White Claw Seltzers aren't THAT great. Same with Stone & Wood Pacific Ale, Guava Cruisers and Little Fat Lamb.
Paranormal Activity almost put me to sleep.
Elfen Lied is actually a good series.

SAAAANTAH CLAUSSE IS COMING TO TWN, SAAAANTAH CLAUSSE IS COMING TO TOWN!! SANTAA CLAUSE IS COMING, TO TOOOOOOWWWWWWNNN!!!

Christmas is hell where I am, and I've been through 5 of them.

Yeah, so, not only are YOUR matches ruined by your internet dropping out, but everyone else's games is too.
Just because you aren't the one hitting [LEAVE MATCH], you aren't absolved of any wrongdoings.
Salty players across all online multiplayer are also notorious for yanking out Ethernet cables to sever connections, simulating an internet drop-out. There is no way to differentiate the two, so both are punished.

Killing yourself on hook is this game's built in surrender option for survivors. There's no need for survivors to have a separate surrender option in this game. Especially considering that the design of the hook is that every single survivor has a veto option for surrender that overpowers all other members of their team.
That only works IF Survivors make it to the hook.
-
Oh, man. I thought you went to rank 7! But yeah this happens occasionally. Just take the easy games while you can and just climb back up
-
On the bright side, all you have to do is hunt perks then and just play the game without any add-ons if you hate them that much. At least you don't need add-ons to make a killer remotely viable, or have a pool of 10 decent to good ones that almost never appear.
-
If the Hag places traps anywhere near the hook, I want to kill them.
Other than that, my only issue really is the camera being forced towards the Phantasm. A good Hag will keep me on my toes, but with all the trap campers around, she's still in my top 3 most hated to go against.

I feel like he's correct. It's really easy to pip as killer. As survivor, the safer way to pip is to play stealthy, safe, and by avoiding the killer. But if you try to play in an interactive way, getting chased a lot and spending less time on the main objective, pipping is a lot harder.
Probably most survivors play in the first way, so maybe it's just me, but consider that score is only counted when you're "actively" in a chase, so if for example the killer loses you for a bit or it's too far to start the chase event, even if they're actively trying to catch you specifically, you won't gain any points from that
Tldr it's easy to pip as survivor only if you play 'boring', meanwhile on killer you literally just need to play
Also remember that how good your team mates are and whether or not a killer decides to bring a mori/camp you ecc affect that as well.
There's a lot of factors that determine if someone will pip. Killer selection is a big one.
My top 3 most played are Pig, Doc and Legion. Combine this with my policy of never camping or tunnelling and I'm borderline Merciless every game I'm not totally stomped.
As a stealthy survivor, I lose out on quite a bit of Chaser as stealth isn't rewarded anywhere near as much as you'd think. That being said, all I have to do to pip is indeed show up and not play like trash.
-
It's more an ease of understanding than a raw "This killer is difficult to play".
Let's take a look at the examples you gave here:
Freddy - The Nightmare has to balance generator teleportation, a limited pool of traps and being a basic killer. His snares aren't easy to work with for new players and the teleport is tricky to manage and target.
Doctor - The Doctor has no mobility again, and his powers are also weird. There is a lot of timing to Shock Therapy and unless you can see a survivor, Whispers is the only way to guarantee value with Static Blast. With Shock Therapy it also stops Survivors from performing actions, which can be used in a chase to deny pallets, vaults or even hook saves.
Hillbilly - Everything is in that saw. You hold a button and it works.

Ranks are not about what you want, Ranks are there for matchmaking purposes so you're not ranked with weaker players in order to bully them.
While that is true, people bully each other all over the place in this game. Red ranks are more likely to take someone like Oni and Demon Strike all 4 players at 5 generators with Infectious Fright, which I did not sign up for. Survivor queue times in higher ranks are already long enough without me eating dirt for most of the game because I don't run Unbreakable.
Lower and mid ranks have a notorious amount if hardcore tunnellers and campers. Campers are more of an issue at around Yellow ranks especially.
After playing in a secondary account, my games are still fine and I'm bullying nobody. Yes, my perks are weaker, but I don't run at them with DS active or flashlight at every pallet.
I do not agree with selling ranks off though. If somebody wants to de-rank, then they can take a break from the game for sure. Or have another account and use weaker perks.
-
@imonahookagain said:
The reason you are red rank without the matching skill set is because they favor the killers in this game. Just have to show up, hit a survivor or two, camp your first hook or tunnel until disconnect or dead and you'll max out on points.
The toxic survivors are a product of the tormenting killers and barring witness to all the hard work you put in during the match to only see a fraction of the killers reward.
Sincerely disagree. I find as killer that you have to be switched on all game, and always working hard.
Many of the "strong" killers also have instant-downs that really negatively affect scoring.
In terms of BLOODPOINTS, killers have it way easier, and nobody will deny that, but pips are easier on survivor. That being said, my playstyle blends well with the Pip system so I rarely have a problem.
-
When a generator is completed, the trap activates. The survivor then has 2:30 to remove it. This can be modified by the add-ons Tampered Timer (-30 seconds) and Jigsaw's Scetch (+30 seconds, +1 box).
When the trap is placed on a survivor, the key is placed in one of the (usually) 4 boxes. The survivor then has to search boxes until they find the key. This can be modified by Jigsaw's Scetch (+1 Box, +30 seconds) Jigsaw's Annointed Plan (+1 Box) and Amanda's Letter (-2 Boxes, 1 RBT, 12m Wall hacks)
The timer is paused when the survivor is :
- On a hook.
- In the "Dying" state.
- Is in a chase with the killer.
If a survivor attemps to leave via an open Exit Gate with an active RBT, then the device will automatically activate, killing the survivor. If they escape through a hatch, it does not.
-
So, the Spirit whoosh is for outside the Terror Radius of the husk.
If you have no TR, then you have whooshing. It'd be closer to current Prayer Beads.
-
In theory, this is quite a solid idea, but there are a lot of survivors out there, myself included, who won't care and hunt Ruin. Or just play the same way and try to dodge the killer regardless.

I understand that it takes time and patience, i just do not have the time or the patience 😂
Unfortunately already as it is I barely have enough time for my hobbies, so taking a new one which takes alot of time simply isn't in it for me. Uhm the models I will get are not pre painted either, they are the normal models and in addition to that I pay someone who is good to paint them for me. So I can at least admire them.
That is fair. I've been at this hobby for a decade now, and spend a majority of my time painting.
Pretty much on a day off, it's paint and binge Netflix at the same time during daylight then DbD at night.

Cool this makes me actually like you, i do not paint any warhammer models but did like to read stuff like horus heresy and enjoy warhammer fantasy and 40k. I played dawn of war 2 for a longtime and was really burnt by dow3, I still have my fingers crossed that GW will give the license to creative assembly and let them make a great 40k game as well. 40k and warhammer 3 and i do not again ask for another warhammer game i guess.
Awesome paint job on all models, there is something I do like about each model. On Fabius Bile is that supposed to be skin stretched across the shoulders? Looks great, I think I will buy some models from the local GW store but already painted. I think I will start with fantasy and maybe add a few from 40k. When that happens I will share the photos here but just remember I do not paint them.
So, Yeah. Fabius Bile does actually wear a cloak made out of skin.
There are also no pre-painted models, but don't worry about a bad paint scheme. I look back at my first models and they're awful! I have the old Abaddon model and I couldn't paint at all. It just takes time and practice.

Papa Nurgle is overjoyed by your attention, and would like you to know that even if he's not your favorite you are his and he'll always have a free hug ready for you. ;)
Why, thank you! It'll be interesting to see how that turns out. Maybe I'll update my Bloodthirster that I did back when the Khorne Daemonkin book came out, before I started using washes and all that, then I'll have a look at my new pantheon. The Lord of Change is now literally the last of the Greater Daemons that I'm missing!

I'm afraid the Ordo Malleus will be mightily displeased, and need pictoral evidence for your pending trial. Definitely not for our viewing pleasure. #NoShaming.
Well, still trying to figure out how to base coat it. Starting with black for the wings, but trying to figure out which parts are the chest to spray white.
There was a thread of mine recently showing off some of my collection. A Keeper of Secrets, Shalaxi Helsbane, a Great Unclean One, Mortarion, Abbadon, Skarbrand and Fabius Bile.

Just hate to see it when the Medkit ######### up so bad it goes Mediterranean
My autocorrelation is absolutely abysmal.
-
Well, much like adding small passives to Survivors, it would force a Survivor Meta, rather than a perk one.
I also have the issue on "basic" perks, those ones that are shared with every character. NoED is probably the best example of this, and not turning this into a discussion on it's design as a perk, but it too strong for what it is and it's also just annoying to face.
-
It's an Ultra-Rare Add-On for the Mediterranean. It heals you one state if you aren't hit for, I believe, 16 seconds.
Or the end of the game happened and the perk Adrenaline kicked in.

The only change I would do is instead of using Visionary use Deja Vu. This will at least prevent your team from giving the killer a close 3-gen near the end of the game.
Also just my personal opinion but if you're gonna use Open Handed I would strongly recommend Kindred. With the 8 meters added from Open Handed, Kindred will allow you to see the aura of the killer 24 meters away from the survivor on the hook. It will also help give your team a lot of information if you play on solo queue. Hope this helps.
Agreed on Kindred. Campers have learned the range of Kindred, so adding those extra couple of meters will throw them off.

4 killer objectives in a nutshell:
- defend gens (totally not in the killers hands)
- hooks n kills (it takes points away, if survivors escape your grasp or get up from dying. With the DS/Unbreakable meta...)
- run in circles (ironically the longer you run, the more points you get)
- spam m1 (if you use m2 to down survivors, or by a miracle manage to grab a survivor, you won´t get points/less points)
4 survivor objectives in a nutshell:
- hold m1 (gens)
- hold m1 (heals)
- run in circles (maybe the points were switched with the killers objective, and no one noticed)
- spam ctrl at the exit gate
Ok, so not everyone teabags at gates. Shock and horror, I know.
Some of us also have different crouch functions. I happen to have LT for my crouch.
Generators are also controlled by the killer more than you let on.

I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true oh
All I want for Christmas is you
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need, and I
Don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
I won't ask for much this Christmas
I won't even wish for snow, and I
I just wanna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake
To hear those magic reindeer click
'Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding on to me so tight
What more can I do
Oh, Baby all I want for Christmas is you
All the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won't you bring me
The one I really need
Won't you please bring my baby to me quickly
I don't want a lot for Christmas
This is all I'm asking for
I just wanna see my baby
Standing right outside my door
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
All I want for Christmas is you, baby

Cause exhaustion perks aren't skillful? I find this heavily offensive :/
Never said they weren't! I use them myself all the time!
Just that playing without one can easily be considered a huge disadvantage by some people.
I've even made it to rank 10 recently on a secondary account without an exhaustion perk
-
If it maxes out BP but not the emblem, then it'll be fine.
-
Now do that with a killer who doesn't have mobility and an instant down, THEN let's see how you feel.
-
If they're all red and you aren't playing a meta killer and perks, then it'll seem like they're a hit-squad. They probably aren't.
Still, it is really annoying. Just keep at it and play for fun, or play some survivor for a bit.
-
Someone at work told me that I look like Post Malone.

Used to watch the channel quite a bit, but it dropped off my YT feed a while ago. Hadn't hit subscribed for whatever reason, so that's probably got something to do with it.

One of its abilities or perks would have to be acid blood, which would give the survivor a delayed injury every 3-5 pallet stuns or after a DS. Maybe the injury occures 20-45 sec after it triggers? Maybe they have an opportunity to do something to "cleanse" it before it triggers, like infection?
Maybe, but having it trigger on DS would also encourage toxic play and people deliberately trying to proc DS. It turns it into a win-win for the killer. Free hook because no DS, or perk activates.

Dang, well that sucks to hear. Nice to hear you aren't toxic because you don't want to be though.
I've had a significant amount of bad things happen to me that I don't wish on others. That's all it is.
-
You will die a lot, or you will get no kills at first on either side. That is how the game goes. This game rewards consistent play and learning.
That being said, escaping/killing is not everything. Pay attention to the emblem system.
For Survivors, I recommend levelling up Dwight or Claudette first. Dwight has teamwork feats, so Bond and Prove Thyself are the go. Bond will find you other survivors to heal you and Prove Thyself is great for working on generators with multiple survivors. Claudette has healing perks, so Self-Care CAN help you if nobody is around, especially with Botany Knowledge and Empathy can also be good to find healing targets or see where the killer is on the map roughly.

Wow, are most people really like that? lol wow that is just stupid. I get pretty upset sometimes in this game but I don't end up being toxic to the other side after a bad game. I always think of the possible baby survivors who are still inexperienced to calm me down or just take a break from the game.
It is possible. Or what happens is what happened with me.
I was literally camped out of the game for literally my first match. Bastard literally stared me in the eye as I hung on the hook until I died. My first thought was "Well, great. So this is the game?" and I almost quit there and then.
I now go out of my way to avoid playing in a manner at all toxic. Zero camping, zero tunnelling. The only time I have done so was recently after an extensive match on Mother's Dwelling, to which I apologised for afterwards. It was the final two, and that survivor ran at me. I'd had enough and needed to end it.

Alien would make for a cool chapter for sure! Doesn´t even need to be Sevastopol station, the Nostromo would to, too.
Maybe the colony from Aliens. Half indoor, half outdoor. Around the Dropship even. No Newt as the survivor though. Kids and all that.
-
Warrior form Xenomorph, maybe even a Praetorian skin for it. Definitely not a Queen form.
Dunno about power, but probably a movement/stealth option.
Mori would use the toothed "tongue" to burst open Survivor's heads, just like in the movies.
You could even get Amanda Ripley as the Survivor, have it be the Alien: Isolation chapter, on board the space ship.

Well yes, but would you rather more than one person suffer or just one so that everyone can move on to the next game though? It sucks, but if people started to do this every time a killer camped then the number of campers would decrease. I hope at least.
I'd rather people just stop playing for the night if they don't want to actually play.
EVERYONE suffers against campers!

Well, camping to secure a kill with as little effort as possible sounds like trying to win. I also don't think it should be nerfed.
Little effort is the key. Everyone else EARNS their escape/kills.
It's also be the guy in hook punished because THE KILLER couldn't be bothered to put in the effort. If everyone else rushes generator, the one camped still loses out entirely.
-
Play Claudette and actually be able to sneak past them. Tunnels in no time flat!
-
Warhammer 40,000. I have about 10 armies and over 30,000 points divided amongst just over 850 models amongst the ones I have built and painted. An average sized game is around 1,000-2,000 points and depending on the army features about 30-70 models, but it can go higher.
Shotokan karate and kickboxing.
Used to play bass guitar, but it's been a while.
Used to play Magic the Gathering, but now it's the occasional game of Commander. Force of Will is also another card game that I play.
DnD/Pathfinder when I can get a game organised.
-
Overwatch did a similar thing to their game with players from the Overwatch league. It destroyed the game's balance where the top players had balance but nobody else did.
Rank 1 is different to Rank 5, even though those players may clash. Rank 5 is different to 10. Each colour and even region has its own meta.
