Can’t say I relate. Q’s are a bit longer during the day, but after 1700 they are instant all night, for some pretty good games. I catch a SWF here and there but majority of the time it’s pretty even games.
-
It sucks, but resilience is still a top tier perk. Combined with hope at endgame and it’s hard to catch you.
-
I’ve got a couple thousand hours but my Dwight has no prestige. I keep him baby Dwight cause killers tend to commit to chasing me more. Don’t judge by the prestige.. I’ve seen prestige 20+ that can’t win chases for nothing.
-
It’s not that hard.
-
Why y’all complaining about wraith all of a sudden? Lol
-
Y’all really tripping about blights hug tech. 😂 it’s not even remotely op. Most people cannot even imagine pulling them off successfully into a hit. You have to have so much game knowledge of what is hug tech-able and many things are not.
-
Agreed 100%.
-
Just take a break, maybe it’ll refresh for you. I’ve maintained the fun by not trying as hard, and trying fun builds or playing killers in difficult ways.

BHVR only looks at reports that are made in game with video evidence submitted along side the report anything outside the game has to be done per platform, so if there's no video or in-game report your report isn't even gonna be looked at, the only exception might be chat logs in the endgame where you could screenshot or just report it and I'm pretty sure they can pull the chat log right up
I submitted 2 reports through that link with video.

You don't receive a confirmation when action gets taken or not.
That doesn't mean they don't deal with the report.
They could at the very least inform us that the video was received.
Besides, why not let the players who care enough to report know that they aren’t wasting their time submitting?

With all of the basekit buffs to killer and 90 second gens it doesn't even matter if youre good at looping anymore. The devs wanted chases to end quickly and gens to take longer so gone are the days when you could loop the killer for 4-5 gens.
No more looping, no more gen rushing, no more fun allowed whatsoever.
Survivors role now is to die before the exit gates are powered so every killer can 4k every match.
Not true at all. I had a 5 gen chase against a huntress earlier this week, along countless 2-3 gen chases when they commit.

As Marc explained, make sure to always report in game, then you can go here https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/categories/6713776396180-Dead-by-Daylight and submit a ticket giving all the information required.
(If the clip is too big to be attached to the ticket, you can just upload it to Youtube as unlisted for example and post the link in the description)
I did this twice, and never heard anything back about it.
-
Lot of you act like just anybody can hop onto blight and pull off hug techs and flicks. Most new blights have to disregard his power and be an m1 killer for awhile because they can’t figure his rushes out.
-
The same exact thing was said about survivors spinning. That wasn’t fixed was it? A lot of bugs get implemented as regular mechanics. It has happened countless times in countless games, including this one. I haven’t seen a dev comment on the hug tech being fixed. 🫠

They can look, but they can't touch, honey. But seriously, I doubt they know how to fix it.
That’s what I’m saying.. lol. They aren’t patching the hug tech.
-
They’re not patching it. No dev has said it’s going to be patched. It was simply said it was being looked at, the same way “spinning” got looked at.
-
No lol. It’s just part of the game.
-
If all 4 bring toolboxes or flashlights, I just throw franklins on and watch them panic when they drop their purple beam lmao. Had a sabo squad completely throw the game trying to sabo the hook only to find they couldn’t with their toolboxes on the ground. It was too funny.

I mean it's not rocket science; calling it a tech is implying more skill than it takes. It's no more a tech than blinding the killer at a pallet. I'm awful with flashlights and the only two places I can get blinds are pallets and lockers.
It's just a map design oversight that can be taken advantage of for no other reason than to harass the killer.
And if you are someone who enjoys spending half a match doing this sort of thing, you really get to surrender any right to complain about the killer playing in an "unfun" manner.
Like ever.
Lmao it’s not the same as blinding at a pallet. It is considerably harder. You literally have to time it PERFECTLY or it doesn’t work.
-
I agree wholeheartedly. I don’t mind being tunneled. I can usually keep most killers busy for 2-3 gens if they commit. (Depends on map rng) Sometimes more. If i die while 3 escape, not even mad. The issue is when they target the weak link that can’t loop.

They need to make Deathslinger's terror radius bigger!
Lmao what?! Why?😂
-
I won’t slug for the 4k unless
1) the last survivors is right by where I downed the 3rd.
2) it’s a bully squad
3) I need a challenge

Eh. Once you get more experience with him. You'll find out that it's not really. That's how everything goes in life though. You're not experienced enough in whatever it is. So it seems hard. You keep practicing at it. All of the sudden it doesn't seem difficult
Well yea. Experience makes things easier to do.. but it doesn’t mean it’s not a hard tech to pull off for new blights.
-
My q’s are instant on both sides. I’m not trippin.

180s arnt hard at all. Blight as a turning of 90° when rushing. He has another 90° when swinging.
They definitely are hard to get good and consistent with, WHILE landing hits.

You’re actually complaining about doctor?

I would be happy when I finally can play 180 Flicks XD. LilithOmen needs to teach it.
Lilith omen is the reason I turned to a blight main. His tutorial videos on YouTube changed the game for me. Flicks have never been so easy. I finally got down the moon rushes on shack. It’s been so much fun.

nice! I noticed people love to prethrow with blight so I started playing around with brutal strength so I could shred the pallets and get into a rush sooner.

I tend to view map offerings as a signal that we're both trying our hardest to win. Not necessarily playing nastily, but where I might've been nice and ignored someone who ran into me accidentally post-unhook in other trials, I'll capitalise on that mistake more if the team played a map offering. Ditto for contesting unhooks.
It's not, like, retribution or punishment or whatever. It's just that if you're gonna use all your available tools to try and win, I'll answer that by doing the same! Sometimes those trials are even quite fun, honestly.
This.

Among Us would just ban people who talked like this. Heroes of the Storm doesn't ban for it, but does remove the chat function from offenders. I believe League of Legends has separate queues/lobbies for the worst offenders, but I'm going off what I've been told on that one.
You’re comparing among us… to dead by daylight.. lmao

Inevitable? Maybe. Without being punished? Depends on the game.
I’ve never played a competitive game that didn’t allow smack talking your opponents.

Okay - let me put it this way. If the way these people were acting is not breaking the game rules, then where can we reach the correct decision-maker to ask them to reconsider the game rules. Because I *do not* want to be part of a community where this behavior is deemed acceptable or appropriate.
Dude it’s really not that bad. Don’t stay for post game chat if you don’t like people talking to you like that. Nothing is making you stay and respond. Or just stop playing the game.
-
Agreed. The animation is hilarious. 😂
-
All I’m saying is have some thick skin if your going to play competitive games with some sort of post game communication.

From what I'm seeing, blight would be useless without aura reading.
There’s plenty of builds that don’t use it lol. It just works very well as dead harder said. I’ve got 2 other pre made builds with no aura. Gen regression build and anti healing build.

I thought about using an endgame build for blight. Chip at them throughout the game then hit them with NWO, remember me, BW, maybe noed if not using alchemist.

Same as yours, varying sets of add-ons that I rotate through. Though I was running stridor and shadowborn only for the first week of the patch, felt good to hear survivors for once.
I don’t run any addons 95% of the time. But interesting, how’s stridor on blight?

Iron Grasp and Agitation to take them to basement. And also Lightborn is better than Shadowborn. True supremacy.
noooooo sirrrrr I cannot do without shadowborn. Idk how people do it. 😂
blight gets 3 perk slots. 😂
-
While yes it is annoying, I can promise it’s not easy. Most people cannot time saves for anything lol. I always take it as a team that isn’t doing gens.
-

I constantly get Swamp map, The Game, and Lery's as him. It's so annoying. Literally any other maps, I'm fine.
Bro same. Any other map I can compete just fine. But those maps i only got a 1k, just because I didn’t want to tunnel them out because of the map.

I remember that time I tried to tackle one of the Trapper tome challenges ... I played the Eyrie three or for times that night, even two times in a row. It was sooo awful. At one point I even had a ball rolling by trapping both windows in the main building. I had downed one survivor and trapped two others, but I just couldn't capitalize on that and they never stepped into any more traps that game.
Overall Trapper is a really sad boi, but the Eyrie with him is pure torture. And one of this days I will have to summon up the energy to finish "catch 55/100 survivors in traps". God, that one is the most miserable grind achievment out there. I would very much chuck another 1000 hatchets or be the man in the bush for another 300 tiers then catching just 10 more survivors in traps.
I feel your pain man. I loveee blight, but it’s been a bad start to killer so I’m going to play some survivor for a little. 😂
-
Eh idk, I don’t really have an issue with it and I see usually 2 in all my games. I also run aura blight so it’s easy to keep pressure up. 😂

(Please excuse video quality, PlayStation really compressed the video a lot when uploading, "I hecking love uploading from PlayStation".)
It's always a good idea to try and build up as much pressure as possible, during the start of the match, injuring multiple survivors can either result in people healing (thus not doing generators) or going down quicker in chase (thus allowing you to engage in more chases, people going for saves, and people not on generators) which creates even more pressure.
I think people forget how much pressuring survivors goes a long way towards doing well. One of the things I always recommend newer players to do is pick up on when to take chases, when to push generators, and how to generate pressure when needed.
(In all fairness, I dont really do this as often as I should. Half the time when I play killer, I just turn my brain off and have fun, sometimes focusing on winning can be stressful, so most of the time I let the mindset of winning take a backseat. But in this case I had an archive challenge to complete so worked for it.)
dude those survivors are bots.

Just a general question.
I know that some people dont do it, some people do, some have reasons for it, some dont. Id just like to hear some people talk about it. I always give hatch personally, I kind of see it as a nice gesture toward my opponents, since Im on Console, I unfortunately dont really get to see post-game chat, but Id imagine it at least has like one or two nice things in it whenever I give hatch.
If they earn it, yes. If not then no. Majority time no.

I've been waiting ages to use flashbang and blast mine, they seem like really fun perks to have. I wish I could just buy the perks anytime without buying the characters...
I said f it and bought Leon so I could run flash bang and head on. It’s been so much fun stunning the killer then following up with a bang. I get tunneled because of it a lot.. but oh well. 😂
-
Either your mates sucked at gens or you got rolled in chase. Being caught 3 times within 2 gens? I know it sucks being tunneled, but work on looping skills and that can turn into 5 gens done and 3 out, which I personally take as a win even if I die for it.
-
There’s always gonna be a meta man. There’s no point in getting stuck up on it. Just enjoy your matches.
-
Just because you don’t have fun, doesn’t mean the other 99% or the player base doesn’t. I love DBD, and still have tons of fun playing it. The survivors I go against most of the time put up a good challenge. I usually play blight and just go for crazy 180 flicks.
Solo q isn’t as bad as the forums make it out to be. The forums represent 100 players out of 50,000. Majority players aren’t on the forums complaining, they are on the game having fun.
