It is affected but do remember that m&a also increases your terror radius in chase. So it actually brightens it even more.
That's what I thought.

she really did. i hope the other licensed killers are able to get the same love.
I do too. I was hoping for a sunglasses freddy skin, or maybe some voice lines if possible because of his nature.

yes i agree, But Im talking about killers missing out on bloodpoints when using their power. Atleast legion isn’t lacking in that area 😛
He still get's screwed for it. May not be in points, but he does. : P
-
Hey, Legion gets screwed for using their power because it's impossible to down anyone while using it.
-
No, they're there when you click the chapters tab. Just scroll down and you'll find them.
-
You can guess and be right most of the time. Like if people arrive in your lobby at the same time, if they have certain cosmetics or play certain characters (three claudettes that look exactly the same, for instant).
Then again, High ranks are full of inflated SWFs most of the time. Also, it's come to the point where I recognize people and know if they are a toxic group or not. So it's a matter of remembering their name.
-
I think they should act differently: Instead of putting them down, they'll try to vault over it, failing miserably. Same effect, but different enough. Pallets will always be down with Doc.
Programming the Hallucination to start running would throw off the point of them. They are a minor tracking tool.

I got Nurses, I just need hag and doctor left, so easy days! thank you everyone :)
Hag is easier at lower ranks. She can be quite good.
Doctor was the first I got, completely by accident.
I still have Plague, Clown, and Bubba's to get.
-
I'd rather just have party hats for everyone as cosmetics to earn, but that's also interesting...
Still prefer my idea.

Huh... Red stain is affected by TR, so it should... : P
M&A is still a good perk though.

Typically, you don't want something that can both be negated and has a failure chance due to being overridden by another of your perks. As you'd essentially run the risk of being left with only two perks. Next, I would say that this doesn't depend on whether your good or not. Totems by default aren't designed with killer skill in mind as killers don't have any say on how, where, and when they spawn. The most a killer can do is run Hex Thrill to monitor the active ones and try to protect thrill itself as it will be the only one that gives an alert.
After that, you have the RNG factor. Players don't want more RNG introduced into hex perks as the entire mechanic is built around RNG by default and has negative consequences for both sides. Also, making perks to encourage buffs to other perks isn't a thing. If that is considered a strength then the perk isn't really needed as much as the buff to the other perk. There is also the fact we have multiple actual endgame builds that work, but typically endgame is not what a killer wants to shoot for as you're asking for either a lot of passive play or setup. If survivors can help it they will usually not give the time necessary to make either scenario worthwhile.
This proposed perk does punish rushing, but it also just punishes doing the objective to completion before cleansing every totem. The same happens with noed, but doesn't prevent escape it just makes the game switch from normal to hard. Arguably, this idea is worse for survivors as if they rush the game, which is their prerogative to do, rather than having a difficult time escaping; They just can't escape. Having to break 3 totems is far too strong for something blocking the exit switch.
The effect could be usable if it was a change made to Remember Me that instead of taking longer to open it just prevented you from using the switch for the same amount of time. You'd get the same value and introduce far less problems into the game for both killers and survivors. It could pair better with other endgame perks in this fashion as well.
Well, it just was a concept. I don't like RNG either, but it doesn't stop me from using NOED and BBQ. The whole game is already an RNG sink anyway...
If there was an ability to restart certain totems perks or something, then it might be better.
I mean, it would make the second objective a reality. I could get rid of that mechanic, but that's if they don't break totems when they find it. It's really designed to counter the toxic rushers more than anyone.
I'd rather have Remember Me be reverted to pre-nerf stats, with 6 tokens for 30 seconds.
Thank you for the feedback though. : )

It sounds really good on paper but I feel this would be much better if it was a timed perk like corrupt, just my opinion though.
Thanks for your feedback. I was just thinking of something that could compete with NOED that would be less frustrating for survivors.

Huntress is better because it's a one shot from theoretically infinite range. Clown has to be close enough to hit them.

wow, actually haven't seen Julie's face yet. not too bad. and i mainly like Amanda for her voice and her psychopathic tendencies. the new leather jacket for her looks nice too.
The Pig got some really good cosmetics.
-
I use:
BBQ (points and awareness)
Mad Grit (Lot's of altruistic survivors)
Save the best for last (Easy to get stacks since you can get three from any non obsession)
Whatever you feel like.
-
Haha... no. This would make it weaker to SWFs, which is the only reason I use them.

I'd like to see a Jeff the Killer outfit/costume for Legion. (I'm weird like that, I know...)

All you've gotta do to counter 360s is stand still and wait until they stop and then swing!!! It's been a while since I've 360'd a killer at red rank!
I know. I said they're annoying, but not unbearable. : P
I love seeing survivors realize that they don't work on me. XD
-
Maps like Lery's and the Game physically can't have any other gate locations. It'd be fun to see them open the fake gates and get instakilled, but that'd be a joke, not something I'd want in the game.

200? For every daily?
Im comparing it to the difficulty of those dailys.
Yep. Worth. It can fluctuate between dailies like they do now, but yeah, they should give a decent amount of shards. There are few cosmetics you can get with shards anyway, so you might see them more often.
Just because leveling gives you so few shards as well.

-
Legion's my favorite. I just love running and tagging multiple survivors. Of course I don't expect to get many hooks, but it's fun when I do.
I also enjoy trapper when I catch people in the traps. It's not so fun when they just rush though.
Billy is stupidly easy.
Huntress when I get a decent map or two.
I liked both versions of Freddy.
-
Not unless they've got the other toxic behaviors as well. (Instaheals, Instablinds, etc.)

In my opinion Old Freddy was perfectly fine, and could totally screw an optimised SWF squad.
(Don’t get me wrong, I love the rework. Just that old Freddy was greatly misunderstood and his potential was greatly under-utilised by many players).
I only found that out a few days before the rework went live. Going Red Paintbrush Freddy on the game was fun. : )

@Raven014 I dunno what it is about Ormond but I HATE it as killer. It’s really good for survivor.
Grim Pantry can be a real pain in the ass if you’re a slow killer like Huntress. I rarely have issues with it because the map is relatively weak outside of the pantry and I avoid the pantry most of the time. I also seem to not get swamp maps as much. I usually get stuck with farm maps and Springwood :/
I find it depends on the killer for Ormund. Billy, LF, Trapper, and Legion do well, while others suffer.
I get Grim Pantry all the time. I don't even play huntress that much anymore, and it still bugs me.
-
Maybe not that sound in particular, but there are a bunch of other jarring sounds that could be good for that concept.
-
I'd love a replay system where you could view and save past matches and see all points of view. That would be cool.
-
I think Tbagging should give a small debuff since it's not a natural thing to do. Maybe a 1 percent movement speed debuff for every second of doing it. : P

@MegMain98 said:
@Raven014 I have no issue with any survivor or killer perks. While Adrenaline and NOED are annoying, I don’t really care.
My main issue is map designs. Haddonfield is the worst offender, it can spawn literal infinities. Ormond and Crotus Prenn have INSANELY safe middle structures. The Game has over 15 safe pallets. Rotten Fields and BOTH Red Forest maps are WAY too large and gives killers with little map pressure almost no chance.
I also hate Treatment Theater simply because I find it boring...nothing is game breaking though.
If a lot of the maps were looked at then I would have no issue with the game other than bugs and glitches.
Ormund I don't mind but I agree on Crotus Prenn.
I think Grim Pantry is frustrating too. That middle structure is really bad. If the basement's there, then it can be alright, but if it's not and you down a survivor there, good luck getting them to a hook.

Maybe the Rifts will have some iri shards
Compared to the prices of cosmetics and characters? That's not a high amount.
-
I actually have a gimmick build for GF just in case. And It worked perfectly because the object of obsession didn't do squat but loop me.
Mad Grit
Iron Grasp
Agitation
NOED
I have seen these bring down entire SWF teams because they get cocky. It'll be better when I get all of them to tier 3 (all are at tier 1 except agitation and NOED which are at Tier 2). I'd like to swap Mad Grit for Blood Warden to make the ultimate F SWFs build (in which you hook the survivor to activate BW when there are 60 seconds left, making everyone unable to leave, and taken by the entity.
-
Is this supposed to be a nerf to immersed Claudettes? XD
-
@YaiPa said:
How can Plague have little hook pressure, if almost every game, everybody is broken?
At higher ranks, this doesn't matter. They will still be able to evade easily.
-
Wouldn't that make Knockout, useless on him, since they know the general area in which he downed a survivor?
-
I would love to have offline practice or even Offline gameplay! With even practice against different killers/survivors and perk combinations... it could be quite something but not at the same time.
-
Try Iri king every once in a while. Sure it takes 7 zaps to get the full effect, but when it does they can't hide because they light up like a christmas tree when found, you can see their hallucinations at Madness 2, they'll fall for fake pallets... it's just so good. It's the only Addon I love besides the purple exhaustion at M3 addon.

Here are most typical "killer mains" opinions, enjoy:
- SWF and voice communication is cheating and should be bannable,
- pallet looping is an exploit,
- 5 blink Nurse and omega blink Nurse is balanced,
- ebony mori is fine,
- 360 is an exploit,
- DH, SB, BT, DS, OoO, MoM, SC, Unbreakable and Adrenaline are all OP,
- killers should have 5 perk slots,
- killers are playing against 44 perks with only 4 perks of their own,
- looping the killer is brainless and requires no skill,
- gen times should be 100s
- remove music or give us the ability to mute sounds so we can hear survivors breathing in the basement,
- camping is a strategy,
- all survivor perks are crutches and second chance perks,
- remove half of the pallets from maps - survivors should juke or lose the killer,
- back in the days survivors played better until they discovered and abused looping,
- survivors always cry and fail to adapt,
- killers were nerfed more than survivors,
- devs don't care about what killers want,
- killers can't have nice things,
- all killers and killer perks have been nerfed by the devs ASAP while survivor's perks remained untouched,
- the ability to mori a survivor should be in every killer's base kit
Some of these are true, some of these aren't.
SWFs do have a distinct advantage over solos. I wouldn't ban them for it though. I'd just fix it so they have a new handicap to make up for their advantage.
5 blink nurse has a tremendous downside, while Omega does need some downside to it.
Ebony moris are less about the offering itself, but how it's used. I use it instead of third hooks, but a lot do not. However, I don't think it should be changed because it is a counter to toxic SWFs, so I don't mind how they are now. A mori just allows one to leave a bad game, and find another. So I don't get what the big deal is about.
360s are annoying to deal with.
Certain Killer perks should just be made base mechanics (such as Monstrous Shrine).
Killers do have to go against 16 survivor perks. Some I don't mind, while others are frustrating.
I mean, it takes some skill, but not as much as losing them does.
Gens are way too quick. There should be some secondary objective that has to be completed, because I don't like 4 min games.
I mean, I'm fine with or without the music, so it doesn't matter so much. However, the option should exist. We can hear you from the basement regardless. Yesterday I heard an Ace from above while in a chase.
Survivors cry about killer stuff all the time. Like, Oh, NOED IS SO STRONG, REMOVE FROM THE GAME!! Or... TUNNELING IS A BIG ISSUE (It's not)!!
Killers did use to be way weaker. Pig did get gutted with the EGC, and survivor BPs were buffed...
The Devs are paying attention more to one half of the community because they are a larger part of the player base. However, they should pay more attention to killer's complaints, such as fixing certain maps like Haddonfield.

I absolutely will not hesitate to play Spirit with double purple add-ons and an Ebony mori if I run into the same annoying SWF group over and over again. Honestly they don’t annoy me too much. If I see multiple flashlights I’ll swap Discordance for Lightborn, I will NEVER get blinded and it’s funny to see them try over and over again to blind me through pallets and save their friend. It’s comical.
I like moris because they are very cool kill animations but it ruins the enjoyment of every player except the killer when they can get killed within two minutes.
I feel dirty ever using a mori except when it is a SWF group who want to try a bully the killer.
As you stated...it’s mainly the players using the mori that people have issues with.
Yeah... don't have that perk unlocked yet. Playing more billy to do so though. : )

And that is an admirable way of playing. Giving a player a cool way of going out. That’s great that you play that way. I wish other players would.
A LOT of players hook somebody and then go right back to the hook tunnel the injured guy and mori them. Yeah you won but did you really earn it? Did anybody else have fun? I’m pretty sure that Feng that got grabbed by Prayer Beads in the beginning and downed as soon as she got off the hook isn’t happy with her 1000 bloodpoints.
If moris couldn’t be used until death hook, it would create a little less tunneling and more all round fun for everyone involved.
I know. It's a nice change than just hooking again. It also puts those who use BBQ at a disadvantage since they won't get the BBQ proc.
The only reason I'd disagree with you about limiting to two hooks is because of SWFs. If I know I'm going against that kind of toxic group (OoO + Instaheals, key, and Instaflashlight), I will not hesitate to break my biggest rule against them.
Hey, if they buffed Remember me to six stacks, then that would also make it an anti-tunneling perk as well. I have no idea why they changed it to four, since that encourages tunneling the obsession.
-
Gotta disagree with a few of these:
Shadowborn can be decent. Especially for killers who need good eyesight. You have to to be able to use this perk.
Lightborn: Surprisingly useful, especially at high ranks, where you can just expect one ultra rare insta-blind flashlight.
Stridor raises the volume for all survivor breathing, not just for when they're injured. You might be able to realize someone's there when you wouldn't otherwise.
Devour Hope, when it gets going, oh man is it good.
You'd be surprised how many times I catch people with M&A... they just do not expect the shorter red stain and TR.
Overcharge only works on Green to white ranks. It backfires everywhere else.
PWYF can be very good on certain killers, such as wraith or tombstone myers.
Bloodwarden is garbage. Most of the time, you can't make it work, and the other times... nope, you really can't make it work with how many adrenaline survivors there are. Not without NOED, and even then it's unlikely you'll be able to do anything.
Remember me used to be good, then they changed the token max to four and lowered it to 12 seconds. I remember 6 stacks and 20 seconds. You could get things done. : D
Hangman's trick is bugged, so it doesn't even work properly.
Haunted ground is such a roulette wheel. If you can get downs, then it can work, but it can be broken immediately and you find no-one.
Spirit fury is the current best of her perks.
Rancor is just an obsession mori. That's it.
Huntress' Lullaby isn't that great at higher ranks, it's almost a worthless slot. Especially if destroyed before 5 hooks.
Beast of Prey losing your Red Stain is a big deal, but nobody seems to care. If M&A can trip people up with a smaller Red Stain, then removing it can be very confusing. However, this really only works better at mid ranks, who understand the red stain's importance, but aren't quite good at mindgames yet.
I've been running Mad Grit way more. Then again, I use the Agitation, Iron Grasp, Mad Grit, and NOED combo so I can down people really quickly in endgame. It's really satisfying...
Iron Maiden is good at locating people, but not at much else. Especially when you run BBQ.
I've seen Infectious Fright used well, so it's not really a mid tier perk.
Corrupt only lasts the first 120 seconds of the match, making it wasted if you don't catch anyone in that time.
I haven't played enough with GF's perks to make any good judgements, I'd like to see the cooldown for I'm all ears reduced by a lot.
-
Whispers isn't great. It's too vague most of the time. Since it also counts survivors on the hook, you can't use it to great effect even in guarding hooks either. I see this as a non-issue.
-
Sounds like a decent idea. I don't see why they can't do that.
-
@Marcus said:
Just because these things have counter play, that doesn't mean they are healthy for the game. I think bullshit things from both sides ( Instant Heals, Keys, Moris, Prayer Beads, Omega Blink ) should be look at and nerfed/reworked, because it doesn't feel fair at all to lose a match because someone had a key or because that Spirit had Prayer Beads and you needed to gen tapp the entire match, just to be grabbed regardless.
Moris aren't BS, it's the people who use them. Inherently, they aren't a bad thing, I just don't like going against people who just 1 hook then mori.
When I use moris I use it instead of a last hook. They were already dead anyway...
-
I would love more mori animations in general and they play out randomly. That way you don't get bored.
The aged idea would work great too.

@LuluTheLion13 Archives or Prestige 3
Well survivors can maybe get voice lines, emotes, or an aged version of themselves as rewards. Voice Lines, because Plague and Ash has some. Emotes that express the survivor you got it for. Ex: Meg jogging in place, checking her pulse or Feng crossing her arms, looking smug. (This, however would make this less horror or whatever, but it would be cool to have) Aged Versions, i imagine as more torn, bloody original clothes, with them having scars and other things.
For The Legion mori, i thought of Susie being more hesitant in doing her's; meanwhile Frank is not hesitant and more in to it. Jules and Joey, while i dont know what it would be.
That would be cool, however, have you seen the face under susie's mask. She delights in playing up the shy one. She actually is the most heartless.
Bill also has one voice line, when he's picked up he'll ask "Why?" in the most pitiful voice. He should have more voice lines.

Haha no. It's the only real counter to SWFs in high ranks, so no thank you.
