I think they said before that they weren't including real people, hence why clown isnt John Wayne Gacy.
Also I really dont think Kaiser Wilhelm III would make a good killer or survivor anyway.

That's not the point. The game wasn't created to be an E-sport, and it is to randomly generated to be one.
CS:GO, LOL, DOTA. None of these were created to be an esport, and on the flipside most games created to be esports tend to fail as esports as well as games.
-
If executed well then sure itd be great, but I feel it would be very easy for it to be a map with either too strong loops or too many dead zones. I really like the unique escape idea though.
-
I mean I had a game where my devour was right beside one of the gens, in the main building of yamaoka they completed said gen, devour stayed up all game, and I was complained at in the end game for, abusing bullshit totem placement, I honestly dont know how they didnt see the glow in the time they were working on that gen, and how they didnt think to look there when they saw j had devour up. So I dont know what's up with the totems, are some of them just invisible or something?

Chess isn't a good example.
Imagine if your opponent didn't need to move their pieces, and could instead place them on a board you can't even see, closer to Battleship. If you guess where they moved their piece incorrectly you just straight up lose the game.
That is Spirit.
You can use context to figure out what the most likely situations would be, and what would best counter the most likely outcomes. Is it the easiest counterplay, no, but it is counterplay nonetheless. Also how is chess not a good example, predicting your opponent is one of the fundamental parts of the game.

There is no counterplay to deathslinger as his shot is impossible to react to, and spirit is a guess, so no counterplay there. If you can run one for a while it isn't your skill. It means they messed up. Those two are the only ones with no counterplay.
There very much is, so you think that the survivor cant influence at all if a deathslinger will get the hit or not? Breaking line of sight, getting distance, being unpredictable all make it much harder for him to get the hit, you dont need to react if you can make it so he cant get a clean shot, and even then it's the same speed as a fully charged hatchet with a much smaller hitbox, so depending on the range it is reactable , if you dont think that's counterplay than what is.
On the spirit point it is a guess, but an educated guess , alike almost everything in this and any other human v human game, hell even chess could be considered a series of educated guesses. And I highly doubt anyone would say that chess is just guesses, so therefore you cant counter your opponent. I could go into more detail but theres a plethora of discussions about this on these forums, take your pick.

The thing is there is counterplay to those killers, and there is counterplay/downsides to the perks on survivor side, however as seen in the clip you accompany the counterplay can be removed by combinations.

You just contradicted yourself. "All 1v1 do is prove one player is better than another. I never took a 1v1 despite being better than 95% of the players." It's fine you cant prove spirit has counterplay.
A 1v1 doesn't just show who's better than another. If you say there is counterplay why not showcase it 1v1 or not you should be able to do it. The only artificial thing is the predetermined start area other than that it's a normal chase which you keep trying to say otherwise.
On your gears situation season 1 in ranked match was busted placing diamond meant nothing and the opponents 4 years ago were not good. Diamond in the later seasons such as 6 took more skill.
You claim you beat some many spirits and outplay them and everyone just refuses to learn how to loop differently. Scott jund is no different. Its whatever though man if you cant showcase the counterplay it only makes you look bad.
I dont see how he contradicts himself in that situation, would you care to elaborate?
Also in a 1v1 situation all you have to think about is the specific chase, you dont need to worry about keeping any pressure on gens, or worrying about anything else at all except the chase, which will inevitably skew results.
1v1s dont really reflect balance in any game involving teams, especially in asymmetric games but even in symmetrical team based games, such as league of legends for example, you wouldn't use a 1v1 to prove whether or not vayne or jinx are overpowered, as they are designed in a way that they rely on their team to peel for them so they do the damage.
Similarly DBD is designed in a way where 1 killer has a chance to win against 4 survivors, therefore if you reduce the survivors numbers the game will start to favour the killer more and more.

I know it seems like an odd requirement, but it would bring unbreakable down to the level it needs to be at to be balanced. Unbreakable should function as an anti-slug build perk, not a get-outa-jail free card similiar to DS.
And it would actually require survivors to use their brains more to pull off unbreakable escapes.
As someone who dedicates full builds around getting slugged and often runs Unbreakable, I do think it requires a tweak to not be quite so powerful, I just feel theres got to be a better way to do it.

Perks should be based around the idea of reflecting and copying,
Level 30 perk, copy cat, copy a perks affect when it activates at 50% strength, this effect can only happen once every 30/25/20 seconds,
some examples of this Haunted grounds 90 second duration, enduring 75% reduced stun, dark devotion 45 seconds, bbq longer aura reading, to show which effect has activated the perks icon temporarily becomes the icon of the perk it copied, great for making strong perks stronger and combining with other perks
Level 35 perk, Mirrored Pain, if a survivor takes a protection hit for other sruvivors all survivors they protected take a health state of damage, this effect can only happen once every 80/70/60 seconds.
For example if someone is body blocking the exit gate for an injured survivor it would down the injured and damage the one body blocking for them, this also procs bt easily on survivors getting unhooked or punishes survivors for saving in front of you
Level 40 perk, From all angles, survivors within 8/10/12 meters can be seen through objects when outside of a chase
This perk is not exactly aura reading so you can still miss people but it helps find people hiding behind close structures and crouching behind walls, even works with lockers as you could see the survivor through the locker, overall this would just be a close range tracking perk that helps find suvivors in lockers and behind cover with ease, but doesn't work in a chase as that would be way too strong
How the level 40 perk would be implemented I cant quite wrap my head around to be honest, otherwise I like them.

Bubba still gets beat by decent survivors and at the same time pro survivors get destroyed by Spirit which is a character that can be obtained via playtime/shards.
There's a reason everyone's playing Spirit during the DBD-tournament right now.
Also just because some paid content may be strong doesn't make the whole game pay2win.
As long as there are equally strong things for free/playtime you can't call any game pay2win.
Smh stop covering up for the pay to win nature of third seal.

These perks would be so easy to balance too with simple number/requirement adjustments.
DS - if you heal yourself/get healed or interact with gens/gate/hooks, it becomes disabled.
BT - Deep wound hits no longer gives the survivor a speed boost and reduce the endurance effect to 10 seconds. Also cause Deep wounds timer to only be halved while running, not stop completely. Deep wounds right now operates as a third health state because of how silly un-threatening it is, one of the devs most horrible reworks imo.
Unbreakable - Can no longer fully recover while in the killers terror radius.
Spine chill - Reduce the bonkers 36m conal detection range to 16m. I have to mention this one because the other survivor perk premonition which gives you an audio warning on a long CD, is so similiar but SO much worse than Spine Chill, it shows how badly balanced this perk is.
Adrenaline - No longer works while the survivor is hooked, and does not work if the survivor is exhausted.
The other perks IMO are actually balanced, its just these 5 are the most poorly balanced perks their are. I cant even come back to DBD because of how utterly imbalanced it is against survivors who don't play like potatoes and use these meta perks constantly.
All your suggestions seem great except the Unbreakable one, it seems like such an odd requirement for it.

If you're not a good Huntress I can see why you would believe that.
And the idea something needs to be nerfed because it isn't fun? Come on dude, most of the chase and being looped isn't really fun for Killer, are you going to tell me you want survivors nerfed? That's not why things get nerfed, they get nerfed if they are unbalanced or game breaking. You just admitted that isn't the case, not to mention fun is subjective and I like vsing DS personally. Don't get enough PH to have a well formed opinion on that, but I know when I play against him I have to sneak rather than loop at every given chance
I have the same experience pretty much of enjoying versing deathslinger but not getting enough triangle man to be able to really form a proper opinion.

That's exactly the issue, he's only good In chase and lacks in everything else. No map pressure, no mobility, no lethality. He's just an m1 killer with a slowdown that forces pallets down. I don't call that "underrated" I call that bad and weak.
I would agree for the most part, I dont think hes quite as bad as some say hence why I do myself think that he is underated but he is definitely one of if not the weakest killer in the game.
-
I think the only time I had bloodlust even get to tier 2 was when I was huntress and was chasing a survivor around the house of pain on badham. Apart from that situation I rarely if ever have it show up, so I rarely even remember it's a mechanic tbh.
-
I mean he is underrated, that doesnt means that hes not in need of buffs though, cause he definitely is. He has decent chase but nothing else going for him.
-
Maybe I just get lucky but 5/6 games as solo survivor I usually get a competent enough team, and in those games it tends to usually lead to atleast 3 escapes, then theres the other 1/6 its lucky if 1 or 2 get out cause no ones doing gens. Clearly the ranking system is the problem of it considers both these things to be equal.
-
Doctor Satan from House of 1000 corpses. Theres a lot of different ways you could the power work, while also having a visually interesting killer.

I personally think HG is quite weak. It's a perk slot for 1 60 second Exposed on everyone that usually gets popped early when all the pallets are still up and the survivors dictate when and even if it activates at all.
The odds of that procing when you are chasing someone and they don't have any pallets and they aren't already injured seems pretty bad.
Even if we assume it does proc and proc at the right time, on the right person, that's generally gonna be 1, 1 hit down for a perk slot. That's terrible value 90% of the time.
Imo it needs to keep both totems instead of removing the other once you proc one of them.
I mean I dont use it often but when I do it tends to work well and I usually have a survivor that I'm either chasing or that I can easily start a chase with

Detective's Hunch. Pre-buff it was decent, post-buff it's amazing for finding totems.
Calm Spirit is ok. IIRC it used to be meta years ago when Spies From The Shadows was also meta. No screaming shuts down Doctor. While it's "Fine" I think it is not worth the perk slot just for the off-chance the killer is Doc or has Spies. I also just remembered it counters Infectious Fright. Maybe it should also stop killer instinct?
Better Together. Love the perk. Great gen-jockey perk when combo'd with prove thyself so other survivors see your generator. The built in "See all survivors when someone is downed when you're on a gen" actually counters Knock-Out, and it acts similar to a mini-kindred.
Devour Hope. Perfect example of what Hex's should be. High risk, high reward. (3 unhooks and you can instadown. 2 more unhooks and you can now mori.) Other hex perks should be as strong as Devour Hope IMHO. Only one that comes close in my opinion is NOED.
Overwhelming Presence. While it's the least popular perk in the game IIRC it has a decent use in rapidly depleting flashlight batteries. I'd prefer Lightborn or Franklin's though. I still think it needs a rework/buff since there's better alternatives and it doesn't stop survivors from blinding you, just makes it so they can't do it as many times.
I would argue haunted grounds is also in a good state for hex perks along with devour.

Deliverance is an example of how the other second chance perks should be, so it's well designed.
Pop is well designed.
Inner Strength is well designed.
Nurses Calling is fine.
M&A is solid.
There's probably a few others as well. That's just some that stuck out at me.
I'd say only maybe 10% of the perks for each side are actually perfectly fine where they're at.
I'd agree as most perks on both sides are near useless.

Stealth works just fine at all ranks. It's just not easy at high ranks. I play at rank 1 I literally just finish a game where I was able to hide from a Freddy while he searched for me around a gen. Made him waste a solid 20 seconds before he left to go to another gen, and guess what? I just got right back on the gen and finished. 3e, I escaped.
Hiding is a completely valid and reasonable tactic. If you say it's not then you just suck at it plain and simple.
Also if the Spirit is using their power in bursts then running tiles is even more effective on them. You eventually force them to use a full phase to catch up to you.
Can I ask in the situation with the freddy were you asleep or awake, if asleep I'm really impressed given that blue glow everyone's got

Monitor and abuse: Use a quarter of your perk slots to get rid of a quarter to a third of your terror radius depending on the killer.

Licence examples: Michael Myers, Bubba, Demogorgon, Pyramid Head. It's hard, but they can do it.
Non licenced examples: Werewolf, Vampire, Demon, Shadow monster, etc.
Transforming killer: Dr Jeckyls and Mr Hyde (They could've been the base of the alchemist power...) who, Oni like, transforms after some conditions have been achieved, for example, after hitting the survivors 4 times with your normal hit, it puts you into Transform mode and next hit is an insta down. Animation could be just a scientist and transformation into a monster "Hulk alike" search for Dr Jeckyls and Mr Hyde for a more accurate idea
Them getting some licenses doesnt mean they can get every license. But since you brought up pyramid head, it is really impressive they got that considering konamis usual stance on things like this.
I know what Jekyll and hyde is and honestly that's what I expected blight would be, but considering they passed up that very obvious opportunity I doubt we'll get anything like that anytime soon.

LOL, really? This community has been asking for YEARS for the Werewolf, Pinhead, It, Slenderman, Alien or a transforming killer, and we haven't got any of them yet. But when the community said they hated Legion, they release extra skins for Legion, it's just a joke, asying we don't want something and maybe the Devs will give us that something.
I mean for some of those things licensing may be the issue, a transforming killer in what way, I've heard multiple suggestions like that, the most notable are variations on myers power , and transforming into a survivor, the 1st of which I'd be behind, the 2nd of which while a great design wouldn't be able to do ######### against swf.

Oblivious does show up on the side of your screen so it isn't that. In fact in both clips, the Deathslinger showed up out of nowhere while the OP was on a nearly complete Gen. I'm not a betting man, but I'd feel fairly confident that Tinkerer is responsible. Then the second clip clearly shows the gen instantly starting to regress when its let go, so Ruin to force the gens back below 70% to get more Tinkerer's procs. Seems reasonable to me.
Yeah and given the gen was well above the 70 threshold it could have been coincidental that the timer ended as he got hit. And thank you for confirming about oblivious, the only time i really see the symbol is from freddy's power so wasnt quite sure if it was unique to that.

well the fun part is that this guy had the classic DS build.
M&A - BBQ - POP and Courrupt intervention.
also his addons were reload addons nothing what removes the TR.
it cant be Dark devoution
it could be Tinkerer but he didnt had that perk
it wasnt the addons because he need to aim to get less TR.
so either something is wrong with tinkerer or anything else.
and even worse is that a lot of DS had this issue with the 0 TR
Probably a bug then, either a bug with it actually giving him undetectable when he shouldn't or a bug when displaying his build on the end screen.

Monitor and Abuse, Tinkerer, Trail of Torment, Dark Devotion, Gold Creek Whiskey, Marshal's Badge, his custom chase music being pretty quiet at the beginning. Way too many sources of the Oblivious status effect to name.
All of these could be responsible for you getting shot by a Deathslinger you couldn't hear. Stealth is in fact one of the things Deathslinger has going for him that he can lean into that Huntress can't use.

with Monitor + his addons he can get in shooting range before you hear his terror radius.
Everyone and their mother is using Monitor & Abuse on Deathslinger.
True however if hes stacking his addons that reduce terror radius when aiming he'll be moving at a snail's pace so it would be pretty obvious if that were the case, although I personally havent seen anyone use those add-ons except for one game on the ptb,and yeah it's really strong on Hawkins, however I feel if it was any other map except maybe lerys it would just do him more harm than good.
