Yes.
60 FPS on Console.
Fixing freezing issues on Console.
Silent slug bug.
Free Iron Will bug.
These are just the issues I encountered in my ONE match today.

There is also plenty of red rank survivors going against brown and green rank killers too.
Who is everyone? That must be all killers. If killrates were only 20%, you would be all about the killrates because it would show they are too weak.
Literally everyone but you and YourNightmare.

Because Killers lunging at pallets shouldn't be favoured for a hit. That's just plain wrong. Even when i've played Killer and lunged at pallets and got the hit I feel bad for the survivor because it shouldn't count.
So then, maybe its your internet if you are getting hits through pallets.

Why does it make sense for a survivor to get hit from their pov when they're using the only tools of escaping a killer?
https://xboxclips.co/pixelzahoy/9a535e1f-76fa-4e6e-b024-c9acc167108c
Perfect example right here.
Why does it make sense for the Killer to not get a hit from their POV when they are using their only means of catching Survivors?

"Gen rushing" as an idea is so stupid. Like sorry for doing the only objective too quickly? What do killers expect, just for survivors to sit around twiddling their thumbs while they're chasing someone? "Oh sorry guys, we did the gens too efficiently, we should have let go of them and slowed down a bit".
The idea is not stupid. It does exist. It's fairly common for teams to be efficient on gens, at least in my very limited experiences.
That being said, it is NOT their fault.

You can test it with Freddy. You will see him all the time when you are asleep and have OoO.

You can give them the hits out in the open but on a pallet dropped and window vaulting scenario survivors should be favoured more than the killer lunging towards it too late.
Why? On the Killer's screen, it looked like it hit fair and square. He should simply have what seemed to him to be a good and legitimate hit stripped from him?
Like I said, there is NO way to fix this in a way that doesn't screw over people unjustly other than making a server for these people to connect to.

"you are given a option of what you can do and not the entire reason"
That's entirely my point.
You simply pointed out ways to essentially pressure the survivors and slow down gens. That's good information for lots of people, but not the issue.
The issue is that regardless of these factors if the survivors are good and want to win the game it will be over quickly (IE gen rush). These extra factors you mention to prevent "gen rush" won't stop it from happening if the survivors are good. Emphasis on the "good". Against average survivors you run into at rank 1 of course this all applies and you can prevent "gen rush". We're talking "good" survivors though typically when mentioning gen rush.
Also it really comes down to gen efficiency more than anything. The survivors can be absolute potatoes but if they know how to be efficient, hold m1 and not waste time, you will lose bar some off exceptions like Nurse etc etc. The average survivors you run into in solo queue are just really bad and not efficient.
As Pulsar mentioned, I don't blame survivors for gen rushing as that's their objective and what they should be doing. I blame the devs for balancing the game in a way that allows the gens the ability to be done that fast. Same can apply to killers with camping/tunneling against good survivors.
Precisely.
I've gone up against teams that were awful at chases but just did gens. I didn't feel pressured because I was winning chases so quickly and literally couldn't hook them fast enough before they got the gens done. Granted, I didn't tunnel anyone, nor did I camp anyone, but the point stands.
You can be bad at chases (like me) but if your team does gens, you can get out easily.
That isn't their fault, it's the games fault.

Ghostface has undetectable when in shroud, so it does
However if the survivor is oblivious, OoO will instead reveal the killers aura from literally anywehere until oblivious ends
Have you tested that with something like Demo's Portals?

There should be a system in place to prevent Pallet and Window hits though or at least better detection of them, i'm not bothered about getting hit out in the open with a pre-lunge that should of missed. It's when you get to a pallet before the killer and actually pre-drop in some situations and still get hit is my concern.
I've played a lot of games and never experienced as bad of hits as Dbd. But as you say with the high ping, if people from Russia are connecting to EU servers then it should be working where the survivor is favoured. This is why the new Hit detection was supposed to work like that because of the Killers abusing VPN's.
To me it just doesn't make sense to be getting hit half way down a 2 story window but your hit capsule gets stuck there, the server should recognize you've vaulted.
Then Killers in areas without a Dedicated Server might as well quit, because they will get ZERO hits.
There is no good way to fix this, besides building a server.

imma point this out, oblivious literally states from the wiki that the survivor "does not know the whereabouts of the killer"
Why do aura reading perks still work on the killer then if you are oblivious?
I didn't think they did?
I know OoO doesn't work if the Killer is in stealth like GhostFace is. It does light up when you look at them tho.

110 seconds is pretty much a lot even for maps with safest pallets ever.
I'm not even talking that you'll still have to plan your path in such a way that you'll reach exit gates just in time, because you'd have only 10 seconds to run in them until the jaws of EGC finally snap on your ass or that you'll be very likely screwed if you happen to be against a chase oriented killer like Deathslinger.
Of course numbers could be tweaked, but I suspect 6 new pallets would be more than enough to give survivor enough chances to last.
In any case the odds are against the survivor, it would just make that last part of the game more thrilling and more dependant on the skill of players in chasing, since nobody cares about any other skills people can acquire.
A decent Survivor can EASILY make a chase last 2+ minutes with the pallets on most maps. Especially when there is no repercussions for dropping them.
Realistically, they'd keep dropping pallets, Killer keeps breaking them until they cycle near a gate. Killer hits the Survivor and the Survivor runs out. That's it. There is no counter play.
I like what you were going for (making the EGC more interesting), but this ain't it chief.

This is pretty bad.
This is a guaranteed escape on maps that have decent pallets *cough The Game *cough

I do not blame people for slamming gens, I blame the game for making it so easy and at times necessary.

Man, can you stop to be dumb ?
Everytime you use an argument you take an exemple that is a specific situation. Don't you understand that stats don't care about specific situations ?
- For the exemple you have taken, how many times do you think this happens on 100 000 trials ? I mean how many times a SWF will kick the killer's ass and then fail and give a 3k/4k to the killer on 100 000 trials ?
Ye it will happen 1 to 5% of the times, it's negligible...
- Every RNG aspects that can affect positively or negatively each side is a draw, so it doesn't affect stats.
Exemple : take 2 guys with a gun, they are doing a dual. Now let's apply RNG - Guy n° 1 have 50% chance to have a loaded gun and 50% chance of having an empty gun. Same for Guy n° 2. Now do 100000 duals between them. How many times the Guy n° will kill the Guy n°2 ? 50% of the time... RNG doesn't affect anything here. You can add 10 more guys you will get the same results.
- And it's not because almost everyone agrees on things that it makes it true... Do you remember at school ? In your calssroom, let's say you were 30, and in those 30 students, how many guys were always right while all others made the same mistake on an exercise ? Ye jsut 2 guys were right. So when most ppl agree on something, it's often because they are dumb enough to not think outside the box.
I shall ignore the fact that you have insulted me for little to no reason and instead, I will address your argument, as I have no need for petty insults.
As for your addressment of SWF:
That is correct. My point was never the frequency of these events, merely that they happen and that the system doesn't differentiate between them. A 4K where people suicide on hook because the Killer dared to play the all-powerful Freddy is not the same as a 4K where a Nurse DECIMATES a team because she is Nurse.
As for your addressment of RNG:
RNG is random, that is correct and theoretically it should be an even 50/50 split. Except, it isn't. The odds of getting, let's say Coal Tower again, with all jungle gyms is extremely low, same with all T-L's. The odds of getting more jungle gyms than T-L's is high though, same with the reverse.
Let's use another example to better illustrate my point. Take a map like Hawkins, everyone knows it's skewed in the Killers favor. So, let's say it has an exceedingly high Kill Rate of 80%. Then, take a map like Mother's Dwelling, a map that is skewed towards Survivors. Let's say it has an exceedingly low Kill Rate of 20%. The averages of those percent values is 50, meaning, according to the stats, that would be a balanced Kill Rate despite NEITHER of the maps being balanced individually.
As for your last insult:
Does more than two people agreeing on something make it wrong? I don't know, let's ask common sense. The Civil Rights Act passed in the US Senate with a vote of 73-27 and most Americans supported it. Does that make it wrong? No, it doesn't.
When the people of a community as...opinionated as DBD is actually agree on something, it usually means that it is exceedingly obvious that something is up.
Could we be wrong? Sure. Does the evidence say we are? No. Does critical thinking say we are? No. The Kill Rate stats are unusable as legitimate evidence for any buffs or nerfs, you would be better off looking at Pick Rates, which cannot be so easily inflated or deflated.
But if you are interested in continuing this silly debate, tell me, what are your ideas for a Nurse buff, since you swear by the validity of these statistics :)

The individual tracking is mostly moot because the large picture really matters the most. A kill is a kill so the killer still wins if he beat them with NOED or slugged everyone with Infectious Freight. The RNG of the maps, to me is still an average. So let's think of Coal Tower in your example. 501 times it has L walls and 499 times it has the jungle gyms, killer winrate is 80% so it doesn't matter about the map RNG because he is still winning most of the time.
If people are throwing against Freddy because it is that unfun or they feel no hope, then that is even a bigger alarm. Games should be fun. Having a feeling of a chance to win is really necessary.
No, it really isn't moot.
Are you saying that a game where a SWF team kicks the Killer's butt the entire match but falls victim to NOED is the same as a team that gets dominated and finishes zero gens?
Additionally, pairing Red Ranked Killers against Purple or Green Ranked Survivors is going to inflate the Kill Rate.
People suiciding on hook will also inflate the Kill Rate. There are plenty of things in the game that are "unfun." You don't want to open that can of worms because while you might take Iri Head from Killers, Survivors have WAY more to lose in that line of thinking.
And shouldn't those RNG maps be tracked? If you play Killer and get Coal Tower with all T-L's and you get a 4K, was it because you were better or because the Survivors had nothing to work with? Same in reverse too.
The Kill Rate stats are completely useless. Almost everyone agrees on this. Why can't you see what we see?
-
@MadLordJack said:
Blight. He's the only killer that forces the survivors to actually outplay him, and he has an actual fair skill curve. (I'm assuming the killer in question isn't an exploiter.)
Nurse is just too strong to ever be fair. A good Nurse has absolutely no counterplay, by definition that cannot be fair. Spirit is both too strong and too easy. Billy is honestly too weak, he can only really play shiot loops with his power agasint good survivors. He's kind of the opposite of Blight in that regard. Hag is Hag. Freddy is Freddy. And Bubba just doesn't quite have enough mobility/has an unfair chase style that he can do.
Not on Console he isn't.

That's all a bunch of excuses to coverup the easy mode killers are enjoying. The stats are very revealing of how much easier killers can win.
Normally, I don't respond to your threads, as they are usually pretty illogical and misguided. However, you've managed to get me interested.
How do you explain the lack of tracking of important variables in those stats?
If Survivors suicide on first hook, the Killer gets less points. If every Survivor suicides because its a Freddy, doesn't that unjustly inflate his Kill Rate?
How do you explain the stats not taking into account people throwing the match?
How do you explain the stats not taking into account the differing ranks? A Red Rank games (for Killer) only requires the Killer to be in Red Ranks, and we all know how bad the Matchmaker is.
How do you differentiate between Killers running sweaty builds and those not?
How do you explain the stats not taking into account map RNG? Coal Tower with only T-L walls is WAY different than Coal Tower with only Jungle Gyms.
How do you explain the stats not taking hatch escapes into account? Those matches likely would've been 4K's without a Key, but with them they can be 2+ escapes. Surely, that isn't fair.
How do you explain the system not differentiating between a 4K at 5 gens and a 4K with NOED+BW?
So, @Sluzzy, how do you explain those things?
These are legitimate oversights in the system and vastly impact the stats. In my opinion, you cannot use these stats unless those variables are accounted for, since they could be massively skewing the stats.

Not when she is intentionally designed to be very difficult. I imagine the opinion on nurse having the lowest kill rate is that the design is being realized through all the games played with her.
Stat's aren't an end all be all, and tbh it doesn't look like bhvr is going off based on kills and kills alone to balance killers. Otherwise nurse would've been buffed.
They keep citing Kill Rates as why they won't touch Legion, who everyone knows is in a bad state.

It isn't about surviving, it is about becoming much more skillful through playing with solo queue teammates, or SWF teammates.
You will absolutely get better faster with Solo Q teammates.
You are forced to learn how to exploit anything and everything in order to make up for your teammates, shall we say, lack of intelligence.
If you put 4 competent Solo Q players into a SWF, they'll usually win. They know their jobs and know how to do them well.

Yet, when the devs were asked about the reason behind long survivor queues, they said, that whenever a new killer releases; killers have long queues. Which hasn´t been correct for over a year.
Bruh I remember when GhostFace came out queues on Xbox were an hour for Killer.
