While I do use a controller cause I am bad with the keyboard, I am a PC player. Though thanks for the compliment good sir see you in the fog.
Hope to see you there!
If you play survivor at all and need some friendly people to play with, ever, let me know :)

Also grats on R2 Plague on console...Keep up the good work :)

There is no counterplay to his lunge. He is an ez mode killer now like Freddy. Every wraith cloaks, gets on your tail and then uncloaks and there is nothing you can do. Extremely unbalanced.

*basically auto-wins on any double vault tile due to infinite vaults*
He is truly indestructible.

I'm more excited to see what the devs do when their reviews tank (after being super high due to all-kill) just before the new Tome and new L4D/RE/Stranger Things collaborations.

One Example would be, if the Killer has Tinkerer, it makes more sense to use the Toolbox when Tinkerer triggered - this way you have a higher chance of completing the Gen before the Killer arrives.
Another example would be to use Toolboxes on the last Gen instead of one of the early Gens. The first Gen(s) of the game are the easiest, every Survivor is alive, the Killer has low Map Pressure and all ressources (Pallets) are still on the Map. In the Lategame, the Killer might have a lot of pressure, Survivors are on Death Hook or even dead and there might be a lot of Deadzones. So it makes more sense to save the Toolbox until this point, to make repairing the harder to repair Gens (aka the last Gen) faster.
It's a pretty good way to tell if a group knows what they're doing, imo.
If I see a lobby of toolboxes and two gens pop before I can do anything, I usually laugh and breath a sigh of relief.

I agree, but I must add a bit of a stipulation about this
They only started communicating with us about progress on that feature after a developer spoke out of turn about it and controversy was started.
The features are greatly appreciated though, I'm not colourblind but I'm glad people that are have those options.
Better 4 years late than never, but somethings stuff like that has to happen before the ball gets rolling, unfortunately.

What about bug fixes? What about stuff converting from console to PC? What about matchmaking? Just because they show a little bit of attention does not mean they care.
I'm sure an attempt will be made at bug fixes on Tuesday.
They never, ever promised universal cross-progression, though they did unify all players via crossplay.
Matchmaking changes are coming, though, admittedly, the amount of time it's taking for MMR to be implemented since it's announcement is borderline ridiculous.
-------------------------------
Your posts, though, are rather juvenile, and I honestly do not blame anyone, dev/mod/user, that opts not to interact with you.
-
Given their recent focus on accessibility, I'd have to say that they do care, imho.
-
I play every killer - I usually try to play a different one each game.

They did when they reverted Rat Livers nerf and buffed Demo again!
It was a nice change of pace...and so fast O_O
To be fair, they may have noticed it was an obvious misstep or something.

What are you rambling about?
My bad, I thought you wanted to discuss further buffing Lucky Break. I was just agreeing with you and adding some other needed changes for the game's balance.

@brokedownpalace said:
I hope they buff it to 2 minutes
I hope so, too, although 150s would be better for both sides.
Also thinking that 5s is a little low for Victor's stun. 10s would be fairer, given the obscene amount of time it takes to crush him.
Freddy buff is fine, though.
Farmville buff is ok, too.

Wich killers would need a nerf? No Nurse, Blight or Spirit would run a perk like this cause they already have the ability to travel across the map fast.
If you think they would not run this to have access to an even faster mobility option, I don't know what to say :(

Not a fan of guaranteed safe unhooks which, in turn, rewards sloppy/bad play and boosts people to ranks (and mmr presumably) that they shouldn't be at which, also in turn, leads to miserable games when matched with/against these people - It also makes farming weaker players for your own points/ranking benefit easier than ever.
-
Had a killer M1 me and then USED THEIR POWER TO HIT ME AGAIN IN THE SAME CHASE!
Dunno why they need multiple ways to do damage.

I don't take it seriously. I view it as a video game nothing more nothing less.
Why are you getting stressed, then?
-
Killer, more or less, relies heavily on their Player vs Player actions to actually progress their objectives.
I try to approach it the same way I approach Street Fighter or Blaz, in terms of mentality.
I'm in red ranks, both sides, blah blah, but I still play to learn instead of playing to win - It can be overwhelming, for sure, as you need to deal with wayyyy more information/decision making due to having 4 opponents instead of just 1.
I know it is hard, but try not to take it as seriously/just enjoy it - you'll get better faster and be able to win hard / lose bad without having a negative attitude.
-
Are you using wi-fi?

@Sonzaishinai said:
Babysitter could actually really use the new ds style of deactivates whenever you progress your objective.
Giving the unhooked survivor no scratchmarks or blood untill they touch a gen or totem or whatever would make it so much better without being abusable
This is honestly one of the best ideas I've seen here!
I'd personally also make it so that:
Healing the Survivor deactivates it (no need for a Babysitter at that point)
The Killer can see your aura and vice versa until the Survivor is healed or interacts with something, but you can ALSO see the Survivor's aura until they are healed or interact with something - This allows you (without voice/as a solo) to see if you need to attempt aggro, provides info on where to go if they remain injured for a while, and still carries a fair risk with your aura being exposed in the meantime.
-
The crazy and stupid stuff in solo queue is legit why I still play Survivor at all.
I love going into a game and rolling the dice @_@
-
You can swap Undying for something like Tinkerer/Brutal/Bamboozle or w/e if you want.
Either way, just have fun :)

The RE chapter has been in development well before it was announced.

They’re probably still discussing it internally and don’t have a definite answer yet. I’d rather they deliberate and analyse the PTB stats than make a knee jerk decision, personally.
Hopefully 'enough' people played the PTB this time for them to take the various opinions for/against certain changes into consideration.
Although, there is a literal wall of feedback regarding LB and The Twins across the various forums, so I'm sure there was.

Read the patch notes again dude, Killers got an epic buff for Zanshin Tactics! Not only did they remove the cooldown but they also increased the range of its aura reading, so Killers will always know when a survivor is heading towards a pallet, window, or a complete dead zone!
Knowledge is POWER, so with this buff under our belts, I'm certain Killers will be UNSTOPPABLE!!!! It's really no wonder they had to buff Lucky Break, I mean Honestly... How could survivors compete when killers know where all the loops and safe pallets are ahead of time?
/s
Assuming you play Doc, Zanshin Tactics is super useful now, allowing you to shock survivors to lock them out of pallets/vaults pretty consistently.

The TTV part is relevant because she was streaming so I could see / hear everything she was saying about me. Are you seriously telling me that if an AFK person told you “sorry for being AFK but my dog was choking downstairs so I had to leave” you’d blame them for making your game bad? LMAO. GOOD AND BYE.
Guess they didn't unlock Empathy, yet.
-
It's pretty funny that people still use "YOU X MAIN" as some type of argument when most players play both sides to some degree.
-
The Twins are being patched out of the game soon - People are just pre-emptively abandoning ship.

Add-On dependent, but playable.

I don't know what you're trying to say here... 🤨
Anyone that has played killer or has a novel understanding of the game would instantly recognize that permanently removing up to 8 hooks per game / removing the primary means for both the killer to progress their goal and for survivors to gain easy altruism points is never going to happen.

Then you end up hitting them instead before they can unhook and then downing them after and replacing the hooked survivor.
If you try to grab and it fails due to server response, you are stuck in the grab animation for a moment - If you then proceed to hit the rescuer mid/after unhook (depending on when you try to grab during the unhook animation/when you are frozen), the survivor with BT can tank the 2nd hit, leaving you with zero survivors on hook.
This is assuming the rescuer is healthy, of course.

To be fair the bugged pallet stuns did affect the “Stun killer 12 times” challenge. Most people had to rely on Head On to get these stuns.
Head-On also had the chance of not stunning, so even that was not guaranteed.

Oh, thats fine. You can think that only 4Ks are a win or open a Gajillion Threads about the BT-Change that does not even change that much.
But this does not change the fact that most of your examples in your opening post are basically just proxy-camping and not some "Skillful Endgame Actions". Like, using Deathslingers 16m-TR (obviously everyone will use M&A on him) to be near the Hook without triggering (current) BT is not really a mastermind-move. It is camping. (And this is just one example)
I don't think I said that a 4k is the only win condition, but I'll certainly re-read the thread to double check - To be honest, I win anytime I have fun or feel like I have had an impact on the trial in either role :)
No one said Deathslinger was that close to the hook, either, and I'm fairly certain the example I used stated that he was at such a distance that the survivor was speared immediately prior to exiting - Admittedly, I'm not sure on the exact math/distance that would require once you factor in reel time, as well.
If you add additional conditions to the scenarios I posted, then sure, every hit/use of power to try and prevent an escape is camping and not a 'mastermind-move.'

@ReverseVelocity said:
-You ready up a Huntress Hatchet from 32m away and hit the guy as soon as he's unhooked
-You stay 32m away as Wraith, returning and uncloaking immediately after the unhook and down the rescued survivor
-You somehow manage to catch up from 32m away as a 110% killer (lol) in under 12 seconds to go right after the unhooked survivor
-You chainsaw in with an instadown power and still go for the injured guy for some reason
-You stand 32m away from the hook as Nurse and use both your blinks to immediately go back to the hook
-You phase directly back to the hook like every Spirit main in existence
-You wait for the endgame to use a Corrupt Purge fountain, a double hitting ability and go directly after only the unhooked guy?
-You wait on a Demo portal until the unhook happens, immediately portaling back to the hook and downing the survivor
-You saved your power as Oni (ANOTHER instadown ability) and go after the injured, unhooked guy
-You rush immediately back to the hook as Blight, getting there in a few seconds
-You somehow walk all the way back to the hook and double hit with Punishment, all in under 12 seconds.
-You play Twins. Ever. (:P) No, but seriously, Victor can keep healthy people in the trial by grabbing them, why are you tunneling the injured guy?
These are all just straight up proxycamping or tunneling, not "skillful endgame actions".
BT not having a distance requirement will prevent killers from cheesing anti-camp and anti-tunnel mechanics, there are many killers that can close 32m of distance very quickly, or throw projectiles that do it for them. And besides, they're reducing the timer to compensate for this change.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2119555#Comment_2119555
Like this person said, if it wasn't BT, it would be DS. Like I said on a similar thread of somebody complaining about anti-tunnel perks in the endgame: Tunneling is still tunneling, whether it's at 5 gens, or when the gates are powered. The perks are doing what they're designed to do.
If you care about getting a kill in the endgame, your best option is (and always has been) to try for hook trades. Survivors can sometimes get over-altruistic and you can snowball off of it.
I agree with your end assessment for sure, but you're changing the quoted scenarios into something they are not (IE Deathslinger's Shot can cover 18m alone, you can hit both people with Corrupt [double hitting most likely will not occur at range] and the end result is still the same, you don't need to be within 32m to hit a long distance hatchet, underestimating the distance killers/survivors can cover in 12s, assuming the rescuer is still there/visible/viable target, etc).

You are making the BT-Change a far bigger problem as it is. And personally, I consider it already a loss if I have multiple Survivors alive when the Gens are powered/Gates are open, so I dont really care about BT-escapes at this point.
I certainly appreciate you sharing how you feel, but your feelings on both the BT change and W/L conditions are certainly not universal.

@Seraphor said:
If it's EGC and you want to secure your kill, your only option is to camp. If you want to make sure your hooked survivor results in a kill, you need to prevent the rescue. That's always been the case, because Borrowed Time was always a risk, and it's the only acceptable camping scenario for most.
Even if it wasn't Borrowed Time, it would be DS. You can never bank on downing and rehooking the survivor that was just rescued, and you shouldn't, because those are all mechanics to prevent tunnelling.
Best you can hope for is a hook trade, and anyone going for a last minute rescue is accepting that as a possibility.
With DS, at least, you can always opt to check for it/get it out of the way before EGC (assuming it is not the survivor's first hook).
