I love how simple your list is with just 3 rows but as for Freddy you should play him more he’s actually top 5 material he’s awesome he can teleport to gens and can stop loops and jungle gyms with snares and best of all the survivor mains love Freddy imo Freddy should be high tier on your list and Leatherface and legion should switch spots
Freddy is less garbage, but still has low mobility.

There is an exit open , right there for people that don't want talk with others but only screams.
They are clearly and politely talking with you. I think you are upset that your argument was absolutely destroyed.

No, why would it be?

No. ANY offensive ability affects PWYF. Even if you don't use it, it will consume a token.

"If it works, it works" finishes games, but costs both emblems and BP. Juggling is provably superior to tunnels or camps, and just like lil people trying to feel big by having to go "gg ez" while running 4 meta perks and bigbrain addons, it's just evidence of insecurity and inexperience that leads people to use these pitiable strats.
People must be allowed to learn that camping isn't viable. If I see scratch marks around the basement, but I don't see a survivor, I am sticking around. I'm gonna hit the injured one, slug him and go after his farming friend.

When I play (rarely) killer, if someone disconnects, I simply reduce the pressure for that others survivors have a chance, they still enjoy, and the game has a minimum challenge for me.
Strangely by behaving like this, I rarely have chain disconnections (which would be legitimate)
The majority do not behave this way, because they consider that they lose the game if only one survivor succeeds to escape (lol). I'm sorry for not being a killer main, author.
You are very likely to de pip if a survivor instantly DC's.

Uhhhh, GhostFace is pretty strong, Huntress too
The only issue is the entitlement of the community
GhostFace isn't strong at red ranks. If you are really good at Huntress and get a good map, she can be very good.

Yup! I am aware!

That's just dumb, sorry. Your friends could have gotten 3 gens done, or more, in that time.

Not a false equivalency. You brought up you're situation and I'll bring up my own.
I've had plenty of games (not outliers) where killers will camp and tunnel someone with NO gens done at all. So no, I don't accept the idea that killers only camp because they feel pressured to. That may be the case for you or for some people, but it's not even close to always being the case. A lot of killers camp because they know it forces the survivors into a crappy position: Attempt a rescue and possibly end up getting slugged or hooked yourself OR attempt to rush gens which guarantees 2 kills for the killer because as soon as that first person is dead, they're probably going to catch and camp someone else.
If the game starts with four survivors, the Killer is at a sizable disadvantage. They tunnel to secure easy map pressure because gens go by so quickly. If I start a game, I assume that a gen will be done in roughly a minute and a half to a minute flat. I need to get at least one hook if not two in that time. Stop pressuring Killers to be ultra efficient and they might stop killing you so quickly. Regardless, this whole discussion is silly because both are part of the game. If you don't like it, oh well.
-
The disparity between SWF and Solo's is massive. The game wasn't designed with verbal communication in mind. That's on the devs, but, Killers right now, only Nurse and Spirit can deal with a good SWF. All the other Killers get turned into fodder.

@Scorp721 said:
When the killer camps no one gets to play the game. Even if I'm not the one being camped I'm forced to sit on a gen for what 80 seconds w/o a toolbox then go sit on another gen and another then just leave. Where is the fun in that for anyone. No one gets to make saves and no one gets chased you only get a 3rd of the gameplay when someone camps.
For me the fun in this game is in being chased and trying to evade the killer not sit in one spot holding m1 then go sit in another spot and hold m1. And it doesn't matter what kind of punishment bhvr can come up with for camping because most cases the people that do it are doing it to grief or because they had a bad game and they're gonna take it out on some random person who had nothing to do with it. They don't care about bps, emblems, or rank and if anything the current "punishment" just helps them stay in the low ranks where people are easier to catch.
The only time I would consider camping being ok is if the gates are powered but when you have perks/offerings/addons that encourage camping what can you do.
Oh? Not when Survivors are bum rushing hooks?

Its not good and thats why most survivors dc.
It is. It punishes Killers who aren't smart enough to not face camp. It punishes overly altruistic survivors.
-
@Wednesday666 said:
How is camping a hooked survivor fine? That survivor gets no points no one can save them at all. I'm sorry but i don't believe it's apart of the game at all. It's not fun and this is why most survivors dc. Most of the time survivors won't come and save someone if they are being camped.
Good. That's what they are supposed to do. People must be allowed to camp. Survivors can get 6 gens done in the time a Killer camps one Survivor. That's an EASY de pip for the Killer.
-
Camping and tunneling are absolutely fine. You cannot punish people for playing the game. Killers who DC should be punished the same as survivors who DC.

Exactly. MoM was too strong, but this wasnt a nerf. They removed it entirely from the game. It should have had a broken status affect added or something, instead of just completely removing it from the game. Adding a nerf that is dependent on something you know is already a "known issue" (protection hits not registering correctly) was a double slap. You dealt with it as quickly as possible and left it laying in it's own pool of sloppy, lazy programming and game administration, IMO.
Even if BHVR had no intentions of doing a bait and switch, the fact is they still did. I would not have bought him with his current perks.
It was a real ######### thing to do and I won't be buying any other DLC's until that is made right in some way. Give me half my money back or something.
Hey @peanits Can you take a look and tell us what percentage of matches MoM is used now? Bet it's less than 5 percent and that's WITH people trying for adept. Bet it's 0 percent in rank 1-3.🙄
If you bought him to have an OP perk, that's on you. However, I am fairly certain they used him as an easy cash grab.

It is NOT unfair since it's a reward for completing your main objective and a punishment to the killer for failing at completing their main objective.
You know what's funny? I still remember when people used to complain about the old DS saying that rewarded survivors for losing the chase, meaning that rewarded failure.
Apparently now they don't like rewards for being succesful either...
Except, the objective is so easy to do. That's the problem. If it were harder to get the gates powered, I don't think anyone would have a problem.

@Pulsar In what ways are killers better on console? I don't see how limitations force killers to play better than PC players. If anything, those limitations hinder console killers.
Some rank 1 console Killers have GOD TIER hearing. They might not be able to see as far or camera flick as Nurse, but they can hear from a damn mile. The Nurse players you do get at Rank 1 are just godly, plain and simple. Mad respect for them. Console killers, at red ranks, will ALWAYS get first hit. 360'ing is EXTREMELY hard to deal with as a Killer on console, so many will simple wait for you to make your move. That segways into my last example, they are VERY good at capitalizing on Survivor mistakes.

I don't think he's saying tunneling ISN'T a viable strategy, because I think he's implying it isn't healthy for the game I think.
Ah. I would agree then. It isn't healthy for the game, but, it is unfortunately required for some killers.

But it basically just rewards survivors for surviving the endgame, so I think it is perfect. It can be easily be countered by the almost balanced NOED andother exposing perks or powers.
I would lessen the time on the speed boost. Adrenaline is the whole reason I run NOED. Also, if gens were hard to complete, I'd say yeah, seems fair to me, lots of effort lots of reward. But they aren't. It takes a good SWF team 5 minutes to go through gens. They shouldn't get such a huge reward for doing something SO easy.

Only people who usually is unable to kill a single survivor before they pop the last gen and see all 4 getting healed by adrenaline xD
I have a HUGE problem with Adrenaline. I play Spirit a lot and I usually get 7 or 8 hooks before the last gen pops. I usually have everyone injured too. Adrenaline comes in and heals everyone to full, plus gives them a MASSIVE speed boost. Take away one of those affects, or lessen it, and I'd be happy.

I don't want to sound rude, but killers on console will probably never be on the same level as PC. The two platforms have completely different player bases.
And of course, the hardware advantage is worth noting as well.
Still, that doesn't mean killers on console can't be decent at the game.
Killers are definitely better on console, in some regards. The limitations they have forces them to be much better at some things.

Old Legion guide:
- use Bloodhound
- alternative: just follow the blood without Bloodhound, this is especially easy on maps without a lot of grass
Congratulations, no one can escape from you ever if you use your power off cooldown
Such counterplay, much wow
Oh wow, you ignored how I said they COULDN'T down people with FF unless they chain hit 3 people AND found the fourth.

It's amazing how many people want old Legion back
That power was pure cancer, it can never work, it doesn't matter what changes you make to it unless the changes are "Scrap the old power and give him the current power". It's awful design and if the only way you can have fun in this game is by playing a killer with a horribly unfun power with no counterplay then you should play something else
I disagree. I was a new player at the time of Legion's release. Other than his exploits, I never really had a problem with him. I would personally give him his old power back, minus the infinite swings and ability to down everyone with Frenzy. I'd make it so that if you chain hit 3 people together in Frenzy, you can down the fourth one. Also, remember that Deep Wounds is affected by terror radius now. No more moonwalk exploits. His current state is completely unacceptable.

...do not tunnel the person who just got off the hook?
Even if you do tunnel that person and really want him dead, you can always down them and wait 60 seconds before picking them up, so there's your counterplay.
Tunneling is a legit strat. You want killers to stop tunneling? Make games go by slower. Until then, no buffs to anything that stops tunneling.

because the thread IS NOT about power here, its about annoyance.
Keys are annoying to a killer who played well.
Mori's are annoying to survivor's who just got off the hook to suddenly be dead.
Insidious is literally fun for no one.
NOED grants power for basically doing nothing, while i don't feel its necessarily the most evil thing out there (certainly not Insidious level), i under stand why people feel that way
Lery's makes it extremely difficult to find gens, where as in every other map, there is an obvious indicator as to where a generator is located, whether it be the house lights or the gen lamps . For killers, all the walls and windows feel like such an obstruction of mobility (but by the kill rate, it obviously does not matter)
Swamp feels sucky for any killer that doesnt have either extreme mobility or extreme pressure. a group of good survivor's will make it hell for you to attempt to 4K.
Spirits map is a toss-up. On one hand, its a very tiny box of a map. on the other, there are many places to hide, and many places to loop. A killer can easily 3 gen strat if it gets to that point, as the width of the map is rather small. A survivor can easily choose a location to loop at, since there is almost always a location that contains a window pallet combination.
Actually NOED punishes Survivor's for not doing totems.

I don't know a single Skilled killer that uses NOED or Mori as part of their regular kit. It's usually just brought out for "Special occasions".
Because Mori's are BS and only to be used on 4 man SWF groups. And high skilled players are smart enough to know that, hey, if we cleanse all the totems, he doesn't get NOED.

No, it happens on Xbox quite frequently as well. You can tell, the game makes a sound when someone disconnects, if they plug pull, it doesn't. And pulling their plug is DC'ing.
