Is finger point tech bannable?

So basically, if the killer is chasing you into the exit gates, you can start the pointing emote, and if the killer hits you during the emote animation, you can immediately start crawling (avoiding the stun that survivors usually have when entering dying state). This tech can sometime let you escape the trial, barely. Is this bannable?

  • most likely not, but i'd be careful if I were you

  • So the time needed to point couldnt be used to exit normally? LOL

    1. If they did not stop to point, they would likely exit anyway.

    2. The time before crawl is measured from the moment of impact with killer. The point emote continues, thus taking up the time before crawl. This gives an illusion that the survivor was able to avoid that moment of stun. They do not..

My son and I just ran several tests on this in KYF and found no true difference between the moment the killer struck and the moment the survivor could crawl. It is merely an animation change.

i saved my friend with this once, recently in fact. He was slugged at the exit gates, so i was healing him so freddy couldnt pick him up. I predicted when freddy was going to swing at me and start pointing. Freddy hits me and im able to rotate and move around immediately, even though i just entered dying state. We both made it out of the gates. You will look like you are sliding around during the pointing animation.

the tech gives you tiny bit of extra distance. It saved me once. The guy smacked me when i was like 5ft from the exit, but since i was pointing i was able to make a tiny bit extra crawling distance than if i wasnt. Its a very small increase, but its there.

  • Is everything a tech now? I'm actually crying at this holy ######### it's such a dumb thing to ask if it's bannable. The survivors would've got out anyway even if this pointing thing actually does anything

    No, this is not bannable.

  • Why is this exploit in particular not, but when killers have an exploit with nurse, that is bannable?

Every survivor exploit is never bannable, but all the killer ones tend to be. Why is that?

Sometimes you need to play it safe rather than sorry, it did cost me the game one time where the animation prevented me from crawling out and the EGC sacrificed me. 😕

Lol comparing this to the nurse exploit.🤡

Because having Nurse move at the speed of light or never being able to mend against Legion is different to survivors cutting out a small stun.
