In what place is 80-89% considered average? either this place has lots of big brains, or this school is extremely easy so everyone scores high
I was confused by both this and the mention of multiple choice, the only time I can recall a multiple choice question on a test that reflected on any grades, was 2 questions on Construction Studies in Secondary School, so I dont see how getting lucky on a small portion of questions would net 70-79%

Every Jane Ive seen was either full meta or full meme, so I dont know how that coincides with those tiers

Someone would be mad because it's a paid doc! Having the anti momentum benefits makes the perk better and worth being paid for. It's been in the shrine 11 times but guess what. What if in working or in school or just not playing the game. I've only seen DS in the shrine once playing.
I've missed all those other ones. It's not needed all the time but the majority if the killer finds out you dont have it they will tunnel. You can keep trying to defend this way of playing or defend the fact they are gonna kill this perk, then kill more survivor tools. It is gonna be patch 2.0 all over again.
Getting tunneled out is not fun that's why you need it to have fun. No let's just disable the perk for a couple of days. I want to see hke that turns out.
Defend what way of playing?, if you mean playing without DS I will defend it, because it opens up for more enjoyable builds for me to use.
Also what do you mean they are going to kill the perk? how is DS going to be killed exactly?
Theres also a ton of other perks that are from paid dlc, in fact some of the perks part of paid dlc are utterly terrible look at Lucky Break or Hex:Third Seal, so how does that justify DS having extremely powerful anti momentum when it is supposed to be anti tunnel?

"I like its anti momentum because it justified needing to:
Pay for a perk to prevent being deleted in 2 minutes ."
Anti-momentum and being too strong is justified to you because it's a paid DLC...you're serious?
A perk being with a paid DLC should never be a justification for a power level, that wouldn't make any sense at all.
People want it to only be anti-tunnel and even better at anti-tunnel than it is now (such as timer pausing in chase among others). No survivors should be upset over a change that makes them get tunneled even less...
The only people that can be upset with this change are people that abused the perk for more than it was intended.
The change suggested that I liked most was giving it no timer at all, but deactivates after progressing the game state by, repairing a gen, doing a totem or unhooking or healing a fellow survivor. A variation on this I would personally prefer is that it also can be used twice if you are in fact tunelled twice.
-
in relation to 'The only reason nobody got mad at this perk for being anti tunnel was that it had an anti momentum benefit. Mind you this is a paid perk so not only if you want to jot he deleted you have to pay for it.' 1:Why exactly would someone be mad at a perk for having anti tunnel benefits, and if they were mad about that why would anti momentum benefits cancel those out? 2:it's already been in the shrine 11 times and likely will be again so you don't have to pay for it, and likewise it is not needed to survive or have fun is you later say 'You shouldn't need a paid perk to have fun in this video game'.
'How about make changes to tunneling and not neuter a good perk' what changes do you suggest they make to tunneling? also if they removed the anti tunnel aspect from DS there would be more reason to 'neuter' it.
-
So changing a perk from solely BP gains to BP gains and increase healing of downed survivors isnt a buff? Sure its not the greatest thing but it is by definition a buff.

The fact they need to do gens and from what I know, looping the killers around hooks is just overall bad.
it is currently a bad play yet people still do it however if it would extend the hook time aswell as increase other survivors action speeds then it would in a lot of cases be beneficial to do it. as youre relieving pressure off those doing gens.
-
Sounds similar to a lot of other suggestions, and sounds good on paper, but what stops survivors just looping the killer around the hook?

Guess you have good luck but because of how prevalent tunneling/slugging are, DS/UB became meta. You can deny it and say it doesnt happen to you which is fair sense it doesnt happen to every one. It is very consistent. If it wasn't consistent these perks would not be meta.
I mean there's also the fact that Unbreakable is a fun perk to use, and that DS can be forced. and the fact that the two combined cancel out each other's counters while individually being very powerful perks. I assume those reasons are atleast part of the reason that theyre meta.
If you are very consistently being tunneled and slugged what are you doing? I honestly want to know cause I try to get slugged for one of my builds yet it often doesn't work.
Also I still don't see how either of them are required. you encounter the thing theyre strong against often, that means you get value from it, that doesn't mean that they're required. I wouldn't say there's a single perk on either side that is required.
-

They aren't nerfing DS/UB because they are required. I don't think pop needed a nerf but I can understand why they did it.
How are they required? I use unbreakable fairly often since I dedicate full builds to being slugged,Its a very powerful perk yet I wouldn't say it's required, if anything it's a waste most games, And I've yet to use DS a single time so I don't see how that's required either.

Horrible addon, more of a hindrance than a benefit. What's the point of facing anyone if there's an obstacle between us and it pulls me to it when I myself try to go around. Another addon that's a hindrance is the adrenaline vial. The turning penalty of it was way too punishing even when combined with the umbra salts addon which considerably increases turning.

Massive debuff for any Blight with good reactions. Too often you're going to end up looking where you don't want to look. I'm glad it isn't base kit like I saw so many people claimed it should be in his first week, or Blight would be unplayable.
Well atleast I'm not alone in thinking it's a net negative.

Do people really hate self care that much? God...my playstyle revolves around distracting the killer but always able to lose him. I usually take a hit each time. I'd be out of a medkit in seconds and there won't be enough totems for me to do lol.
self care is very useful in some situations, but I've seen enough threads here saying if they knew their teammates had self care theyd either dodge or sandbag them.
-
Jeff has pretty quiet breathing but his grunts of pain feel like theyre the loudest in the game, Meg is kinda the inverse, loud breathing fairly quiet pain grunts.
-
I think it's due to the amount that would dodge lobbies for things such as Self Care. Personally I would disagree with not implementing it for said reason, but thats the only real reason I can think not to show it.

I mean yeah, isnt that the point of asymmetric pvp games as a whole, both sides should be different but have equal chance to win.

IMO stacking Slowdown-Perks or Stuff like Forever Freddy (which still exists, even tho its weaker) show that a Killer is not good at the game and rather needs to prolong the game as much as possible instead of going for Chase- or Tracking-Perks to apply pressure. Some Slowdown is ok (I am using Sloppy Butchere here and there or Corrupt Intervention), but too much is pretty lame. But that is just my opinion.
And regarding second-chance Perks, I think those are the only Perks which make sense for Survivors. This and Perks which help with the Objective, but those dont really exist and will never exist. Yeah, some players like Stealth, but Stealth is mostly pretty boring and BHVR is also going in a direction which does not really support Stealth. But again, this is my opinion. I rather have 4 Survivors with full Loadouts than 4 who are just hiding all the time.
May I ask how BHVR are going in a direction that does not support stealth?, the newer maps and reworked maps are both great for stealth both on the killer and survivor side. If they continue like this I'd say they're going towards making stealthy play more viable.

Bills,Lauries and Quentins are always on the extremes, some of the best and worst players I've seen.

I know Ollie already mentioned this, but Spirit can't see Blood while phasing unless she's using an Ultra-Rare add-on. She's entirely sound and scratch mark dependent. (I know there's a bit of a hit box thing too, but it's super hard to notice unless you've played a ton of Spirit imho.) I think the only change Spirit really needs is to the phase start itself- I've always argued for a Phase start animation for Survivors to see. I don't feel like it takes anything really away from her (because man, I don't want to see her get gutted...).
Trapper- I think he should just have one of his bags as base-kit. The fact that he constantly has to waste an add-on slot for a bag to ensure he can get value out of his traps is pretty bad. This would also open up more ways for Trapper to actually be able to utilize other add-on combinations without having to worry about bags.
Wraith- Honestly, I just want a Windstorm add-on to be base kit, for the same reason as Trapper above. It feels like you constantly should be running Windstorm if you want to get good value out of Wraith. Making it base kit would just increase the amount of options he had for other add-on combinations.
Hillbilly- I think he's great as-is.
Hag- I personally think Hag is fine as-is. You can counter traps as a Survivor, especially ones under hook. I think if anything should be changed about her, it's Rusty Shackles- that add-on is pretty nasty to play against. Nothing else really needs to be touch imho.
Nurse- I will forever say that I miss old base-kit Nurse. I honestly still haven't gotten over her rework.
Myers- ...Gotta disagree here. As someone who's played a lot of Myers, I would usually only use Tombstones on players that were already fully stalked, since they had less value to me. If anything, he needs to be able to stalk a bit faster at base, or be able to reset the stalk amount on Survivors. Currently, his power destroys his early game with trying to get out of Tier 1, but can also be entirely useless in late game thanks to Survivors being dry from Stalk. Maybe something along the lines of 'after all survivors have been fully stalked, everyone gets reset back to half'? Something to give him the same potential as a killer like Oni.
Doctor- Agreed. I'm also excited for this boi to get a graphics update- his shock hand honestly looks like something straight out of the first Bioshock game to me lol.
Huntress- Also agreed, but people have been complaining about hitboxes in this game for a while. I'm hoping the better hit detection system will help this. I'm also excited for her add-on rework- I would hope that they at least make it so Iridescent Head doesn't stack with Infantry Belt.
Bubba- I think the boi is pretty good in his current state honestly. The Devs did a good job with his re-work.
Nightmare- Honestly, I just want his lunge animation changed a bit. I think he's the one killer where when I'm playing against him, I'm constantly questioning whether he actually should have hit me or not because of his lunge.
Pig- A stereotypical request, but man I want Ruleset No. 2 to be base kit with some add-on reworks. I just think it would help increase her pressure enough to help her really get the ball rolling to solidify her a bit better as a mid-tier killer. Currently she just sits as a 'Jack of all trades, master of none', where she just gets pushed around way too easily.
Clown- Honestly, I've never played Clown. So I'm not in a good position to say what he should or should not have changed about him. I'll leave that to people who actually play him.
Spirit- (See my first paragraph.)
Ghostface- Honestly, I just want a more consistent detection system (since his current one is very inconsistent on both sides), and add-on reworks.
Demogorgan- Add-on reworks. His best add-on is a brown one. That's depressing.
Oni- I don't mind Infectious working with the Kanabo. I don't think he should get nerfed or buffed.
Deathslinger- Same with Oni. I don't think either of them are particularly fun to play as or against, but I don't think their kits should be entirely destroyed either just to make them more 'fun'- and I'm not really sure of any way their kits could be changed to make them more fun to play against without just that happening.
PH- I haven't played as or against him enough to really give a good idea on what I think should be done to him.
Just my thoughts. Any killer not listed are ones I agree with you on and had nothing more to say.
To be honest I didnt know she even had an add on to see blood, I guess most I run into just dont use that, thanks for clarifying.
With Oni I 100% agree that he's not fun from either perspective while being in a pretty good place balance wise
Deathslinger however is probably the killer I enjoy most from both perspectives, so I guess this is where we disagree.

It's been a while since I have played Spirit, but I'm sure that you can see blood. I could be wrong.
Basically take away her ability to hear survivors while phasing. It's the best solution that I can come up with.
As for Deathslinger, I feel that he fits a different niche to Huntress. Huntress is an actually ranged killer while Deathslinger is more about the 1v1, and actually has a stealth element being a 24m Terror Radius killer.
On the deathslinger point yes they fill different niches, but they are the most comparable to each other that I can think of, and the only things he has over her are:
No Lullaby, Lack of Charge Time, Can land shots through stuff Huntress cannot. Can reload anywhere.
While what she has over him is:
No maximum range, Doesnt need to reload after every shot, doesnt need to reel in the survivor, larger hitbox makes shots easier to hit, every shot landed does a health state of damage
Making it so he has a slower projectile than huntress while already huntress is already a better killer in most situations, just doesnt sit right with me.
-
Just 2 things I noticed
Spirit- you said remove ability to hear survivors and use bloodhound? Would that mean you're also giving her the ability to see blood while in power? I dont play spirit so correct me if I'm wrong but I'm almost certain she can't see blood.
Deathslinger- making it hitscan would be terribly overpowed, while making it a slower projectile would just give him another way he's worse than huntress.
-
It was done like that for the mmr system, that is currently turned off for an indefinite amount of time.

In this case I was talking about the main building on the rest forest, was playing against a Legion who kept going around wounded everyone, which ended in a 4k. But what my peeve was I ran around the corner to vault one of the windows in the room that always had two open, only to find it's been blocked, I die, and get basement hooked. ######### wonderful. When did they do that?
By red forest I'm going to assume you mean mothers dwelling and not the temple, if so theres always 1 of the possible windows blocked, if you dont believe me you can look it up, an excerpt from the wiki:
"The Hunting Cabin is a two-story house built from logs with a staircase on the outside and on the inside, both leading onto the balcony.
- The ground floor contains a living room with a fireplace and 2 Lockers, there are 3 entrances and 4 windows, of which one is always blocked.
- The upper floor contains several ledges from which a player can jump, a grand total of 4 entrances, 1 window and 1 vault location on the wooden deck."
-
Does it work well on any killer?

Breaking line of sight and gaining distance aren't really possible against a good M&A Deathslinger until you take a hit, and even then they'll just follow you for a little bit like any killer can. If they lose you when you break LOS after a hit then they're just bad lol.
Spine Chill is a great counter and it's a great perk against any killer, but I don't love running it because it makes the game feel less scary.
Breaking line of sight can be quite map dependent ill give you that but you can definitely do it, you dont need to lose him you just need to reduce his opportunity to get a shot off, and if you get hit use it to make distance rather than trying to break line of sight, his gun has a maximum range that you can easily get out of from the hit speed boost so long as hes not running stbfl. Even if they stick it out and get you in the end the prolonging of the chase will help your team greatly.
I have a similar view on spine chill, it's a great perk but it takes the suspense from the game in a way, hence why I dont run it much.

How is it being tunneled if it's your first hook, also I thought what you were implying was killing yourself on hook? If that is the case the fellow survivors didnt really have a chance to save you, and if that's not what you mean then what do you mean?

Monitor,Devour,Surveillance,I'm all ears on Deathslinger, monitor and devour are already part of one of the 3 builds I tend to use on him, so why not just swap out the info perk and I'm all ears because I dont use it at all, so might aswell try something with it
