Actually I could easily see Lethal Pursuer being really good on Legion. Against decent Survivors, you only really get one shot at a good Frenzy because after they know you're Legion, they won't group up.
When you put it like that I can actually see it being useful so I actually retract myself, I never thought of it like that.
-
My solo queue experience is something like, I touch a gen, see if it has ruin (most of the time it does) then when I'm about to finish a gen, killer randomly appears with tinkerer, I either loop for a while then the other survivors do nothing, I get hooked and no gens pop, I go to 2nd hook stage because survivors refuse to unhook me even when the killer isn't there.
Killer comes back after I get unhook, I get tunneled out.
I've been getting new players as teammates as well.

Are you seriously saying knowing where the biggest cluster of survivors are doesn't benifit Legion?
And pls tell me how i am using whispers wrong if it's lit throughout the match.
I begin to think whispers is a perk that players with bad tracking skills use to offset it.
Imo whispers is so overrated, if you often find whispers deactivating then you need to play more survivor to have an idea where survivors like to be.
32 meters, you can master how to use whispers you would understand why it is better.
If whispers is off, and you move to certain point you know EXACTLY where the survivor is.
Lethal persuer is for people that really don't know where to go, note I'm not saying that it is a bad thing and sometimes spawns are messed up but lethal persuer is nowhere near as good as whispers.
And not always whispers is on, if it's on then you will most likely see crows flying/landing or scratch marks.
If you think it's overrated, then your opinion, nothing wrong with it but if you think whispers is bad then my friend, the problem is on you for not knowing how to use whispers.
Edit: most of the time when you play as legion, when you see someone then that is great, you will see survivors either way after hitting a frenzy, there is not that much of a point to use lethal persuer on legion because he lacks lethality.

I hate solo-q too but usually i am playing with my friends. When my friends are online, survivor games are really chill.
Exactly, swf is easy, solo queue not so much, especially when some survivors do not do anything.
I rarely have issues as killer, not saying that I don't have to sweat, sometimes I do but not all the time.
-
Personally, solo queue survivor is the hardest then killer.
I usually play at night time central time, and I usually play solo survivor.
I make killer perk bingo, ruin, undying, tinkerer are almost always used at that time.
When I play killer I play dead hard bingo, whenever I see a dead hard I have a snack ( I hate candy).
But anyways to the point, yes solo survivor is harder then killer then swf.
-
Any action? I will say that using current MoM without me noticing that you are trying to get MoM.
Like getting all stacks without me noticing and you a survivor using it With a big brain plan.
That usually makes me have extreme mercy towards the user.

I've had three matches today where I've led the killer around on a chase for a few minutes and then they DC. Do y'all think that this is the same level of frustration that survivors feel when we get tunneled? If you're a veteran killer, do you sometimes just go "nah" and eat the 5min penalty?
I've never personally quit because of a chase but I'm just curious because it's happened a lot lately, considering DC penalty has been off.
I was playing on midwich when it was released, I had my old huntress build which was nurse's, iron maiden, bbq and corrupt.
I stayed afk for a bit because I was feeding my cat.
Currupt ended, NO ONE did 1 gen or even progressed on any gen, I was looking for the survivors but never found them, about 15 min into the match no gens had progress and I never found anyone, I dc'ed because no one ever do anything.

I'm really enjoying lethal pursuer and getting a lot of value from it. Sometimes it allows me to get hits on multiple survivors 30 seconds into the match, sometimes I start a chase 15 seconds in and get a down before a gen has even been touched.
I'm wondering if anyone prefers whispers. I feel that LP gives so much value so quickly that it outshines whispers even though it is single use.
I prefer whispers, for once it's one of the best tracking perks out there if you know how to use it.
Whispers help you as any killer, lethal what is the point if you cannot get instant pressure or let you know if someone is looking at you while you set traps (trapper).
What is the point of using lethal persuer on killers like current legion, current trickster, current clown or current trapper, they do not benefit from it, meanwhile the same killers do benefit from whispers to tell if someone is there or not.
One lasts what? 9 seconds? The other one the whole match "bUt whIsPeRs OnLy woRkS eArlY gAmE anD enD gAme" then I can tell you do not know how to use whispers if you think like that.
-
Just become a bot like most killers I see daily and run ruin undying tinkerer without worrying about chase perks.
But PH is actually great at 1v1 so he doesn't really need chase perks like stbfl, enduring etc.

@agonizing said:
This has been happening a lot lately. I think it has to do with killers taking a break and queue times returning back to normal due to the ending of the 5th year event. The less killers playing, the more wacky the MM will be as survivors are prioritized by time and then quality.
You should see it back to Event queue matchmaking when the Bloodhunt begins on the 29th next week. Then back to what you are experiencing now short after.
I'm not new to the game, I been playing this game for 3 years, I know that during bp events killer queues are going to be horrible.
But yeah, hopefully I'm just getting unlucky.

Who's harder to master, Orphan on BL4 or Nurse? Honestly not sure myself.
That is actually a hard question, without cheesing I think Kos is harder, but if you count cheesing then nurse is harder imo.

Well, we agree to disagree lol.
Fair enough lol yeah
-
@GrimoireWeiss said:
The truth no one wants to hear is that DBD overall is easy. Even things like Nurse don't even compare to, let's say, Ludwig on Bloodborne.
Ludwig is easy lmao I even did a bl4 run a while ago, nurse is harder to master than ludwig.
-
Done it, will continue using dumb builds as well with meta builds, and well I don't get what you are trying to say?.
I've gone from full meme builds to sweaty builds for both sides.
-
Yup, why would I waste them now when I can use them a week later with double bp?
-
I use bbq, stbfl, pop and surge, sometimes I change stbfl for lethal persuer.
-
I play Oni daily but my usual time is very late, I main him but if you want to play against more, try playing at 12 a.m central to like 3 a.m.
You might find me playing Oni.
But yeah there are barely any other oni mains out there.
-
I've been noticing the increase of endgame perks yes, but not BW by itself.
Like I've been seeing stuff like remember me, no way out, noed and BW.
It is great seeing that kind of variety.

@FrndlyChnswSalzmn said:
I feel like the shift + w meta forces me to tunnel and camp if I want to have any chance of getting more than 1 kill. The sole exception being on Deathslinger, Nurse and Spirit, who everyone hates. It's impossible to give survivors the non-stop chases they want with anyone else as long as they can hold shift + w and just outrun every single melee killer. So tunnel and camp I shall.
We need a change in the meta. It's getting stale and it is actually hurting the game pretty badly. The only solution i can see is to play nothing but Deathslinger, Nurse, Huntress and Spirit.
Yeah to counter it you need high mobility killers, I've been using wraith with cloak and uncloak addons, it works amazing.
Hold W meta is making the game boring for me on the killer's side, like I like the chase interaction, example, survivors looping me and me trying to outplay them.
Hold W is removing that interaction.
So I've been using killers that also destroy hold W players.
Wraith, huntress, slinger, nurse, billy, spirit, blight.
You gotta play fire with fire.

Whenever I get a perk that isn’t BT, DS, UB, DH, SB, Adrenaline, and any other meta perk to impact the whole game, it feels very good.
Yeah, I get you 100%, I like using underrated perks as well, like alert, or tenacity by itself.
Yesterday, I had a Plag slugging hard, I managed to go to one corner of Lery's and find hatch ( I got lucky finding it).
Also the Jill perk, the 50% heal with solidarity felt amazing.
People just think that you need meta perks to win.
-
I almost got everything back since I changed from ps4 to pc.
Got about 200 cakes on Oni, all crowns for both sides unlocked.
Most of my killers are p3 50.
Got my Cheryl p3 50 all perks and about 20 cakes on her.
So yes I almost got everything I wanted, now I will just farm more cakes for the double bp event.
-
I've never been power struggled, or at least I can't remember but hey it is amazing that you got so much value out of it.
It is a really niche perk but when it works it works amazingly.
-
I call ruin undying tinkerer on blight his adept build.
-
Quentin hated? First time I hear that, maybe he is hated because his perks were bugged a long time ago????

Ngl I've single handedly countered more noeds compared to before.

This was very difficult because of the stupid chaser emblem with chainsaw hits and just bad maps
Congrats bud!!! Adept bubba is indeed very annoying but if you wanted an easier time you should've used speed limiter and irri flesh, makes his adept extremely easy.
But still congrats on doing it normally!.
-
That is not a ps4 bug, that is in general, from what I've tested and done, if you get stunned after using the rush you get that bug.
Unsure if this is what happened to you, but yeah blight is extremely bugged right now.

he want bp and ranking he can use bbq and get some bp and upgrade any other Character like: billy wraith huntress
and then he can get some ranking
OP was complaining about how annoying killer adepts are, only bubba can use bbq for adept.
-
I think weak perks like that need a big buff since it only works 5 times, maybe make it so ALL windows get blocked in the map since it only works 5 times.
I've never said "look at that cruel limits value" since the perk is just not good at all, even territorial is better.
-
Once I did a cj tech with a fire cracker while I was panicking, I pretended that I knew what I was doing.
-
Hey congrats bud!!! That is one of the hardest things in this game.
Keep it up!!
-
I usually only run addons on killers I'm not too familiar with, example nurse since I suck with her, trickster I use brown shoes because they feel just nice and trapper because it's trapper, I have to carry a bag and gloves.
But with the rest I do pretty good without addons.
-
So I'm not allowed to complain or get mad if I get tunneled and camp these past 5 matches?.
I play both sides, currently I play a lot of survivor but I call myself a killer main.
If the game is casual why do both sides play like their life depend on it? Just today I've been facecamped to death 5 times at first hook, it isn't fun.
I don't tell others how to play and I complain with my swf duo because it isn't fun to be killed like that.
-
I use open handed with bond to see my teammates not doing anything and hiding on the corners of the map.
Ace in the hole when I want to farm items paired with plunder's and appraisal.
-
In 3 years of playing this game I have never seen a survivor give me a free kill.
But honestly if you won just leave, Idc about 200 points per hit, I prefer if survivors stop wasting time at the exit gates.
-
Wait so last gen consoles HAVE to buy a ssd to play? The heck? What happened to the optimization from 3 years ago? This is why they need to think of consoles as well, not just pc, I am on pc and find this bs.

So do I, my friend. So do I.
I really miss my old main and would do anything to get him back, preferably his on-release version. But even if he was to return the exact same way he was prior to his rework it would be good enough for me.
He deserves another chance. Old Freddy mains deserve another chance.
And hey, nice to know that you also found it thanks to a friend! I was actually playing Friday the 13th of said friend of mine. It was actually a very boring match, so we just kept talking about some random stuff and when I asked him about game recommendations he mentioned DBD.
The good ole' days, back in November of 2018. I actually got DBD on Christmas:
#bringbackoldfreddy
A friend of mine was watching some dbd streamer, can't remember who, I started watching dbd when Pig was released but never wanted to play it until a friend gifted me the game on ps4, that is when I started, raged quit for a while then came back until today.

Well, I didn't hate it back then because I hadn't bought it yet, but I get the feeling you are talking about :)
When I first learned about DBD's existence, thanks to a friend, I did some research and that is when I found out that Freddy was in the game. Bought it one month later.
Old Freddy as much as I sucked using him I miss his old power so much.
So you also found it because of a friend, niiiiice, same thing here.

Yeah, it is an amazing feeling when a franchise you already love is in the game. That is how I felt when I discovered that Freddy Krueger was a killer in DBD.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2354415#Comment_2354415
Being here for a Chapter Release is always interesting, I would say.
100% it just feels amazing seeing a franchise you love being added into a game you also love and hate at the same time.
-
Mmmm hard question honestly.
My favorite chapter is cursed legacy because I love oni.
But I think silent hill chapter is also amazing but just because I am a silent hill nerd so it is extremely hard to actually give my favorite answer.
-
Yesterday I was playing as legion for a daily, 2/4 survivors got destroyed so bad I could've finished the match right there and then at 5 gens, All I did was pick up a survivor to give them a chance to refresh and try again.
The other two were swf, they told me at the end that survivors like the other two are the reason they are looking for 2 other survivors to play daily, because they threw so bad.
If you feel like the match can go on and have more fun, do it, no point in winning at 5 gens with barely any points.

We have a small window over the kitchen sink. Every morning we open the shade, and shut it again in the evening.
If we forget to shut it before dark, it’s really creepy when you walk into the kitchen because the window itself is practically pitch black. Since it’s head height, you could absolutely envision a face materializing out of the dark to peer in.
As a result, if you walk into the kitchen after dark and the shade is up, it is now customary to shout out “I just had a Myers Moment!”
A few days ago, I was replaying the original re3, I said outloud "stop tunneling bro" to nemesis.
I also have a flashlight that is very easy to click spam, sometimes when I see my brother in the hallway I teabag from a safe distance while flashy spam.

So do I, my friend. That map was so good to play on, not only for its unmatched balance, but also for its aesthetics.
Whenever you have one of those moments where you desperately want Old DBD back, talk to me. I will do my best to help:
100% right, Chapel and coal tower were just perfect for both sides.
I don't remember someone saying "oh crap we are in father's chapel" that map was just perfect for both sides and whoever says otherwise we can argue but just accept the fact that you will lose.
Father chapel was one if not the best map for both sides for all killers.
-
I miss old Chapel, thanks for brining back memories.

I was wondering the same thing.. even in solo q with players that split up I legitimately feel bad for the person playing killer..
Same, I usually feel horrible for the killer who gets badham randomly, and I feel like crap when I see other survivors use offerings.

sorry just triggers me. It is to the point where I would prefer Game over this god forsaken map/
But both of those maps are horrible, shouldn't you hope for a map like maybe coal tower?
-
Not as much as I used to.
Before when I was working 60+ hours a week, I was playing for about 5/6 hours a day.
Now when I don't work I play for about 3/4 because of how boring the game is becoming, I prefer broken stuff over balanced.
-
It isn't considered a fair map, who told you that?
-
Barely does anything but it technically can help.
