Meg and Clown. I despise Meg heads and Clown is a boring killer to play as and against.
-
Hag is better. Put traps in every possible direction away from the basement, and nobody is getting out safely. Iron grasp, agitation, save the best for last, hex ruin plus a good map offering and the challenge is easy.
-
Enduring spirit fury and bamboozle brutal strength are pretty common combos for Michael. Monitor and abuse can be really good but it isn't mandatory.
-
The 4 gens with dark sense seems impossible to me. I've done everything else but can't seem to finish this one. I've been running bond and prove thyself but people have been splitting up too much and finishing gens separately.
-
They said theyre working on making the animation smoother, but that might just be for the "flick." The animation is way too jerky, and he doesn't feel satisfying to learn, so I've pretty much dropped him entirely. I like the perk Nemesis and the Map is cool, but overall this chapter was pretty disappointing.
Sucks about your frame drops. I play on Xbox and my fps is -usually- solid, but if I play multiple games in succession the entire game starts to stutter.
-
I might but I'll definitely wait and see. This one wasn't too satisfying but the next could be better.

What have you been running as your 4th perk?
I've had some success with pop, play with your food, and bbq. Play with your food really helps catching the initial survivor, Pop helps with slow down. However, I really feel their downsides. I'm torn between play with your food and pop. I feel like I can't overcome the gen speed without pop. But I'm having a hard time in the early game with what feels like a mountain of pallets. Maybe I'm missing something entirely.
I just run Ruin. This build is fun but it's too specialized around the obsession. Without a good slowdown perk, most killers will struggle to make it work.

That doesn't mean he's being nerfed, though. Also could you link me to where they said that? I must have missed it.
I don't think they've directly said that, but it is one of their objectives: bringing older style killers and their addons in line with their modern addons. Billy and bubba have no irididescents, and not enough very rare if I remember right. An add-on rework for them both will happen -eventually-, though I doubt it's a priority for them right now.

I remember 3 years ago. The game was new and so much fun. There were so many pallets, and infinites in the game, and killers still managed to own survivors. Now sadly, enough killers who are garbage at the game, took to reddit and cried. They cried, and cried, and cried until the devs gave them just what they wanted. They took away more than half of the pallets and removed a bunch of windows, and even made healing take longer.
Now I play killer and survivor, but killer a LOT more. You can even check the leaderboards. I'm 2nd in the world in survivors killed and like top 50 in survivors sacrificed. I really miss the challenge. I mean, I understand them taking away infinites and some pallets. But they took away WAY too many pallets. I get that they're trying to make the game easier for new killers but you guys chased away a lot of OG players, and that kinda sucks. Even myself, I play this game less and less.
A simple fix would be to add back more pallets in tiles where they should be. It's really annoying when there aren't pallets where there normally should be. Also add more tiles. Many maps are extremely empty with nothing to use.
I love DBD and I want it to succeed. I really do.
Killer is easy because most survivors are trash. That's why killers were able to kill people when they were infinites. Because most people were too ignorant to use them properly. Survivor is even easier to master than killer is, and most often when a killer wins, it's because the survivors were bad.
-
I really adore it too. I've been running it with Furtive chase and make your choice. I hook my obssession, the unhooker becomes the obsession, they become oblivious and I can see them, and they become exposed. Honestly the cheesiest build I've ever ran.
-
Insidious Bubba
-
As far as I know, that's not against the rules. If the devs started banning people for farming there would be an uproar. Killers can kill or spare whomever they want at their own discretion. After all, they are supposed to be the power role.
-
That would be much better than the 1 blink iridescent we got.

imagine replying to a post with no facts, i didn't call hex perks OP i called ruin "OP" which in the english language means some people might think its OP or call it OP, it just depends on the person.
Ruin can be gone before the killer can physically see it, and good survivors can hit hex skill checks making it essentially useless. Tell me again how it's OP. Decisive strike, dead hard and borrowed time are fair and balanced btw. Not OP in the slightest right? DS is easily just as strong as ruin if not stronger since the killer has no way to deactivate it.
-
Imagine calling hex perks OP.

It is best to be the better player and refrain from stooping to such behavior. But, I don't blame you for being toxic back. The devs won't do anything unless you are consistently toxic towards them over a number of games. Don't take this guy seriously.
-
Agreed. Addons should give the killer an edge, not be necessary just to be viable/enjoyable to play. Neither should they be ridiculously strong. Only killers that don't need addons are Billy, Freddy, and spirit. Everybody else needs addons to patch up the issues with their kits.
-
Surveillance and Pop goes the wheesel is an amazing combo. Imo you shouldn't run more than 2 detection/regression perks. These two plus complimentary perks are my go to (spirit for example I'll run stridor and sloppy to keep people injured and track them easier).
-
The window should stay, but there should be a door close by it. That way it can still create some distance but the killer actually has a chance to get you.
-
Not really. If a killer gets flashlight stunned it's their own fault.
-
Too much. Luckily it was with a gift card.
-
I used to prefer killer 100%, but now I enjoy both equally. Only thing keeping me from playing surv is the queue time.
-
Nah i.dont see a point in busting an entire status effect for just one perk. Besides, insidious takes time to activate. If you and your team don't realize they're camping when their aura is gone after 2 seconds, then you only have yourselves to blame.
-
Agreed. That would make progressing through the rift less time consuming and more feasible for casual players.
-
Bruh if anything she needs to be buffed. Her dash for example is God awful. Just because you can't manage your time effectivley doesn't make her too strong.
-
Hag is not weak. Her power can end chases just as fast old nurse and she can juggle like a maniac.
I've said it before but the real issue is all the ridiculously survivor sided maps. Killers like you mentioned are pretty strong on maps like coal tower and father Campbell's chapel. But you put them on a map like Thompson's house or haddonfield and they WILL struggle.

Gj contradicting yourself. If you think dcing is a better idea than running a map offering go for it pal.
Yeah let me run a 5k bloodpoint offering every game just so I don't have to play on garbage maps. Get real.

@PistolTimb wanna tell me why killers can't dc?
I can't message too often because my account is jailed. Reread what I wrote. I said I WANT to start disconnecting when I get bad killer maps. Survivors and killers can DC all they want with no penalties. I'm gonna start doing it too, since I still get people rage quitting just because I want to play a killer they don't like.
-
The one on the third floor of Hawkins is disgustingly weak. It has a window connected to it, but any killer with half a brain will get a hit on it. Only way to use it is to stun the killer away from the entrance to the room, but nobody is stupid enough to get stunned there unless you've got balls of steel.
-
Brb I'm gonna run 4 botany knowledges for 132% faster heals.
-
Uhh, yeah, they can. Dc penalties aren't even in place yet. And console never even got the live test. People can DC when they want with zero consequences.
-
Mangled would be fine if it were a lower rarity. I'd love to see an exhaustion block, but I'm guessing the devs think that'll be too strong. Another idea would be to have one that increases the movment speed penalty, like Clown's flask of bleach.
I really wish they would have buffed his crappy addons when they nerfed his slowdown.
-
Reds and purples mainly. I'll see any colors if it's a swf, though.

If they are abusing bad map design flaw why don't you go for someone else? There are other 3 people on the map.
I don't, but new players who don't know any better do. Besides, many God setups are easily accessed. The Grim Pantry window is a prime example. If it spawns facing toward the middle of the map, EVERY survivor can make it there after getting their On-hit Sprint Burst.
"Just chase somebody else"
When many maps can spawn back to back jungle gyms. Yeah great idea. Bet that'll work out.
-
Someday. Really I'd like to see them skip chapter 15 or 16 in favor of fixing all the busted maps. God setups should not exist in a game where gens can be done in under 5 minutes. If you chase someone through them you're essentially throwing the game.
-
Swfs aren't the issue. It's the busted ass backwards maps. I'm debating DCing everytime I get maps like Ormond and Thompson's House. Survivors can ragequit when they get a killer they don't like, why shouldn't killers do the same for maps?
-
Baby Ghostface parroting a meta build and not understanding how it works. Why am I not surprised.
-
People roleplay in this game? Uhh, cool. I'm gonna back away slowly.
-
People don't get banned unless there is 0 doubt that they're cheating or abusing exploits. If you have no proof, your claims will be ignored. And even with proof, it's likely nothing will be done unless they get reported with evidence again. Bhvr is really careful with how they handle bans.
-
Xbox killer queues are almost instantaneous at red ranks. Red rank survivor can take between 1 and 5 minutes.

thats true what you say, but imagine this system without any changes in a year. Probably 80% or more of the playerbase would be red rank then. Whats the point of that?
Better to have everybody pooled together than to keep them arbitrarily separated. Rank is essentially meaningless, except at ranks 20-12.
Really what they should do is cut down on total ranks, maybe just 1-10. New players should be paired with ONLY new players for 5 to 10 matches, and if they can't find other/enough players, then they play against bots. Then once they're done with those practice matches, they get placed at Rank 10 and enter the general pool of Players. Matchmaking should put people together within 2-4 ranks of each other, and the system eventually expands its search if there's not enough people playing.
-
I'm guessing so, yeah. It would be incredibly strange if they would make such a big deal out of this Woman and her "pigs," just to reveal it was pointless nonsense. We haven't had a female killer in a long time, too. Not since Plague, so them being female makes sense.
-
I prefer the changes as well. I find games much faster at rank 1 than I do at rank 11.
-
It's a punishment for breaking rules. For example, I was jailed for calling certain maps a word that "makes light of illnesses." People who are jailed cannot post discussions, and have a harsh commenting limit.
-
I love running off meta killer perks, but as soon as I do the survivors i go against all run dead hard borrowed time decisive strike adrenaline
-
I escape from Doctor the easiest. Clown and Freddy kick my butt six ways from Sunday.
-
That would never happen, nor should it
-
She's a very unfun killer to play now, and is heavily add-on dependent. The cooldown was super unnecessary. What she really needed was a longer fatigue period. This way good nurses aren't affected, and bad nurses get punished more harshly.

I just want more Ace cosmetics
