Hey that's my screenshot (bottom one), very happy to see it getting good use because man that sentence made me feel like the devs are clowns.

Honestly there's a lot of potential with deep wounds, anything from skillchecks that don't provide a great skillcheck like closing a portal, minor/weaker status effects, and making it get seen by Nurse's calling. But I'm going to guess they have no plans to touch it.

Tbh the easiest way to fix nemesis with legion is to make DW proximity based so you can't cheese out the DW timer. It'll also make BT against freddy actually viable so it'll be a win win
Only problem with that is the oblivious effect is supposed to make it so you don't know where the killer is, if the timer isn't going down you know he's near. I went with goes down a decent bit but stops at a certain point so you don't know if he's near you unless he's totally trying to cheese you
-
Because windows with 0 mindgame potential and an extortionate amount of possible time wasted are good for the game. Don't worry though one killer out of the whole roster can benefit from that stupid window which automatically makes it balanced.

With Doc being next on the c̶h̶o̶p̶p̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶b̶l̶o̶c̶k̶ list, Legion's "buff" has got me worried. Doc does not need any nerfs to compensate a buff as he is atm, and if he really might, as his change is that substantial somehow, don't bring him out with nerfs, the worst that happens is that he gets to dominate for first the time in his life during a ptb. Then actually use the ptb to measure his strength and THEN change him accordingly(should've done the same for The Leg, and any other future soft rework as, you know, the ptb is for testing).
That is all
Yeah I'd be scared too honestly, after the colossal failure of Legion balance wise in the past year I can see why you'd be worried.
-
Two things I complain about, as a survivor I hate how medium vaults are a death sentence against a killer with anything but a very good connection. 9/10 I'm already on the other side with my feet on the ground when I get cheesed by a hit that's complete bs. Killer wise I hate how Legion is in a complete trainwreck of a balance situation, no matter what changes come they never actually fix any of the core issues with the killer and either are a waste of time or a waste of potential. (You know a killer is terribly designed when the very rare/ultra rare addons are almost consistently worse than the greens with the exception of the blades and iridescent button, I'd take the rare+uncommon duration addons over any combination of very rare or ultra rares addons any day of the week).

The title says it all I tried buying Legion and I typically run Ruin, Monitor, Thana, Barbecue, and I consistently get smashed into the ground and am lucky to get one death where if I run Freddy or GF I can 2-3k pretty well. I try and not tunnel at all, I use my power to hit one surv then find as many as I can and tag them as well but by the time I tag 2-3 survivors my ruin is gone and 1-2 gens are done.
Basically what I am asking is how do you play this legion in a non-toxic way and get any results?
As odd as it sounds depending on your game knowledge (having a good idea where survivors are gonna be) you can get rid of BBQ, Legion is very good at finding people because as soon as you find one you'll find everyone. My build is Ruin, Sloppy, Thana, and Pop. I run it because I know his only real redeeming value is his stall potential and I look to maximize it and abuse it to the fullest. Obviously you're going to lose against a full 4 man sweat squad that actually knows what they're doing welcome to having 0 power in chase, it's just something you'll have to accept but against your average player you'll clean house, They'll waste so much time wanting to heal because Thana but when they do start to heal it takes forever (sloppy).
Chase wise I would try to mindgame at spots where they can't see you directly as much as possible, what I like to do is say someone is camping a pallet, I'll act like I'm going around and then comeback and lunge hiding my red stain till the last second and hit them, that's something you'll want to practice and make the most out of as a small killer seeing as how he has (almost) nothing else going for him in chase. Another tip is to focus people who need to mend, they will get a screen effect that greatly darkens their screen and it can make them an easy down because of it.
Mindgame wise you have a good bit available being a small 115% killer, faking one direction (hiding the red stain) and walking backwards towards where they're waiting is something you'll need to learn as Legion in particular is amazing at because he is so small. But to be fair don't overdo it, do one trick a couple of times only specifically against the same person and then switch it up randomly to fool them, early game good survivors are learning what you do in chase and how you operate, don't let them read you too well and keep them guessing.
One last tip is don't try to mindgame (or moonwalk more than once) at a pallet loop where they can clearly see you, do it too much they'll catch on and it'll just drag on how long they can keep that pallet safe.
-
Myers might be a worse Oni atm but look at Bubba, new instadown killer that has one of the fastest pallet breaks in the game, tracking potential with the iridescent addon, and an "in a pinch" mobility tool. Not to mention he stays fast while holding a club with the power to smite anyone unfortunate enough to be infront of him without 6 pallets to use.

This is correct. Same for Pig's traps. People were not happy they weren't getting kills with them, but they're really meant to slow the game rather than secure kills.
I'm just gonna try and make this short but why not reduce the fatigue cooldown to something like 3.5 seconds if you're gonna reduce the mend time from 15 to 12 seconds, if your power is gonna be less efficient at slowing them down why not just make the power feel less punishing to go into. It's one of the few killer powers in the game where it's not worth using half the time where as killers like Billy and Spirit for example really don't have to worry much about when they use their powers because it can be used either as an effective mobility tool and/or helps end chases. (I know Spirit is 110% thus needs a stronger ability but Billy is 115% like Legion)

To each their own. I've come to terms that legion will never be what he once was. And no matter what they do to him. I will never stop playing him. He has been my main since his ptb. And he will remain so.
I hear ya, I'm in the same boat I never stopped playing him either knowing full well he will never be as good as he used to, it's a personal challenge for me at this point getting him to rank 1 every season.

that looks fake. I can't believe they'd post that.
🤡 they're such clowns. Honestly they should've just said nothing and claimed ignorance, when they say stupid stuff like that it just makes them look extra incompetent.

You will love the new perk nemesis and beast of prey combo.
Well of course but there's a good chance that will eventually be patched out if not very soon, I mean in the long run. Oh well at least we can rest easy with the fact that Legion is getting Christmas sweaters.
-
I'm really dumbfounded how people consider gutting any on hit builds entirely and reducing your stall potential by decreasing the mend timer but instead you get 0.2 movement speed more and a better vault (which automatically stops you in place after vaulting so that speed buff is less than is less than it sounds) a buff. Not to mention they never bothered fixing Frank's and Stab wound study and he still has no power in chase.

For me it's a love and hate relationship, like I see Legion is getting a buff I get excited and then I realize it's just a mending nerf with reactionary buffs

I know the mend time was a nerf, what wasn't is the no stack and what most legion mains i know complained about
Yeah, sure it's not a complete buff but why isn't it a complete buff. It's not like you're buffing aspects of spirit so you need to nerf others, he's trash masquerading as a killer with only Bubba or clown being worse. There was no need to nerf something because we buffed other aspects

Wow, I can't believe they thought Legion getting a bit of a nerf would change the fact that they just nerfed the near worst killer in the game. By the way, love the name @RIP_Legion .

It wasnt a nerf, it is the same for every killer to not get stacks with m2
Yes it is a nerf, even a dev acknowledged it's a nerf.
-
We're complaining because we have enough sense to realize that gutting perk builds and reducing the mend timer for the sake of 0.2 movement speed and a better vault isn't at all worth it. Moron, even a Dev acknowledged it's a nerf
-
@Monlyth said:
I have no idea what you're talking about; I play Legion and this is easily a big buff for Legion overall. These changes don't weaken my main Legion builds at all, and the speed buffs make it much easier for me to catch survivors, traverse the map and apply deep wounds to multiple targets. And the Button add-ons are finally useful.
This is not a buff, even the devs acknowledged it's a nerf. Slightly faster speed does not make up for on hit perks being worthless and mend time being decreased.

The top mend time with Legion's two addons was ridiculous. So we considered, "What happens if we reduce mend time across the board?" Borrowed Time gets a buff, Legion gets a bit of a nerf, and some other things showed up on the list. We decided it was worthwhile to hit it across the board.
As always, we'll monitor the effect that has on the game, and act accordingly in the future.
Really... borrowed time needed a buff and Legion needed a nerf. I don't like throwing insults around on forums but man is it getting hard to not say anything negative, I think the best thing I can say is we live in completely different realities.
-
Nah chief this is a nerf, congrats you can mangle the next person you may or may not even get to hit after the first mandatory frenzy hit. Meanwhile as it is now everyone you hit gets mangled if you have sloppy (not banking on needing them to group up like idiots with your 32 meter terror radius for you to do anything meaningful) or you just get a boatload of STBFL stacks. So we get shafted with on hit builds going down the drain completely and they mend faster now but don't worry you move 0.2 meters faster, ######### off. Worst part they aren't going to do anything else to Legion after this for months so we're stuck with this garbage.
-
The people behind all of Legion's changes are some seriously incompetent people, this is a bandaid at best and it's not even a good one. They still haven't even touched Frank's mixtape yet, still garbage. But here's why this angers me the most, they aren't gonna do a thing to Legion for months after this, we're gonna be stuck with this PoS for months.
-
"The desire to destroy weaker bloodlines shaped into a literal force" amazing
-
Honestly yes if you kept the fact that you'd have to fully recover your power to be able to frenzy again, you hit someone 3 times in total with Frank's and 4 in normal they should go down considering for standard you'd have to recover your power 2 times extra and with Frank's just once. It would actually give him some power in chase and it's not like before where you just wait 3 seconds and insta down them after vaulting a pallet and missing has no drawbacks.
-
I see it useful for new players and learning maps. Other than that it's not gonna be taking up a perk slot for me
-

ANY MEANS NECESSARY: WHAT?! So... all members of SWF is gonna run this, you drop the God pallet at shak after a 2 1/2 mins loop, go away for 3 seconds whyle one of your teammates goes to it, fixes it, you return to shak loop, use god pallet again, repeat as much as you want as long as all 4 of you have the perk... Nice!
WHAT?! This is a must have for SWF that's gonna be tough AH to counter...
To be honest if it was broken pallets I'd be pissed but since it's pallets already thrown down it's not that bad.

Recently, there was an announcement that was released to the community that gave us all upcoming changes towards the next chapter. I will not comment on anything stated within it besides the perk, Beast Of Prey.
Beast Of Prey is a perk that gives the Killer no red stain when in a chase after getting bloodlusted. With what the leak has said, Beast will now reward the Killer with Undetectable. Now, on paper, this sounds really cool, it’ll help Killers deal with SWFs giving callouts to their friends while in a chase with perks like Alert and Object, but there’s a huge issue that will come of it.
As others have stated, and I myself will state, this perk will be heavily abused on Legion. Legion was heavily nerfed awhile ago due to an exploit that allowed them to chase a Survivor by means of moonwalking to avoid having the Survivor’s deep wound meter to deplete and easily get downed. With the changes, Legion’s deep wound was TR based rather than chase based. Here’s where the issues start to show.
Undetectable gives the Killer NO terror radius. This perk will give you the Undetectable status effect when in a chase. Legion can Frenzy and vault pallets while in a chase to keep up with Survivors. Need I say more on where this is heading? Do not go through with these changes OR rework the Deep Wound system.
TL;DR Legion + New Beast= Moonwalking Legion 2.0
Just to clarify while everything else is accurate Legion automatically loses his bloodlust when he activates FF.
-
I think maybe making the requirements for a fast vault slightly more lenient while running the perk, not by much at all though but something
-
@Auron471 said:
and they are going to nerf a certain killer again ;_;
But dood, 5.0 + 0.2 = needs counterbalance changes obv
-
Honestly I'd change her like this, no scratch marks basekit the only scratch Mark's you see are the ones before phase walk was activated(good spirit mains use sound mostly anyways, it's why using iron will and walking away from scratch marks is very strong against her), no collision (I've been outplayed a few times and accidentally bumped into the person giving me a free hit when normally I would never have seen them), change prayer beads to see scratch marks only (nobody other than spirit mains enjoys silent spirit let alone playing against it solo watching your teammates evaporate). Lmk what you think
-
You guys have a point about the vault speed how in some places it's no bueno, someone brought up the same point in a comment on the video and he realized it's a little too slow and can be helped with addons, not to mention Bamboozle with the power would be good.
-
Ngl bro it's just a word, it ain't a big deal. Way more ways to be toxic in this game aside from just calling someone the n word and honestly you can just move on to the next match and you'll end up forgetting it in another hour as if it never happened, there's a reason I don't pay attention to the post game chat unless I want to see someone I know is salty.
-
@TheRoyalOwl said:
So bloodlust 2 the power? Kinda boring.
Is having no power during chase fun?
-
To clarify this is not my idea, if you have any suggestions (I did) you can go to the video and comment your opinion and there's a high chance he'll answer any questions you have. I wanted to post this to give this guy a better chance at being heard because right now I don't think anyone seriously loves new Legion for more than 4 games.
-
Honestly seems good, as a balance factor if it's too good maybe make it so he doesn't go that fast immediately, kinda like how bubba has acceleration, like the first 2 seconds of the frenzy he is gaining speed with the last 4 being at top speed. Honestly he really need this kind of change, with how he is now even an addon buff wouldn't make him good, he has 0 power in chase atm and you will feel it against good players. There is counterplay to this power, treat it like a Nurse and use cover to trick him since he has no tools to find people other than line of sight, his power is short, and if he misses one hit his power is done. Btw in the video he does say Legion would turn back into a 110% killer with this power for anyone who didn't see it which makes a world of difference because this power with a 115% killer would be broken.
-
As Legion injuring everyone from the start in one frenzy is about as satisfying as it gets with Legion.
-
I'm gonna go with none, if everyone was as good as eachother than sure option 2 but there are always players that just aren't that good and don't deserve to have any escape against a better playing killer and vice versa there shouldn't be any guaranteed 4k's if the killer played awful unless the other team threw.
-
Face Camping from the start when the killer is in a really good spot (very early, no gens/ruin still up).
-
Nobody expects the Rank 1 Legion
-
Not my own idea (Farmer John) but it's a good one, why not make dull totems have a gen speed penalty, for every dull totem up it's a certain percent off like Thana. This would make Ruin less of a requirement for weaker killers as it slows the game down at the start. It also gives people a reason to do totems other than "he might have noed".
-
Clown base is abysmal, no exhaustion jugs makes him very weak.
-
Tunneling early when nothing happened yet is kinda scummy, but if things aren't going well, people are being #########, and I know you're the weakest link I hope you're ready for a good time.
