It's literally impossible to go a full game without 1 survivor being seen all game. How does the survivor fail if the game is designed for a killer to majority succeed in a chase? The survivor doesn't fail cause he gets hook camped. That's not his fault for getting camped. That's trash ish
So in your opinion, a survivor doesn't fail if he fails at stealth and can't win a chase? Alright, so what does constitute failure on the survivor side, in your opinion?

Right, you'd need to DC like 70% of your games to get a softban. So unless you're a known rage quitter you'll be fine.
It's amazing how you know that percentage even though no percentage has been stated. Funny enough, it's also the same percentage that was claimed when the threshold was higher than it is now.

So basically all im seeing is fk the guy that got caught in the beginning posts. Lol that's awesome. I didnt say anything about oh just gen rush and 3 have a chance to get out excluding not having to deal with hex no ed. I just said the survivor that gets 1st hook camped just gets fked but the killer. I just think the killer should get punished just as much as him
Why should the killer be punished because the survivor failed?

Same, I want a guarantee not a chance.
Pretty sure you'll be able to buy skins from the Battle Pass on an individual basis, assuming it comes out. It'd be silly to do otherwise, since you'll end up spending more money on the game that way.

@Orion I completely agree. I think it's stupid but I DEFINITELY won't be pressured into buying it, that's a bit strange. Although, again, some people will be.
How's it even pressuring anyone, though? I don't feel pressured to buy their skins. I think most of them range from "unsightly" to "downright fugly". The only thing they all have in common is that they're absurdly expensive. If I were still streaming regularly and getting a ######### ton of donations, I'd consider putting that money into the few skins I actually like, but using my own money to buy completely optional things that I think are overpriced? Hell no.

@Orion Goods themselves, maybe not, but whenever when something's on sale? 2 for one bargains? A price that's 9.99 instead of 10? You bet your arse its psychological.
And please don't be stupid with me, Orion. All people got a limit to how much they can resist before they fall victim to these things. That slow withering down of one's mental state, in order to make people open their wallets and spend.. Its sick.
Alright, I'm going to tell you a big secret that "They" don't want you to know.
There is no big conspiracy to "wither down one's mental state". All there is, is companies using tactics that work to sell things because many people just can't say no. They have no impulse control. They have no self-control. They don't think before making a choice. And then they blame "Them" for their own bad decisions, like they're victims of anything other than their own lack of discipline.
Do you know what I do when I see an item on sale? A 2-for-1 deal? A €9,99 item? Absolutely ######### nothing. I don't need nor want that item on sale. I don't care if it's a 2-for-1 deal because I either only need the one or don't need it at all. €9,99? Too expensive - most of the miscellaneous crap I buy costs less than half of that per unit, and even then I weigh the pros and cons.
You want to know what's actually ######### people over financially and they have no control over? The hyper-accumulation of wealth, which always leads to major economical catastrophes. Well, unless the governments get the stooges (that would be everyone who's not in the 1%, if you're keeping up) to pay for it. And they do, which just perpetuates the cycle.
People having no self-control, however, is their own fault. Stop blaming someone else for the decisions you make.
I'm fairly neutral in this Battle Pass discussion - I think it's stupid, but I don't really care one way or the other - but your attempts to shift the blame for the financial decisions that people make is absurd.

@I_Eat_Worms Its not about being able to afford or not, its about developers and companies using psychological triggers to make players spend more money.
The fear of missing out on stuff and the feeling of not wanting to leave things unfinished are two things that's part of a battle pass, free or not, and both are there to psychologically force players to participate. Its literally mental abuse.
Stop promoting this madness! Stop normalizing it!
By that logic, the creation of goods for sale is mental abuse.

they are going to take content creators in hostage with battlepass forcing them to buy it even theyr don't want to because if they don't buy it they will loose followers and if streamers don't buy it they will loose followers as well so it's kinda illegal to do this btw they are a quebec compagny and they don't even know laws lol
Really? Holding hostage?
Which laws does a Battle Pass break, exactly? Give me specific laws, not just generalized statements.

True, but the point is to make BHVR look bad. If OP had told the truth, it wouldn't be as bad.

@[Deleted User] said:
I'm getting the distinct feeling we're not getting the whole story from the OP...
That's usually how it is from people who were banned.
Banned for being toxic in the post-game chat? Say you were just using your free speech to tell the killer/survivors they played poorly.
Banned for exploiting? Say it's BHVR's fault for including them.
Banned for DCing? Claim it's acceptable.
-
@BBQnDemogorgon said:
@Sairek Hardly though...
You have to quit a ridiculous amount...
These people wouldn't be doing it if they were actually getting their temp bans...
@Bbbrian2013 Why do you think complaints have spiked all of a sudden? My guess is, after the devs lowered the threshold, more DCers are getting banned.

For example: I keep DC'ing because I have an old crummy copper wire ADSL1 internet connection.
Not every DC situation warrants a ban.
Then you shouldn't play online multiplayer games if your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

if you like stupid analogy's here's one!
lets say your at a restaurant
and this restaurant has had a problem with people dine and dashing
so you have to pay before you get your food
lets say you order a dish that takes forever to prepare
and the chief is in a bad mood and takes it out on you
he takes the money then tells you to get out
and for the appeal:
to find out what you can do to make things right they tattoo the words go ######### yourself on your forehead
Funny how your analogy leaves out the part where you broke the rules you agreed to when you joined the game in such a way that you are detrimental to everyone else who's also playing the game.
-
@crazychickenYT said:

so its illegal to go for dinner? i only left wrongfully 4 times which was when i was new and sucked
You said you disconnected twenty-five times. After the first two, you should've learned when not to play the game because you'd need to go for dinner later.
-
@crazychickenYT said:
also, i get turning of the wifi or shutting down your system doesnt get effected but to be honest, its better to go through that instead of having a GET BANNED button directly in the game
plus with all my DLC i got plus my under 100 hours i got scammed basically. and now i only have watching panda and monto playing a game i want to play
If you go to an airport, get on a plane, then punch another passenger before take off, they're gonna kick you out of the plane (probably arrest you) and fly without you.
You didn't get scammed, you were rightfully punished for breaking the rules you agreed to follow when you bought and started playing the game.

@crazychickenYT said:
i only dced like 25 times plus i want opinions on removing the button not mocking me for being banned, even if its scummy to dc when i need to leave is it as bad as DBD taking around $120+ from me?
BTW i only DCed in a salty manner 4 times
My opinion is that removing the button is a bad move, since there are times when you will need to DC for legitimate reasons. If people abuse it, however, they should be banned. And maybe people who're banned for DCing should've known that every single game ever has penalties for DCing. If DbD is their first online multiplayer game, then they should've read the rules.
-
It's a combination of the EGC (expected, survivors are the only ones who've ever review bombed the game) and people who expect to be pros at a game after 0,1 hours.
-
There is no way for you to affect the matchmaker, nor should there ever be one.

Candyman, obviously.

Yea and people here will defend this behavior! Like it's very obvious when someone is targeting you and when they are just a tunnely/campy killer. If they are a tunnely/campy they will do it to everyone. If they are targeting you they do stuff like break a chase clear across the map to come after you, or will do something that will cost them the game just to get you, game after game. It's very obvious and blatant.
Ignore the naysayers and report the harassers. It's the same when killers complain about survivors being toxic in the post-game chat.

They would need to nerf billy before adding an ultra rare addon (likely) and Nurse would need a full rework before adding it. Nurse with ultra rare addon would end in so many disconnects lmao
Ultra Rare add-ons don't have to be new, they can just convert existing add-ons into ultra rares.
-
Other than the insane number of suggestions I've made over the years, I'd like to get Candyman in the game, preferrably voiced by Tony Todd.

oh really , and survivors can easily call for perks like Noed, rancor, spirit fury etc to be used only twice match. Self care has already been nerfed, I play both killer and survivor so please just stop all the complaining on survivor perks when we all know good and dam well all killer perks are op. 👋🏾
Except that NOED, Rancor, Spirit Fury, etc., all have mechanical counters (meaning, without requiring the use of other perks). For NOED, break the totems. For Rancor, get in a locker at the end and then leave ASAP. For Spirit Fury, drop pallets early.

Okay, now you people are getting way too defensive. It makes mo sense for survivors to be staggered when killers aren't.
Killers are supernaturally empowered by the Entity. If you want to argue sense, it makes no sense that survivors are still alive after being hit with a chainsaw.

You shouldn't have messaged the admin. The less information they have about you, the better.

Mildly off topic, but a realism game mode would be interesting.
Only for the very top survivors. Everyone else would hate it because it'd basically be a slaughterfest.
-
@thrawn3054 said:
Killers not being staggered from falls make no sense.
If you want realism, let's have all survivors take only one hit to be put in the dying state. Chainsaws are instant death. No more hooks - killers can kill survivors on the spot. No more on-hit sprint burst. No more killer slow after an attack.
Need I go on?

Just because you know how to use the nurse doesn't mean you're gonna 4k every round I don't care how good you are , the right survivors with the right game plan could run all over you in a match and it's 100% possible, everyone has a weakness in their gameplay somewhere and nobody is perfect EVERY game .
That's the point. Survivors just DC because they're not willing to put any effort into learning weaknesses in gameplay.

Can't, the window blinds are defective. But like I said in the OP, even under ideal lighting conditions, Haddonfield is very dark.

Every killer, without exception, has been called broken. Therefore, I can only conclude you don't want to face any killer, so why are you even still playing?

It is a downside, its hard to win if you mori everyone. You may not consider piping to be winning but that's the games definition of winning.
But that aside they are busted as hell, moris in general are. If survivors had an equivalent it would be starting the trial with generators already completed.
That's not even remotely equivalent to a Memento Mori. A Memento Mori doesn't instantly kill survivors for you when the trial starts.

@TWiXT said:
I have a Nagging suspicion that the "Drama" and "Cries" the devs mentioned for the 3 year anniversary livestream are probably going to be nerfs to Nurse, Billy, Perks, add-on's etc... so you can quote me if this is the case on the 31st.
If that's the case, I'm sure many people will uninstall the game. Some toxic people may celebrate that, but it will be a severe detriment to the game.
-
@xChrisx said:
Everyone is tired of this broken unfun and unfair "killer"
More people are tired of unfun trials caused by people disconnecting than they are of any particular killer. And just for the record, every single killer, without exception, has been called "broken", "unfun", and "unfair". So maybe the problem is you.

true but when people DC just by hearing you that is not ok.
That's why I incentivize people to play the killers that survivors like that DC against, so they can be banned for DCing too much and the game can be all the better for it.

Then you haven't really been paying attention. Here are a few:
Don't equip bright skins or prestige, don't play Claudette, don't use items.
-
If you're gonna do this, at least pick things that people actually say. Only the first three survivor rules are actually things that some survivors say. The other two, along with the five killer rules, are not said by anyone.

True it gets annoying when you can't play a certain killer because some people refuse to play against it though.
Don't take add-ons or offerings and just embrace the free BP.
