it seems like they figured out it wasn't a good thing
the devs say they're gonna do a lot of things, but never do them
free kindred would also probably be something you wouldn't want either, because it would come with significant killer buffs and would most likely end up being a net loss for survivors in terms of power.Could you explain? Also most of the things the devs haven't done are because of the normie stuff like they're too busy or whatever. Kindred is already IN the game, they would just have to make it a base component on survivors.

I'd like to adjust the subject of totems since it is really frustrating when you first don't know which totem is which (as killer) and the totem placements are horrendous. i'd suggest simply to make it so that you can choose which dull totem should be the hex totem so that it gives the killer full control on where their totems are instead of having it up to randomness to place your ruin, devour hope... in a ######### spot and you can't do anything about it (unless ur hag)or at least it should tell the killer which lit totem corresponds to which hex perk so that it can help the killer prioritize which totem to protect over one another.
The devs said they want to make it so you can pick and chose where your totems are, or do something along those lines. The only problem with that is that there's no real clear way on how that could work

I despise green ranks. It's the rank where most survivors think 2 things.
1. "I'm the best at this game w a t c h t h i s" messes up and ends up getting you killed
2. "I can't rescue the guy on the hook I need to focus on escaping and ranking up"
And no one ends up going for you when you're on the hook. A meg literally ran upstairs next to me on the hook just to do the generator a few days ago. Ahhhh, green ranks.. -

I don't know if the Devs ever said anything about it, but I think it would be a good idea. The graphics aren't that great and I think it would run pretty well on the switch and you could play it whenever and wherever. Any thoughts? It's not a problem with the graphics. DBD has so many "moving" things. All the grass, little hook swivels, ambient moving parts on generators and other objects, it puts a massive stress on the system. I hardly believe they are planning to port it to Switch anytime soon.

No it's a terrible thought.
Switch is inferior to Xbox One and PS4 in terms of performance and even they have problems with this game.
Heck, even Xbox One X can't run it on stable FPS.
They could always lower the graphics, like most games on switch.
You mean playing it on 0% resolution, Low and 640x480?
It would still have problems imo.Never said that. Even so, the game would still be playable. It could run on medium settings from pc.

Man, this is a horror game with slashers it it. It's rated M for mature and we are all adults here for the most part. This game has most of what you want from a slasher which would include the blood, brutality and big, beastly and scary killers, but it lacks one thing that I as a slasher movie fan love. Boobies. No, seriously though. Where in the actual f*** are the big bouncy fun bags man. Add those in asap. No slasher is complete without it and you'd be a fool to think otherwise.i agree 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000%

It remains a totem hex. It works the same in terms of debuffs. However instead of it being tied to one hex totem, there is a totem created for every generator on the map, and each is linked to a random generator, and never the closest, and/or within certain meters.
Break 1 totem, free 1 random generator of the hex. Break 5, and 5 of the generators are free from the hex. This might mean more totems on the map, of course. Got to leave room for NOED, and such.

The survivors hitbox is too wide, and this has nothing to do with latency. If you and another survivor were walking through a hallway from opposite directions, eventually you would meet and stop moving because you would be 'in the way' of each other when there would about a foot of distance from each other.
-
@Rebel_Raven said:
What do you think about the ability for killers to unhook a survivor into being carried again? It would reset the hook phase they are in when originally hooked previously, though.
I.e. if it was the first hook, and you unhooked them yourself, it would stay first hook for the next hooking. Their struggle phase would be refreshed.
Naturally this is to prevent someone unlocking and rehooking 3 times to sacrifice faster.I mean like, m a y b e, but what would this be helpful for? You could just loop them on and off the hook and keep the game hostage.
-
@Ghost_Potato said:
Now that devs have said that 360 and looping are not intended but do give an advantage are we able to report them now or are they getting fix soon?Lmao if the devs say it gives an advantage but wasn't intended that doesn't mean it's an exploit at all. An exploit is something that wasn't intended and gives an UNFAIR advantage. 360's and looping can easily be countered, unlike if you got to an unfair spot with no way to die which is an actual exploit.

So basically what the title says..
This game needs a Play again Feature if you're playing with friends. So when you finish a match and if im with a premade i will get the feature "Play again"
My friends and I, are getting tired of inviting each other Over and Over again.
Going all the way out to the menu, for picking "Survive with friends" then invite them.. xDOh yeah.. Maybe replace it with the button Upgrade, i've noticed "upgrade" & "leave" leads to exactly the same spot.
If you hit leave it brings you to a survivor lobby, if you hit upgrade it brings you to a survivor lobby with the bloodweb already open.

It's like the entity doesn't like their taste. I would hope we can at least refund the, at this point, over 100k BP i've dropped in these things, across all my people.
They replace common offerings and addons that appear, so you're saying that you'll gladly buy and use common addons and offerings. If you equip the petals you'll get more bloodpoints anyways.

I honestly hate this idea. I'll tell you why and I'm not trying to sound elitist while doing so. But I have most of my killers with all rank 3 perks unlocked. I find it rather annoying that the perks are separated into 2 tiers since if I'm looking for something alphabetically it is a hassle to try and remember what rarity the perk is. More tiers means finding the perk I actually want is more difficult. It would bump up your perks. Rare will be Ultra Rare, Uncommon will be Rare. rADa raDa.

I play on ps4 and "Old Guy Jake" doesn't look very old, and it made me think about the trope of the super athletic old guy.Perks:
Second wind: Exhaustion lasts 75/65/55% as longEat My Dust: After being in a chase for 30 seconds, gain a 150% burst of speed for 1/2/3 seconds.
This perk aligns with the killers second burst of Bloodlust. It's meant to aid in getting from one loop to the next. Like lithe, but with an extended chase mechanic. Being hit resets the chase, and therefore the timer. Making it high risk, high reward for a perk slot.Aint Dead Yet: Crawling a certain amount of meters alows you to pick yourself up (once or twice per game? there should be a limit, but it will make killers have to think carefully about the benifits of slugging)
Every perk besides the second one is a bad idea. Lower the numbers a bit for Eat My Dust and there you go ez perk. There's already Vigil and Unbreakable so there's no need for the other 2.
Aint Dead Yet is meant to be a different way of doing unbreakable. Kinda like mixing Tapps ability to crawl and heal, with unbreakable for a new concept of a perk. It allows for customizability.
Perks like balanced landing and lithe have the same effect but activate for different situations. Ain't Dead Yet is just like running Unbreakable with Tenacity. If Ain't Dead Yet were to be a perk, you would have to crawl a long time. I think it would be better if instead of crawling a certain amount of meters, it depends on how long you've been on the ground. Like if your 'bleeding out timer' reaches halfway or 1 then you pick yourself up.

2 seconds to burn the wraith while he's invisible is way too much...
1.5 was enough
I need to know if i'm the only one thinking this ?I'll agree with this too because mostly everyone doesn't run flashlights, and a lot of survivors don't even know you can shine it at the cloaked wraith. Plus, yellow and green flashlights run out really quick and you barely get to burn the Wraith with those.

There's no real counter to DS, noed doesn't even trigger most of the time in high rank games.
The only time DS is ever i guess like, go o d, is whenever you get downed right next to the hatch or open exit gates and you have it. But you could still also miss it, and you would probably just get moried with rancor. Also, NOED probably would trigger at high rank games, considering the new buff to the perk that exposes all survivors at any tier.

Do not jump the very first gen you see.
Do not run towards the nearest objective.
Try to play stealthy until you know who the killer is and actually where?
Wait until he found someone else first and than take action.I know, it's hard, because survivor love their gen rush and rather complain than adept, becasue that worked for 2 years now and Devs always gave what you asked for.
Yeah, that's what I do all the time when I run Deliverance.

WGLF should give tokens for more different activities done by survivors, not less. If a survivor wants to see an injured survivor they can just run empathy.yes those 2 would work really good together, but it would leave you with 2 perks to actually use. Either kinda add a tiny empathy in WGLF or you could also nerf BBQ as another option. BBQ has 2 functions and WGLF only has 1 and the farming aspect is a big problem and this could fix that.
If I had a choice between a WGLF perk that was reasonably easy to get tokens with or one that had a half-assed secondary function then I would gladly choose the one that had a reasonable path to getting tokens. WGLF should give tokens for things survivors do to help escape just like BBQ gives tokens to killers for doing things that help kill survivors.
For instance, finishing generators, breaking hooks near carried survivors, pallet stunning the killer, breaking active totems, opening exit gates, etc. Survivors shouldn't get tokens for everything they do, but there should be more paths to gaining tokens than are currently available. So the fact that you want to remove one of the two methods for gaining tokens in exchange for a garbage secondary effect angers me.
I agree with what you say, but I never stated I wanted to remove an effect but change one which helps the game itself.

@MyNamePete I hear you man. I would even prefer a rotation that people could follow so they know when they really need to step up grinding. Also the fact that there are more perks in the game then there are weeks in a year is another reason I think a lower rotation time and a predictable rotating wheel of perks would be nice. Hopefully we can get some upvotes on this so the developers can see this.Yeah knowing what will come would be a good addition, and maybe reduce it to at least maybe 5 days?

How does everyone feel about the rotation time for perks in the Shrine of Secrets? There are 36 survivor perks and 39 killer perks in the game and it seems like they are randomly selected rather than rotating seeing how certain perks have been in the shrine more than others. Would a rotation time of 2 or 3 days be better than 7 days? What do yall think? I personally would prefer a lower rotation time because it's kinda annoying when you see perks being repeated in the shrine while one you want has never shown up.Dude 'Wake Up!' has been in the shrine at least 30 times from the time i've played (March). I think it's fine once a week, but it should be more randomized. I don't want wa k e up an y m ore.

When I first started this game, about 4 months ago I used to use Lithe all of the time. Then I moved onto Sprint Burst, and now I'm trying to figure out how to properly use Dead Hard.Lithe seems so balanced (for me) and has helped me escape in multiple situations when timed correctly. However, I feel like with Sprint burst I seem to be a lot more slower.
I tend to do things more fast paced than others, and be careful at the same time. So whenever I use Sprint burst is possibly to dodge killer's attacks, have gotten away when I've seen the killer coming towards me while I've worked on a generator, and to save somebody on the hook. Most of the time I'm normally just walking around, not running but walking and it makes me feel a lot less useful as a teammate. There are times when I say '**** it' and do it, but like I dunno.
I hardly ever used Dead Hard so now I'm trying to figure out how to use it at the right times, but at the moment I might go back to Lithe.
Adrenaline is okay, but it's considered the best perk according to this community. I feel like it's just a slot wasted when it comes to perks I dunno.
Balanced landing seems to be more situational, never been interested in the perk though.
I like Dead Hard because it's kinda like another hit you can take.

@MyNamePete Aside a forum issue has hidden some posts and convinced you to post them many times, it's not probable WGLF will be buffed with reading Auras abilities (a lot of users will say: "Killer's perk must be more powerful than survivors'), nevertheless it should become more effective in its typical function: to give consistent extra points to survivors (and no help in game).I made a proposal about WGLF:
1) healing a mate injured or in dying state, unhooking or protecting others could all be stackable;
OR
2) every unhooking or protection could give 37,5% extra BPs, until a maximum of 150% extra BPs.
Well ill be fine with the healing being part of it, but increasing the stacking amount would be needed as it would be way to easier to get the stacking but too much stacks would be op, so its an e h decision.
-
So,
We're gonna live forever is a farming perk for survivors, my idea isn't a buff that would remove that concept, but would make it better, as it's only a simple and small change.BBQ and Chilli has the same farming aspect to it, but requires you to first hook everyone to get the full 100%, so you can see survivors auras outside of 40 metres away from the hook to go and first hook everyone else.
We're Gonna Live Forever only gives you the bonus bloodpoints, so why not give it a little bonus effect to make it easier to get the bonus too? My idea is that you're able to see an injured survivor's aura for 4 seconds whenever they take damage and you hear a sound que so you know to look for the aura if they're within or without a certain range, so they can quickly get over for either a flashlight save or to get close to rescue from the hook for the bloodpoints. Which would make it a more useful perk, as some people only use BBQ and Chilli for the BP stack and some use it only for the aura reading ability.
And I know what most people are thinking, "it's not that hard to get the BP stack." So why not make it harder and more fair for survivors? What i mean by that is, most of the time some survivors will just farm you and then leave just for the BP stack. My idea for a nerf to balance the buff out, is that you only get the BP stack from hook rescues if it was a "Safe Hook Rescue."
The Devs say that BBQ and Chilli was made to also help prevent camping and tunneling, as you need to go get other survivors. I think with these changes it would also help prevent farming as you need to get safe hook rescues.
