Got it twice in a row as spirit, got a 1k and a 2k, not that I care about kills, I got good points. Safe windows everywhere, it probably needs reworked next imo.
Not gonna lie when someone brings the Haddonfield offering I'm either finding someone and face camping them to death or I'm just flat out leaving at the start, I don't play video games to slog through the real bully simulator (no map is more unfun to play on when the surviving team is ready for it) since I already know everyone is bringing balanced along with every other meta perk for either an easy win or to make my game miserable. No thanks, I'll go on to the next match.

Ya they can get bent too. I feel like it's only children and pansies who DC because they are afraid the game ahead isn't going to obviously be I their favor. Own it and get stomped is better game ethics then turn tale and run.
Lol why would anyone want to waste their time vs 4 man that brought a strode key, they all are obviously bringing balanced landing and every other meta perk. No way am I wasting my time for their own enjoyment, at the end of the day it's a video game and we play them to have fun or for a challenge, not to play against sweatlords who are abusing a terribly designed map. "Better game ethics" alright you have fun fighting bully squads who abuse **** maps because you don't wanna ruin someone else's fun when they're whole intent is either an easy win or to make your game miserable. I play mediocre M1 killers only because I like a challenge but when the strode key comes up against an obvious 4 man I'm out, again I'm not gonna suffer for someone else's amusement and a lot of other people hold the same viewpoint.
-
I think she's ok (High C/low B tier), her power can basically make someone useless for at minimum about 30-ish seconds, making them run around find the right box. I see why they kept her crouch weak seeing as Ghostface's whole power is based on stealth, it still has its uses though. Her addons are ok with some being really decent and others too situational to be all that good.

This isnt quite true. The map with JUST corn you were mentioning is called Rotten fields, and was actually my FAVORITE map to play in as Old Freddy. Before his rework hit live, I actually burnt all my coldwind offerings, just so I could play on Rotten fields. Got myself a nice screenshot of getting a 4k in under 2 minutes (resulting in a black pip, lol).
Many of the larger maps just requires abit of smarter play on the killer's part. Temple of Purgation for example is HUGE, but the actual temple area is VERY unsafe for survivors and killer friendly. The gens next to and behind the temple have very little in the way of pallets, while the temple's gen is SUPER unsafe since it ONLY has super unsafe pallets around it. This map became my favorite to play as when using Myers, who once again... doesnt have mobility options.
I mean hey we all have our preferences, I personally dislike rotten fields and enjoy the temple. I dislike super easy to hide maps yet large maps like Yamaoka estate, it's annoying specifically without ruin to pass a gen, hear and see nothing, do a loop around looking for people and then that gen gets popped and not much has happened. I just don't see the point with maps like that, watched a team of survivors hide for 35 minutes on that map not doing anything, you can't get away with that on any other map except possibly rotten fields at least for some time. I'd rather play on Coal tower or Ironworks of misery even with the infinite than Yamaoka.

@RIP_Legion Peanits said they're aware of it, and don't know yet what went wrong with matchmaking. The team is looking hard into it, but don't have anything to report to us, yet.
It wasn't something they tweaked or did on their end, so how and why the issue has popped up is what they're searching for.
Well, I hope they find and fix it before the DLC drops, or delay the DLC if not. Because with MM like this, I seriously doubt they will retain any new DbD players. Even I am not touching this game or the DLC until it is fixed, and fixed right.
I getcha, I honestly figured it's more of a lack of people at a certain rank at the wrong time. Like for example if there aren't enough rank 4 killers in the queue when there are a lot of red rank survivors the matchmaker becomes more lenient. Not sure if I said that right I'm kinda tired. Have a gn
-
For a fix maybe add a ban/avoid system, like matchmaking preferences siege had for it's players. Not an outright ban but it's more like "avoid this map more". If a map gets "avoided" into oblivion by everyone then guess what, It means the majority of a Playerbase hates it and it needs some touching up. Outright bans would be too much and nothing as is right now is just not enjoyable especially at high ranks where a certain map can make or break you.
-
Honestly you're not the only one, my friend who is rank 10 fights rank 2's on a consistent basis, even more than me and I'm a rank 4, It doesn't make any sense. Why do I get purple ranks mixed with greens and he gets reds and purples?
-
Here's the thing, at red ranks Swf groups are everywhere (no surprise there, they do much better than solo players). My only problem is how massive some of the maps are, applying pressure on non Swf on large maps is much easier than trying to apply pressure to a Swf group on a huge map especially with a weaker killer it can feel nearly impossible and I can see why people hate it. Honestly if some of the maps like the cold winds were reduced in size (heck even if they were given a couple more pallets to compensate for the size reduction) I'd be fine with it. Applying pressure on a good 4 man on Rotten fields/fractured cowshed is a mountain of an uphill battle, if maps like that were shrunken a little it would be much more fair.
Not to mention you get scummy Swf squads all the time who run balanced with strode keys for easy wins but everyone already knows that.
-
Yeah, I gotta agree killers with no mobility tools are absolutely screwed on giant corn maps, you're almost guaranteed to lose if the survivors don't throw for example if you're Legion on a giant corn map like the one with just corn or the one with the barn. The matchmaker expects you to have Billy like mobility and if you don't you're nearly guaranteed a loss sometimes, and if you don't feel like playing a guaranteed loss and dc at the start you get banned eventually. It's just not fair, you can combat almost anything that survivors bring or do with skill and great use of your power but if you get a bad map vs good players it's gg. I understand there are bad maps for survivors too like the game, I'm not saying it doesn't need to be addressed and killer preferences are the only important ones but it's 1v4. I made this go too long but I'm tired and you get the idea, play a 115 killer on a standard map vs omega corn and you'll feel the difference hard.
-
Honestly some of the corn maps are braindead (specifically the map with only corn and the map with the barn), gigantic with of course the corn for easier hiding. Sometimes a gen gets done before I even find someone because they waited and I passed them, God help you if you don't have ruin on those maps and they don't play awful.

I see so many people crying about DS being too OP still. Their only argument is that they see "every" survivor using it.
Let's think on that for a second...
DS is an anti-tunneling perk. Nothing else. So if "every" survivor is using it and you keep getting angry about that; it only means two things.
- You tend to tunnel quite often if you're hit with DS as much as you say.
- Most people tend to tunnel quite often if "every" survivor feels the need to run it.
It's more than that, it's easily abusable especially at the end of the game, it becomes a free body block and there's nothing you can do about it at that point. First game I ran the meta build I abused it and it required nearly no effort on my part. If I didn't have it a dude who was a pancake would've died, killer had him dead to rights, everyone was injured and I body blocked the F out of him and there was nothing he could do at that point when he should've had a final hook.

When the killer attempts to Mori you, succeed a Skill Check to recover from the dying state and headbutt the killer, stunning them for 5 seconds.
Receive 30/40/50 percent more bloodpoints for surviving the trial.
What do you think?
------------------------
The vanilla Mom was OP, and the reworked MoM is not good.
My idea is to turn MoM into a Mori defense perk. It also fits the theme of Mettle of Man and is something Ash would be capable of doing. The added bloodpoints is to make the perk not a wasted perk slot when killers don't bring a Mori. Also, no extra animation will be needed as the jump recovery from the dying state to the injured state can be considered the "headbutt."
Honestly I really like this idea, mori's have no real counter at the moment and honestly it would be fun to use if it worked. Even if they don't bring a mori you at least get bloodpoints (which survivors really don't make much of at the moment). I'd love to see them do animations if they went with this.

Introduction
Since The Legion received its (terrible) rework, a mechanics that affected multiple players gameplay have been taken away, I'm talking about missing a hit during Feral Frenzy. But besides that, they brought us some useless things: the pins. With that, I would like to bring an rework idea to them by bringing good old mechanics back. It's my opinion, you can have yours as well.
Smiley Face Pin - common
A friendly looking, bright yellow button used as a sarcastic statement.
- While in Feral Frenzy, you can miss 1 more hit before ends the power immediately.
"You can have this one. We have a lot of them." -- Susie
Defaced Smiley Pin - uncommon
A once friendly looking, bright yellow button of a defaced smiley. A signature icon of The Legion.
- While in Feral Frenzy, you can miss 2 more hits before ends the power immediately.
"Come back you little piece of sh-t!" -- Julie
The Legion Pin - rare
A handmade button with the face of The Legion. To use exclusively on intimidation dares.
- While in Feral Frenzy, you can miss 3 more hits before ends the power immediately.
"I gonna show you who The Legion is." -- Frank Morrison
Fuming Mix Tape - Ultra rare
Dark beats, violent shreds and unfathomable vocals from another world fill the mind with a vibrating sixth sense.
- Missing an attack during Feral Frenzy doesn't ends the power.
- Considerably reduces the Feral Frenzy duration. (2.4 second)
"You can't do this forever. I can." -- Joey
Let me hear your thoughts ;) Legion haters please do not disturb.
For the pins the devs did say they were looking to make them on hit so those should be fine. Honestly with Fuming that would be useful without the downside specifically so you can lunge spam to go farther like with old Legion. Not sure if I'm going too far but combined with the ability to see gen progress would make it a really solid but not op considering that when you hit someone you can't see gens anyways. On a side note the quotes were enjoyable to read since those add a bit more to the killer, good effort.

@FishFry247 Insta heals are countered by insta downs. They're fine as far as items go, they also use up the med-kit. Moris are uncounterable and do not counter anything, except for the ability to play the game.
@ElusivePukka If you can stockpile them, then are they REALLY rare? Most things that are considered rare have like a 1%(or less) drop chance in games.
Really insta heals are counter-able, that's a good one. "Just bring Franklin's bro, just give up one of your 4 perkslots for something that's 'rare' man, not like most 115% killers are very average and need all 4 perks for a build good enough to compete at purple/red ranks or anything". Not to mention the vast majority of killers have no way to insta down, making that point meaningless against: Wraith, Nurse, Hag, Doc, Huntress, Pig, Freddy, Legion, Clown, Spirit, and Plague. Not saying Ebony mori's aren't dumb, but if you wanna remove those because they aren't rare enough for how game changing they are then you'd have to remove ultra insta heals as well, just saying.

Reasoning? Because you're a biased killer main or is there any logic to be found?
Because a toolbox/medkit isn't an ability, survivors aren't supposed to have that much at their disposal all the time, I'm sure you've heard but it's a 1v4 game and maps are usually huge, the game would be a mess if survivors could basically self care every match at no cost to them without taking up a perk slot. Survivors don't even need that in their basekit to be successful, it's not required to win like a killers basekit especially considering certain perks can act as an item medkit-selfcare, toolbox-prove thyself. If they did this they'd have to up the killers basekit slightly or make actions take longer (which nobody liked btw) just to be even. Another problem is let's say a good toolbox is always a part of a survivors basekit, why would I not tunnel him out of the game and get rid of that toolbox that I know he always gets.
On the main topic as you can guess I disagree, when I see one medkit and a toolbox I don't have a problem, but when it's 4 bloody people who join at the same time with items galore those are people who are trying to guarantee the win or make the killers life miserable, that's why people lobby dodge because it is that unfun to where most people would prefer backing out and going back into the slow queue then suffer for 4 other people's enjoyment. If you could see what people are running on their items (addons and rarity) then I'd be at the very least unhappy with that change so I know at least when to dodge otherwise I and most killers would rather not play the bully simulator.
-
Just because a change was needed doesn't mean it needed to be spat out without a second thought, the timing was unfortunate specifically being released with the end game collapse and the infinite mending bug. Hopefully they get around to actually fixing him after the new dlc is out.
-
Yeah, people automatically killing themselves (intentionally or accidentally) is dumb, if you wanna insta die just let go and if someone save you you get another chance and it doesn't rob survivors and the killer, if you mess up you don't instantly die the process just speeds up for a second.
-
I'm pretty sure that's a yes, though I'm not sure of the specifics whether it's just leave a report or send in video proof of him working with the killer.

I already agreed with the fact that it was broken. Never said the opposite.
Being able to knos in advance if a survivor has it give more conterplay for these reasons
1 you always see him but he dont see you, is not like object of obsession. Having a constant aura reading is really powerfull, espacially for a stealth killer.
2 most killer that had problems with the old MoM are killer good to take a first hit, but that have an hars time to close a chase. With this change, they will be the best at countering MoM since it goes away with the first it.
Letting it activate with safe unhooks like it did in the PTB is a good idea in my opinion and i would be fine with that.
Most killers complained when it came out, and i want to find a solution so everyone (or at least who has a brain) like and enjoy the new version.
That's my bad then, I was just uber tired it does kinda make sense now.
-
I agree, almost everyone runs the perk and put me in basement then I die. To change this I think it shoudl remove the time to die in basement speed boost, also I can't Kobe off the hook when the op killer runs this perk so I think it should only reduce the chance by 1%, this video is proof of that: https://youtu.be/MfJesiEM82M
To balance these changes I believe it is right to remove killer shack window entirely when running the perk (on the gaem remove one way in) that way if killer shack pallet is used wastefully the game is almost unwinnable at times. Agree with me or you smell
-
No, just no. It already did activate after 3 basic hits, that's why everyone who didn't abuse it (and even some who did) wanted it nerfed, it was guaranteed to activate unless you tunneled the guy to death after first hook and it was for all intents and purposes a free hit to tank. Being able to be seen from a certain distance away doesn't mean anything when the game is over and the gates are open, it would take so long to kill a good survivor running this with dead hard and decisive that it was a lost cause trying to kill someone with that loadout unless you just mori'd the trashcan, problem is everyone ran it meaning it wasn't just one guy it was usually all 4. Making it to where you could see if someone has it ready doesn't mean anything because if they want you to hit them they can bodyblock with ease and make sure you waste time on them. The perk was destroyed for a reason and honestly it earned it for how disgustingly overpowered it was but I agree having a totally useless perk isn't a good thing. Here's my idea for a rework, 3 or 4 combined protection hits and safe unhooks and the perk will activate how it is now, just make it actually possible to activate without throwing your life away (so 2 safe unhooks and 2 protection hits makes it activate).
-
What an abysmal rework, 0 thought was put into his addon changes. How do you screw up so badly that you make not one but TWO purple addons totally useless Frank's does literally nothing if they played a single test match and tried using that addon they would immediately see how pointless it is, stab wounds study does pretty much the same exact thing but it only applies once and is even worse than hitting someone with Frank's
-
I kinda like that, much better than what it is now. Definitely more creative
-
Only with Thrilling but if the killer is decently close to you and the totem breaks they can hear that pop
-
I agree, survivors are nearly guaranteed an automatic loss and killers lose out on a boat load of points when someone DC's, especially when 2 or more dc nobody makes anything and the game is over, everyone who stays loses their stuff on a waste of a match and that's it. Nothing gained, waste of time
-
Honestly, I'm still onboard with totems having a slight gen progress speed. For each totem still active add a 2-4% decrease in repair speed, it's not hard to do totems most players I run into just do totems anyways for points, it'd give more of an incentive to do them aside from just farming.
-
Things that make me spare people are usually people pointing out a bug or something that looks really dumb, if they 3 genned themselves with a dude dead but didn't give up I'll give the last guy hatch, and David's running No Mither (because of the adept, that is with bad luck unspeakably painful and I'd rather just make their day much better), and people that help me farm (Idk if it's just me but if I'm playing freddy with dream pallets I try to farm it and some people do help). Things that guarantees death are teabagging at every pallet and instaheal spam, back when MoM was a poison in this game I'd specifically tunnel them to the ground, I don't run addons usually so I didn't lose anything (on a side note I loved Legion especially since he could completely deny MoM from even happening with frenzy spam)
-
@Might_Oakk said:
If I remember pre-rework you had to
1) Enter feral frenzy
2)Hit survivor A
3)Hit survivor B
4)Find survivor A again and down them from feral frenzy consuming their mend timer.
How do we do this now if feral frenzy no longer shortens / consumes the mend timer? One of the final achievements I need.
Nah, just hit a survivor with frenzy and then hit them normally and that will count
-
In the most recent QnA when the Freddy rework came out they did say they were going to buff him, specifically his addons. No ETA though, I wouldn't hold your breath it'll probably take a while for them to do it.
-
Damn this is a tough question for me, I'd say the Legion "rework", more like butchering. Sure moonwalking was bad and that needed to go but they nerfed aspects that had no business being nerfed like the vault/frenzy speeds.
-
Honestly for me I'm the same way, I'll be lenient about bad saves if I'm winning but if it's one gen left and 4 people are alive you better have Dstrike. I usually never get toxic messages anymore unless I was just blatantly being mean, but if I know someone who's a piece of garbage on their team I will be face camping them, I'll happily throw a game where I used no addons or offerings just to end a "bullies" game. "If I can't have at least a decent game because of you, you sure as 'not nice word' won't either".
-
I agree with everything you said but I'm not gonna lie, I kinda hate the detection range addons. Sure it'll show you people far outside your terror radius but you have no hope in hell of reaching them even if you saw them with it, not to mention they replaced the speed addons with that and honestly all I really want is for them to bring back his speed when running and vaulting, it's pathetically easy to loop with a pallet when his power is supposed to counter it, you can easily either hide next to the pallet when he vaults or keep running and it's a guaranteed escape and good players will punish you with it if the opportunity presents itself, because he'll either turn in place or keep running hoping you didn't go behind him, wasn't one very easy miss and your entire power is gone for 20 seconds plus the awful cooldown enough counterplay?
-
I'm honestly really happy about the upcoming Legion buffs, all these addons and only a select few are really decent. I'm ok with Legion as he is now, he's by far my most played Killer and I'm ok with him, but his addons are complete garbage, I'd like to have some more options/more builds available.
-
Part of it is it's 1v4, the killers need great perks to have a chance of winning, it's why so many people buy Hag and Bubba, not just to play them, but for the perks. Having a good set of perks vs a bad set of perks can completely ruin the killer. It can already be stressful enough 1v4 but without good perks on your side if you're not playing a strong killer or specifically a strong build don't bother playing near the red ranks.
-
Honestly I like the original comment the best, not spammable like M&A but not very rare. No red stain is a huge power and hiding it well already messes with people when done right, but as it is now the power is very mediocre just because it's so selective. If it were to stick around past bloodlust and in chase after it activated it would be really nice (with a cooldown).
-
Honestly he's not bad, not great either. He's different, but against great players you're gonna suffer. He is satisfying though especially at the purple ranks, it's a challenge but not too bad. His power usually always diminishes as the game goes on, can be amazing early on if people don't start running too early, but it's also good for securing the 4k when the game is pretty much won, useful for finding the selfish people who camp the hatch/wait in a locker while their team dies as he can see and grab people in lockers when killer instinct is active.
-
To be fair in the latest QnA they specifically said they have no plans on nerfing him, so breathe easy guys
-
Yet still get trashed at the end chat. What gives? Lately I've seen 3 categories of survivors.
Yeah, it's kinda why I proxy camp and have no second thoughts about running scummy builds or punishing bad saves, and now have a mori list for special people. These people are so miserable that they need to bully others who just wanna have fun, and honestly I had enough of it long ago. Occasionally I'll depip down to rank 12 just to find sweatlord Swf squads (I can tell decently quickly who is who) when I play against bad people I play as weak as possible to give them a shot, against salty players I dumpster them. I started doing that after my friend (who is a real rank 12, kept getting Swf squads over and over again, with a bunch of people in purple ranks and then 2 gray ranks who very obviously are smurfs) and it just made me annoyed, he wants to run a meme build like no perk Bubba? Commodious/Insta heal spam with BNP and teabag at the exit gates.
Yet they still wonder why awful killers (not the player themselves but the killer) are rarely ever seen use in high ranks, because you will get bullied, you can play as nice as you want but pieces of garbage are gonna be pieces of garbage.
Thanks for reading my rant if you did.
-
I have 3 in mind: Legion, Trapper, and Leatherface. Legion has the most useless power, but he's the newest of these 3 killers.
Legion doesn't need very much changed, some things need to be improved like vault speed/frenzy speed but aside from that his addons are awful, some of them don't even do anything anymore(Frank's and Stab wound study).
-
Yeah that's a no from me chief, that 60 seconds is so easily abusable at high ranks as it is, it should honestly run out when 60's is over when downed. I'll have downed dudes randomly body block for another guy, pick them up, and get stunned into oblivion because I was so focused on downing another dude that I won't notice it and it's already too late. It's gonna be even worse when Enduring gets changed to only be pallet stuns, DS is punishing enough already especially now that the obsession 60% of the time for me doesn't even have an obsession perk.
-
I see it happen a lot, I almost always run Bamboozle and it kinda ######### me over here and there. I'll see the window "Blocked" and the survivor will just vault through it anyways.
-
Jungle gym's and T and L walls aside, who here just likes the loops where all you do is circle, let's say a rock, until the killer catches up and you use the pallet?
Tbh I like loops where you can mindgame the survivor, on loops like the benches next to the pallet it's best just to force them to throw it down because there's no mindgaming a decent player when they can see your entire body and you can see them, just end it asap and hope the next loop is more risky. Not a fun game mechanic, just stressful honestly watching gens pop while you're chasing one dude. Jungle gyms as a standard 115% killer like Legion and Bubba are a nightmare without Bamboozle against a really good player.
-
Not gonna lie, everyone and their mother sweats when BPS are in the game, it's high stakes. Why not test making it an addon that doesn't show itself like Mori and Shrouds (though I'm not sure how that would go). As a killer I don't like to sweat with them on, but I'll run into a teabagging Ash/P3 Claudette with the crutch combo, and of course I'll tunnel him into the ground and end his game even at the expense of mine (usually the latter never happens but I've already excepted it), I'm very good at ending chases. It's just not fun having to sweat on a match where I'd rather chill a bit.
-
Honestly there already is a perk that counters ruin, it's called Stake out. Automatically hits greats just for being semi near the killer and you can save 4 at once, really speeds up progress and overall a good, nonmeta perk
-
Something like that but decreased would be better, it's not enjoyable getting gen rushed to ######### all the time, by the time one chase is done and the guy is hooked a gen or two is already done, sucks that the game is balanced around really strong killers and doesn't accommodate for weaker ones.

Legion gets more play on console than pc. He is actually extremely popular on Xbox.
That was before the rework, I'm the only other Legion main I know of on Console, most Legions I run against are complete baby killers and I don't blame them, he sucks. Not to blow my own horn but I just wrote quite a large review on how I feel about him ever since the rework (spoiler, it isn't positive but I put effort into explaining what I feel is bad about him in great detail)
-
I might as well give out some perk builds I run just so it's not all doom and gloom, I've played Legiom for way too long. Standard money making build is Bbq, Enduring, spirit fury, and Ruin. Another strong build is Save the best for last, Bamboozle (awesome perk for him and it totally negates most of the vault speed nerfs except for pallets but it's bad at all) spirit fury, and enduring. A sweat build I'll run if I hate someone or playing red ranks is Noed, Bamboozle, spirit fury, and Enduring. Ofc there are alternatives to spirit fury and Enduring mainly being Thanatophobia and Sloppy butcher but I find it more useful to be able to eat through all the pallets in the map before the game ends, and trust me you will whether you like it or not.
-
There are some typos but you get the idea
