@Kilmeran if you do get Hag, you don't even need ruin for her, despite her taking 1 or 2 gens time to set up, she can snowball a team so hard, it won't even get to endgame and you'll just win with a massive snowball. Its why Hag is stronger than Billy for me. But Hag is a pretty OP killer, and she doesn't even need perks or addons to 4k at rank 1. Same for Spirit, Hag and Billy.
Although, I'll admit I'm struggling without Ruin as Spirit since she can't snowball as ridiculously as Hag, but I'm getting there and im starting to 4k more consistently.

This guy is a genie.
-
Git gud.

Simple fix, don't run Ruin. It's unreliable and other perks are better. You've got a good anti genrush build anyway. Corrupt intervention makes your start game a lot easier and NOED to counter genrush. I'd recommend running something like Brutal Strength since Plague breaks pallets slow af. You don't need Ruin.

I would realy like an ultra rare killers offering that makes a survivor spawn near you. It could be negated with the survivors offering that makes them spawn far away from the killer.
@RoKrueger that's way too over the top, too much momentum and imagine that on a Nurse. ππππππππππππ

Did you mean 2016-17? July '17 was when the Huntress came out, which was when the game began to improve dramatically from the huge rollercoaster of a mess it had for its first year. Those were the end of the dark times, really.
@Science_Guy strange, that's back when Ochido was at his greatest. And I thought the game was at a bad time back then, considering how everyone was uncatchable.
-
Groovy.
-
@Carpemortum yeah I agree, if this change came through, I'd do my best to explain why it did though, and most people on this thread seem to agree, I can't see survivors and killers being unhappy. There'll be a few, but IMO, it's one of the best changes I've thought of.
-
Also @Carpemortum the downside will be similar to the new DS, so I doubt it'll be complained about because to counter DS, you don't tunnel, to counter MoM, you simply don't hit someone while bodyblocking. I doubt anyone would complain about it.
And MoM will still be monstrous in the endgame.
-
@Carpemortum you're not looking at it properly, right now, a skilful survivor doesn't get phased by the downside, it actually helps to make the killer throw their game to tunnel you and they adrenaline out of the gates in the endgame. It's abusable and ez to use.
With my rework, it'll have no counterplay, but it'll be easily avoided, exactly like the new DS, I was inspired by the DS rework, and thought of it. No good killer should #########, because the risk of it, should be obvious, and they can slug the survivor.
Knockout, would work a treat with this. If you think the downside right now is too much, then you don't fully understand how advantageous it can be for top tier survivors.
I'm saying that, because I was a top tier survivor a while ago (now I'm more upper-mid tier since I main killer and 30% survivor.)
Bodyblocking makes it counterable, but the 2 stacks and lack of aura, makes it just as powerful, but with counterplay.
Please try to see it from my way.
-
@artist that's the beauty of it, if the survivors want to, they'll sacrifice gen pressure to get a lengthier chase. It takes a carefully thought out plan, and it becomes tactical perk to be used carefully.
-
@Tzeentchling9 said:
It should still be 3 hits or this and an insta heal could deny any hook.
@Tzeentchling9 but the killer can drop the survivor, and go down them.
-
@Peanits I made it clearer for people who didn't understand it.

If it's under those circumstances and only useable once, I think 2 isn't too bad. And in this scenario it has counters too.
@ClogWench it's usable as much times as you can get, because it is easy to counter, and if they waste time bodyblocking, that's 1 survivor off of a gen for the killer which means in a realistic scenario with 1 bodyblocking, one around waititng for the unhook and one in your shoulder, and the last on a gen, you've got only one survivor pressuring gens which makes a major advantage for the killer, should they be smart enough to seize it.
-
Well Hag, Spirit and Nurse are better, so I'll choose Wraith.
176% base speed while cloaked (8.096 m/s).
Remove windstorm addons.
Give him a speed burst of 2 seconds.
Make him visible from only 24m.

Is it an exploit? O damn I didnt mean that then.
-
@EntitΓ got one, Thick mist- Ultra rare killer offering, makes the mist supress sounds supresses all the killer sounds by 8m (Heartbeat, breathing, lunge ect.) Killers like Myers would benefit so much.
-
Yeah I've known about that for ages, hard to perform in a chase without getting hit though. They should just add a proper dropdown.
-
OMG THAT'S AWESOME. How do I do this?
Edit: didn't know its an exploit. Don't tell me, I wont bother.
-
Yeah, this has always been a really killer sided forum.

Again, it's not that I feel pallets are in a bad place, just that I was trying to give everybody a fair chance to choose what they may feel needs changing or fixing. So just giving those thee option to choosee pallets should they feel like pallets are an issue
@AlphaJackson OK, I see.

Top Tiers: Nurse, Spirit, Hillbilly, Plague, Huntress, Michael.
Mid Tiers: Hag, Pig, Trapper, Doctor.
Low Tiers: Clown, Leatherface, Wraith, Freddy, Legion.
There is nothing else to say.
@Bug_Reporter She was top tier in her PTB, and I can't see how you think Plague, Huntress and Myers are better than Hag.
It actually goes like this:
Top tier,
Nurse, Spirit, Billy and Hag.
Upper mid tier: Plague, Huntress, Myers and Wraith.
I don't know how you think Hag is weaker, considering her wins count her skill and if you think she's mid tier, you probably suck as her.
-
@SpaceCoconut BTW, about my comment about your sounds being good but distorted, I got mine fixed to be like yours, and now i can hear directional sounds like you do, and I've gotten scarily decent as Spirit.
-
I'm normally nice as Hag since I tend to get a bad start, (no ruin) but a massive snowball midgame and complete and utter domination. Thanatophobia helps so much its unreal.
-
@AlphaJackson why on earth would you put pallets. There's nothing wrong with them, it's just map design.
-
@EntitΓ not yet, thinking of one though.
-
@EntitΓ again, i love how adamant you are to keep this thread going, it's amazing so read.
-
Ultra rare offering- Thick mist.
The mist is so thick, your terror radius and sounds are supressed by 8m. The thick mist also decreases the sound of your breathing.
@Poweas said in his head:
Hi please gimme a vote up, I think it's a good idea for Legion and Myers, to mask their breathing.
-
πππ What a potato.
-
Survivors can, some killers cannot too much. They have access.
-
I like to be competitive though. I have fun sometimes, but I'm mainly competitive.
-
I refuse to use Ruin, it's not necessary.
-
875.
I was basing that off of my Hag and Spirit.
Not using Ruin or instadowns helped.
-
It's unlucky rng.
-
K.
-
Nice b8 m8 i r8 8/8
-
@Kurisataru I'm not, I main Hag and find her way more effective than Billy, she's literally a monster if played correctly.
You've probably faced me if you've faced a lot of decent Hags since I've been dominating in purple ranks (depipped to find lobbies)
-
Allow him, he's just salty. If you let him get to you, you'll stoop to his level.
-
My only advice is, loop their arse to annoy them. I just do that.

that's about as much compensation as the bloodpoints you get when a killer Insta dc's and you brought a cake. ms just shouldn't be touched
Well extra gen speed makes it boring @artist this is the best way to make healing a more desirable thing, while not leaving non-Self care players in the dust.
-
@Carpemortum said:
I'd say being broken all game is a reason to cleanse. But ya know.
@Carpemortum most good survivors can loop just as well when injured. It's a minor inconvenience.
-
@artist said:
don't like the movement speed debuff, ms should stop being touched in this game, clown was more than enough. true that it would make you want to heal, but you can't exactly do that mid-chase, and no survivor enjoys moving even slower while being chased
@artist added compensation for it, to make looping work as effectively.
-
@Delfador said:
The other debuffs seem okay but losing 5% ms is too much. It also doesn't have anything to do with healing yourself since most probably you will be in a chase when you get injured.
Add bloodlust to the equation and you are 25% faster than that survivor. Keep in mind that cloaked wraith's movement speed without addons is 126%.
I don't see that change happening
@Delfador added a bit to make it fair.
-
@Peanits would these ideas work? The injured one has been on my mind ever since genrush became the new meta.
-
Edited to make more sense, and tackle some issues.

@TAG said:
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I only ask because it wasn't explicitly stated in the post. What would trigger the "Uneasiness" status effect? I assume it's being Injured/Broken/Sick (I would hope that this does not apply to No Mither if so)?
@TAG I just realised, I'm going to give it a new name. Originally, that idea was for injured, but it would be far too OP so I made it for sickness. I'll rename it to 'inefficient'.

@powerbats I'm coming right back :P

@RWoodrow Yes. Forgot to say that.
-
Ignore them just salty. I had a Hag game where 3 people DC on death hook and Jane got hatch and we talked, she was pretty salty, and when I asked why they DC'd, she said '3 DC, huh?' Then 'That says something about your playstyle'. When nothing is wrong with it, I just trapped 1/2 of the map because they already had a gen done in the first 10 seconds.
Survivors can get super salty over little things, so don't take it personally, just enjoy the salt.

I know what's considered toxic in this game is a huge grey area, but in my opinion, if you purposely go out of your way to ruin another player's experience, you should be banned. It makes for a bad fan base and scares players away from the game.
@Chordyceps it's not my fault I used to run Object of Obsession and the old DS a year ago to improve, being toxic was the only way I get them to chase.
