While I agree Hag is very hard, one of the hardest, I'm gonna soft disagree. I personally think Nurse is twice as hard and 10x more punishing, but yeah, she's not easy-peesy.

Holy #########, bro you already know what's best of old legion without even playing him
I feel good for you tho, keep thinking new legion is good and more fun. Sadly I still can't get over the loss of my main
Yeah, I can understand that. I personally prefer old Doctor. The main reason I loved him was because of the Madness effect. Now the Madness effect is about as useful as Blindness.

you haven't even played old legion?
Nah. I came in at about a month before Oni. I was following the game since Demo however. I saw a ton of gameplay of it, and it just doesn't seem to be as good as current Legion. I personally would like the depletion of Deep Wounds on hit, 3 second fatigue, and not losing all of my power on miss and half on basic hit back. Other than that, I'm pretty fine with current Legion

I agree with a lot of your opinions, OP. I think Spine Chill needs to be nerfed hard. I agree Demo is the worst killer in the game. I also follow your DS punishment guidelines :)
I really don't want Spine Chill nerfed. I think it's balanced, just very powerful, and alot of people can't use it correctly. I personally am fine with how it is

It seems like they're too afraid of making good perks.
I think the problem with most modern perks is they come with too many prerequisites to even activate them.
exactly this. Why run Gearhead which requires survivors to hit specifically good skill checks, but within 30 seconds of you hitting 2 people with only your basic M1, when you can just run Discordance and know BOOM, 2+ people on this gen. They make perks too complicated and ultimately just garbage
-
Save The Best For Last for sure. such a good perk. I'm honestly abusing Knock Out and it's actually more effective against SWF than most people think. Nurse's would be used on stealth killers if gen didn't go so fast, and I have a feeling I'm All Ears would be the best chase perk in the game (other than STBFL), but again, the meta is gen stalling.

Coldwind, 100%. I hate it so much, because corn ######### up my vision, is an infinite for me, and it merely existing screws my fps. So, if they revamp it, either it will be fun/playable for me, or I know to always DC on it as to not be so frustrated that I want to make my eyeballs and testicles switch places.
-
My most hated killers are Plague and Trapper. Plague because my teammates are potatoes and she completely nullifies all playstyles except the boring meta playstyle. Trapper I hate because he gives me about as much anxiety as playing killer myself, and as a Killer main, I need a break from that kind of anxiety from time to time. Also, most Trapper players are new and/or console players, so they play very boring and scummy.

Years of being attached to Big Sis has allowed him to study people's strides and has let him unlock a super stride. While your average Jake can take a sprinting step 10x the distance of the little legs of Victor, Victor has unleashed the ability to close and even surpass the ground covered with a bunch of quick, impish steps. The cute little steps of Victor cancel out a terror radius, but he can't help himself from shrieking with joy!
Next up, Victor is very keen on being close to someone. Being solo feels amazing to him, but he also wants to feel wanted and loved by the Survivors. Through sheer love and playful attitude, Victor can leap like a mini velociraptor across a great length. You may have seen a squirrel fly, you may have seen a horse fly, but you have never seen a imp fly off a building to an unexpecting person below. If he lands these, he gets to face hug the Survivor. This playful banter of course is frightening the Survivor into giving the little guy a piggy back ride instead. Little Bro doesn't know his strength though and typically leads the Survivor into some injury. Meanwhile if the Survivor wasn't feeling up to the piggy back ride, they collapse on the ground from exhaustion. Little Bro calls Big Sis to come help them back up and give them a ride on the hook.
If Victor fails these face hugs or is left unattended. The Survivors take pity on the little creature and give him some pets with their foot. He has a tendency to bite, so the hand doesn't work out to well. Survivors learned this and now take the more foot on approach, though some take a little more force into it. (David may be bitter) Victor loves these foot pets and goes back to Big Sis to let her know he likes that Survivor and wants to play with them more.
Big Sis takes naps when Little Bro is off playing as he is quite the handful. She offers spankings to all for making her walk around and do caretaking with her sickle. Some things she could use something a little less crude and pointed, but the Survivors are pretty numb to pain after hundreds of trials anyway.
This is incredible

People do. They also got maps. Undying practically replaces Thrill of the Hunt with multiple chances is the problem. It is a balance issue and defeats the purpose of ToTH existing. I imagine its not touched to encourage people to buy Blight DLC.
1.) Built To Last is to Streetwise as Undying is to Thrill of the Hunt. Powercreep isn't 1 side exclusive, and it's definitely not too much of a problem
2.) Oh, multiple chances you say? About time Killer got one of those. Now the ratio of Survivor SCPs to Killer SCPs is 9:1 lovely!
3.) Please. Undying being a balance issue? The only reason you're right on that one is because RNG shouldn't be a major part of a perk (which is why Hex perks are a flawed design)
-
If I am getting my ass handed to me, or if that survivor in particular was a complete a-hole, then I'mma tunnel a #########, no questions asked.
If I'm rofl stomping some kids, I will normally just try to end the game quickly so that we can move on with out lives.
If it's a very fair side with either side winning as a possibility, my game usually crashes. If I'm actually lucky for once in my life, I'll NEVER tunnel if it's a fun, nice, and fair game

@JBWarrior said:
Why do killers complain about ds when they get ruin they get undying ruin? It’s hard to argue nerving ds and not undying
The way I see it:
Ruin Undying is 100% RNG, and it's ultimately pretty ######### on most killers. Only the few that can apply constant pressure, like Billy, Blight, and Nurse can make use of it before the game is lost. Furthermore, the survivors are able to destroy it, and while Undying helps with that, it's all about how lucky you are. I've played 148 games with Ruin Undying on various killers and only 7 of those games did Ruin get another life. The other 141 Undying broke first, and only 9 of those did Ruin stay up 60+ seconds afterwards.
Meanwhile, Smoll PP Build gives you 60 seconds of invincibility once a match guarenteed, up to 120 seconds of invulnerability each match. If the Killer decides to deal with the DS, he gets punished by not just a 5 second stun, but then 27 seconds worth of distance, with god-knows-how-many seconds worth of additional looping. Unbreakable also has the potential to turn a 4K that the Killer basically has in the bag into a reset resulting in only 1 hook. NOT ONLY THAT, but 4 people can run this at a time.
You see why now? It's because DS Unbreakable is not only stronger, you have to deal with it for every survivor AND it's more consistent.
-
"I would consider myself a pretty good survivor"
Then you should not be bitching about Spirit. Look, I'm hella-subpar, but I find Spirit to be the most fun killer to verse. Spirit doesn't need a nerf. You need to use your brain and outmindgame her

I see a lot of "counter" arguments here, which basically sum up, "Oh you think X has it rough? Well Y has it rougher so your point is invalid!"
I may have read it that way, my apologies.
nah nah nah, you good. Also, I NEVER try to do that. Just because one side has it worse doesn't mean the other side's issue is non-existent. It's like saying starving African children have it rougher so American homeless people don't get to complain. It's a really stupid mentality.

That's not a counter argument to my anecdotal experience. That's taking what I said and ramping up the concept to metacritical proportions.
I get the same crap when I do well as a Killer. This garbage just feels like the same idea behind keys, moris, and flashlights, only at a core value. "Don't try to be good at the game, you'll just be attacked for it."
I try not to complain on the forums because:
A.) If it's a balance or feedback complaint, the devs won't give a flying f**k what we think (they don't even listen to their own Fog Whisperers)
B.) If it's a community/behavioral issue, people don't give a s**t.
C.) If it's about literally anything, people don't care. The only thing we can do is say "hey, this is an issue" and hope people gain more than 2 braincells within their lifespan.
Also, not trying to provide a counter argument. Just trying to say "I hear ya, but everyone deals with it and no one seems intent on stopping it, so why we bitching." 😞 It's a shame I have to say that. This game and it's community has gone to s**t. Shame too

I swear every game where I manage to do well in a chase, more than half the time I get a killer who will sit there on me, teabag me, shake their head frantically like they just won the E- Superbowl. I'm sorry that it took you eight chases to finally down me, but it's not my fault, dude.
It makes me not want to get better at chases. I'd rather be knocked down in 15 seconds and hooked, than to do well in a chase for a minute and get slapped around and told no like a bad nanny for an extra minute. Yeah it's good for the game but it's certainly not enjoyable to experience. I'm already high adrenaline from managing to somehow survive a chase for that long, now you want me to take a beating I didn't deserve?
And every time I take control of the match once I have the advantage by slugging and "tunneling" or by patrolling a high priority area that happens to have a survivor hooked in it, I'd rather not be berated for being a filthy piece of ######### that needs a life. Both sides are shamed for playing well. Not survivor exclusive, and no one is going to listen anyway

Would genuinely like to know, currently shes absolutely disgusting.
She has plenty of counterplay, Iron Will and Spine Chill are massive counters to her. But if we wanna talk no perks, JUST USE YOUR BRAIN AND YOUR SENSES. Both sides are trying to predict the other when the Spirit phases. It's basically like Trolldiers in Team Fortress 2: both sides are trying to outsmart and outposition the other. The problem is that people have this weird obsession with running around a pallet for 9 years and anything that stops you from doing that is immediately boring. I don't get it.
-
As a legion main, I think I am best qualified for this. Here's just a few of their straight weaknesses:
-Missing while in their power punishes them ALOT
-Their tracking is limited to their TR
-Gen rushing will obliterate any Legion
-The Legion is an early snowball killer. If they don't have at least 2 people mending after their first use of their power, they are immediately much weaker.
Now, let's go over some strategies:
1.) The Legion excels at punishing altruism and keeping people injured. For this reason, splitting up demolishes the Legion more than any other killer. You should only prioritize heals if you are dead on hook or if you must go for a save.
2.) The Legion cannot see scratch marks or blood stains while using Feral Frenzy. For this reason, you can easily mindgame a Legion if you lose LOS with them.
3.) Deep Wounds isn't a threatening status effect. It's moreso 12 seconds of stalling for a single person. You can make sure the timer NEVER goes down by always running or mending.
4.) Legion players typically run full gen control builds, since it synergizes best with Feral Frenzy's ease of injuries. Common perks are Pop Goes The Weasel, Surge, Ruin, Thrilling Tremors, and Thanataphobia. For this reason, making sure you don't get injured quickly into the match or not getting downed quickly is key.
5.) Legion isn't lethal in Feral Frenzy, so outside of getting free injuries, they are just a basic M1 killer that is slightly shorter than most. Not much of a threat if you don't take any ballsy plays.
This is the best I could come up with. Legion isn't that hard to deal with if you have your wits about you. Good luck <3

I don't think that's the case. Just because you know the Killer is looking at you doesn't mean you know where that Killer is.
No, but with good gamesense you are unmindgameable outside of looking away while approaching a gen. But in a loop, you are 100% unmindgameable. It's the best counter to Spirit, helps give Myers a really hard time, completely counters stealth killers, gives you info on specific perks they might be running (Discordance, Surveillance, Nurse's, etc.), AND it allows you to know when a Killer is actually coming for you/has stopped chasing you. Spine Chill is so ######### good it's hard to see why people prefer things like Dead Hard or Kindred. The only Survivor perk that gives even a fraction of the info Spine Chill gives is Bond, but it's not even close.
Also, gamesense. Gamesense is key to using Spine Chill. You can pretty easily tell where the Killer will come from by just Spine Chill.
-
Who wouldn't?

Luckily, I brought in a key and dipped out; right in the nurses face too.
You think running out and letting the nurse chase me for free would relieve pressure from my teammates? I doubt it.
I only hate stealthy survivors just because my BBQ stacks

Retorts like these remind me why ds unbreakable is so much fun x
"Ah yes, let me do a gen in the killer's face because I'm invincible" so fun.
Toxicity aside, let me give you 5 reasons why Spirit isn't as simple as "just use your ears 4head."
1.) Using sound to track survivors while phasing is for when you get close. That's why Stridor is so good on her, because it increases the distance you can be from a survivor to be able to track them perfectly. Before you get to this stage, you need to predict where they are going to go (assuming you are in a loop/maze tile or if you are trying to cut them off) and/or use environmental queues to track them, which are quite subtle alot of the times, minus scratch marks of course
2.) The Spirit is weaker when the survivor is healthy, because they can mindgame a Spirit 10x better when healthy, just like any other killer.
3.) The Spirit is still in the Killer role. That means you have to outsmart 4 people at minimum 4 times each, but realistically 7-9 times each because second chance and exhaustion perks exist. Playing Spirit doesn't just magically make this go away.
4.) Iron Will is a very common perk for survivors, so The Spirit is always at a disadvantage against these survivors, even when she should have the advantage
5.) Sounds are buggy. Like, REALLY buggy. It's hard to say "just use your ears" when what your ears hear isn't consistent

As long as I see a huge disparity between killer and survivor, I'll continue to ask for killer nerfs and survivor buffs.
You do realize why the kill rate is higher than 50% (barely), right? It's because at the lowest levels, where 80% of the playerbase is, people are ######### potatoes. It's just easier to win against potato survivors. At the highest levels, survivors are OP as #########, while Killer feels like a ######### chore, which it is. At the highest level, killer mains are just playthings. At the average level (and I mean average as in between these two levels, not where the average player sits), it's kind of sort of maybe balanced, but survivors are still at an advantage.

20 seconds is an eternity for survivors.
Dude, you didn't even read the rest of the post lmao
-
OK, this has to be bait. However, if you ARE actually this stupid, let me throw some math at you.
Kicking a gen with Pop regresses the gen by 25%, or 20 seconds for a single survivor. However, this does not buy you 20 seconds. You still have to make your way to the gen. Let's talk best case scenario hero. Let's say the gen is right beside the hook. Walking over to it takes about, say, 3 seconds. Then, you have to kick the gen, which takes 2 seconds by default. Now you're down to 15 seconds you gained, or 18.75% while 3 other survivors are still doing gens. Every second a survivor is on gens, let's just ignore skillchecks, progresses the gen by 1.25%. 5 seconds x 1.25 progress per second x 3 survivors = 18.75%. Subtract the progress survivors get while you get to the gen to pop it from the time you gain from Popping the gen, you gain a total of 0 seconds. So, essentially, Pop just reverts the progress made in 5 seconds by 3 survivors, but only on a single generator. And this is best case scenario. In the best case scenario, kicking a gen with Pop is just as worthless as facecamping.
Complain about a Killer perk again. I'll show you why you're wrong.

Me, @BigBrainMegMain, @hahadrillgobrrr, and @ClaudioFrosty teaming up to do gens as fast as we can. We could've been faster.
Nothing wrong here, right? Just helping the survivors win with no consideration to the killer.
I that's kind of the point. Either they both should be OK and in the game as viable tactics, or neither should be. I honestly think gen-rushing hurts all players, while camping and tunneling at least can be seen as a memey challenge, requiring teamwork and coordination to pull off (let's be real, 90% of survivor players are SWF). I personally love camping and tunneling as survivor, but hate genrushing when I'm killer. On the flip side, camping/tunneling as killer is only when I hate 1 particular person or if they got unhooked in my face, and genrushing just makes a 20min queue for a 20 second game.
But back to my original point. This is not OK, and nor is camping/tunneling. So, either they are both viable strategies or neither should be, no double standard like Killers dealt with since forever.

Lol they do exist. For example haddonfield in a house with a basement if both windows spawn at the back of a house or gas haven once garage gen is done and back wall has a window without a door. Those are infinites vs huntress. Certain long low fences on haddonfield with vaults on each end is an infinite without bloodlust vs most of the killers. Because once 1 vault is blocked you can use the other one until the first one is unblocked
Hell, I've gotten an infinite on the Groaning Storehouse. If you get a rock rubbing against the corner to the right of the breakable wall in the main building, the window is an infinite again. I got it my first time on the new Groaning Storehouse and thought that was bullshit. Fortunately, it only happens 30% of the time, but it's still dumb

Self care is all about how you use it.
By yourself it takes 32 seconds with self care, with a team mate it takes half the time of only 16 seconds but theres 2 of you so thats one less person on gens.
So if the killer is chasing someone and your self caring it up while your other 2 team mates are doing gens no harm done right? Right.
Problem is thats not how most people use it
Times to not use self care
* Team mates struggling on hook
* Multiple team mates slugged
* Against a legion
* Against sloppy butcher
Just a few reasons. I never run self care just as a disclaimer lol imo its a trash perk that should be removed. Iron will > self care
Just run iron will and rush gens then heal when you run into another survivor or if your on death hook.
Agreed, but it's also sad that Iron Will is just better than Self-Care in a similar area despite them doing completely different things, one helping you to stay injured and slam gens, the other allowing for more survivability without using resources as well as being independent at the cost of time. It's actually kind of annoying that Self-Care isn't a viable perk in 99% of situations. I honestly think they should buff the self-heal speed to 60% and maybe buff the self-heal item efficiency to 100%.

I literally provided the links in my post. PWYF is only 5% at full stacks. It goes from 3%/4%/5%.
5% is only +0.2 on base Killers.
Bloodlust doesn't go up in percents. Period. It's +0.2/+0.4/+0.6.
Meaning max PWYF is only 1 phase of Bloodlust. If you get a 45 second chase. Then you are moving triple the speed you could get from PWYF.
Dude you are embaressing yourself at this point.
You do realize that's the tiers of the perk, not the token tiers?
Play With Your Food (tier 1)
Everytime you chase your Obsession and let them escape, gain a token, up to a maximum of 3 tokens.
Each token increases your movement speed my 3%
Play With Your Food (tier 2)
Everytime you chase your Obsession and let them escape, gain a token, up to a maximum of 3 tokens.
Each token increases your movement speed my 4%
Play With Your Food (tier 3)
Everytime you chase your Obsession and let them escape, gain a token, up to a maximum of 3 tokens.
Each token increases your movement speed my 5%
This clearly shows a few things:
1.) You've never used this perk before, nor do you know how this perk works
2.) You don't understand how perk descriptions work in general
3.) YOU are the one embarrassing themselves.
Thanks for showing us how stupid you are, dumbass.
-
Survivors should be scared of this, actually, very similar to the map reworks. With the map reworks, killers were already fighting an uphill battle, so when there is a closer semblance to balance, Killers seem OP. Now, if they truly remove Bloodlust after this experiment (I'd say keep BL 1, but BL 2 and 3 need to go 100%), then Killers are going to become better players and thus Survivors are going to have a harder time on average. Now, this is ultimately a good thing, but I'd just be careful if I was you.
-
Bloody Doll seems cool.
New Hellshire Iron is definitely better.
Outdoor Security Camera is actually pretty ######### good as is. If anything, replace the "Ghost Face Caught On Tape" addon. That one is really bad. As for the rework idea itself, it's ok.
New Iridescent Blight Tag would probably be the worst ultra-rare addon in the game (other than something like Iridescent Family Crest) if that rework went through.
Leprose Lichen (New) seems like just a better Infectious Fright. Maybe if it was something like this, it would be better:
Upon downing a survivor with a Shred attack, that survivor's aura is revealed for as long as they are in the Dying State.
When the survivor leaves the Dying state, the survivor screams, revealing their location and is inflicted with the Oblivious, Mangled, and Blindness status effects until the leave the Injured state.
Just an idea. This would probably still be #########, but it would be better than your idea (in my opinion)(not trying to be mean)
Another idea:
Torn Bookmark: Increases the amount of Blink charges by 1
Upon not achieving a Lethal Blink, moderately increases the post-blink fatigue duration.
Upon landing a Lethal Blink, slightly decrease the post-blink fatigue duration

Not really. In other games, sure, but in DBD, not at all. Alot of the content creators I mentioned have been playing for a LOOOOONG time, and are very clearly good at the video game. They aren't gods of knowledge, yes, but they know the game better than anyone, especially the devs. Monto can be dismissed to an extent, but Scott Jund, Otzdarva, OhTofu, etc are all VERY credible sources of feedback on the game. I'm not asking you take their word for it. I'm asking for you to listen to them talk about the issue and form your own opinion.
Also, entertainers don't often tell their audience what they want to hear. The channel Unus Annus is proof of that lmao. How many times have they hit an unfair hatchet throw with BBQ when it traveled 20 meters above their head? They win with their perks a lot more than survivor wins with their perks. Killer perks are so much stronger than survivor perks.
They don't even win that often. The only reason they win so much is that they understand the game inside and out, but their opponents aren't. That's not because of their perks. That's because of matchmaking. You should watch them talk about DS. Might learn a thing or two

Slugging is a completely fine tactic, but its also unrealistic to ask survivors "Remove UB and let us slug you!" Campers and tunnelers are somewhat rare, but if your not using DS and or UB in that situation your going to have a painfully unfun time and more than likely are going to get removed from the game in a couple of minutes. Even though DS isn't an anti tunneling perk, it at least dissuades people from tunneling and gives the survivor a 2nd chance to escape them.
DS doesn't do anything against people who maliciously tunneling. They will just sit over you and wait out the DS and make sure you can't Unbreakable.
I know it's unrealistic to ask people to stop using a perk. That's why I want the perk changed. It's like if there was a perk that, once the last gen is completed, all generators are set back to 50% progress. You have the winning condition in front of you, all you have to do is wrap the match up, but then your opponent uses a perk to make you lose most of your progress and restart the game for them to have a second chance.
Another example is if there was a perk that exploded every generator on the map whenever someone lands a great skill check. You did something to make your job easier for a chance to win, but then a perk punishes you for doing said thing. You don't see how Unbreakable is a flawed design now?
Campers and tunnelers are not dissuaded in the slightest by second chance perks, because you can't play around them because they do their job horribly, but can be abused and used in another way to make them OP. Someone who wants YOU dead won't stop. They already don't care about the game. They just want YOU. Therefore, second chance perks don't really do anything if said killer has half a brain.

Eh, that just seems like an unnecessaryily surv sided design choice. A one and done stun, possibly from each member of my team, isn't a tool to help us play better, it's a way to bully and be invulnerable off the hook.
The strike is decisive. Make yo decision. Make it count. You only get one. Etc...
And if they tunnel? Get better at chases? You'll probably lose them alot, but playing is better than not playing usually.
IDK. I play both sides, but even as Killer I feel DS is too easy to play around when legitimately and maliciously tunneling. If you are maliciously tunneling, you should be punished. If you don't learn ur lesson, oh well.
Also, how can you bully with this version? Unless all the survivors are not doing gens to keep their DS's up, there's no loophole here. And even if they do, so what? That just shows the Killer that they are all meme-lords and are just trying to have a good time. Who doesn't like games like that? If it pisses them off badly enough, just 4 man slug them to death. I specifically designed this rework to make it god tier against malicious tunnelers but not abusable to innocent killers.
