Taking Karu's number of 78 for example, we're all talking about Celsius
- In Fahrenheit, it would be ~172
- Kelvin, it would be ~351
Otherwise, the numbers would be way bigger....
For example, if we're talking about 78 in Fahrenheit & Kelvin...
- 78 Kelvin would result in NEGATIVE -195 degrees Celsius - lmao
- 78 Fahrenheit would be 25 degrees Celsius. 25* Celsis is by no means a high temperature :) .... At least for PCs

If a game is literally making you feel that emotional where it is affecting your everyday life like that then you should maybe stop playing.

I’ve had bad matches too. I also understand my skill level and where I could have done better. Which is something that we have no info on just based on a rant post. The fact that someone “bullies” which seems to be a word just thrown around on here (all when there is actual people being bullied in RL and ending their lives because of it ) doesn’t take away from the fact that if you are new to a killer you are most of the time going to be unmatched. I play on 4K 60fps right now due to the cap on PC. 4K looks really vibrant and I enjoy it, but I’m willing to sacrifice the quality if I have to in order to get smoother frames.

I'm guessing the rest of your Rig is top-notch as well, ram, motherboard, etc, etc.
Having a stable internet connection is also quite important in DBD.

He's fun to play as. Haven't been on the other side yet.
He feels a bit clunky to use, reminds me of Pyramid Head.
I also reckon there should be another way to get the infection around since it can be quite difficult spreading it via your tentacle.
Also getting 3 hits to infect -> Injure -> Down a survivor feels... a bit too much.

What I recommend to everyone on PC is tweaking the Files to uncap their fps & such
If my fps is uncapped, will I be able to enjoy the game in ultra settings at the new fps cap?
Regarding your question... It's a hit or miss...
Some RIGs suffer from lag freeze while others don't even though they share the same parts & the internet is pretty much identical.
However, I will be able to tell you that with your setup you will not be needed to lower the graphics to have smooth FPS but I'd still recommend editing some files here and there since you're on PC and you should take advantage of such luxury some people on other platforms don't have. Lag Freeze is a DBD only problem due to it's trash optimization.
Also, 4k Monitor for DBD? Jesus Christ dude
As to who I would recommend... Ardettha on YT has really high quality settings and very good FPS, he also has some guides and other programs to help him with this. I would recommend checking him out as he has some tutorials & guides

Sucked into a locker instead of vaulting the pallet to get to the hatch which resulted in the killer getting there first and closing it.
This memory has buried itself deep in my brain & I hate it.
The fact that it happened at rank 1 does not help either.... Only makes it worse.

- Sounds like a "You" Problem. Nothing BHVR cares about. You are nothing but the perfect customer some games & companies look for. You said yourself it's unhealthy. Perhaps it's time to improve.
If they want to give us the charm even though we didn't buy the expansion pack, then so be it. It's their choice. You can't force their hand no matter what you say.
If what you said in your 2nd argument is true, then oh boi, I'm not sure if I should tell you about the tens of charms you missed that were exclusive to giveaways done by the Fog Whisperers.

Here's something you all don't seem to wrap your head around:
- The expansion packs are not for us veterans or long-time players of the game who have a majority of the DLCs. They are for the newer player that came with RE and are looking for a great deal on a bunch of characters.
You want the charm, then fork over the money boi, BHVR will give less than two ######### of what u think or what u want. This is nothing but business
Don't fret over a charm of all things that's colored different & has the survivor & killer icons. They're nothing special and at the end of the day, they'll only join your 6 other pages of charms and be forgotten once a new cooler charm comes out in like a month or so.

Out of the 11 characters you get from each expansion pack, people are focused on the charm?

Does no1 realize the charm is nothing but a cherry on top kind of reward/thing and does not represent the whole bloody pack?
It's the same mentality from the Orange Box from the Steam Store. You get a hat in TF2 "Proof of Purchase", people were raging cause you would have to spend 20-30$ to get a hat whereas what you're actually buying is like 10+ games or something like that...
And don't give the whole "I want the charm, just the charm" Oh please... In 1 month from now there's gonna be a new charm you want that you'll equip on your characters and completely forget the ones from the Expansion Packs... I already have trouble choosing the best charms for my characters...

Yes, you can get them for free.
However, a new player will more likely spend the shards in the Shrine of Secrets or unlock cosmetics rather than buying one character which is worth 9k shards, which might be a little too much for them.
The expansion packs are a good deal, only if the DLCs are not on sale.

What matters are the new players not having to deal with the BS we had to deal with. We are the parents, the new players are the children. We should strive towards making it better for them. This only results in a win-win scenario. To give one example is shorter queue times since that's one of the primary problems this game has.

To enjoy the game? Yes, here is where I will strongly disagree.
There's a pure fact that you can't enjoy the game if u don't buy/have DLCs. Do you want build variety? Then get the wallet out big boi and start spending cash. Then look towards getting those characters to LVL 40 for their teachables, then unlock the perks in your other characters by spending more BPs in the blood web.
New players that buy these expansion packs will be overwhelmed by the number of characters they have at their disposal, all level 1 I might add.
The blood web grind is atrocious & it gets worse the more you unlock. Being a long-time player in this game with just 5-6 pages of perks that you need to unlock for each killer is pure pain. Not to mention I don't own all the DLCs & Perks yet.
I've bought Myers a couple of days ago and only after 2.3 Million BPs later I finally managed to unlock the first level of BBQ and now still struggling to get get the other 2 levels after putting, even more, BPs into him. At least I know what I'm doing, compared to these new players that are exposed for the first time to the grind, DBD has to offer. Not to mention, I also have BBQ.
Imagine you have a conversation with a new player coming for the RE chapter, he bought the RE chapter & the game. Then you tell him he needs 1.63+ Million blood points in order to 0-50 a character. How do you think he is going to react when he realizes that he gets ~15k average per match? AND then you tell him about teachables & the grind to get those perks on each killer he likes & wants to play or survivor. Then you tell him at some point he needs a particular X perk from X killer in order to make his build work. Fun I guess is subjective, but then again, some perks are mandatory and the builds need to have synergy thus requiring DLCs and you can't tell me you have fun by losing gens.
- Corrupt from Plague
- Clown for Pop
- Hag for Ruin
- Blight for Undying
- Get Billy to 40 to get Tinkerer
- Leatherface for BBQ
Congrats, now the new player has access to this build
- BBQ
- Ruin / Pop
- Corrupt
- Undying / Tinkerer
One of the ways you can fun is by feeling strong & not lose 3 gens when the match starts.

Besides the discussion but I'll add these on top of the grind.
Now... Factor in these things:
- Bugged Map. Imagine the disappointment of not playing the map you came for.
- Performance & plethora of bugs. Oh, the new player is on console, tough luck bud. PC also suffers from this but console is the most troubled one. They're finally getting a taste of BHVR.
- Bugged Cosmetics
- Overpriced Cosmetics
These are the things a RE new player will be exposed once he buys the game and the DLC, and then factor these things again:
- Toxicity
- SWF
- Solo Que
- Teabagging at Exit Gates might be toxic for some, a new player will definitely think of these as toxic.
- Matchmaking
After all of these & the grind, you're telling me... A new RE player will stay in the game? And these are only a few examples.
BHVR needs to address the grind for new players. There is no discussion about it.

They’re not trying to rip anybody off. It’s probably part of the licensing agreement. Capcom probably don’t want instances of Chris running around with Leon’s head.
But they have Lady Dimitrescu as a mod in Resident Evil 2 remake already. You'd have Dimitrescu being choked by MR X, which if u ask me, it's one hell of a kink and turns me o-.... it's one hell of an image.
Not to mention you can play As Tofu in the remastered RE games...
Leon running around with Chris's body doesn't sound that bad...tbh... considering what the fandom has created... so far

But then again, you have the counterbalance that... you know... it's a purple addon?
But then again, again, you know. The fact that the portals had to be activated in order to work & placed near the gen... Should've been enough...
I'm baffled tbh. I have yet to see a Demo use these addons, or see a demo in the first place. Didn't use it myself either as I didn't feel like it was super powerful as placing portals near a gen it's already super mega dumb since the survivors doing the gen will 110% cleanse the portal and not just leave it there since it makes you oblivious, makes a lot of noise and give's demo a fast travel point to your location. I'm convinced they don't know that cleansing portals is one of the best ways to counter Demo...
Not mentioning I will simply not just place a portal near a gen and go to a portal just for the sake of it to activate them. I prefer to leave them hidden....
