  • Hag and Leatherface were my first two for leveling up teachable perks.  Both can do well at low rank and potato Survivors. Both have great perks too.  Leatherface's BBQ&Chili is great for both finding players (albeit slightly nerfed now) amd for Bloodpoint farming, trust me, you WANT BBQ for those sweet bonus points. Franklin's Demise is a great counter to SWF groups using a bunch of items imo.

Hag's Ruin is really strong and Devour Hope is a fun perk, though both are vulnerable being Hex Perks.

I'd say after those two you're more or less free to move on to whomever else you want, though (Teachable Perk wise) Id suggest Spirit and Nurse as they both have solid Perks to learn

    Hello

Deep wound, in concept, is to create pressure and waste Survivors time, not to down survivors, similar to Reverse Bear Trap.

    Thanks for the feedback.

It does not actually do that in practice though. It needs adjustments. That or the killer needs adjustments in other places to compensate for a power that does not do what its meant to do. As is the killer is way too slow for what he can do. It does not make sense at all that his base movement is 110. ( same as Hag and Huntress )

As is the way the power works currently is a bit buggy. As I know others have pointed out. The only way you guys can fix it is by making it be effected by terror radius instead. There is also almost no time wasted and no risk at all to mend. If its meant to waste time for the survivor it does not do a good job of it at all due to how fast you can do it. When doing it there is no threat as well since the timer stops. ( Something I do not think should happen with how the whole thing currently works. )

Of course this is my opinion from my experience with playing with and against Legion. ( As well as observation of other people playing ) A opinion I know that will be ignored of course.

You shouldn't be able to mend yourself. I'd even be ok if you could mend up to 75% and hold it there until someone finds you, but removing the ability to mend yourself would fix this killer 100%.

This plus a better movement speed is enough of a bandaid fix to keep plenty of us satisfied for awhile, if there needs to be a more substantial change.  Medkit and others should be the only options for treating wounds..... Which Nurse's Calling SHOULD be used to see.

The reason a slower movement speed works for Nurse and Huntress is they are given tools to close out a chase fast and at a distance, while also having map pressure (goes double for Nurse).  Legion wastes more time than those two combined chasing after different targets. It's especially rough ,once a SWF or competent group keeps apart once they know they're vsing Legion.  You end up with a really weak 1v1 situation, while having fatigue stun, a long recharge on the ability AND slow movement...while Gens are getting popped as you try to down multiple Survivors

I'm getting the feeling this may be falling on deaf ears tho.....Like yes, balance is a fickle and slippery slope...but don't double down when the community, at large is giving constructive feedback.

Many of us loved Spirit on release and suggested a few tweaks and she's quite popular, one of my favs.
  • Only tried em once, it is fairly entertaining rushing around and stabbing people and vaulting over things like a sprint runner.  It's gonna take me a bit of practice and some decent perks to be more serious with them, till then *stab stab stab*

Still say some tweaks are needed to them, faster movement speed for starters
  • Susie should be the laughing/giggling type of Serial Killer imo.... That way Clown and Doctor have another buddy to giggle while smacking Survivors.

Really hoping they patch in new voices/sounds for em. Legion IS a group of 4...no matter if it's all a cosmetic aspect in the game
  • Huntress, Nurse and Spirit take a lot of practice to get the hang and rthym of their playstyle down.

Make sure you up your sensitivity if you haven't already and practice like that.  One major issue Huntress has is that hitboxes on loop areas and various objects on the map is wonky AF, you'll have a clear looking shot and it just shatters in the air.

You can bait people with Hatchets, making them run a different path or cause them to inefficiently run as they bob and weave.

    You'll get it down eventually!
  • He's not bad at all. He's extremely strong to hook rush and camping if that is your thing.

He's a solid mid tier killer.

He's lethal in the basement. Like the worst to deal with.

Agreed, Id say (depending on variables) he shifts all over Mid Tier placement.  I played him from the get go because I love Texas Chainsaw Massacre, only have had one bad match ever, the rest have been pretty fun across the board.

Leatherface and Trapper are Basement Buddies!
  • The game is in a good enough point of variety and content with Killers and Survivors that we need a huge slew of buffs and reworks for the balance of the game imo.  I understand it's a slippery slope to approach balance for a multiplayer game, let alone an asymmetrical one...but to be completely honest, they made this game and have the responsibility to make changes as needed, esp when community feedback is immensely asking for them.

In general I want Survivors to fear Killers as it's supposed to be...but many Killers end up as just jokes for Survivors, esp SWF...Freddy and Legion are just punching bags for the majority on the Rank ladder.

No one mentioned tje number of useless add ons he has NOISE MUFFLERS. Also best marks increases charge time why? His best add ons are charge ads ons acceleration only works if survivours are moving in a straight direction you lose a lot of speed chainging directions.

He needs enduring and spirit fury as he can't really play a lot of pallets if survivours are decent. He has the classic problem of not having any ability to cross the map which defines the most powerful killers in the game.

    Tldr
    Crap addons.
Cant cross the map fast the standard for a good killer.
All his advantages can be countered by simply smart play.
Has to brute force loops with m1 with the only advantage being breaking pallets fast with specific charge add ons.
These categories define a giid killer bubba lacking in them kakes him mid tier only elevated to high tier if specific add ons and specific builds are available as he has no build variation that works at rank 1 - brute force.
Fair point about add-ons that are a waste....I had forgotten about them and just kept using ones that mattered (Pig says hi)

The Muffler, Gauge Rake, Chassis, File and that one that hilariously makes his Chainsaw not put Survivors in the dying state...

He does have some fantastic ones at least, but still stands some are garbo

  • He's far from bad, but he's also not quite hitting into the great territory.  His main issues is that he's susceptible to being bullied and SWF Gen Rushing,,possibly good loopers too.

He's fantastic in a chase (with movement speed add-ons or extended reach) and against altruistic groups (I've been able to turn a 0-0k-1k game into a 3k easily).  It's just almost no map pressure/presence keeps him a bit behind other Killers.

Unless you get good/lucky Chainsaw opportunities, a snowballed game in the Survivor's favor is most likely going to stay that way

I took a break from the game due to frustration with overtly toxic players that sour the fun for me and my anxiety that sometimes flares up on multiplayer games
Is it cause get flak from toxic teamates that expect the world from you.... or the other side not letting you play the game Dx
I main Killer so, essentially bullied at every chance with some of these games.  Literally first Survivor I see spans Crouch, obv to get my attention, which I ignored and then it turned out it was a SWF group and they all teabagged and tried 360 mlg turns whenever possible.

Had a game where I admittedly tilted and ended up with a 2k near 3k and the last teo wouldn't leave.  We were on opposite sides of the map, went over to the exit gate annnnnd flashlight spams and teabagging.  Pushed em out (too far in/dead hearts) but it's like....Ilike....I can't report them as I'm on console, useless feature...so when you get these kind of groups constantly...jconstantly...just kills the fun for mw.

Few will agree, but if your spamming crouch, wish it give you a penalty or debuff.  Can't stand that typw of behaviour
  • I took a break from the game due to frustration with overtly toxic players that sour the fun for me and my anxiety that sometimes flares up on multiplayer games
  • I almost played her earlier today and decided I'd play her another day....if this is true...this entire patch took one step forward thrn tumbled several back :/.  This game is mostly visually orientated (a good bit of sound too) and Spirit already gets a con to the use of her Ability and she was in a great spot.  I was enjoying practicing and improving with her....being blinded like that is just bs and I hope it isn't intentionally done

[BAD WORD] Christ...just played on Yamakoa Estate as Hag and not only was it beyond infuriating to watch thia game play on about 5-10 frames...but I can't count on both hands how many times I go to slap a Gen and the prompt goes away and I have to move back and forth to get it to appear again....

Just when I was back to playing and having a fun time.....Either this update made it worse and more frequent, esp on certain maps or I've somehow been lucky till now...

I can only imagine how hard it must suck to play on a low performance machine..... damn

I'm not the best player, casual but it's unnerving when I know I was going to end a chase soon enough to then completely potato...when Gen Rushing hits hard and that happens...just kinda sucks the life outta the sport if it all.  And I willingly admit I have just plain bad games with 0-2k results all on my part....but when I get two games of domianting as Leatherface on different maps with zero issues, to then playing Hag (whom is currently my back pocket Killer) just have the roughest time....

I just want smooth gameplay, there are MUCH bigger games that run with little to no issues....Im just at a loss and kinda depressed after being so excited to be back after a break...

Man for once I'm glad I'm on console. Been playing all day and the only map I have any slowdown is the new one. And it's very slight.
I'm on PS4 and Yamakoa amd Father's todsy were utter crapfests on performance.....operformance.....other maps were fine...but it's so damn inconsistent

    Everyone playing killer obviously.

People want bp, killer earns way more bp

The only thing that changed is the new killer, and as I said I'm barely encountering them.

It took a lil longer for my matches so far today, bur I still got some.  What platform you playing on?

    I'm on PC

I'm on PS4 and it takes a couple minutes, I think about 5 or so for the longest.  Im surprised if PC is having a issue of playerbase not playing Survivor,,so mamy streamers and personalities SWF a lot.

Hope you can get some matches faster
  • It took a lil longer for my matches so far today, bur I still got some.  What platform you playing on?
  • My only wishes for Bloodweb changes would be allowing us to acquire both Perks if wished, or at least get the second one for a lil more Bloodpoints than normally.  Having to choose between two good Perks and possibly not seeing the other for a LONG time bites.

The other is that I wish after you Prestiged, you'd either keep the Killer's unique teachable Perks and only have to reaquire the others and/or have a reduction in Bloodpoint costs for everything on the Bloodweb the further you Prestige imo.

I’m buying Legion Despite the fact Legion is a walking meme already. And the fact the devs excuse for no 115 movement speed was laughable I’ll buy them anyway.

ppl like you are the reason why they get away with it. If people want to buy ######### then they shouldn't complain about getting #########.

You seem like a wonderful person. Is Legion set to be in a good spot on release?  Not really, will it remain that way? Doubtful.
  • Buying it all.  Love the game and will continue to support it.  Plus I always love the Killers and will mess around with builds.  Getting the perks from,Legion and the Survivor is def something I want.  Shrine is suuuch a gamble that there's no point in waiting personally
  • Slap this onto Monstrous Shrine imo
  • Always felt 2-3 starting with is a fair change.  I do pretty well with Trapper but often it gets annoying to run around and pick up Traps one at a time.
  • It's all rng luck.  Got Ruin Rank 1 on my 36th level web for Spirit, before 40th level web for Leatherface and got it on my 5th level for Clown.

    So, best of luck
  • Because as Nea I get Killing points if I live  :p
  • Agreed, Legion is very The Strangers type, I also got vibes of Welcome to the Game kinda take.

Most of the time a survivor dc's the killer becomes more lenient and usually gives last person the hatch ^-^ just my experience
As a Killer main I do this sometimes if a game was really brutal in my favor or if DCs happen right away and the last person alive wasn't a teabagging tryhard troll.

If a match has been played out, Gens are being done & such and then people DC, I usually won't give Hatch.
  • Appreciate the replies and insight given here! While I've been playing off and on since it was on PS+ and improved my gameplay, I'm still quite newish on the smaller intricacies such as map pros/cons
  • I like too many for jus one xD my favs are:
-Poncho Bing Bong Boi( Shadow Face Wrap)
    -Momma Bear Huntress
    -Harajuku Graffiti Nea
    -Comedy Horror Clown
    -Downtown Fair Clown
    -Foul Bile Doctor
    -Seeping Hollow Bing Bong Boi
  • I'm decently excited, all things considered.  Love the aesthetics of The Legion, especially the fact you can be Male,or Female.  The whole "Welcome to The Game"/The Strangers kinda vibe they give off is particularly appealing.  While currently weak, the ability to sprint and vault pallets amd quickly injury Survivors looks particularly fun.

Def needs tweaks and buffs, but I feel I'm gonna have a fair bit of fun mix & matching different Perks for this Killer.  I'm hopeful for some (moderately quick) fixes like Nurse's Calling being viable for the mending of Deep Wounds (unless that's already been brought up by the Devs) and that Deep Wounds are more threatening to Survivors as a whole.

I dunno, even with more "meh" and negative response from the community (in general) I can't help but be transfixed by the design and kit of this Killer.

Now.....as far as Survivors go, this'll be two in a row for new Survivors that I'm just not all that excited for :/
  • Some of you are so overtly petty xD It's a game ffs
  • Candyman, Pinhead and Ghostface come to mind!  So many unique ideas could be used with em!

I'd also love for something akin to The Strangers..where it's actually multiple Killers that you could switch between for different Abilities and/or stats.
  • You lot championing such things don't have the foresight to understand that it sets a precedent for game companies/developers to rig games and their progression to accommodate people having to buy those microtransactions...pay to NOT play the game.

Don't be ignorant, this affects the entire gaming industry...to where save slots are being sold in fully priced games. It tells EVERY game company what's more easily pushed into games....I hate this line but it really rings true: "You are what's wrong with X".  Your wanton "I wanna skip this part" of the game exemplifies companies making grinds and gameplay worse because people will throw money at it...this all started with F2P mobile games, or games that were $1-5 ...its now a practice in games priced $20-60
  • "Hey why did you hit me again....you didn't go after anyone else!"

Lol, you potato'd the Gen/were on my Totem/ were terrible at hiding/stayed at the Hook etc etc....You played yourself...dont blame us Killers because you're making it easier for us to find you.  If I can eliminate someone quickly and early...you're damn skippy Im gonna do so...occasionally I'll chase after someone else, but often I like to trybto line-up a Kill fast...otherwise Hello Gen Rushing
  • Not in the slightest, it's only useful if the endgame happens, which isn't always the case... Hatch game happen more often than people realise, not to mention Cleansing Totems is not hard, esp if Survivors suspect a NOED (often a strong guess based on which Killer you are: Hag, Spirit, Freddy etc)

The only perk in this games I even consider a true crutch is DS, which can reward bad plays, is only countered if someone is dribbled or downed right next to a Hook...otherwise you HAVE to deal with it, esp,if multiple people run it...
  • No...and more no....I really enjoy this game and while Inplay casually, I get enough Bloodpoints to continue progression, even if its a grind...and have had no problem buying cosmetics that I enjoy...those are truly optional and my choice.  The ability to skip grinds/progression is a bane on video games that's beyond greedy for companies to implement & push.  It undermines the work and time mostmost of us have put into the game and would expound the issue of artificial grind (more of) to entice players to fork over money to progress faster.

Don't even SUGGEST such a ridiculously shi**y idea like buying progression. If such a thing was ever implemented, I will delete the game and never touch a product by this company again
  • I'm jus tired of Hex Totems spawning on the far, opposite end of the map....where at least 2 Survivors tend to spawn nearby...
  • Clown is my favorite original Killer.  Love his backstory, how creepy he is, love his look and his ability ia really good and disturbing in the idea of intoxicating Survivors and wanting their finger!

The rest I love a ton, ranked from following fav to least fav, though with the exception on the last one listed, they're almost tied with each other

Spirit: AMAZING look, excellent background and amazing perks, with a great ability!  Something about playing her is satisfying

Wraith: Bing Bong Boi is a great character, fun ability to mess around with Survivors...it's super addicting to Dong dat Bell.  With other Perks, becomes quite the powerhouse.  Kinda feel sorry for his character

Hag: Gruesome backstory and while playing VS her can be a nightmare, she is a blast to play as.  Her Traps and some amazing perks lead her to dominate games. Needs more cosmetics.

Trapper:  OG Killer, while not super strong, I love his mask and Survivors getting stuck in traps is VERY satisfying!

Huntress: Excellent design, great backstory and the humming is just the cherry on top. The Hatchet ability ia great, though can be tough to be great with (console player) only downside is that her Perks are so forgettable, though Huntress Lullaby is a fun one on paper!

Doctor: originally I didn't like the Doctor and didn't think Id play him at all...after having a Ritual to play as him...def changed my mind!  A great backstory, one of the GOOFIEST laughs & pallet stun sounds that makes me laugh a lot.  I like the originality of his Treatment mode and Shock ability! Adds a fun twist to the game

Nurse: One of,my favorite designed Killers from her look to her story, she's all primed to being a top favorite for sure!  However, since I factor in my game experience playing as these Killers, with ranking them...I have not played Nurse yet.  Since I play on console and need to really devote time practicing her unique playstyle AND the hinderence of console controller...Nurse will be one of the last Killers to play as.

Hillybilly: I do not like playing as Hillbilly.  Not a fan of his backstory, his look is only ok with the Scarecrow outfit and his ability...just bores me.  Use it to zip around the map, apply some pressure or ride the ass of Survivors and get an easy down.  I know their areare mains of Hillbilly for having fun and some for being able to down Survivors fast but for me......me......BLEH

  • I dunno, having a Pig or Michael appear outta nowhere can give ya a heart attack xD
  • Yeah, even as a Killer Main...wiggling should give some points imo.  I don't see the harm in it.
  • When I take my Dogs outside...my one Dog likes to play "Catch me" and run/walk around the chairs/table and she ends up doing it exactly like a Survivor does with mindgaming a Pallet/loop where I go one way and she goes the opposite xD
