Sounds a bit too strong, that 5% is a lot more than it might seem even if it’s a bit situational.
No need for a new perk that encourages tunneling.
PWYF just got a sudden surge of spasmic sensations followed by release of suspicious liquid.
This, to follow your suggestion, No. Too strong, would become "DS like" meta, completely unfun to verse and mindless to run.
Imagine PWYF bubba running at you at 135% speed
We need a wiki page for meaning of tunneling for people like you
Please explain to me how a perk that rewards going after a single person more than others not encouraging tunneling, and don't tell me "The perk changes obsessions" because survivors can easily drop pallets early.
This was the case with old Dying Light, and this would be a smaller but the same problem with this change.
as player who plays with nemesis every game, survivors predrop pallets 1 game out of 15. Even then, 5% speed buff is not enough to make killer throw the game, hit bt, eat ds and tunnel one person to death while 4 gens are done. This is not effective strategy Only thing you should be scared off is 135% pwyf bubba
Please no, despite never running obsession perks i often end up being the obsession :/
And 135% Tombstone Piece Myers.
Halloween theme intensifies
Nemesis changes the obsession when being stunned or blinded, how does this encourage tunneling?
It is not enough to win the game and it only works when chasing the obsession. The survivors can also tell when they are affected by the perk, I don't think it would be too strong, if anything it is still weak.
That's assuming the bubba gets 3 PWYF stacks and gets stunned by a survivor who gets a warning of the perk. Getting 3 PWYF stacks can also be very hard to get and time-consuming. In the end, it would probably not be worth it for the bubba.
Why would an at least a little decent survivor drop a pallet on a killers head if they know that will give them a speed buff? If this was implemented, in the games against good survivors after 1 person drops it on you and calls it out no one else will do, so you will only really get value from this perk if you tunnel one person.
That sounds way too strong.
Maybe gain a 5% haste for the 4 seconds you can see their aura, but more than that seems a bit too strong.
It encourages you to tunnel the same one person if the Obsession doesn't change mid-game.

Perhaps instead of whenever you chase your obsession, whenever your obsession changes you gain 5% speed for 10-20 seconds, similar to how you get the speed bonus from devour hope from the hook action. Thereby encouraging lots of exchanges between survivors to who the obsession is. As well as reducing the negative side effect from being forced to eat a stun/blind in order to use the perk at all.
Just make it so you gain the 5% while chasing anyone that's NOT the Obsession and make it activate along with the main effect with a timer, preferably as long as the Oblivious timer. Now you have a pretty decent target switching perk
Uhh i feel like some of you forgot what nemesis does since nemesis swaps the obsession when you get hit by a pallet how would it promote tunneling
This is too strong.
