The problem now is that the perk doesn't balance your landing and therefore completely contradicts the name. It's now a d-tier perk at best and doesn't do anything but take up a slot as a sprint burst requiring specific things
So you're basing of how the perk works by its name? Damn.

so everyone whos played the dlc knows if u get hooked in basement your camera is permanently blacked out and you cant see anything. killers have been purposely trying to force basement in order to do this in games. but god forbid somehow basement ever gets disabled or its fixed within 24 hours making every game miserable for any team. this is equal to the old flashlight macro crashing peoples games.
im curious to see what you do devs.
Ah yes let's randomly ban players for not knowing this bug and not ban players that abused the Sprint burst bug and the wake up bug back then.
Let's just ban players for something that these developers keep constantly doing

Did I mention frames? Don't think I did

That date is just a placeholder ;)

So to rephrase to what you actually want to say is
Survivors should get all the points if the killer leaves (even though in the lore if a killer is not present the entity stops the trial by force, cause whats the point if there is no danger to the survivors and bloodshed for the entity to enjoy?) and killer should get none? Kk

They are improving, still making mistakes, but they are trying their best to make the game better SoonTm.
Yet comes the fact that they are making way more mistakes then improving. Like way way more mistakes that it basically Over-Shadows the improving part of it

Oh also
"Plwease nominator our game ;D"

And now they went out of their ignorance to put up a new tweet saying to nominate their game LMAO

Barely anyone is going to nominate them after what they pulled off in the past couple of days

While you're not completely wrong, I do appreciate a tested patch, so that I won't lose my (small) progress in level 3.
At least they could have done a backend update to fix the issue with the iridescent age challenge, but I guess they want everyone to suffer

Uh no, that perk makes sense to have a cool down. You wonder why no one is complaining about that perk having a big cool down? Because it is actually reasonable, keeps it from heavily being abused by SWF

YES PLEASE, ALL KILLERS FROM PC TO CONSOLE NOD YOUR HEAD AT THE END TO SIGNAL THAT YOU WANT TO HELP ON THE LAST MINUTE HERO CHALLENGE :D

I'm remembering only two weeks ago people were telling me I was being whiny for well... whining that the challenges ruin matches for someone who just wants to play the game and that it will just be over in a couple of days and if I really don't like it, I should just not play the game for the first few days.
Welp, here we are again.
lol

@Omans said:
If you don't like the challenges this much, don't do them. They are not mandatory...
I enjoyed the first 2 tiers, and looking at the third tier I feel I will enjoy doing this too. There is still so much time available to finish everything, too. Maybe people just don't like not being able to finish content within an hour of it being released.
I hope the devs continue releasing tomes like this.
So you hope the Devs promote bad health for the game and lore that are locked behind unbeatable challenges that no one will be able to do? Man, your mind is somewhere else.
You know why the archives was even a thing? BECAUSE PEOPLE WANTED MORE LORE, the lore we had for all the characters and especially the old ones had very little lore or no real backstory to it, but no, they had to bring in battlepass and stupid challenges that promoted bad unhealthy play styles for the game or just near impossible to do. Maybe if the challenges are there forever and they switch every so often but can still get some of the lore and yeah, not mandatory. But since they will be gone when the next Tome comes it is MANDATORY otherwise you get no lore and so you either did nothing for nothing or something for nothing.

but nahhhhhhhhh they are totally finneeeeeeeee........nah they are totally BS, we really don't know what BHVR was thinking

took me 4 hours just to get the unhook one, I'm gonna skip most of the survivor ones and just work through the killer branch. Each one on killer is taking a few matches or some grind.
Yeah, most killer challenges are just grindy or a little hard....but the survivors challenges are just.....like...something you can do once in a blue moon
-
All of the feedback about how almost (More like it is) impossible theses challenges are with multiple people making threads about and yet not ONE single Dev have comment or spoke about it on their twitter. Next thing you know they are gonna say
"We heard no such complaints about Tome 3"
Or
"We heard your feedback and made Tome 4 twice as hard"
-
Tome 3 is so much fun, have been going at Last Minute Hero for about 4 hours now my RNG is great :D
-
I mean look at all the archive challenges...

@Revansith said:
Then they need regular (unranked) matches where pips are not considered. Players enter at the rank they are and dont pip up or down, they just play the match against a que.
Almost all of us have been asking behavior for something like that for 2 years and have they said anything about it? Nope

@CakeDuty said:
Been trying for 5 hours now.. still haven't got it. It's just so luck based. First of all you have to make sure you get to the end game, then you have your teammates make it to the endgame too, then for them not to be death hook, then to not have them leave, if someone goes down you have to save them before the two other do and hope the killer isn't camping, once you get one save you gotta hope for someone else to go down and be able to save them.
I attempted this challenge as solo first, then 4 man SWF and that didn't make it any easier.. 5 hours of attempting and I just gave up for today.. really hope they've removed the 3 unhook from next Tome
Challenges are never supposed to be RNG base but I guess that's not how behavior looks at them

It does add more variety to gameplay but I don't think bhvr should promote the use of monstrous shrine. I do not think face camping the hook and perks associated to face camping hook is healthy for the game
There's gonna be a lot of face camping, basement camping and tunneling

@humanbeing1704 said:
The kill 7 obessions one is basically old dying light in a challenge
They are basically promoting tunneling

Been going at it for like an hour, and can't do it, and I swear half way I just don't wanna play anymore really want to DC but I don't want to depip and also because of the fact that my team is getting slaughtered woohoo so fun.....

@Keene_Kills said:
5 traps and 2 survivors in EGC is bad mojo. All of the "in a single trial" ones are just based purely on luck, plain and simple. You either luck into playing against consistently careless idiots on a wide scale or you don't; simple as that.
Survivor ones this go around, though... man. You have to have at least a 2-3 man SWF to dream of pulling some of them off.
And the devs' silence is absolutely deafening across the many threads relating these same feelings. I'll remember all this (and the bogus estimates of "1 hr per day to complete full Rift" BS) come time for the next set of Tomes/Rift. No way in hell I'll dish real money out on this again. They're crazier than a crap-house rat.
Not to mention that they said that these challenges are supposed to be meant for """"average player""""

You'll have to forgive me since I don't have time to read through the whole thing right now, but:
I only thought I'd address this now that I finally have the PROOF that Demo is not a powerful killer. As per the stats released, at red ranks, Demo fairs very poorly, having the SECOND LOWEST kill rate in the game, just barely above The Clown.
We said it in the stats post and I'll say it again here, you should not draw conclusions from those stats. They are about as broad as they get. They don't show details and account for any amount of factors. To give an example, he's just barely below the Nurse and the Huntress, two fairly powerful killers. Are they bad too? I feel like most people would say no, they just have a learning curve and there's a lot of people who don't regularly play them will pull those numbers down.
The Demogorgon is in the same boat. His shred attack takes some practice to use well (timing, aiming) much like the Huntress. In the right hands, he can still do well.
Ah here we go again, ignoring a good post that could help a mediocre killer.
OP said add your thoughts onto this and such and have this taken around your team and what did you do? focused on that data chart and made everything else the OP said completely irrelevant. Good job, you guys are great devs.
His shred has no learning curves at all nor learning curves when going against it, if someone has turned a corner, that's it, that's the skill right there, wow so skillful I turned a corner. Even when a Demo has you out in the open all you have to do is make a left juke or right juke, nothing skillful there, no learning curves cause everyone can do that, and there is no timing involved with it either.
Demo literally only punishes people lightly if they run in a straight line, that's it.

There’s nothing wrong with her face. Beauty comes in all forms. If you don’t like the way she look then don’t use her or buy any cosmetics that she get.
Stick to the other survivors that fit your standard of beauty.
Im not saying I don't like the WAY she looks, im saying how she looked in the trailer to what they MADE her look like in game which mostly doesn't look like her
Big difference in with some character coming out of nowhere looking ugly (Cough nea/Quentin) and a beautiful character looking young but yet when it comes to in game looks like she is 80 years old.

If you know how to play against billy then you are on a good start.
Remember, The Oni heavily capitalizes on survivors mistakes, so if you not aware on where he is at all times, he will get you.
Long loops are good against him as well with windows, but a good Oni can sometimes play around that so you have to play smarter.
Don't worry about letting him hit you (Of course not saying you should let him hit you), you will end up using way too many pallets early and leave none later when you really need it, just extend the chase like normal, that is the one mistakes I keep seeing people do in matches, because they don't want the oni to hit them and gain more power, when really, they are setting themselves up for bigger trouble later on.
When you hear the cue sound of him going into power, be careful and think about your surrounding, this is where most players fail to do.
You have to be prepared when he is in his power, because he could come where you are at, at anytime.
If you want to be extra cautious, when you hear the oni go into his power, get away from your objective and get somewhere safe, a building, pallet, windows, long loops. If he finds you, never do loops that are short, he will get you very easily that way. Loop him as long as you can, make quick sharp turns as you can and only use the pallet when you know you can stun him, otherwise, he can get rid of that pallet very quickly.
If you are sure you can rely on your reaction time and map awareness, then stay at your objective, once you hear the slightest of a heart beat, remember what you have around you and use it and hide the best you can, if you feel like he is gonna find you then look for a nearest building, long window/loop and do the best you can from there
Again, remember, The Oni heavily capitalizes on survivors mistakes, so if you are not aware of where he is or could be, he will get you, if you stay out in the open, he will get you.
If you don't decide to heal, he will get all of you.

BHVR is too scared to buff something cause when they do, its too OP or they are scared of making a viable killer
But too lazy when it comes to nerf and end up band aiding everything thinking its okay.

Don't even get me on about her nose

2016 and 2017 would like to disagree on your post

Love how the dev simply responded you with like 3 paragraphs that basically repeated the same thing over and over again "too many factors" and it's even worse when they didn't even give a proper answer to everything you asked for, more or so, sounded like they wanted to ignore it and not deal with it.

Ah, I had no idea! Any idea when we can expect this change to go live?
You wonder why most people on this forum think BHVR is so shady at times? And why we lost half of our trust with you guys?
Because you guys don't fully answer anyone
Because you guys don't give proper answers
Because half of the time when something is going wrong you guys are very vague about it
Don't give us proper information
Don't show us any statistics to see ourselves so we could tell whether a killer is "overperforming" with other factors
Easy to make a meme out of "pretty good job so far" "soon" and now "overperforming" so we can't take all of you seriously
Haven't talk about any recent optimization for PC OR even for console and it's been getting worse for console.
Think that PTB is "proper" information to get to see if a killer/perk needs buffs or nerfs, especially on your case since of how your PTB works.
Nerf or buff things out of nowhere when no one asked for it.
And simply, most of us and me included don't see you guys as real developers. You just don't act like one (yes developers can fool around here and there but there is a balance), don't handle thing like one etc etc

@Almo said:
What usually happens with SWF is that they get super-altruistic and refuse to leave the match unless they can get everyone out. Only at very high ranks and with SWFs that play together a lot is there much of a benefit in terms of escape rate.
That does not mean we don't want to do some things to make the solo experience better. As someone else pointed out, that's the reason for the Kindred buff.
Perhaps escape rate isn't the right metric, as SWFs can be more annoying to play against even if they don't necessarily escape.
Heard Oni is doing pretty well against SWF team, any planned nerfs so all survivors can bully him? ;)
