This perk is fine. Simple as that.
-
OoO being unfun to go against? Bro how could you not have playing against this totally balanced perk?
-
The only thing that I dislike about the basement is basement Trapper.
Aside from that though it's completely fine.
-
There's honestly no killer that I really find intimidating. Michael and Ghostface I guess are scary but only when they jumpscare you.
-
For all the wrong reasons.
-
Lucky bastard, hope ya have fun.
-
Bubba has chosen you.

I personally believe the game would absolutely implode and crumble to dust by the time is up. I have a pretty decent amount of friends who wouldn't (and don't) play it without inviting a couple peeps in and queueing up to get destroyed, how much does everyone else consider DbD a party game?
Last we got numbers, some half of survivors are in one kind of SWF or another.
It'd be a damn interesting to watch play out, at least.
Dead By Daylight is in a very weird state where some consider it a party game and some consider it challenging and competitive game.

If the do a resident evil chapter, I would expect the original characters like they did for Silent Hill ,the Pyramid Head we have is the first pyramid head in Silent Hill 2 and, I'm sure all the resident evil fans would want that. The remake version is 9 ft tall but the original is apparently 7 ft 3 in
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/Z8029B2G3ZOC/20210107-133925.jpg
I know there's the new generation of resident evil, so the could add other newer ones as legacy skins, like mister x,T-002 ,remake 3,Leon and Clair legacy skins .
How the hell do I weigh more than Nemesis? Man, the og one was small compared to the remake.
-
Daddy Campbell's Chapel is my favorite because it probably is the most balanced map and isn't dark as hell.
I also liked the pre-reworked MacMillan, but the breakable walls and how dark it is killed my enjoyment of it.

No way Nemesis is incredibly terrifying, the original game, Resident Evil Nemesis had an unscripted Nemesis, He shows up where he's supposed to during segments and and sections, but those moments when it's just you and Nemesis we're some of those nerve racking moments, not only was he inhumanely large, but what made it even more scarier was when he sprint's at you out of nowhere.Ive heard plenty people claim he's terrifying.
He didn't always have his rocket launcher, 2 or 3 section and a cut scene, but most of the time he used his fist tentacles, because Jason used traps in one or two movie's people think he should be like the trapper. In a game like Fr13th traps work for Jason, but in DBD he should be able to do so much more ,I guess he should have traps to maybe idk,I'm a Pyramid Head main.
Also original Nemesis chasing you in DBD ,I believe I'd be scared.

Original Nemesis is probably around the plague height, and pallet slamming, how is that worst then him having door lock on him as he punch clips door and not break it ?him being flash banged to death then dissolving as he harlem shakes but at least that was re3make, His clothes is cool but his face,id like it.
Plague can't me more than seven and a half feet, Nemesis is at least eight or nine feet tall. Nicholai even says in Resident Evil Resistance that Nemesis "feels no pain". I'm not sure how true that is, but a piece of wood would not be enough stop Nemesis at all.
-
I pretty much agree with everything here, I can see reasons behind all of these placements.
-
Console Blight, he's just so bad. If not him than Wraith.
-
Wraith would probably be a lot higher because of windstorm.
-
Michael and Pyramid Head would win, because they're literally unkillable. But without dlc I'd pick Oni.

I mean that's you're opinion if pyramid head wants to look like he's gliding then that's fine, it's alot of ground to cover. This such a strange reason to not want Nemesis in the game.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1855931#Comment_1855931
Nemesis is the more iconic and better variant of all the Tyrant's.All Tyrant's use their fist, and claws due to their mutation.Nemesis is very unique his mutations made him the strongest tyrant.Hes a fan favorite since his inception in 1999. Three decades he's been in multiple crossovers, and was a featured character in the movie's.Mr X is just another monster from that universe and that's all plus he got killed by Birkin who couldn't beat Nemesis in the comics.
Mr. X is almost just as iconic as Nemesis. It's not a matter of which is physically stronger, because that's Nemesis, but who would work more for this game.
Nemesis would have to be shrunk a couple of feet, which would just look goofy, and he'd be way to strong for this game. It would be plain weird looking at the being that was blown up and crushed-without being affected, getting stunned by a piece of wood.
-
Didn't they say the Blight changes are coming in the mid chapter? I'm not sure about any of these other things.
-
I'd say I play like 70/30 for killer and survivor.
I main Legion as killer, but also like playing Bubba, Clown, and Freddy.
As a survivor I main Quentin and Ash.
-
Dead By Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game.

Yeah this pretty well covers everything I was going to say. Granted I'm not sure what's wrong with P3 Ace you may have to let me know.
Regarding 12. Shrine of Secrets - I cannot count the last time I even bothered with the Shrine since I save my points for cosmetics now. To me the Shrine of Secrets is just a complete waste of time now even without cosmetics I already have most perks and the Bloodpoints I get for cashing in on dupe perks isn't worth it.
Luck is especially something I'd bring up. Outdated mechanic that's useless most of the time.
P3 Ace just looks very ugly imo. It looks like someone sprayed him in cheep dollar store blood, and it's like weirdly coated to his body.
Once you get every perk the shrine is never useful, though I did use it when I first started playing.
Luck is also outdated yeah.

I agree with some people here that Mr X would be a better choice, and I think the devs would actually manage to come up with some unique power for him that fits DBD but also fits the character and his own franchise.
Take the example of Pyramid Head, he does not have any of the powers he has in DBD in the original Silent Hill games, and yet the cages & trails stuff fit the character and are very spot on when it comes to recreating the... vibe, he had, in SH2. Despite having a bunch of powers that the og PH as far as I remember did not have.
Now I'm no RE expert (haven't gone through all the video games and stuff yet), but I believe the DBD devs + the RE devs (who, I imagine, would be consulted about the killer's possible powers in case a RE killer happened, I think they consult the original owners of stuff to make sure the power fits their character) would be able to come up with something. If anything, I'm more worried about the possibility of a RE chapter ever happening, given that RE Resistance is a thing.
I actually made a fanmade chapter about Mr. X.
I don't wanna pat myself on the back, but I feel like I did a decent job at still making him interesting despite him not doing anything "cool" in game. I'm just some random guy, so if I can make a alright chapter about him, professional developers could probably do a very good job on making him interesting.

The final survivor should have a way to escape, but the hatch is way to RNG.

They could just make him the same size as the Oni, not every license character's high has to be exactly right
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1855574#Comment_1855574
Every license killer gets stunned by pallets, Demogorgon, Pyramid Head, the pig, they character who you don't see act they way they really do in their original places. Its not about how they work, its about wanting to play as the character. And yeah, it would be terrifying.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1855540#Comment_1855540
Thank you, Nemesis is more iconic to the series, have you noticed Nemesis is used as addiction characters on games like Marvel Vs Capcom and other fighting games? I haven't seen Tyrent or Mr X (aren't they the same guy?) on anything else other than RE. I mean, Nemesis was the subtitle of the 3rd game itself and on the cover.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1855660#Comment_1855660
I would've thought the RCPD building would be the map, it was in the remake of the 3rd game for a moment
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1855684#Comment_1855684
Yeah, it was small, but everyone thought this because they said 'the 5th anniversary will have lots of Stars', stars being the special units Nemesis was hunting. It wasn't big enough to confirm anything, but its something to think on.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1855780#Comment_1855780
I went with the flamethrower because the rocket launcher doesn't seem very useful in the Entity's realm
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1855633#Comment_1855633
I liked Nemesis in the remake, looks alot cooler to me
To answer you question, no Tyrants and Mr. X are not "the same person".
Tyrants are actually not person, but rather a code name umbrella gave to their b.o.w.s.
Both Nemesis and Mr. X are tyrants, and they were both cloned from the Tyrant that was in Resident Evil 1.

I mean the game was made for PC originally. If you don’t have the required specs that’s too bad. The dark mist offerings used to be significantly more impactful and would easily aid stealth killers in getting downs. Now they are kind of a joke in the name of console optimization.
I do play on console. God bless my heart if someone puts one of these stupid bottles on and I get MIdwitch or Lery's.
-
I know he's technically a "power", but it seems weird to me that he isn't affected by cosmetics.

They did have the thick mist offerings but I swear they are broken or have been nerfed. A purple mist used to black out the map and make everything much more close quarters. Now they are not really that noticeable which is a shame.
The only thing mist offerings actually succeed in doing is lagging the game.
-
I actually made a thread about this same thing awhile back. One dude came up with idea of adding some sort of fog that makes survivors not be able to see anything outside 24 meters, which I thought was a pretty cool idea.

That was a typo. I meant decreased. Oops.
Ohhhh, yeah, that makes way more sense. Aside from that this killer seems pretty good, solid slow down, map pressure, and lethality.
-
Wait, survivors gain a 15% increase to action speed while cursed? Why are they rewarded for the killer using their power effectively? That's a pretty big boost, survivors will probably try and get cursed just so they can't get that action speed bonus.
-
If they were to make a FNaF chapter, Springtrap would work far better as a killer in my opinion.

Am I the only one who wants to see Leon S. Kennedy as Survivor?
That's another reason why I want Resident Evil 2 as a chapter, I happen to Like Leon more than Jill.

Console is just laggy as hell, I'd chock it up to dbd being dbd. There's a small chance they were lag-switching, but that seems unlikely.

RE1 Tyrant would be the better choice. No ranged weaponry, scarier design. Also wouldnt look goofy running like Nem and X would.
The Re1 tyrant is a lot less popular than Nemesis and Mr. X, and wouldn't be as cool imo.
-
*Let me guess, console?
-
I'd love to choose my own totem spawns. That way it won't be starring at a gen while completely out in the open with nothing blocking it. *Looking at you Disturbed Ward.
-
It wouldn't work against swf at all, which is likely why we will never see a killer like this.
-
The only problem with this is Neme is like 8 or 9 feet tall. The devs would have to rework literally every doorway in the game for him to fit correctly. This is why Mr. X would work better as a Tyrant for this game, he's very tall, but not as tall as Nemesis. Personally, as I have said many a time before, I'd like to see Jack from Resident Evil 7. He has a human body, isn't tyrant level tall, and is scary.
-
Imma keep it a buck fifty, the matchmaking in this game is so ass.
-
Do P3's count?
-
I mean good job on the 3k, but what are you trying to say?
-
Wait, survivors still dc against moris?
-
Sorry mate, but both of those killers suck. I'd pick Plague for her perks, but you already have em'.

No, it isn't. It allows the killer to instant down and kill you. I can hardly have a decent match without playing totem finder builds because the hex perks for killers are insanely overpowered. I would like to play other perks than small game and other items than a map every single game without the worry of the killer using devour hope to get a sudden major power boost.
"the hex perks for killers are insanely overpowered." Quick! I need to grab my Third Seal, Retribution, Huntress's Lullaby, and Thrill Of The Hunt for and EZ win! No, most hex perks are garbage.
As for devour, why hasn't it been cleansed? Totems are bad because they're so easy to find. You said it yourself that you use totem finding builds, so why are you struggling? If the killer manages to actually get to five tokens, they have earned that mori. You get a warning when the killer has it once they get to three tokens, so don't save the guy and instead go find it.
-
I like "tricking the killer" perks like these. They make for some fun and funny moments.
-
Devour Hope is completely fine.
-
Better, but I doubt anyone would run it still.

I'm curious about your criteria for this list (vs one for PC) - is it mainly the maneuverability factor (keyboard+mouse vs controller)? I mean, the biggest "gripe" I have going against PC players (as a Killer on console) is the circle-jerking/spinning survivors that spin their way out of my attacks. It's a legit strategy, it's just high sensitivity movement, I get it, but it is annoying.
I took into account the poorer controls and the awful frame drops.

@[Deleted User] said:
As a console Nurse main, she's still the best killer in the game even with a controller. Oni goes to S tier, Huntress goes to B tier and Hillbilly goes to A tier imo.
Blight's a special case, he has by far the worst FPS on the game on console (makes me wonder if they even TESTED this killer) but he's still A tier in my opinion, but it depends a lot on how the FPS performs.
Blight: He is a nightmare to play on console, I've play'd over 30 games as him, and it is hard with a capital H. Wonky controller movements and constant frame drops make him near impossible to play, I still think he's better than wraith though, solely because of his mobility.
Nurse: She is still very good on console, and she just barely didn't make it to S tier. Again the controller movements and frame drops really hold her back. It feels like every time I blink it lags the game at least a little.
Oni: He's a pretty good killer, but I don't think he's S tier. His early game is his weakest area, and he still be ran by good survivors even in Blood Fury. I'm by no means calling him weak, he's very strong, but again, not S tier. With ST I'd say he can make it to S tier, but I'm not counting add-on's.
Huntress: Even with a controller, I still think Huntress is at least A tier. Honestly though, I can see her in B.
Billy: Like Oni, I think Billy is still pretty good, but not A tier. Where Billy shines is out in the open. In chase, thanks to overheat, he can no longer go for as many chainsaws during a chase, and he can still be ran by good survivors. Because of this is chasing ability is still pretty good, but not amazing.
Regardless, thank you for your opinion.

Gonna Give It To Ya: When all generators become powered, X will spawn on the map and walk around looking for survivors. X will remain in the trial for 10/15/20 minutes. If X comes into contact with a survivor, they are instantly killed.
