decreases ever so slightly when they do. It's just currently while a pallet is being dropped, the guards will treat it like a wall and path around it, which is unintended.
-
No, it's a bug.
-
Yeah, this is happening to me too. It started the game lit up, but with no noises and didn't return to normal until at least halfway through the game.
-
Did the killer have Coulrophobia?
-
The biggest issue with the challenge is that it isn't consistent. Even if you activate Balanced Landing, sometimes it doesn't add progress to the challenge.

Yeah it might need one. It could give clown all his bottles back after a successful hook instead which would be a nice time save
That'd be a really nice effect for an addon but I don't think it'd fit an ultra rare personally, unless it had another effect as well.
Maybe if they reworked Makeup Kit to do that and made Solvent Jug +2 seconds to invigorated like they were going to do, but they didn't want to buff Makeup Kit.

Cap bottles at 2 (no more gin bottle) and reduce the gas spread by 20% and it would be fine
Honestly cigar box is debatably stronger. That add-on is crazy good
Honestly, Pinky Finger could do with a full rework at this point. It's a bit too strong with Gin Bottle but feels generally terrible to use without bottle addons.
-
You don't need to rework the entire status effect when it's only problematic on one perk specifically.
-
Do you think you could reimplement the icon that appeared next to a post whenever a Mod/BHVR employee responded to a post (specifically on the Recent Discussions section, it's already a thing if you're browsing individual categories)? It was very handy to see what posts had got a dev response from just browsing.
Also the red/blue highlight that the comment/post got was handy for finding said comment quickly.
