Well, if the kill rates are anything to go off, then yeah. Legion is flat out better than everyone thinks.
They're also fantastic for BP gain and rank.

What's wrong with people using the perk? Perks are meant to be used pig, I hate NOED just like you do (as you know), but there isn't anything wrong with using a perk.
Same thing as throwing yourself at the killer with DS. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with, and I hate getting punished for the actions of others.

"I do what I have to for my team. They don't."
They why is it "stupid killers playing video game" and not "stupid survivors ruining my games"?
If they aren't gonna help you, just hide and let THEM get downed. No point being the bait for a useless team. Use them as bait instead, and maybe they'll learn from their failures. Behold the no-bones counter to NOED; sacrifice the non-boners to teach them a lesson.
Here's a life lesson for everyone: if someone is causing a problem for you, make it THEIR problem instead.
Killers take my immediate ire for having the perk.
The survivors have a longer lasting one because they allowed it to happen.
People excusing the perk on these forums keep me frustrated with it for having terrible excuses.
I am frustrated with EVERYONE over the perk. bHVR for making it, other killers for using it and other survivors for not removing it.
If you are who I think you are, you've been in my head long enough to know that.

Fundamentally, your Terror Radius is not a ring, but a literal bubble. Static Blast goes through the whole bubble, including above and below you.

You know the killer also has 4 perk slots only and noed can be completely avoided by doing bones. Survivors can sacrifice 1 of their 16 perks to neglect 1 of the 4 killer perks entirely.
The perks does not reward bad killer but rather punishes bad survivors. The higher you climb the more likely you won't even get to use the perk. Im sorry for your personal inconveniences ingame but nerfing a perk because "my team bad" does not justify it at all.
You know that I'm the one doing bones to counter it, right? And that Decisive Strike and Unbreakable are also avoidable perks with the right style of play?
It's also like saying that survivors earn Adrenaline for surviving long enough.

The thing is, it may suck for solo players because they may cant do it all alone sometimes, but thats the point.
Its a team game. You have to eork together in order to survive and it would be kinda stupid if you could do almost everything easylie solo.
Sure it sucks if you get stupid mates but you shouldnt get it easier just because of that.
That being said, i am all for a huge solo queue buff, but nerfing NOED is stupid.
Problem is that, yes it is a team game, but it feels like I specifically am being pushed because 3 other people are incompetent.
All I want for NoED are two conditions, and maybe a safety clause. Change it so it's only after 5 generators complete, and shows Exposed immediately. If they want to add protection for those that did bones, that'd be nice but that's probably wishful thinking.
-
Now the next time you say "Do bones", remember this feeling.

NoEd doesn't reward bad Killers, it punishes bad Survivors. Part of being a good Survivor is cleansing totems. If you don't want to cleanse and rush gens, then that is your choice. Don't blame the perk or the Killer, blame your choices.
@The_Krapper said:
Well apparently you did everything but the 5 totems that stop noed from spawning in the first place
Gonna just repeat MY old arguments for this, but I've done 4 WITHOUT these perks or items, still made all the saves and died in 1 hook and ONE HIT because NoED.
The OP also said that the "do bones" argument is not realistic as we, as solo players, have as many things to do and contend with as the killer. Bones are a priority, but so's keeping alive the other 3 meatsacks that we have to call teammates so we can DO said bones.
Equipping perks is also unrealistic as we only have 4 perk slots. And, well, they're usually taken by perks more necessary for immediate survival. I never run Adrenaline because of the fact that endgame is a maybe.
And Avis, it does reward bad killers. As much as it does bad survivors, if not more. It is a perk that says "You're doing badly and losing, here's Exposed. The strongest status in the game. I'll even hide it for you too!" and that's just wrong. Devour Hope is the ONLY other perk to do so, but you have to earn that.

I don't mind strong killers either, but Freddy just has too much and is too easy and forgiving against all but the absolute top tier survivor groups.
Freddy needs to be toned down and his affects move to his add-ons. It's just a bit ridiculous all the things he has in his base kit.
They could be toned back a little bit, and he quite easy, but I don't see that happening any time soon because of where Freddy was BEFORE the rework.
And at the end of the day, he's still a basic M1 killer, and I'd much rather see him than Billy everywhere again. Or Bubba. Against a Freddy, I know that they worked in a chase (no, I don't see snare-spam anywhere) but the Saw Boys just chainsaw all the time and one slight bit of latency or one slight angle correction and I'm eating a chainsaw.
To me Freddy and Doc are where killers SHOULD be, but maybe that plays into my preference for playing a more control-style killer and game.
-
Hi, Mad. I'm PigMainClaudette!
-
Having strong killers isn't actually a BAD thing. If all killers had kill rates equal to Blight and Nurse, then this game would lose all sense of horror. Even though I play more Survivor than Killer, I WANT killers to be stronger so I actually have to earn my escape.
Yes, there are a few tweaks that Freddy might need, like making his snares activate after 3 seconds, rather than 1 or whatever it is. But as he stands currently, I'm really happy with him.
-
Blight is playable on console. You don't NEED his power in a chase to do well.

Blights a bit like nurse, you're either really good with him or you don't play him at all. I'm currently rank 1 with Blight. I did a test today to see what my kill percentage would be and I had a 60 percent kill rate. Out of 13 games 6 were 2 kills or less and 7 were 3 or more. 2 games all survivors escaped and those were both on Ormond (the survivors burned the offering each time)
Indeed, but easier to play. I tried him out last night on Xbox. Couldn't land a single Lethal Rush.
His power is better as a general mobility tool for console. Still got 3k/hatch, but the last one got out because I was trying to land a rush attack, rather than just finish them off.

90% of the time I get a farming killer, it's a Pig. So these stats are also ignoring the fact that, for some reason, there are apparently tons of Pig mains who love to farm LMAOOOO
That must be a region thing, because I almost never farm.
Based on my own play, I would argue that these stats are wrong because the only Blights I have faced were in mid ranks, not red. Nurse is almost never seen, Pig never appears in red and all that, until you consider that it is GLOBAL and we have not been given a definition of a "red ranked" game.

dude it doesn't matter if its the majority or not, what matters is whats reasonably possible and 4 survivors in a swf using meta and gen rushing is very reasonably possible. to the point where i could go make a post or some other forum of recruitment and have a skilled team in about 10 minutes and go do it myself. they don't even have to be the best they just have to last a reasonable 40ish seconds and we would win by gen rushing.
even against a good nurse a good swf can beat her, there was even a tournament where a spirit and nurse basically lost and only recovered because of noed which could have been prevented and they didn't even get close to 10 hooks. i don't remember what its called but they used a weird point system.
Yeah, a weird point system that wasn't the IN GAME one, right?
And not mattering if it's the majority or not is a total lie, since most games are balanced around the average, not the top. I've only played one game which balances around the top, and does so successfully.
There's also no indication for SWF, so for all we know, a team of solo players could just click. It happens! SWF and Torunaments are not a way to determine the strength of something.

Nah,that spot takes Demo,Deathslinger and Pyramid Head imo
How many of them actually HARM them by using them?
Lose all map pressure from your power for 12m wall hacks. Oh, BTW we're going to give Wraith the same thing but no downside and purple, not pink. He's also faster while stealthed.
More skill checks, with a Great result still existing, meaning that they can remove the power more easily.
Or even the one that people want BASE KIT. Disable the ability to see auras until the trap is activated, aka force survivors onto generators.
Demo, Slinger and PH all have some bad ones, but you also don't have trade-offs WORSE than your benefit!

I think you're literally the only person to view games like that. A 3 or 4k is a win no matter how many gens are done. If I 4k with 5gens remaining I completely stomped. If I 4k with gates open its close but still very much a win for me.
Disagree, and no they aren't. I've always followed the Emblem system.
Entity Displeased is a loss. I DID NOT do my objectives, and yes there are 4.
Brutal Killer is a draw. I didn't suck hard, but I wasn't great either.
Ruthless is a win. I rank up.
Merciless is a big win. I did my job completely, and proved I can do all 4 objectives.

Well, it's like @Aven_Fallen said. Pig has a very dedicated cult following who actually understand her VERY well. It also helps that we have Scorpionz to boost that stat.
That being said though, her add-on pool is one of, if not THE, worst in the game.

What did Scott do to prove this? Because as far as I’ve seen, Scott is like the most average Spirit player. He’s not GREAT but not bad either. I watched him play and lose a few times as Spirit.
I don’t think this bug has really any difference in the way you play Spirit. I played her a couple of times and I played the exact same way but I also don’t do the stand still “MiNdGaMe”. This bug is BARELY a nerf.
I also haven’t seen this bug from the survivors POV, I’ve only heard about it.
He had someone be Spirit, he guessed where they were by the one moan and then they revealed their location. They were always closer than you'd expect.
I'm in the same boat about the bug.

because it is mate, try winning against a swf running meta and are actually good at the game and are veteran players. pretty much any killer will lose and even nurse or spirit have a very hard time against them provided they know how to play against them. nothing you use besides mori's will let you win and even then if they bring a key you lose no matter what.
It isn't. Just because the high end has a slight issue, doesn't mean the whole game is like that.
Low ranks have the opposite problem where the killer slaughters the survivors with ease in a majority of their games.
In the middle, it is almost a coin toss.

Yeah, because PERIODICAL MOANING is the same as always seeing scratch marks, hearing injured survivors and seeing grass move.

Well, The game doesn't chug like a teen with a goon bag, so yeah. Occasional stutter, but I usually chalk it up to Aus NBN being worse than Nurse's kill rates. Nothing game breaking at all.

You should know the mechanics yourself considering you're an active player but ok:
1) Charge up mechanic (allowing survivors to vault a window or drop/vault a pallet)
2) Charge/token re-charge mechanic (which requires patience as going at 2 charges for instance may result in too little chainsaw range to get the down)
3) collision/tantrum mechanic (which allows survivors to pretty much get away for free in a chase if Bubba bumps into anything)
4) Charge/token TIMING (which requires more mechanical skill than most other killer powers in the game and messing up the timing can cost you the chase. Takes practice especially when using the chainsaw to anti-loop)
Video sample of anti-looping while timing the charges and avoiding collision:
Tell me how I didn't earn that down.
That one you did earn, but I'm talking about the other thousand downs that happen mindlessly.
The ones where people just hold their saw in an open field.

You described literally every killer in the game. Hold button, use power.
That's exactly what Myers does, too.
Besides one could say Myers has the most unfair instadown in the game because he can just stalk a bad teammate until stalk is 99'd (which really doesn't require any actual "work" especially with addons) and punish a GOOD player with the easiest-to-use instadown in the game as it's literally just a M1 hit with increased lunge range that requires 0% mechanical skill unlike Hillbilly and Leatherface.
WHERE IS THE MECHANICS WITH LEATHERFACE?
And yes, it sucks when Myers 99's stalking and downs me. I still feel like he at least earned it, and my frustrations are mainly with the other Survivors on my team. Same with Oni and him activating Blood Fury next to me after I haven't seen him all game. There's at least a minimum level of work involved with them. Unlike the rednecks who just have their power from the start.

Easily spun? I've NEVER had that with a Bubba, and this is on console where being able to 360 is the norm.
@[Deleted User] said:
Because they either have to earn it, thus giving chance to survivors to simply not give them their one shot (Myers, Ghostface, Oni), or they have hard mechanics to use (the chainsaw boys).
Hard mechanics? Hold one button, use power. Not that hard.
I like the ones that Myers, GF and Oni have because as you said, they are earned. But the rednecks? Nope.

Are you certain they'll get round to fixing it? If we're right about how the game's actually coded and it's actual spaghetti code they're working with, I don't see them fixing some of the most broken bugs unless they literally recreated the game from the ground up which is way too much time and money spent on something that won't get them anything in return.
I've said before that the best thing they can do is to re-code it all to fix a majority of the bugs. And if it brings back players, then it can't be that bad an option.

@B_Random said:
Wraith, Huntress, Pig, and Demogorgon are the only untouched killers in this discussion. And you know what's hilarious about that to me, it sounds like many survivor mains are really wanting to get rid of the stronger killers so all that is left are some of the weaker killers.
Also, I just want to point this out right now, for people who say stuff like "[Killer Name] is unhealthy for the game." "This killer is too OP!" "This killer makes me DC, remove them!" There is the argument that some of the points being made or SLIGHTLY correct in some cases. However, the one thing that makes me laugh is that survivors can have ENDLESS Second Chances, while the killer has no second chance perks, most of the killer perks can be taken away altogether before they can even be used and other ones have a certain time they can be used before they're rendered useless.
So people who give the argument that so-and-so killer is unfair or unfun or anything like that, the survivor has NO EXCUSES to give other than: "I played poorly" or what isn't heard from a survivor who's at a high rank "I'm just trash". Survivors have EVERYTHING at their disposal, before anyone states that I'm some entitle killer main, I played survivor for a long while during the time when I was in red ranks as the killer and I went up against survivors that made me want to kill myself. I used certain second chance perks at the time and saw that it was stupid for how many "second chance's" survivors get. Sure, a killer can still 4k and stomp a group of survivors, there's also a chance 1 or 4 of the survivors were running the second chance meta and the killer still won. However we need to think about it, is it really the killer's who are unfun and boring to play against, or is it the survivor meta that's incredibly boring and irritating to play against?
Demo was mentioned by someone. Wraith is eh, Pig has a large cult following and people only complain about Huntress because of Iri heads. The problem that people have with Wraith going against him are all the obnoxious low-ranked campers who go invisible right next to a hook. Same with Trap Tunnellers for Pig. Even decent Pig players hate them!
As for your comment about second chances, that's flat out incorrect. Decisive Strike and Unbreakable all have ONE use. If used correctly, that's all you'll need admittedly. Most other forms like pallet/flashlight saves or sabotaging hooks are all out of that survivor's hands. And NoED exists.
Now, unfun or OP is indeed subjective. I find Bubba and Hillbilly unfun to go against because hitboxes magically grow whenever I face them, but mainly because the usual 2-hit chase DOESN'T APPLY TO THEM. If I wanted to be at one health state all game, I'd be running No Mither. Hag is unfun to play against if they do the usual hook-camp with their traps because you are basically dead just because you lost one chase.
-
Bubba.
At least the other killers in the game have redeeming qualities about them. I hate Billy, but if you don't just always use the saw in a chase, it's a decent mobility tool, and baiting pallets with it is always nice. Hag will always be the camping b*tch, but at least Otz and Mitchi proved that you can do something other than half your traps at the base of a hook.
Bubba though? You get into a normal chase. You use your saw unless they're directly next to a window. yaaaaaaay.

The thing is, a lot of them haven't been patched out for months now, and things like Billy's anims and lack of sound periodically are now probably considered features by the devs.
Still better than Bethesda. And like I said, they'll get there eventually so there's no need to light the torches and sharpen the pitchforks.
-
Because YOU didn't do any of your objectives.
It sucks, I know. Unfortunately there is no way to actually prevent it.
