It’s almost like Blight is a role model and the others are far behind. “Why is killer unbeatable in dead zone” Gee, I don’t know. Maybe that’s the point. Killer powers being completely negated in loops is bad design.

Or maybe Blight is easy to use, easy to learn and does everything all the other killers do but better. If a killer out-performs all the other killers at all skill levels, that's usually an indication he needs a nerf.

I play a lot of killers and Blight is just way to easy to use for how much kill potential he has.

There's definitely a reason I said when. If lower than 20% of the queued players are queued as killers, the MMR system goes more and more out of whack as it starts prioritizing queue times. During prime times, MMR seems to be working for me on the killers I play the most. The lower the number of killers queued below 1 in 5, though, the more out of whack the MMR, thus, more killers stop, MMR gets more out of whack, etc

Not camping and tunneling for better games also won't work for a long time if killers have been camping and tunneling since that has inflated the killer's MMR beyond what they could get through chasing and the killer will need a string of losses to lower their MMR until they can have enjoyable games again.

Player frustration, though, is not a good way to incentivize players in any game. So, my opinion is, as I stated above, Free the Nerfs! Nerf camping and nerf gen speeds at the same time. You can't nerf one without nerfing the other without completely shafting either killers or survivors.

This is exactly what needs to happen but too many killer players would see this as a killer-only nerf and threaten a boycott.

And to be honest, the BHVR devs are frightened of killer-players quiting.

I've been playing the heck out of the new killer. I enjoyed her a lot at low levels, but after I've (inevitably) worked her up to only be matched against red-rank SWF's...these are some of the most frustratingly tedious matches I've ever played.

She's supposed to be hit and run to spread pressure but after a bit, if you make the wrong call for where to teleport, I guarantee you whoever you just hit is going to be healthy like...now. I tried only using builds with sloppy butcher, thanat, etc, but that does literally nothing against these ridiculous boons that are continually spammed every SINGLE match. Now I have to just use NOED and hope endgame goes well bc you don't stand a chance without a one hit down or consistently reliable mobility in this game anymore. It really sucks.

    She's basically Freddy.

  • @jesterkind said:

Blight himself is fine- his basekit is strong, but counterable and requires skill from the killer player.

Blight's addons, on the other hand, could use some nerfs. He has a bunch of really strong ones, especially Alchemist's Ring.

Blight's base-kit is too strong. He has one of the best kill potentials in the game, he has the best map mobility in the game and he is unbeatable if you go into a dead-zone. Most killers powers are completely negated in loops, Blight's power is at least somewhat usable. He just has no downsides.

If I used Blight without add-ons, he would still be better than 90% of the Killers with add-ons.

If the gens take longer a camper that's tunneling is guaranteed to get a 4K with no problem a camping/tunneling killer can get a 2K know with no problem.

So yeah I agree the changes would have to come together but, it's something that's not going to happen and if it does it will most like be when there's a game that's giving DBD competition.

I agree. Killers are not going to get serious buffs because they can first-hook: face-camp and tunnel-off-hook-till dead to get easier kills. And there are killer players using these tactics because they aren't good enough to play any other way and have shoe-horned themselves into using these tactics because if they try anything else, they get 4 man escapes. The slightly-above 50% kill ratio killers are currently getting is showing the developers that there is no need for killer buffs.

You say killers are weak but the killer stats say different.

If killer players are getting kills from camping and tunneling to get a 4K why buff killers then?

It's the same reason why they won't do anything about the gens. Can't nerf the gens if killers are going to camp.

This is exactly what I've been saying forever. Blame first hook face-camping and first hook tunneling-off-hook-till-dead killers for your pain. As long as they can get easy kills using easy skills, your games are going to suck.

I wish my solo q games went like this. I get these kind of teammates, like 2 in 10 games.

The rest of my games are 3 or 4ks as I do an average of 3 gens myself.

Of course, switch back to killer and I see the gens fly......

It does seem like this sometimes. But if you actually keep track, you'll see it's actually evening out. to about 2k/2e. I played a brand new Sadako last night with a bad selection of just a few perks and got a 4k, next game, with Hag and full perks, I got 2 hooks. Honestly, I could have camped the survivor in the killer shack and got one kill but really wasn't feeling that try-hard.

I wish it had an effect similar to Mettle of Man where you could tank a hit for a brief window of time instead of dashing forward, giving you deep wounds + the typical speed boost upon hit if you predict correctly and bait the killer into hitting you during the proposed super small window of activation.

LOL, yeah, I'd love to see Dead Hard switched to that. Talk about Killers losing their minds then.

While a Rift is in progress when you gin a Rift Level or just get progression towards your current Challenge you have to wait for the various bars to fill up before you can use end game chat even though the chat entry line is not visually blocked by the pop-out for the Rift stuff.

Please remove the "always on top" priority of this pop-out so that we can use the end game chat right away and THEN check our Rift progress if we want to. There have been several games where I've wanted to use chat right away but had to wait for the animations to finish and by then either the person I wanted to say something has left or there is already a conversation going on from the people who didn't have as much progress as me and I need to play catch up.

We have a very limited amount of time in end game chat before the server shuts down so wasting ANY of it feels bad. Whereas I can check my Rift progress after the game is done at any time I like so it is not time sensitive.

    Agreed.

I can't see anything with chat at the end of the match with all the stuff that pops up on that side of the screen.

Ik we don't agree often but I'm 100% with you here. There's absolutely zero warnings in-game, on the EULA, on the box art- nowhere. The only mentions of epilepsy are from other people warning others that it can be potentially triggering.

OP may have been irresponsible in this specific scenario, but that doesn't mean BHVR shouldn't do better anyway. If they can't remove the issue then the least they could do is provide a clear warning that's easily accessible to many people- hell, Pokemon does it better by specifying basic reading is needed to play the games.

BHVR should put a photosensitivity warning at the beginning of the game with a check-box acknowledging that you have read and understand the warning.

But I'm kind of with @Voodoo_Thirsty, people need to start taking personal responsibility with things like this and not rely warnings to protect them from obvious dangers. I don't know anyone with epilepsy and I've always known that you don't play video games because it can induce seizures. Once you've been diagnosed with epilepsy, you need to be extra careful with your health, you can't risk your health by expecting the entire world to insulate you.

Comparing him with Billy is not good comparison, simply because Billy has insta down and it would be borken if he could move like Blight from the same second he chooses, Billy can loop, just not on the some ties, like Blight, there are a bunch of loop when you just have to go with M1, his downside is that if survivors play safe, around the loops and pre drop he will be forced to break the pallet because his power is literally useless there. Why is it a bad thing if a killer doesn't have much downsides but has a clear counterplay? It's dumb if killer has many downsides and on top of that he has strong counterplay, and on top of that you are comparing Billy with Blight who clearly needs a help for long time. Base kit Blight is the most balanced killer in the game and that should be the standard how strong killers are, with clear counterplay

But that's the thing, his power really isn't even useless in loops. If the walls of the loop are long enough, he can use his power before you can reach the end of the wall and hit you. He can flick around corners and hit you in loops. And if you are really good, you can flat out use his power to navigate a loop. With Blight not being my main, I have been able to navigate loops with his power active and I haven't play him as much as I have Billy. I wouldn't dare use Billy's power in a loop.

  • @vladspellbinder said:

So I've been running the latest "Escape chase within 20 seconds after falling from a great height while using Balanced Landing two times in one trial" challenge for about a week and a half now, with one game off because I needed to open a gate as Leon and he doesn't have it yet, and I keep getting flat maps.

My latest game was on Wreckers' Yard and there was one hill and the truck, and I'm not even sure if the truck drop counts as "a great height" because that is a bit inconsistent. I once had backer-backer games on Shelter Woods which has NO drops at all, not even a single hill, except for the stairs going down to the basement and that's not really useful in most chases.

With the way some of the maps spawn running Balanced Landing is a high risk, because it is the only Exhaustion Perk where the map R.N.G. can mean you don't have a chance at all to use it. Please fiddle with tile spawns a bit so there are consistently more "great heights" to fall from.

I agree, there should be more hills, tractors and such.

In fact, I really think the developers should consider adding a map piece that is a small rock about the size of a barrel that you can jump off of and another map piece that's an overturned barrel with a board you can run up and jump off of.

  • @Maperson said:

Low skill celling, just proves that you absolutely never played Blight.

Don't you ask yourself sometimes when you are making threads like this, if you keep nerfing killer that are strong, how many people will actually play the killer role? How long would your q be? Blight is a strong killer that has very good, consistent counterplay, just because you can't best him it doesn't mean he need a nerf.

Oh, I absolutely play him. I also main Trapper, Billy, Plague, Twins, Freddy, Hag, Cenobite and have dabbled in all the other killers. When I say he's easy, I mean he's freaking easy.

Let me compare Blight's map mobility and power to Billy's since their powers are very similar.

    1. It takes me several seconds of revving to activate Billy's chainsaw, I can instantly activate Blights power.
    2. When I'm going to the other side of the map with Billy, I have to avoid every single tree, barrel and wall. To get to the other side of the map with Blight, I just run in a straight line vaguely head toward an object once in a while to bump into. The addon that slows down the recovery from a collision makes getting around objects easier if you are having any trouble and it's a yellow addon.
    3. If I hit anything with Billy it takes forever to recover. Hitting something with Blight is part of his power.
    4. Curving with Billy is very difficult. Curving with Blight is easy.
    5. Looping with Billy's power is pretty much impossible. Looping with Blight's is somewhat hard. This is literally the only thing Blight doesn't excel at. His power is only somewhat effective at looping. Take Billy, Wraith, Trapper and a whole host of other killers and their powers do nothing for looping.

I mean, what is Blight's downsides? He does everything. At least the other killers have downsides.

From what I've understood, each killer would have their own SBMMR but there would be a baseline set for killers you never played, from ones you have. But, it seems like that baseline is also across killers you do play.

As someone who has had a seizure in the past and is still prone to it, a video game like this is fine, but when you look at something as fast moving as a flashlight click, from what I understand the brain just can't register it and causes a seizure, but idk the full tech behind it, all I know was to avoid flashing lights, and getting hit in the face, and none of the games I played were "flashing" constant movement of stuff isn't considered "flashing"

I'm surprised you would play this game because of The Doctor. Also Sadako? Isn't he just as bad as the flashlight clicky-clicky, most times the clicky-clicky doesn't even hit me in the face when I play killer and it's very rare when I see it. How about the flashlight blind, I could see that causing seizures.

  • @GoodBoyKaru said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2833094#Comment_2833094

Except face camping and tunneling off hook doesn't post a serious risk to those with photosensitivity.

People say that clicky-clicky is bad for those who are photosensitive, however would people with photosensitivity actually play this game. Video games are bad for people with photosensitivity in general. This game is actually horrible for people with photosensitivity because of flashlight blinds, heck even Sadako is basically a epileptic seizure waiting to happen It seems like playing this game with photosensitivity would be about the same as placing your hand in a blender and expecting to not get hurt.

Not to mention The Doctor. I find it really hard to believe people are having seizures off of clicky-clicky and not going against The Doctor.

  • So you would self-care through sloppy butcher?

  • I'm kind of curious, what would you do through sloppy, just run around hurt?

  • @Salinero said:

If we can kill ourselves on the hook, why not when the killer actively slugs you so you don't even get to play the game and have to wait for him to get the other survivor or pick you up and hook you when you are almost dead. It's just a waste of time when there's 3 gens left and you have no chance to escape that way anyway. so for the love of god at least add a way to get out of the game because waiting for 5 minutes so the killer can cheat his 4k is annoying.

Let survivors commit suicide after 1 minute of bleed out. Make it the exact same as if you were on a hook. After 1 minute of being on the hook, you can suicide.

  • @SharpSolid said:

    Hello,

Briefly, I have been playing this game since 2016 and 1.600 hours I have played. I can say I am kind of an expert. And hear me out here...

Eachtime you nerfed killers over the years DBD became an unbalanced game. It is so easy for survivors to survive, they are escaping like fooling around. BUT ARENT IT AGAISNT THE NATURE AND ORIGIN OF DBD? SURVIVOR MUST BE TERRIFIED, CHALLENGED, TRY HARD SURVIVE.

    ************************************************

Survivors are mocking killers, there is no adrenaline like it used to have back in early times. You nerfed over and over again every good things on killers. Starting first with Perks and then some Add-Ons and also even Offerings. Brighter Moonligt and Mori Offerings. We used to kill survivors as we pleased with it. Now it is useless just a showdown. What is the point IF we cant take any benefit of killing? Anyway YOU GOTTA BALANCE THIS GAME BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO PLAY AS KILLER, EVERYBODY GOES SURVIVOR. THE PROOF YOU WANT? CHECK THE MATCHMAKINGS. AS SURVIVOR YOU NEED TO WAIT 5 MIN. EVEN AS 4 FULL SQUAD BUT FOR KILLERS JUST 5-10 SEC. WHY? BECAUSE LIKE I SAID NOBODY WANTS TO PLAY WEAK KILLERS. THEY BECAME PATHETIC ON THE EYES OF SURVIVORS. WHY WOULDNT IT BE? YOU HAVE TO HANG THEM 3 TIMES AND FOR EACH OF THEM 4X3 = 12 TIMES... IN THE MEANTIME IN 1 HOOK TIME(FULL DEAD) 3-4 GENERATOR CAN BE REPAIRED. FUNNY THING IS DO THE MATCH AND YOU WILL SEE, UNLESS SURVIVORS FOOLING AROUND SO EASY TO REPAIR ALL THE GENERATORS.

    *************************************************************************************

THERE IS A PROBLEM IN BALANCE IN DBD AND PEOPLE REGRETS TO PLAY AS KILLERS NOW

    HERE IS ESSENTIAL BALANCE SOLUTIONS;

    1) When survivors took a hit Apply "Hindered" Status Effect till they heal-up(Because whiling bleeding like hell shouldnt be run as fast as healthy, there is logic)

    2) Bloodlust must open in first contact and level up every 10 sec. until Lv3(Because there are so much pallets and vaults, even If killer reachs a survivor around the map can reach randomly a pallet or vault before hit)

    3) Remove the heads up noise for repair skill checks and decrease %50 of skill check zones. (Because while repair instead of looking around map like repairing nothing, they should focus on repair. After all it will give more thrill and adrenaline to survivors on repairing moments)

    4) On the hook of first stage survivors are literally going toilet, grap a drink etc. FFS They are on the hook, about to die and hanging there like a "break time" but NO! This is absurd and prevent that Skill checks must start from the First Stage of Hook then must continue harder like in the Second hook stage.

    5) Last but not least... remove %50 of the pallets around the map. Back in the time they were valuable now they are plenty of em.

YOU MUST DO THOSE BALANCES OTHERWISE, NOBODY WILL PLAY AS KILLER AND GAME WILL DIE SLOWLY IN TIME. ESPECIALLY MAIN KILLER PLAYERS LIKE I AM. AND I AM EMPHASIZING 1 MORE TIME I HAVE JUST 1.000 HOUR KILLER TIME AND I AM HELL OF A PRO KILLER(Proven by screenshots)

    BEST REGARDS SHARP SOLID

Survivors should also be armless and legless!

If you drop a god pallet or vault a good window, Victor literally can't get you.

You do know that Victor can jump over pallets and through windows??? LOL

  • You won't spend time arguing with him because he's right, you have absolutely no argument to make. You have no data, in fact, the developers data shows the exact opposition of what you are saying, as every killer is above a 50% kill rate. Sad panda is sad.

  • @Sluzzy said:

Out of the matches played this morning, a whopping 80% of those the killer tunneled people out of the match. This is a very serious problem and has put the game's health in serious jeopardy. My last match was against a bad Huntress abusing broken hitboxes for an unfair advantage so as soon as I was unhooked, here comes an undodgeable hatchet and I'm back on the floor again.

I used DS but it didn't matter. She continued to chase me and because I got locked in an animation I had to suffer an uncounterable hatchet again. Why is this a thing?

For a game that is about 6 years old, this is a shame. Survivor is seriously lacking in ways to deal with tunneling. In every single patch ever released, killer gets a very powerful slowdown perk to deal with things they do not like. (Scourge Pain, Deadlock to name a couple of recent ones).

All of these perks that have given killers power creep but survivor can still be tunneled out of the match instantly. This makes playing killer a lack of any challenge because you can pick all of these extremely powerful perks for an advantage but still do things that was still possible all the way back in 2016.

Survivors need better perks for survival. The game shouldn't be so disadvantageous for one side. The player counts are dropping fast due to very unfair matches.

As much hate as you get Sluzzy, you are absolutely right on this one. (Honestly, I think a lot of the hate you get is because this forum is so crazy killer-sided).

And the other stupid game design decision is the fact that new players have absolutely no way to counter face-camping and tunneling-off-hook-till-dead until they pay cash for Laurie Strode (or get lucky with the shrine of secrets) and new players have to pay blood-points to open up the option to counter a strategy available to every single killer from the get-go.

  • Clicky-clicky is the survivors version of face-camping and tunneling-off-hook-till-dead.

Its the most annoying thing when survivors teabag you when they hit you with that unavoidable pallet or at the exit gate after they dead hard when your about to get them then teabag and escape or just in the middle of their toxic bullying of the killer its frustrating even with perks they dont realize there is another person on the other side they just rub it in I wish there was a more chilax mode without people because they are getting more toxic I feel like

Teabagging is like face-camping and tunneling. If you have fun teabagging, the teabag away.

  • @9InchDeck said:

I mean the only four perks you see on every Survivors will always be Dead Hard, Borrowed Time, Boon: Circle of Healing, and DECISIVE STRIKE. While on the other hand, Killers have underpowered perks, and if there is such a good perk it would always be associated with a Hex Totem which is a bummer since I play mostly as Killer. And better yet, I don't understand why the matchmaking system of this game always gives the highest of ranks despite the killer being on a low rank. I mean, what's the use of the ranking hierarchy if it's not being used on matchmaking? There's gotta be someone who needs to fix this. It's annoying, specially if you wanted to grind.

The game is less stressful for survivors. However, on average, Killer gets more kills than survivors gets escapes.

It's kind of funny that the less stressful part of the game is the side that actually loses more often.

Far from useless, but is it worth removing a perk slot? "That, detective.. is the right question."

The developers should remove 2 survivor perk slots and just put Decisive Strike and Borrowed Time, base-kit. You pretty much have to have them anyway because of Face-Camping and Tunneling-off-hook-till-dead.

Plus the developers keep coming out with sh*t perks all the time anyway.

Corrective Action, Poised, Up the Ante, Left Behind, No Mither, Boil Over (Back on the sh*t-list again), Solidarity, Buckle Up, Repressed Alliance, Power Struggle, all the chest perks (Because you are 1/2 the time going to get a useless item with keys and flashlights, and the list goes on and on.

Poised let that perk sink in. You can't even use it in a meme build. How can a perk literally be worse than Monsterous Shrine.

This comes down to people mimicking the strategies of role models. Streamers and Competitive players who are playing to win have gravitated towards camping and tunneling because it's effective strategies to win. This leads to individuals who watch them feeling like those strategies are valid strategies that they can incorporate into their own play. And they're not wrong.

But I do think that it's a game health issue. When killers camp and tunnel, then people just stop playing DBD because it's not fun to play.

But I don't think MMR has anything to do with this at all.

I agree with you, from a game design perspective, allowing camping and tunneling to be so easy and so rewarding in kills for new killers and being so absolutely unfun with absolutely no counters for new players (no DS and BT), it's absolutely alienating new players from playing the game.

Decisive Strike is behind an cash paywall and Borrowed Time is behind a bloodpoints paywall.

If this game was run by another company, camping and tunneling would have already been addressed. This is just sad at this point.

  • She's a boring, overpowered, unfun killer. She also looks stupid. If she was chasing me through a darken forest with her stupid chicken-neck walking, I might just slap her silly.

  • @Waterfall said:

I mean at low MMR I’ve stomped survivors with Trapper who’s apparently considered the worst killer in the game. I’ve ran Bubbas before if you know how to use pallets and windows he isn’t that difficult to kite. Now his camping is without a doubt extremely oppressive but in chase he can be outplayed. Let’s be honest here survivors want Bubba nerfed to make the game easier for them. After Bubba they’d just complain about the next killer in line.

Trapper is not the worst killer in the game. He's pretty much in the middle. And he can snowball like a MFer.

How dare you disparage my killer!

  • @GoshJosh said:

So survivors need buffs? Since they “are nothing” without one perk not all of them use?

Agreed, obviously survivors have to run Dead Hard to compete as shown by the OP, survivors obviously need to be buffed.

I think the best way to buff survivors and remove Dead Hard is to get rid of all the one-hit downs killers have, Nurse and Blight.

It does seem like there's been a lot of survivor nerfs lately, DS then CoH and Boil Over. I don't think there's been any Killer perk nerfs in between all those survivor perk nerfs. Maybe it's time to nerf 3 killer perks. Maybe Ruin, Corrupt Intervention and Undying.

This is not true, young padawan.

In the beginning, there was no looping. Pallet camping was the strategy to go, that's why there was double or triple the amount of pallets we have today, like double pallets right next to each other, two pallets in jungle gyms etc.

Looping was discovered round about a year after release, many people "blamed" 72hrs for this ;)

Dev's even talked about this on their streams back then and how they can change tiles in regards to this new playstyle, that's when the whole "smaller hitbox debate" started.

Definitely an SBMM issue as well though, it encourages the worst type of playstyle and rewards it. End of the day games are meant to be fun for both sides, while theres definitely alot of issues in the game a SBMM that isnt based on skill causes big issues as well.

4ks has always been the hallmark of winning for killers. It's not something new with SBMMR. Survivor play was much-much worse with the old system because a you had high level survivors being put with low level survivors and the killer tunneling that low level survivor out of the match in 15 seconds. Almost every match had a low level survivor in it that was tunneled out almost immediately and the game wound up being a 3 vs 1. At that point it was a guaranteed win for the Killer so the killer didn't always tunnel and camp at that point. I guess you could just make it a 3 vs 1 game where the killer is always guaranteed a 3k and that will stop the tunneling and camping because killers know they will win no matter what they do.

  • Killer's totally legit suggestion for fixing survivors.

You're right. They need to address it by fixing bullshit map design

Technically, there's a whole host of game design issues that need fixed. That's why I think the game designers should be forced to play their own game 10 hours a week. I don't think they realize how bad some things have gotten.

Not my experience, people use to go for hooks and chases. Yet today just been full on camping, and anyone can beat camping but honestly who wants to even play it....

If this dont change I wont play, I'm sorry but running round and just hitting skillchecks for gens isnt fun. And if that's all this game is then uninstalled it shall be.

That's something I agree with you on but it's not an MMR issue. It's a big game design issue that the developers keep refusing to address.

  • You have to also consider the level you are in comparison to these killers. If you are seeing a lot of these killers, then you are probably reached a level of gameplay where those killers are hit a glass ceiling and are floundering at that level. What's unfortunately for you is that you will be forced using DS and BT to get past that level. Meaning 1 of your perk slots will always need to be dedicated to DS or BT.

Because NOED is not the meta.

I would say I see it enough that it is the meta, depending on how you define meta. Technically meta is "most effective tactic available", if that is the definition you are using, then it's iffy if it's the meta. If you mean that it's seen alot, then I would definitely say it's meta. I probably see it about 1 out of every 3 games.

Can the devs just admit kills and escapes is not a SBMM?

I mean everyone in the community at the higher level knows it and you're just encouraging a bad playstyle which results in unhappy players for both sides.

Killers dont enjoy the way they are forced to play to "win" and survivors dont enjoy it either. Why not have a actual SBMM that shows skill it would actually make people happier with your game.

You even said kills and escapes dont work, why put it in? Dont treat this game like a balanced 4v4, and dont compare it sports... in sports you dont need to score 3 times for a single point.

I'm not trying to be harsh, I'm just being honest. It's quite clear its unhealthy for the game and no one is happy about it.

And before people say "its because you're losing" it's not, most games I escape or get multiple kills. But the way its achieved isnt exciting nor fun, just because you can win doesn't make it a fun experience for either side.

Killers have always camped and always tunneled.

SBMMR actually helps you in that aspect, because Killers who are camping and tunneling are pushed up in SBMMR so that they go against players who can handle that type of behavior.

If you think about the fact survivors can deal with anything killers can do, but not other way around, this game is certainly survivor sided.

nothing toxic there, no one feel toxicity from calling nurse or blight strong, it's same thing.

Survivors who don't have DS or BT cannot do anything about Face-Camping or Tunneling-off-hook-till-dead.

Killers on the other hand can deal with anything survivors can do. Killers are not completely helpless against any strategy.

That's not a Blight thing. That's a stacked slowdowns on a strong killer thing.

Billy is difficult as hell and also barely gives any pay-off relative to the effort put in. Nurse is insanely difficult, but also gives a lot of payoff for mastery. Blight is difficult while less so than Nurse (because 115% and simpler to pick up Rushing, even if not using it well, whereas Nurse can't hit at all without her power), but is also limited because there are multiple tiles or loops he can't use his power on at all if there are no helpful surrounding objects because the structure of the tile itself doesn't allow for sliding/ideal bump logic. So some tiles, he's still mostly forced to be a regular M1 115% killer, and survivors who are aware of that will take Blight there. Same with things like Yamaoka shack, which Blight cannot slide on.

Who is stronger than Blight for that combo though. Maybe Nurse, but then again, you are running on a very difficult to use Killer.

DICE? I hear they did good work with Battlefield 2042.

DICE with Battlefield 2042 is :sad face:

I bet DICE employees feel about the same way as those dreams you have to being in front of class nude.

The difficulty from Blight comes from adapting to maps + mindgames with players who are experienced in facing Blight. Both sides have a lot of options. Blight can tackle a loop from a lot of ways (or only a few, depending on the loop and surrounding objects), and the survivor is also aware of that and both mindgame the other. It is just blatantly false to label Blight as low-skill lmao.

I'm sorry, I play Trapper, Freddy, Plague, Billy, Pinhead, Hag and Twins and have dabbled a lot with Huntress and Blight.

Blight is most similar to Billy and Nurse and both of those Killers require way more skill than Blight does. Blight is easy to pick up and use right out of the box and is very effective without add-ons.

Don't get me wrong, Blight is very fun to play as. But come-on: Tinkerer, Ruin and Undying makes the game a cake walk.

(However, I have recently picked up Face-Camp Leatherface and that's definitely easier).
