Nurse, Hag, Demo, Clown.
I'm fine with not seeing Hag. The others I'm a bit "eh" about missing.

Not has too much going for his kit?
And there s more going for Hillbilly players with steer addons but i dont have any vids of those. But you can always face some in a game and see it for yourself .
I've seen the Monto and No0b3 Drift King Billy videos.
I probably just have Killer Fatigue in regards to Billy, since I versed so many such a consentrated timespan. I still stand by what I say about the character, but it probably comes from a place of over-exposure.
-
Spine Chill is a natural answer to stealth killers. Knowing that the killer is aftet you is also just incredibly good information, and that just happens to be a main point if the survivor's game.
There's the skills of running and stealth, and the information aspect. I don't hear a terror radius and that is lit up, I'm gonna run.
It also has no auditory or visual queue for a survivor, other than the bar changing colour if they're doing an action (if no penalties are applied) and the perk itself lighting up. It's just a perk that you uave to learn to counter naturally.

how can "WE" ban together and put a stop to something the devs have said is a tactic, though not so nice of one? I mean there isn't much the community can do but play the game... sure you don't like it leave the match some how, up to you how you do that. but what of the killer, unlike them you have a choice to struggle or not. their only way of "quitting" is to stop moving and just go afk while the survivors do what ever for 5, 10, 20 minutes. Or they could use the perks they have, just like you can choose to use or not use the perks you have. come on be realistic there isn't anything anyone can do about camping. the survivor rulebook does not exist except as comedic trope in samination's and other's minds.
I play both sides, I get tilted at game play every so often but I take a break from the game.
I don't have the answers. I won't claim to. The devs call it a "tactic" and half the community disagrees.
People will call on "the rulebook" but I just see it as not being a tool.
It'd be nice to have some hidden system that takes into account people who regulary DC, face camp, tunnel and all that other fun stuff and prioritise matchung those players together similar to the DC gell that one of the Street Fighter games implimented.

I play both sides and agree while facecamping and tunneling with NOED isn't fun, it's not something the devs control 100%. The game mechanics are not always fun and fair, but I would argue (sorry i didn't post this in my last reply) that it might just be the people you are playing against. A few good games or a few bad games can really sway your opinion on the tools that the other sides use.
They can't, but we can band together as a community and try to put a stop to it. The devs have given us the tools, but we as a community now have to keep these people in check so we don't have another League of Legends or DOTA 2 case where the community is so toxic and the game hard to get into because of a few people spoiling the experience for eveeryone.

So you're calling Billy broken, then? As in, his ability breaks the game because no one else gets what he gets?
You keep bringing up what he does have, without looking at what he doesn't. It's a very subtle way to imply broken without actually considering the facts, and it's disingenuous.
I get that your saying that he gets too much reward for what seems like the most braindead power, but the honest reason it seems like that to you is you are used to the killer struggling at all levels for a kill, which incidentally is the reason most players and even the devs see him as a point of balance.
He is literally the only killer where you can say if you did bad, it was entirely your fault (barring horrible level RNG), and the fact you complain about getting out positioned with bad RNG is part of the reason no one is taking what you say seriously.. Hillbilly is one of the most affected killers by bad RNG. He can't do much at badham, if survivors play smart he can't do ######### at Lery's or even (stranger thing's level), Osmound isn't exactly a great level for him because most pallets that do exist here are safe and the center building ######### every killer, hadonfeild is obviously not his best stage, And I could go on about minor things in each and every level that screws him to some degree or another.
Also, it's a bit ironic to downcast the opinions of players who actually play and have played Billy for any significant number of time. If everyone with actual experience with him is telling you the same thing, at what point do you say to yourself that maybe YOU are the one who needs to re-evaluate?
I'm not calling him broken. I'm calling his ability dumb and over-encompassing. The only thing he is missing from the complete DbD package is a stealth related ability, but the problem there is you're a Stealth killer, or you're not.
My point about positioning and RNG was also that too many people present a point that shouldn't be brought up since it's out of a player's hands. I've also said that I've faced too many Hillbilly players who just hold their saw up for a minute just to get a chainsaw kill, when I could have already been on a hook in that time if they used their hammer.
There's also a difference between earning a kill, and it being handed to you. Myers and Ghostface have to actually work for an instant-down and it's all their power has besides being Stealth killers.
Your point though about about killers struggling for kills is both a new and welcome point, and also ties into what I've been saying for a good while now: Buff every single other killer already.
As for the experienced players point, most of them just spouted points about high-level play when my discussion was about the exact opposite. When a stupid amount of comments are basically "High level play this, git gut you entitled survivor" when I state that this is a look from a neutral player who's gone against this character more than you people have played him, and had a fair bit of experience playing him myself, you tend to see all of them as those they try to brand you as. They seem like they just want an easy-street killer they can just grab and 4k all day with little effort.
When I hit purple ranks on console for the first time, it was 95% Hillbilly, 4% Myers, 1% other. It was so boring to play and I picked up Hillbilly to see what the fuss was about the next season. I played him for a good amount of time and flogged everyone. The only "bad" game I had was the first, with high purple flashlight SWF on Yamaoka Estate against a low green killer who had never played the character.
So, no. I don't need to re-evaluate because nobody has experienced what I have. I've always had opinions here that go against the norm and people don't like it.

That's implying he is OP. If you want anything changed to him, it would be a nerf.
I don't imply. I observe, document and find meaning within said observations.
What I have said is that Hillbilly is too good at a base level for some areas, specifically the lower end of the skill spectrum and in some ways lower levels of gameplay. Too good, not OP. I have also said that he is strong and that is fine. I have never implied or outright stated that Hillbilly is OP in any regard, and the closest thing I have said is too rewarding for having so little drawbacks.
All I have ever said is that maybe having the highest mobility in the game tied to an instant-down and destruction might be a little on the absurd side in terms of balancing and what is acceptable with the range of killers that we have currently.

It might not be the most fun game, but it's still the game. Whether or not you like it, you chose to put yourself at the mercy of the game.
Well, yes, but if I get heaps of games like this, then the next step would be the question "why am I even playing this game?" leading to quitting and the eventual downfall of the game as a whole. Sometimes it's better to just take a loss for the health of the game.

I've always hated Hillbilly. People are just speaking out against him now.
Also, learn to use the phrase "entitlement" properly. Entitlement on here is the new Triggered. Overused and losing meaning.
-
Not always. I'm actually pretty nice to other players.
That being said, there are certain times that I'm going to turn on survivors. I'll actively ditch other survivors if it's a situation like having the killer on the other side of the map with NoED active. I cleansed 3-4 totems, let them reap what they sewed.

Ah yes, exploiting the game by using a killers power for it's intended purpose, BHVR get the ban hammer out ASAP. And while we're at it, gotta ban the Wraiths that use their bell to go invisible, everyone knows the only allowed use is to play a rousing song for the survivors.
Billy base kit is fine. Instasaw and crack Billy are busted, because CTG is a broken addon, but everything else is fair. Billy is counterable if the survivor is better than the killer: I have seen top tier players get absolutely shredded on Billy because survivors knew to stick close to vaults and not allow themselves to get caught out in an area with no cover. Billy is strong, definitely don't get me wrong: he was one of the few killers pre-Ruin nerf that didn't need Ruin, but he's still not OP by any stretch of the imagination. He's a killer with a moderate skill floor and a very high skill ceiling (curving is something I'm terrible at, even with almost two thousand hours in the game).
Again. Power is not a weapon. I'm not saying don't use it, I'm saying don't ONLY use it.
And I agree that he's strong and not OP, BUT I think that his skill floor is lower than you give credit for.
I did also say earlier that my main problem with only using the saw is an ideological difference. I main Pig and like to use her dash as a primary attack before starting a chase, use Billy's hammer a lot and think that new Freddy is actually fun to play.
IF Hillbilly's combination of an instant-down, highest mobility in the game and destruction weren't all tied to a single button press that took no time to activate, then sure. Gold standard. But they are one button. One that can be toggled and held, unlike most powers.

Why would we make changes to the most balanced killer in the game?
People just want EZ escapes I guess.
Let's just nerf Billy so we can play against Freddy, Doc, and Spirit every game at red ranks. That sounds fun.
He is NOT the most balanced killer. That'd be Huntress.
@RobMeister88 said:
This whole thread is a yellow rank mood. Nothing here should be taken seriously by anyone with an ounce of looping knowledge. By the looks of it, I'm pretty sure the people agreeing with Billy nerfs would love for another 1.9.2. to happen again.
It's not that we're agreeing to nerfs, just acknowledging that Hillbilly has a bit too much going for him within his kit. It's as @Tactless_Ninja said with adding all the instant-downs base.
However, I do agree with you that every other killer should be buffed if Hillbilly is this mythical "centre of balance" since he is regularly top 3 for power. Some like Pig could be better with a few number tweaks, while others like Clown need the Freddy treatment.

And what would be your example?
MacMillain Estate, the one with the long shed. There's a generator by trees and rocks, generally near an exit gate, one down a two-way path with a pallet at one, or has a single way in and usually a generator next to the pile of logs.
Pretty unsafe against a majority of killers. The second one can be useful against Huntress.
Or how about Ormond with one on a hill, another near some logs and the open just outside the house on the other side?

There are more gens to fix not only the ones you mentioning. And you re out of position only if you stay on that unsafe gen until the very last second abusing hillbilly limits as he doesnt have that much of steering by default.
Ok, but the point is if there is 3 or more like that, then they must be done making the argument presented irrelivant. Not every generator will be safe, so saying that I have bad positioning is incorrect since I'm forced to be there.

I don't know a single person who cares about the emblem system and ranking up. Ranking up is a bad thing to begin with lmao. It's not really an advantage when it doesn't do anything that hooking and sacrificing a survivor the normal way does. The only thing you can say it does over hooking is counter DS when you're the last one alive, gates are open and they have ds up, which is kinda BS to begin with.
You'd be surprised at just how many people care about rank and complain about the emblem system. That's why I brought it up.
And the DS/Gate powered scenario is a niche one, but one to consider anyway.

Stopped reading after this "Some generators are NOWHERE NEAR window vaults or pallets that you can use to avoid him and there's no 360 you can do against a Hillbilly tapping his chainsaw to be within 1m of a survivor.".
You want all gens to be safe?
Stopped reading? Then don't comment. You missed the point, clearly.
The point of that statement was that heaps of people just say that I'm out of position when that is one of the few points remaining to do a generator, which happens to be in an open area, negating the redundant argument of "you're out of position".
It is a mute point, and people should stop championing it. Not every engagement is made optimally and we should stop treating each other as if they are.
Certain generators are safer from certain killers. That way all pallets are safe, but not all the time.
-
You already can't kobe if you're the last survivor alive.
Killers already have a lit of advantages going for them and it don't exactly speed matches up. It will also detriment a lot of killers who use this as they will miss out on Sacrifice emblem for not hooking a survivor.

I don’t particularly think Billy needs changes on his base-kit but I hate when people say that he is the “center of balance”. No he isn’t. He’s a bit too strong to be considered the most balanced killer. He’s not OP in the slightest but someone who is great at Billy will win a majority of their matches. Most of my matches against Billy are him winning with the same basic ######### build (BBQ, Spirit Fury, Enduring, Infectious Fright), don’t you get tired of running the same ol’ build 50 times in a row?
I don’t care if people came at me with their torches, but Billy is NOT the “center of balance”. No, he isn’t an OP killer who needs nerfs (besides his add-ons) but he is a bit too strong to be considered the MOST balanced killer (that is if the Billy is good). Getting a 4K with five gens up is not “balanced”.
@PigMainClaudette you have to choose your words carefully or you’ll me met with “git gud” and “play better”.
The most balanced killer IMO is Huntress.
I did and it still got me those exact statements. Hillbilly was the first of my The Killer Problem series where I highlight exactly what is said here: he has too much in one ability, too rewarding for his skill floor compared to other Top 5 killers, and the DEVS have said balance is centred on Hillbilly. Peanits or Almo can come on here and cinfirm or deny, but i won't force them to.
And I agree that huntress is most balanced.

The blink doesn't get downs "on its own", but is used nearly everytime through a match.
Her map pressure with both CD addons/a range and a cd addon is half the time (map dependant) much better than billys.
She ignores pallets man. xD
You can modify the distance you blink with a fully charged blink by looking down more or less.
So no, not limited to billy.
I get what you mean by "relying on the saw too much", but that's just you don't liking hillbilly i think.
Point was that Billy has more map coverage, soft destruction and an instant down in his base kit with none of the limitations that Nurse has. I get that Nurse can ignore cover and what-not, but I've versed and played Nurse and all I can say is that it's WAY harder to get a good Blink hit than a saw no matter what level of gameplay you're at.
It's also an eternal crusade of mine with the warcry "You have a weapon, USE IT!" that I tell just about all Hillbillies. That's not me hating Hillbilly and his kit, it's a case of me having an ideological disagreement with 99% of his playerbase.
-

The skill of the billy player is definitly a variable too. But you being outpositioned makes it really easy for him.
Anyway, how is a killer relying on his ability to get downs bad? Is Nurse a bad killer, because she's not walking around at 98% hitting people with her M1?
Does Nurse's ability get downs on it's own, let alone instant-downs? Does it let her cross the map in 3 seconds flat? Does it destroy pallets in half the time of kicking it? Can she toggle the charge her blink to get the perfect distance during a chase? OR is this limited only to Hillbilly?
When you add up everything that Hillbilly's chainsaw can do in ONE BUTTON which I highlighted in several posts, then it becomes a problem when people only need movement, camera and their power button and nothing else to do well in a match. You just move, aim and hold power. No real mind-games, or nowhere near Spirit or Nurse. Just walk around the corner, and hold that power button.

Yeah tbh it kinda is your fault. You’ve already made mistakes by working on a generator that has low priority against a killer like Billy. In fact, any generator without any pallets close by is a bad thing, Billy just capitalizes better in this scenario.
As soon as you hear a chainsaw rev, if you’re experienced enough, you’ll know wether it’s a Hillbilly or a Bubba, from then, you should know when to tuck tail and run or just stay away from that specific generator.
I’m not trying to call you a noob, but it sounds like you don’t have much experience playing this game, or at least against Hillbilly if you can’t figure out what a “low priority gen” is and which is not.
I've been playing the game since Darkness Among Us, consistently hit purple and hit red last season. Low priority or not, it is still an objective and one of MORE THAN TWO that will have to be done on a map that does not allow for safety against that particular type of killer.
Half the time I'm on that generator and hear the chainsaw, it's too late. OR it's the one time that the killer decides to switch targets after someone's come near me.
When I hit purple for the first time, it was nothing but Hillbilly for 95% of my matches. That is a LOT of time having a chainsaw stuck in my back because somebody doesn't want to play the game properly. He is THE single most popular killer on console, and I'm over it. No amount of just saying "just loop him, git gud" isn't going to change that, or the fact that most of the times I take a saw is because the Hillbilly player was braindead enough to rely on their ability for kills unless someone just got unhooked.
My point was that in those situations, it is FAR from strictly a survivor mistake and I'm tired of Hillbilly apologists claiming that it is.
-
@Speshul_Kitten said:
Billy is fine he’s easily loopable just learn to play against him or he will capitalize on your mistakes.
And on maps or locations, such as on the MacMillain Estate maps with generators near nothing but a large rock and 3 trees, doing that generator is a mistake on my part, right? Not an unfortunate part of random map selection.
Having a Hillbilly refuse to let his saw down for a second, chasing me for three times as long through a jungle gym just to get a saw down is my mistake too, right? Not rewarding his bad play.
You see what I'm getting at? Hillbilly can reward bad play on the killer's side or misfortune of survivors just as much, if not more, as punishing bad play.

I like the pig a lot too. In fact my favourite killers to play against don't even have the ability to instadown (Demo, Pig and Huntress iri head doesn't count). I really don't know what you mean with that BT comparison.
He really doesn't need a cooldown that long. He just doesn't. You put a 10 second cooldown on him like that and he becomes one of the least fun killers in the game. Nobody would play him because he wouldn't be a good killer at all.
BT "tech" is where you unhook someone while you have Borrowed Time, they bodyblock for you and proc the Deep Wounds effect, rather than you getting hit instead.
And the cooldown would realistically be 7 seconds, because of his animation. I just find it unfair and unfun to go from the missed saw animation immediately back into another saw. Especially on survivor!
-
@ALostPuppy said:

I wouldn't go so far as to say you're exploiting an ability. And have you ever played as a m1lly? It's boring as hell. Billy is one of the last killers that are super fun to play. It's fine for you to think that he has too much going for him, but he's fine against decent and good survivors. Him and Nurse (and maybe Oni and Spirit to a point) are the only killers that can actually keep up with the speed of a match. Should also say that Billy is one of the last killers that doesn't have any horrific downside or cooldown on his ability and it feels really good.
I also don't get frustrated against "saw Billies" if that's what you want to call them. It's infinitely MORE fun to me to actually have to concentrate a bit more when I'm getting chased. There are a lot of ways to counter a Billy and he can get looped to oblivion. I'd take facing a Billy trying to go for chainsaws over a boring M1 Billy any day. But I guess it's just a matter of opinion. Some people like default killer chases and some don't. I personally don't.
Funny thing is that lately people have been showing heaps of love and saying how fun Pig is. An "M1" killer who does have pretty severe downsides and can be looped quite easily.
As for exploiting his ability, and I 100% mean this question, how is it not on the same level as BT body-blocking?
Or why should I be punished for where the game places a generator?
I don't believe for a second though that a three second animation is enough of a cooldown. If it totalled 10 seconds, with animation included, then people might throw some hammers and it would be healthier for the game.
Not saying that he should strictly be an M1 killer, but we should maybe not get all of his downs with the saw, maybe drop it back to about 20% of them. 30% at most.

Exposed by itself isn't OP or not OP. It depends on how it's implemented. In the case of Devour Hope, it's not.
And the point is that the gen-rush meta was absolutely not caused by killers responding to the Ruin rework. It existed WELL before that point.
Point was that killers have their subtlety within perks and their powerful effects too.
As for gen-rush, I didn't notice it until the Ruin-rework. I noticed it more around the time of more campers and tunnellers in response to the Ruin rework. Survivors just did gens instead of rewarding trash killer play.
-
I tried pointing this out and I got attacked for most of my replies. All I can say is prepare for war.
I personally think that he has too much going for him to be the "centre of balance" and too much power in one button.
Apologists will also say that you can just 360 him or his chainsaw punishes bad positioning, which is just wrong. It rewards the killer bad play on both sides. Some generators are NOWHERE NEAR window vaults or pallets that you can use to avoid him and there's no 360 you can do against a Hillbilly tapping his chainsaw to be within 1m of a survivor.
There is also zero punishment for missing/colliding with terrain, unlike Nurse, Spirit, technically Freddy (teleporting to the wrong generator) or Bubba. Not even a cooldown until you can use the saw again!
He can also tap his activation to hover the meter, unlike Pig, Doctor, Deathslinger, Nurse, Spirit or Freddy. One you go for it, it's all or nothing.
Oni, who has basically the same ability, has to BUILD UP his power by using his actual weapon and collecting resource.
Now when you play him like a normal killer, as in use his hammer, he's GREAT! Still really strong, but infinetly less frustrating to go against. It also opens you up to more perks, such as Third Seal or Sloppy Butcher.
By all means, use the saw to bait a pallet. If they drop it, eat it. If they don't then you get a saw down. Use it against teabaggers and punish them for toxicity. Bridge the gap against Adrenaline or snipe people. Have some actual SKILL with your saw!
Saw-Billies are on the same level as BT, DH, DS abusers. You are exploiting one particular feature about part of the game for massive benefit. These people are just getting too great a reward, and only loosing out on some Chaser emblem so they can't double-pip as easily.
I don't like Billy because I've versed too many of them, been hit by too many unfair saws, and had too many apologists just tell me to "Git gud" for anyone to justify his current state to me. Because of his player-base. Because of those who think the saw is a weapon and they're godly at the game for it.
Billy is the popular King of the Meta on console and it's time for a coup. Let's dethrone him already and get some variety back in the game.

I think Iron Will is fine as is, personally. It is good at what it does, but I think what it grants you is worth one perk slot. If it did anything less, it almost certainly would not be worth the slot.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1155449#Comment_1155449
Devour Hope is not remotely close to OP. It does borderline nothing until you get three tokens from it, and if the Survivors find the totem before you can use it, your perk went to waste hardcore. You have to actually earn the Exposed ability, and from there, you are probably not going to keep it for long unless you get very lucky. It is basically a much worse NOED.
Also, the gen rush meta absolutely did not start in response to a "kill rush" meta. I think it is generally agreed that gen rushing came to prominence a good while back when Self Care was nerfed and people ended up finding out that Adrenaline was just better.
@Rivyn said:

Devour only ever becomes 'subtly OP' when it actually has a good spawn point. The spots on the Preschool where totems are nestled between bushes and trees is nice. That's very few spots, though. Most other maps, it's right there in the open with a spotlight from heaven pointing down on it.
I do think you're backwards on the whole 'kill rush' meta. Gen rushing has been a thing for the last year. It had a bandaid with Ruin, so it was less apparent. Remove Ruin, and you had games going from fifteen minutes down to seven. It forced killers to focus those downs as fast as possible. Since at least half the maps are the size of Alaska, a killer can't spend time giving every survivor a 60 second chase and three hooks each, unless he wants to lose.
Personally, I find Iron Will more of an annoyance. Not so much when the survivor pulls a Houdini mid chase, but when they tail me as I'm hooking somebody, and get the rescue as I'm leaving. Make it double if they're using BT. Irks me.
It's not that it is strictly OP, but has it's somewhat OP elements. I'm actually ok with Devour and it's hidden Exposed because you have to earn it.
As for kill/gen rushing, I'm not a fan either way and still prefer Self-Care over Adrenaline, but then again I prefer perks that AREN'T one use only. Except Decisive Strike, but I use it as intended.

There's nothing overpowered about Devour Hope, if you ask me. Unlike Iron Will, there is a non-perk counter to the power itself (I.E cleanse the totem, force the killer to stay in the vicinity to not gain stacks). For DH, you need to hook survivors after ending chases with them, it's one of the best perks for rewarding the killer.
Exposure without notice after 3 hooks. Kind of subtle and a little OP.
There is also the perkless counter of just looking for them or following scratch marks, not exactly the most intuitive answer, but still one to consider.
-
Killers have a lot of frustrating perks to go up against too. I'd argue that Devour Hope is subtly OP. The Gen-Rush meta was also formed because a lot of killers decided to make themselves a KILL-Rush meta after Ruin rework.
If you wanted to counter Iron Will, then I'd suggest running Stridor as a lot of Spirit players say that it is really good at countering it.
-
Exposed is an instant-down as long as you hit with your WEAPON when applied.
This means that chainsaws, hatchets and bear traps don't count. Pig's dash and Legion's Feral Frenzy also don't work for this either as they are considered special attacks, even though they are using their weapon.
As for the duration, it is normally stated on the perk or add-on.

Ehhhh could work. But all the gimmicks they could have had are mostly taken by Demogorgon.
But hooking people would be similar to cocooning them. Facehuggers would need to be a thing. Acid blood or spit. High mobility a must. So would stealth capabilities.
You don't need acid blood or Facehuggers. Acid blood would be too hard to balance, spit was never a thing and Facehuggers may as well be an instant kill, just on a timer. OR they'd just take too long to gestate considering the average length of a game.
I did cover how you could add stealth and high mobility, though, and it would be nice to actually see a stealth/mobility killer in the game. And no, Wraith doesn't count.

Survivor is getting super repetitive too with killers simply trying to optimise to deal with this somewhat elusive meta build, which I rarely find one of. I have versed so many Hillbillies that I'm almost at the point of asking for an "Avoid this killer" feature to stop versing so many of them. I don't know how bad the original Nurse Pandemic was on PC, but I think that I equal or beat that number. Or I did anyway when I first hit purple, and he was 95% of games.
If red-rank players in general just decided to chill out and just play something fun, rather than just what is popular or powerful, then getting to red might actually be something to look forward too, let purples sweat it out then when you get to red you get to relax and play a meme build or two.
The only other thing that I can suggest is making a new account, rarely playing it and going on every now and again just for a bit of fun. I have several mates who don't play that often any more, so I have an account where they won't run into my red/purple killers and it is a bit more balanced since I don't use level 3 perks, except for some of the weaker ones.
-
False. I play both sides, but more survivor overall. Absolute metal-head.
I listen to a lot of rock and metal music, especially since I was both heavily into and played those styles of music LONG before I got into Dead by Daylight. People listen to what they want to. I'll gladly listen to DOOM 2016's soundtrack Welcome to Hell before jumping into a match as a stealthy Claudette.

Well, the devs did say that they want humanoid only characters, but I do think that the Xenomorph could be classed as humanoid with this type of image:
The main visual and mechanical problems will arise from having that tail, though, considering that it's as long, if no longer than the rest of it's body. As for ability, I dunno. I do feel like it should possibly have a stealth ability and be able to possibly have it as a crouch/traversal ability where it is lower to the ground, in an animalistic all-fours style, and able to simply slide over/under obstacles, and jump up holes similar to Oryx from R6: Siege. Maybe not able to attack while in this mode, though, as that would possibly be a little too gamebreaking.
It'd be nice to see some mobility that wasn't Hillbilly or something akin to a teleport.

Honestly please no.
The Xenomorph is meant to be an unstoppable, terrifying, killing machine.
The last thing we need is that legacy ruined by survivors t-bagging it at the exit gates.
And normally I do agree with you, but I also have to point out that the same thing generally goes for Michael Myers, Dreamworld Freddy* and Leatherface. They've all had to endure humiliating moments at exit gates against toxic survivors.
*for those who don't know or want to argue the point, Freddy is invincible while within the realms of dreams but has been pulled into the mortal realms and killed. He has also had his powers of a Dream Demon taken away, but this was in the later movies in the series where things were becoming more absurd and mainly done for plot reasons. This is also based on the original 6 movies before the reboot ROYALLY SCREWED the canon and origin story of Freddy Kruger. He is invincible within dreams for 95% of the movie time at least.

Why is this exploit in particular not, but when killers have an exploit with nurse, that is bannable?
Every survivor exploit is never bannable, but all the killer ones tend to be. Why is that?
Because having Nurse move at the speed of light or never being able to mend against Legion is different to survivors cutting out a small stun.

Otz had this happen in one of his matches on stream too
He didn't have it as bad as this, but there was still the white ring and a high level of colour saturation.
Still an issue that needs serious looking at.

If my theory on what the Entity is, then Eleven being psychic shouldn't matter.
I also haven't seen Stranger Things, so I'm just speculating off what I've heard about the show and the backstories/perks within the game.
Steve seems to be hardy and has a desire to protect others, similar to David in a way. Something that the Entity will try to exploit and get him to either be driven into harm's way or slink off as a coward.
Nancy appears to be head-strong and confident. Something to shatter within the realm of the Entity. Doubt should start to plague her over time after repeated bouts of intelligent murderers coming and besting her.

I'd LOVE to see the Warrior-form of the Xenomorph and possibly Ripley.
No clue as to what their perks or power would be, but hey. They'd be a cool addition.

DO. NOT. TURN. XBOX. SERVERS. BACK. ON.
That was the worst experience I've ever had. Lag spikes bigger than games I've been removed from constantly. Killers hitting me 5m behind them when they swung normally. Generally unable to play the game because the server could not do it's job properly.
And people disconnect against my Pig all the time! People are just salty or dumb.

Imagine getting to Rank 1 and NOT knowing how killer perks work. This sort of thing makes me feel bad for playing as much survivor as I do and learning the ins and outs of the game.
-
Old Hex: Ruin was actually more harmful for the game than it was good or necessary.
As a lot of people have stated in other threads about the perk, it only really affected the lower ranks with it's skill-checks as a majority of higher ranks could consistently hit Great skill-checks. It's also difficult for console players, who have a semi-random chance of actually hitting a Great result. Believe me, I've tried for the This Is Not Happening challenges, and it was wildly inconsistent.
It is also a perk that a lot of killers leaned into to compensate for a lack of skill at the time, myself included until I learnt how to play. I still use it on certain builds, but I also try to share damage and apply pressure through that shared hook state.
Other Hex perks have also become more popular lately since people are not instantly Ruin-hunting at the start of a match. If Ruin were to be reverted, everyone would simply swap back to it, and we'd lose out on perks like Devour Hope.
As for the Surveillance arguments, just no. The perk was good BEFORE the Ruin Rework, but nobody used it correctly. To me, in a vacuum, Surveillance is better than Discordance for a majority of killers. It gives you more information over time about survivor movements and nobody ran it at the time. Yes, you had to physically kick the generator but you kind of want to in order to stop progression. It can also be used for some very spicy baits.

Rank 1 imo 100% needs to be way more difficult to get. It is way to easy to reach rank 1. Even reaching rank 1 on killer and survivor is not fun, because like you said, it's the same people again and again.
It's not even the same people, I verse different players, but the SAME. DAMN. CHARACTERS.
I'm on Xbox, so that'll influence the picks here, but Hillbilly is the most common, Myers and GF are pretty common, Trapper mainly for Archives, occasional Freddy who's always tough to go against. You'll get sprinklings of other characters.

There isn't a counter for a Mori. And there's only 2 "Kill" effects in the game that require you to be hooked. Ebony and Ivory Momento Mori's. Devour Hope, Cypress Momento Mori, Rancor and Tombstone Myers don't require a previous hook.
As for camping, there's no counter for the one BEING CAMPED. The one on the hook loses rank, gains next to no BP and wastes their time because the killer doesn't want to play. This is also dependent on the point in the match where it happens, but still. You're also relying on others, commonly randoms with no communication, to either recognise the situation and capitalise on it, OR have an appropriate perk to help counter the face-camp.
Keys do have a counter, though. It's called FRANKLIN'S DEMISE. Insta-heals? You have Haunted Ground, Devour Hope, Tier III Myers, Hillbilly and Leatherface, endgame Rancor, Make Your Choice, NoED and Franklin's Demise.
This isn't a survivor complaint either. It's an objective counter-point to certain elements of your statement. I play both sides and look at them equally. You have the tools at your disposal, it's up to you to learn how to use them and apply that knowledge.
