Still waiting for that reduced ds stun time after the enduring nerf.
-
This could just be a role system. You can choose what role you'd like to be. This wouldn't affect how you play but just to inform your teammates what kind of playstyle you have. Could also be optional if people like to do whatever each game.
-
Wouldn't this just be a buff? Why would you let survivors unhook themselves? The survivors don't also need extra benefits when they're being carried.
Adrenaline is already a very powerful win more perk, we don't need to buff it.

You could try not being found first.
Boom something you could do.
Sorry if that was too much.
I should clarify. I am not talking about getting caught. I am talking about not getting caught, doing gens and escaping.

There have been leaks of possible new gestures coming.

No thanks. I'd rather see a variation of survivors in my games rather than seeing 4 Megs/Claudettes etc every game.

They fixed the deliverance bug like a week after it was discovered though.
How come it happened to me just 2 months ago though?
EDIT: accidentally said last month

Where would you buy the dlc at the out of game store, if you don't mind me asking? Had a look at their website but couldn't see anything. Does it work for all systems (as I'm on PS4)? Sorry I really have no idea 😅
If you buy the characters with auric cells and not the chapter with real money, you won't receive the exclusive cosmetics that come with the chapter.

Slightly misleading actually, in both cases, people were already becoming aware that things were out of whack. Freddy was very clearly anti fun in almost every way, and suffered from poor design, and mettle of man was unreasonably strong. Both were obvious cases for changes, so just use your judgement when purchasing. If something seems too good to be true? well, give it a bit, and see what changes seem to trend.
But then again, Decisive Strike remained the way it was for 2 years so it isn't ridiculous to think that stuff wouldn't get changed as fast as Freddy and MoM did.
-
It would certainly make Technician playable. Perks that are luck based just aren't worth running imo. I used to run Deliverance but they never fixed the issue of the unhook not being 100% so I opted out.
This wouldn't ruin the game as there are far more better options for perks. You're not intentionally going to miss skillchecks to get use out of Technician so I don't see a problem with this. The only killers that would really suffer are Freddy and possibly an impossible skillchecks Doctor. It would also negate the information from overcharge.
If this is deemed too op, it Technician could just reduce the distance the killer can hear the explosion from, maybe based on TR?
-
Only character is dislike discordance 1 is on huntress as the explosion makes it difficult to aim at survivors on or near the generator. With any other character discordance 1 is the best.
-
If there is a scoops ahoy outfit, it probably won't come with the dlc and will instead be in the store for auric cells.

and yet we only had human killers so far. that was also the obvious meaning of my post.
The obvious meaning of your post was what? Even if we've only had human killers so far, BHVR to my knowledge have never restricted themselves to human killers only.

Not leaks, these are from the official steam page. If you want to see better versions just check there.

27th or the 3rd of next month.
-
From what I've heard, the demogorgon can jump between dimensions so it could very well be in the entity's realm by it's own desire. This would also mean it probably wouldn't abide by the entity's rules of hooking survivors but we all know that won't be a thing.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

also taking a demon/monster instead of a human as killer.
It has never been said the killer has to be a human. Only humanoid.

Then let's get rid of RBT's because she doesn't deserve a kill if she gets lucky and RNG is on her side :)
It isn't difficult to search 4 jigsaw boxes in 2,5 minutes. Killing isn't what the RBTs were designed to do either and the only reason they have to kill at some point is to make sure the survivors search the boxes instead of doing generators.
Unless the pig constantly follows you or blocks your last jigsaw box, you're not gonna die to an RBT.

You can't compare a key to a sacrifice, every single game has luck involved with RNG, it is extremely rare to get a key so the survivor deserves to open the hatch if they were lucky enough to find one.
They don't deserve anything for getting lucky.
-
If they can get the new perk gaining system in place for the chapter it'll help a lot in sustaining those player numbers.
-
They specifically don't want people to max out a dlc character on day 1 so there is no way they would want to increase the cap.
-
@Peanits said:
No. Some perks will become very rare by the time they're tier 3, others will remain as rare.
@Peanits Do the rarities actually affect how often they appear in the bloodweb? If there are 3 possible perks to appear and 2 are uncommon and 1 is rare is it more likely to get the 2 uncommon perks?
-
I think it was mainly because it is easier to use existing skeletons and animations (slightly altered of course) rather than creating new skeletons for each killer. The demogorgon seems to have a new skeleton though as it's legs seem to have 2 joints.
I do wonder if the demogorgon is mainly going to be walking on all 4s or if it'll walk on 2 legs.
-
Ghostface was 5€ and a regular chapter is 7€ so it would only make for it to cost 9€.
Probably gonna be over 10 though.
-
Remove moris and keys.

that makes no sense because we had ash before ghostface and he was stand-alone. so we had a balance again with the ghostface release.
I wouldn't count Ash as chapter since he was "unexpected" (besides the leaks ofc).
There was also a lack of map with the Ghostface chapter. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I wouldn't count either of them as chapters but Ghostface released on schedule, 3 months after the last chapter.
-
Besides what @BingBongBoi pointed out, they'd be a lot shorter than the average survivor making it easier to hide from the killer and making the chapter essentially p2w.

does that mean we get 6 new survivor perks in total?
Most likely. I think we have the answer as to why Ghostface chapter didn't have a survivor.
-
Gamescom would be the perfect time to announce stuff.
-
If you're close to a location bubble, that bubble won't appear. This happens with everything. If you complete a gen for example, you don't see the bubble that you would see from a far.
-
The struggle is there to keep the killer from taking the survivor hostage. If you couldn't struggle, the killer could keep you on their shoulder forever as the bleedout timer doesn't go down while being carried.
-
There are perks that counter gen tapping. Overcharge and pop goes the weasel are the perfect tools to stop gen tapping.
-
If you want to avoid franklins and keep your item, jump in a locker and make the killer take you out.

I don't have to show nor prove anything to you as you can do it yourself in the game. I have no obligation to waste my own time to measure something in the game. Facts are the bleed out is faster when you crawl.
You're the one trying to convince us. I have no way of testing this myself as I can not start games myself. I've never heard anyone say you bleed out faster while crawling.

The picture honestly to me looks like a placeholder icon for Spirit's power. Where did this image surface from?
-
Good on you. You play how you like.
-
Congrats I guess :D
-
A rushed action (to me) is fast vaulting a window or rushing out of a locker. Don't think it triggers on anything else.
-
That's part of the power. You can use traps in other ways but to teleport. You can place them around corners and when you're chasing a survivor and they trigger the trap they run into a wall.

I think it's a fair tradeoff, your aura can't be seen but you can't see other players auras.
-
It really screws the game for both sides if the killer camps as well. It is literally impossible to get benevolence if the killer is camping the survivor. You'll always escape with a bronze emblem or possibly no emblem at all. You'll often also suffer in the chaser emblem as you won't get chased by the killer if they're camping. The emblem system only works if both sides play ideally (which just always isn't the case).
-
I'm fine with a killer/survivor of any ethnicity as long as they're fun to play.
-
Whispers is fine. It doesn't pinpoint the location of the survivor. Only tells they're withing 32m.
Only time I see whispers as "unfair" is when the killer closes hatch but the killer did manage to kill 3 survivors so it's not like he doesn't deserve the win.
-
Unfortunately, it only affect self unhook chance and chance to escape from a bear trap.

@Peanits said:
There will be a map, that much is confirmed. Maps are released every other chapter now with a map rework every other mid-chapter. Since chapter 12 did not have a map, you can be sure that chapter 13 will.
Anything else has not been announced yet.
Boi, if there ain't a new killer...
-
Spine Chill is also good as you can know if the killer is coming your way and move away from a generator you're working on. Works especially well when it's a killer that has a shorter TR than 32m.
-
2 changes I would like to see for ds.
- It only activates if the killer picks you up, grabs won't activate it. (This will stop survivors from using ds as 60 seconds of invincibility and actually use it as an anti tunneling tool.)
- DS no longer works on self-unhook. (Most of the time this becomes a problem when used in combination with Deliverance. You unhook in front of the killer and they have no choice but to either leave you on the ground and in most cases you will probably get picked up, or they have to eat the ds and let you go for free. This will also make it so a survivor doesn't get a free escape because they just got lucky, e.g a gate is open nearby and the survivor unhooks themselves and the killer can only hope they miss the skillcheck)
-
I'm not one to assume but you're complaining about that lunge at the end?
What about that pallet stun you got when the Spirit was no where near the pallet? :P

Be careful changing your name on ps4. A lot of games stop working properly when you change your name and you can lose all your progress because the system wasn't designed with name changes in mind. A lot of games have additional parameters that call for the first name you had behind the scenes.
iirc this happens with some old cod games.
