I wish there is a training mode for all killers. It doesn't have to have bots, just put static survivors in there and let me practice my power.
What I do when I practice new killers even against good survs is just downing them and letting them wiggle out. Only going for chases until I feel confident enough to play normally.
Until then I don't take the game seriously.
And here I just put on NOED when im learning killers.

I like this game generally and have been playing it for years but It's so hard for me to play killer when my first game as Huntress has me going against 4 survivors all using DS, Unbreakable, BT, and Dead Hard with thousands of hours. I like the idea of MMR just not when it's practically impossible to learn new killers. If the matchmaking was more forgiving I'd want to play killer so much more but I just have to stick with survivor for now.
Basement Huntress with exhaust hatchets can help alleviate your problems.
Sometimes I don't even fight the horrible balance of the game anymore. If I am on some dumpster tier killer and the game is like "here's your sweaty 4 man" I usually just facecamp the 2k or dodge. 2k is the target balance right? Beats having to sweat for it, easier to camp at 5 gens. The devs have released the stats on how busted SWF is so no reason to get upset about it.
All you can do is play top tier killers with meta builds. Me? I have played so much Nurse when I started DbD I never want to play her again. I get more enjoyment basementing people anyways, even if it's not always super viable.

So the game spawns 23-24 god pallets and that isn't an exaggeration to you? Yikes.
BT/DS only works if the killer is at the hook, you will never see them if you aren't camping. Also, hey are a deterrent to the Killer's attempt to gain free pressure. It isn't based on survivor's "poor" play.
Your philosophy/breakdown of this game is quite amusing actually.
I am not even gonna argue if you sit here and tell me that map is fine. Lmao.
I really wanna see you follow you own advice playing a low tier killer into a some good 3-4 man meta SWFs. Post the results back here. I bet you get your 3-4 hooks and some gg ez's in the post game.
But you won't. Survivor mains won't accept the truth, that they will get whooped following their own advice. Or they just spam nurse. "I don't camp and tunnel and im a Nurse/Blight main!"
Pretty cringe tbh. They know they are not good enough at this game to handle killer at a high level.

Right lol 2 circles of healing , 2 dead hards، 3 iron will , map offering , higher mmr and skill swf bullies .. How entitled these survivor mains are ? Like literally 1 kill and they'd complain about it like #########? I chased everyone like a maniac and got bullied doing it.
That's why I say camp and tunnel as much as you want. I have extensive experience in this game and I will tell you that playing for 12 hooks is a total waste of your time. Tunnel people out with the Nurse, it's the new meta. Or just camp with Bubba, I like that since it denies them unhooks and tanks their altruism.

Love when people make the most exaggerated comments as if it's going to be taken any more serious or something.
I can do it too:
Go for 1,5000 slow down perks, while camping and tunneling 20 survivors, and having to cleanse 10 No Eds. Just do bones silly. 🙄
Yeah, see, the only thing being my comment isn't an exaggeration lmao. Those numbers are accurate. Load into "The Game" and come back here and tell me how many safe god pallets there are. It's usually around 23-24. And what are BT/DS/UB/DH? Extra lives to compensate for poor survivor play. I can see them being needed against the top tier killers but for the other 20+ on the roster they are usually just a crutch.
-
@Johnny_XMan said:
Hmm, interesting how 3 people got out and the one survivor got merely 6k BPs. Normally that happens when the survivor was taken out of the game quickly.
Not saying you camped and tunneled (even after seeing they accused you of it) but I would have clicked too if I had to play against a boring playstyle.
Not throwing the game = boring playstyle. That's right killer, go for 12 equally distributed hooks in a game that lasts 4-5 minutes when the survivors can bring in ~16 extra lives and there can be 20+ safe pallets on some maps (wish I was joking!). Just play better, pressure gens.

People have claimed to on the forums.
As for the prototypical toxic survivors, just mute the endgame chat. Literally almost nothing good comes from it. You beat the survivors, it's a ghosttown or a bunch of crybabies. You lose, it's gg ez you are so bad etc etc. Unless you feel like arguing with people or want to respond to clear bait, it's not worth the time leaving it on. I leave my steam comments on if people wanna spew the salt there but I only review it periodically, usually days after the game has been played.

You need my Bubba treatment /s 🤣
If you get a team that splits up and does gens and isn't greedy he is not that hard to beat. But most of my games the people don't respect the purple chili and are still going down in the first chainsaw sweep which makes for really easy wins.
Plenty of maps are pallet-town and you will never chainsaw people in a reasonable timeframe unless they screw up severely. Good survivors can easily just feed him enough pallets to get 3 gens done and from there second chance perks carry them through the last 2.

I thought so, as I stated his greatest strength is being able to confirm kills via camping, but everything else he is either decent or mediocre at, he is a good killer, maybe above average, but too strong like people have been telling me.
He's only strong if you camp. Basement Bubba is overrated since he can camp any hook, basement isn't really needed tbh. 100% you should be running back to the hook to secure half states and kills, otherwise you are not playing him optimally.
Good survivors will never get 12 hooked by him since even the worst filler pallet is safe against the chainsaw and he doesn't have the mobility to get lots of pressure unless the survivors are dropping like flies.
All it takes to win is a survivor throwing some pallets at the start of the game while the team slams gen, then you lose. But if they go down like a noob you can camp them for a near free win. Obviously noobs will hate him.

It kind of depends on their tier list, I would argue, but generally speaking, yes... She is extremely overrated and the copium regarding her is relatively unprecedented.
She is Pyramid Head with extra steps. Nobody good is gonna get hit twice by long range birds, and even with DMS they can counter it by just letting go of the gen for a second and waiting for the birds after the hook.
Mid range you can make an argument she is good but it extremely difficult to land 2x mid range birds on a juking survivor. At close ranges Pyramid is strictly better and has no setup time.
-
Actually remove holding M1 they don't even have to do that anymore. Hit spacebar a few times*
-
It's not like the survivors even need skill half the time. Let's be real. Maybe if holding M1 and pre-dropping god pallets is skill.
The problem in this game is the maps. And after 6 years we are still getting maps like RPD where half the map is "here's this god pallet blocking the entire hallway"
But the game is balanced around solo Q and bad survivors. You are restricted to like 3 killers if you want to compete against a good SWF, and the game literally locks you into your doggo tier killer so you have to dodge if you realize you are gonna get the full crutch combo 4 man

I disagree. Now I do think that good killers prioritize chasing. And some killers do go out of their way to make sure that everyone gets a fair shot at playing the game, I do not think that is the norm or what should be expected. If a player is playing verses other players of similar skill then to win means taking every advantage. I personally do not play killers that lean into camping. Examples include Bubba, Trapper, Hag or Twins. But if I'm playing survivors who as good as me or better and I think that I can get an edge in the match through either camping or tunneling than I will. And I'm often punished for it by eating a DS. I also refuse to grab off hook. I'll hit the survivor with a basic hit and let the match continue. Grabbing off of hook is a stupid and boring mechanic that encourages face camping.
I will never understand the survivor entitlement in this game. I have all these people at the end of the game saying something like "wah wah I didn't have fun" when it's a PvP game.
How much do I ever care about the fun of the guy I'm shooting in an fps, or killing in a moba, or competing with in literally any other online game? The attitudes of this community are ludicrous. And somewhat funny since it does make it trivial to troll. DbD is the saltiest game hands down. A game like R6S people will be salty they lost but they won't be on the forums crying about getting shot lmfao

Meaningless changes that will only slightly help those killers in solo, and do nothing against SWF. The game needs a rework to not be survivor sided. There is too much wrong with it.
I wish they would just give us the ability to change killers back. It's not like the per-killer MMR does anything anyways, it just arbitrarily restricts the player.
It's not a huge deal since my Qs are literally instant most of the time but still. You join into a lobby with a 4 sweaty man that's gonna be sending you to a broken map, running every second chance in the book, and trying to get the gens done in 4 minutes and you really need the ability to change to Nurse/Blight/Spirit/etc.

It's surveillance + ruin in one perk. I think it's the best gen defense perk that has come out in ages. And it's consistent and not RNG based like PR. This site is pretty accurate with the ranking most of the time. It's only going to be good on killers who can play a gen defense game, not the killers who need to tunnel.

I really don't think that, and I enjoy some of the weaker killers/perks too in fact hysteria is one of my favourite perks, but I don't try to say they are strong because they aren't.
I have no problem with people enjoying something in dbd just don't make it seem better than it really is because most of the time it isn't.
I mean what else can I say? Literally hundreds of people agree with me on a polling website. Literally #3 best killer perk. Just because you can't see the value in it doesn't mean other people don't.
-
The survivors bring it on themselves imo. I did not start off DbD playing "toxic" but I certainly do now. Almost every time I go out of my way to spread damage I just get BMd for it.
Now I just hard tunnel / camp entire lobbies with Bubba / Pyramid Head and call it a day usually. King of Camp and King of Tunnel, why play anyone else? Even the games I lose I made the game miserable for the people who died so it's still not a total loss.
-
That's not who I would call a locker leech, that's the left behind key roaches like myself. Solo Q is waaay too painful for me to wanna go down with the ship every single time I get a bad team.
And i'm not even being super critical most of the time. I will get potato's getting 2 tapped by M1 killers on coldwind farm 20 seconds into the match and it completely saps my will to play survivor. How, how in the world am I getting these people on my team when MMR is supposed to be a thing.
And then the next game ill be the rando tacked onto a 3 man SWF and we finish all the gens in 4 minutes and the killer gets 1 hook.
It's so dumb. I would never play solo Q if the hatch didn't exist. It is an exercise in masochism. Maybe if the matchmaking actually worked I would take it a bit more seriously.

Yes, on rpd it is more difficult, but hardly requires ESP. yes it gives perfect information when you're close enough, doesn't do a thing to help you reach the window, just let's you know it's there. You should have a good sense of when you are running somewhere there are a bunch of broken pallets already from playing the game.
While it does work better in indoor maps (like rpd) as was stated, it still isn't overpowered. At best it gives you something to aim for while you run at the exact same speed already. It doesn't negate any other power or perk, certainly doesn't give the survivor any additional hardiness or speed, just takes a small amount (and really after the first year of playing it's a tiny amount) of randomness out of how you plan running away.
Even if the killer is undetectable the pallet makes noise when it breaks, and leaves bits on the ground.
I would feel differently if it provided more information, like if it included the location of gens, totems those would be OP, but windows and pallets are basic enough information that you should already learn.
I am not arguing it's OP. I am arguing it is a solid perk that can still be used by veteran players in solo Q.

I dunno which Sc I played back in the day. It was on ps2 I think, but I never tried multi. I'll check it out on yt.
Yeah it's not exactly the same since it was 2v2, but it's close. Agile, stealthy, relatively non-lethal players in 3rd person attempting to sneak past cumbersome lethal players in first person and do objectives.
The stealth was a lot more fleshed out and important in that one though, if the mercenary caught you out as a spy you were totally done for.

I loved spies vs. mercenaries in splinter cell chaos theory and this is basically the modern iteration of that. Hide and seek for adults never gets old.

Well I guess that person is psychic then. On some massive map like RPD you are never gonna keep track of what pallets have been used. They could go down ages away from where the chase started. They could have camped every pallet, or not used a single one. I already mentioned alert but it's not perfect information. The killer could be undetectable when they kicked the pallet. WoO is perfect information. It's that simple.

who said you dont combine erruption? I use it with pop so you actually dont waste any time at all since you anyway kick gens with pop. These perks support each other perfect.
You can also use it with call of brine ofc.
Sure it combo's with other things decently, but it still doesn't justify the slot to me. It's not a particularly powerful effect, nor is it interesting to me. I typically do 1-2 slowdown perks and then 1-2 information / utility / meme perks.
A perk like Hex Plaything is infinitely more fun for me to use. Not only is it a huge timesink since you get 4 totems, which the survivor could spend a solid minute finding, but there's also added slowdown from them sometimes being too scared to move around the map quickly. I think getting plaything'd against a Bubba is butt clenching on a ton of maps. That's like peak slowdown perk to me.
A slowdown like DMS, where it just mindlessly blocks the gen, is really effective but a snoozefest. I try not to stack them in my builds because then im just playing base kit killer with no fun interactions in the game from my perks.
-
@BenZ0 said:

you are brushing off everything way too easy my friend.
And no erruption is not dog tier, its close to many other anti gen meta perks, it just requires planning and brain to use (Not saying you dont have a brain, 99% of the players all say erruption is #########).
Going out of my way, spending killer time to kick gens for potentially 16 seconds of slowdown isn't worth the perk slot. Especially if I am giving up a chase to do it.
Pop gets me 20 seconds and allows me to save the gens I want. Call of Brine could be getting me like 30-40 seconds sometimes. Ruin could be winning me the entire game if it stays up. If some miracle happens and I get two survivors Erupted at the same time it's ~30 seconds of gen slowdown. It's really not that good.
If I could ever get Eruption to work, other slowdown perks probably would have served me better. And I don't mind running off meta perks, but Eruption is a boring slowdown and if you are running a boring slowdown you might as well use the best ones.

Pain resoance incentivizes you to play "normal" and nice. You want to get as much hooks as posssible, some ppl say you want to camp there which isnt true, I played alot with scrouched hooks and rarely had situations where I had to stick with that 1 hook, I always have on all maps most of the times a hook close enough.
You could also take many other perks like erruption that wants you to patrol gens more rather to go for chases only, make your choice, pop, ruin.
There are more perks out there honestly that help with more healthy gameplays.
Pain Resonance is RNG and not reliable enough for me to want to take it seriously. It's nice when it works but I have too many games where the area I am downing people at doesn't have them. Indoor maps it might as well not be a perk half the games. If I want to gamble on RNG I will go all the way and bring hex totems.
Eruption is dog tier. Pop / Ruin go just as well with camping and tunneling as they do playing nice. MYC only works on a small subset of killers.
Devour is probably the closest thing to a viable "nice" build but then you are a glass RNG cannon and totally fall apart when it gets cleansed 3-4 hooks in.
Some maps are completely busted and if you are trying to go for 12 hooks against people hugging a main building with a straight up god window (why BHVR keeps adding them in after going through all the trouble to get rid of them a few years ago is beyond me) it's an auto loss.
-
@Adaez said:
Hexes are rng and can be permanently destroyed while boons always give you all the value and can be infinitely used.
Sounds fair.
Not a good comparison, but I will agree CoH is overtuned. The other boons are mostly fine although shadowstep can be kinda broken sometimes.
A hex like devour is just a straight up game ender. Blood favor is completely free downs. Ruin can extend the game 10 fold. Crowd control makes looping extremely difficult while it is active. Plaything is incredible on certain kills and maps.
Pentimento can also be a game ender in theory although people are too focused on getting to 5 stacks when in reality keeping 1 stack up 5 times is better than attempting to get all 5 at once. 30% gen slowdown is all it needs to do.

Agree that is also a huge topic.
Especially small pp 4 anti gen builds.
I camp and tunnel almost every game. Unless it's such a stomp that I can afford to spread the damage around and farm some BP.
It is a shame there are not too too many perks that incentivize you to play "nice". No way out is probably the closest thing we have right now, unless you are starved for BP and need BBQ stacks. Grim embrace seems pretty doggo tier in comparison.
Unfortunately my experience has been that if you play for hooks, survivors will usually just try and bully you for it. That's when you get the guys running over to force DS and teabagging at every pallet and thus and such. And after some point you just stop caring and go tunnel everyone into the floor.
It's like I can go get 9 hooks, 1 kill, and get BMed at the exit gate for playing nice. Or I can get 9 hooks, 3 kills, and a ton of salty survivors crying in the endgame chat about tunneling. Those are my options. People still go out of their way to complain even when you spread damage and play for hooks, you don't really get any extra gg's unless you are a huntress main doing that or something.

Also up to at least 2 hours of footage I have seen people deadhard to dodge hits and not get distance, no team forcing a fountain reset and even survivors getting mindgamed on cowshed, I literally could make a case on how thana is OP based on the same video.
Well that's NA east. That's what you get out there. I don't need to convince you lmao. You think it's a surprise weaker killers are going to lose to good players regardless of the perk setup?

Is it the information or just the confidence to go with the route that subconsciously you already know is there?
Here's my position. These maps aren't all that different. If you got Midwitch, for example, you know there are going to be a couple classrooms on the 2nd floor linked with a window. On Leary's you know there's the upstairs, ring around the observation deck and down loop, etc.
The actual map variations aren't huge, and as you play your mind will get used to and notice where windows and pallets generally spawn. That's why I don't think it's an OP perk, because at best, it's giving you information that you'd get on your own without it, perhaps with the added confidence that you are remembering correctly. I put it in the same category as Detective's Hunch. Once you learn the spawn points and conditions of the thing you are trying to track, the slot can definitely be put to better use
I don't agree with that at all. Outside of voice comms or Alert, you have no idea what pallets have been used or not. You can know the tiles all you want, but you might be running straight to a tile where that pallet has long been dropped. Against some killers you just go down for that mistake instead of take a damage state. It's super useful in solo Q even for veteran players.
-

But he's here to stay with his lil glow bat and sparkle knives, so you just play it out and move on to the next game like anything else, it doesn't really matter in the long run.
I mean we got Oni, Onryo, Spirit already. I think a super villain is fine. People complaining about immersion clearly must forget about all the dwelfs and other meme costumes the survivors have. It's not any worse than those, and it's not like anyone is immersed who has played the game a long time.

No way he got 50 wins in a row against competent, organized survivors. All it takes is facing 1 good team to take away your streak. The game doesn't give you a win as killer just because you played well enough. The survivors have to make mistakes.
Well he is at a 101 streak with clown. There were definitely plenty of SWFs in there, and he doesn't lobby dodge unless it's a hacker.
You could argue it's not max MMR but if you are going on 100+ streaks idk how you would ever not be at max MMR.
If you are going to argue based off an ultra coordinated tournament team, which isn't realistic at all, then sure maybe it's not viable. But let's be real, if you can win 49 of 50 games using a 3 gen defense build centered around call of brine that's just results. It doesn't matter if you can't take it into a tournament team because you are not going up against tournament teams. Those guys typically play in private matches and not public ones.

Lol. 3-genning isn't "back" because it hasn't been viable in forever. Bad solos lose to it, sure. But what about SWF, or just survivors with brains? When the killer is 3-genning, which is the survivors' own fault, and there's no pallets around that area, also the survivors' own fault, all they have to do is push 2 gens at once, and when the killer is coming their way hold W. The gens are never THAT close to each other, and as soon as you get close to 1 gen, the other gen will start getting worked on. You're also assuming that your killer can instadown, in which case the survivors should be playing even safer, and when you're not an instadown killer, they can just take a hit, run away, and heal which is super easy now because of CoH. And because survivors can progress gens faster than you can regress them, they always should win the war of attrition which is central to the 3-gen strategy's design. Even in 3v1s, the survivors can overcome a 3-gen. It's just that they'll get punished harder for someone getting downed and hooked, which they should be avoiding at all costs anyway when they see the killer is 3-genning. You're probably also assuming that the gens are always all at 0 when the 3-gen is first created, or that some kind of significant gen regression (which isn't really a thing) is still in play for the killer, like Ruin or something. Call of Brine is just Ruin but you have to drop chase and waste time kicking for it to do anything, and then the survivors can just tap it to stop the regression. Yeah, you'll get a notification when they hit a skill check, but by the time you get back there either noteworthy progress has already been made an that gen, or the survivors come while your back's turned and work on the other gen. Survivors literally have no less control in a 3-gen than they do in a regular scenario.
Sorry to rail so hard against this, but I'm kind of tired of people pretending that we're still living in 2018 where people not only played worse, but they didn't even have a name for 3-gens, and probably never created them intentionally. Do y'all never experience any of the exceptions I've listed above when you're trying to 3-gen, or do the survivors just like making it easy on you? Sure, you're not going to face a team competent enough to beat a 3-gen every time, that's not what I'm saying. But you will face them at some point. If you're winning as much with 3-gens, every time or almost every time as you claim, your MMR will be raised enough to at least semi-regularly face the survivors that do exactly what I've said above.
I said on killers who can down people easily in a deadzone. I do it on Plague and Bubba, both of whom are ridiculous at it.
You want to see a stream of a guy who goes on 50+ winstreaks using call of brine at max MMR? I will link it to you. I don't need to sit here and argue with you when the evidence it works is right in front of my face and is recorded for all to see. If 50+ wins in a row isn't viable, I don't know what is.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
Wrong. Camp and tunnel the absolute poo out of the first survivor you find, while aggressively 3 genning if it was available. Especially since you had endfury, a solid tunneling combo.
The rest of your build isn't optimal for it but you could have easily secured a 2k. Surge is a joke, PR is a joke without other supporting perks.
-
Total snoozefest to play, even if she is strong. You basically have to main her, and why do that in a game with 20+ killers? I started on her way back in the day but eventually moved to being a toxic Wraith.

Bubba best maps are The Game and Lerys, however Lerys stands up.
People are afraid of windows when they should not be. In general a loop that has a window is bad for you, Lerys provides close up tiles with many windows and door openings, while the survivor can chain the windows on Lerys you can do the same and with the help of a few mindgames (e.g moonsaw, chainsaw reverse) you can get the downs easily.
Many pallets on Lerys are unsafe and those who are not cannot be chained for a long period of time giving you an ability for bruteforcing
(And no, I am not baiting, even though you may find hard to believe this).
To provide some evidence of my words, you can have a look here
Lery's maybe, but The Game? Gonna hard disagree there. A good survivor can easily just feed you god pallets for a minute and that's the first 3 gens done.
I wanna say it's Wreckers Yard, with the central basement being a threat for a ton of generators. Maybe you could argue one of the 3 gen maps (Azarovs resting place, suffo pit, etc) too.
Lery's only if you have the right perks for it (not the clickbait build shown above).

If you are not getting salt as killer, you are not doing your job

It's not good on its own, and it should probably be part of the base game for killer.
It literally brought the 3 gen strat back. People who think it is bad are baby killers. You clear out the pallets on a killer who can down people quickly in a deadzone and it's lights out for 90% of solo Q teams.

Stealth killer main turned indoor map enjoyer here. Lery's is actually the best and most balanced map in the game.
The extreme RNG ensures looping is different every single time, unlike static tiles on most maps. The atmosphere is claustrophobic, and makes certain killer perks like Hex: Plaything terrifying to even the most seasoned survivors.
Totem spawns range between very difficult and easy, making totems a pretty viable option for the gambling killers.
It is one of the few bastions of horror left in the game for veterans.
Sincerely - Tinkerer Bubba main

You are looking at it with a strong killer bias. Plaything is a slowdown perk giving killers a very strong advantage. CoH is nothing more than a healing perk and actually requiring finding a totem (not doing the objective) to get advantage from it. Killers are actually getting advantage from their perk normally from simply playing the game normally, which is extremely easy to do. It makes the killer much stronger without doing anything extra.
CoH requires finding a totem, then spending a lot of time blessing it. Plaything is stronger than CoH when looking at effort required from all parties involved.
Of course Plaything is stronger than CoH. CoH is 1 perk of 16.
"Nothing more than a healing perk" when healing is survivors #2 objective / timesink behind generators. I have watched so many teammates just go find my CoH and heal at it without me needing to do anything. I could just sit on generators the entire time, only a troll would sit here and argue it's not good.
But now that call of brine can basically give killers unlimited generator time with proper play, im actually OK with CoH giving survivors unlimited fast self heals.

I've been "losing" my 20 recent Matches as Killer by going for a 8 Hook Trials or just making sure everyone escape.
I've been rotating my Killers but still at least I have 3 Matches each on 8 Killers (Pyramid Head, Xenobyte, Pig, Nemesis, Clown, Billy, Demo and Freddy). Mind you after my 20 "Loss" Matches of making sure Survs can escape and I have like 6-8 Hooks. My matches are still full of Meta Surv Perks that can actually loop and 5 Minute matches where Survivors let Teammates die because they're busy doing Gens. It's still so boring it amazes me.
Uhhh, never. MMR doesn't exist at night when the survivor Qs are so backed up.

That is amazingly satisfying as well, I don't play tombstone Myers enough actually
There is something hilarious about seeing a survivor doing that typical spin + click they like to do while trying to 360 a killer; and then you just grab them and murder them lmao
Sometimes they get super cocky while you are breaking the safe pallets still, thinking that you are struggling to down them or something
-
Tombstoning a clicky clicky teabagger is probably it for me. Keep clicking that flashlight, you'll be dead soon.

Yeah all those things were kinda broken. Thankfully outside of MDR DCB Spirit is more than fine now.
Well the game wasn't as balanced as it is now. Not that I think it's super balanced but certainly more than back then. Stridor didn't need to get nerfed though, since I actually liked using that sometimes on killers that were not Spirit.
Spirit was actually too easy most of the time, since you could change killers in the lobby back then I usually reserved her for ebony mori'ing 4 stacks or TTVs. You would get the 4 stack SWFs back then sending you to pre-rework Ormond, probably the most survivor sided map in DBDs history, with like 3x toolboxes and a key. So if you didn't tunnel mori them they basically escaped after like 2-3 minutes. That was when I brought spirit with an Ebony because she was one of the few killers who could actually beat it.
But playing her against solo Q was so easy it was boring, similar to how I felt about Nurse before her rework.

I’m sorry 😂

I wouldn’t say base Spirit was ever a free win but PBB with Yakuyoke Amulet and the right perks certainly was against most groups.
Well that was back in the days I was spamming Ebony Mori's on her too. I honestly could not remember ever really losing with that.
I liked the original green charge speed addon + the purple lunge addon. That one was so strong before it's first nerf and you basically got a hit at any short loop if they stayed at it for more than a second or two. Almost Nurse levels of strong.
70% MDR was also just outright broken, lol
-
I used it quite a bit, and usually with a gen grab build. Almost a free win but then again spirit in general was almost a free win back then anyways. Her lunge / speed / charge speed add-ons were way more busted imo, especially on release.
