It is more newbie friendly than it used to be, imo at least. They have all the different status effects lit up, Totems are explained better, and that Tutorial is pretty decent at giving you the basics. DbD has a much higher learning curve than most competitive games. You aren't going to come right into it and make all kinds of awesome moves. I find this one of the appealing parts of the game because at higher Ranks, you are running into people who play it because they enjoy it.
I've had quite a few matches where people quit and the Killer let me, and whoever was left, farm a bit. Depending on the Killer of course, most just want to get to the next game. It always amuses me that people say "Doctor isn't fun to play against so I DC." Which means you just ruined the match for the Killer and whoever was left in the game. Selfish in the extreme imo. Play the game, suck it up, and then move on to the next. I lobby dodge people who I see do that though, because usually they are toxic idiots and just want to ruin everyone else's fun by BM'ing the Killer and pissing them off.
I think part of the problem is that no one is patient enough with the newer players to help them out. They'll trash talk them in post-game instead of trying to offer some advice. Same in pre-game chat. At low Ranks, it helps to be a bit friendlier and give those new to the game a bit of help. Once they get over that initial hump, they may just love the game and become a good player. Being a dick when you're playing at Rank 14 or lower is pretty ridiculous. Love these pieces of human garbage who think it's okay to trash someone just because they are new and aren't that sure of what they're doing.

I just finished doing some Prestiging on my Survivors. Started at Rank 15, because apparently that's all the further you can derank from reset. I didn't notice anything different than prior runs as a Survivor. You get a much larger mix of experienced and potato players, but that goes for the Killer side as well. From Ranks 15-10ish, this is your standard mix.
From 10 and up, you get more experienced players and only some idiots. The idiots at these Ranks though tend to be the ones who want to teabag, flashlight, then DC when they get caught. I ended up at Rank 2 at my highest, think I'm at Rank 3 or 4 atm now though because I ran into major issues when I P3'd Dwight and had no Perks to use as crutches. We'll Make It, Urban Immersion, and Lithe make it so much easier...
One DC at Rank 15 means absolutely nothing. You can still rake in 15k+ BP and at least a Pip at that Rank. Even at higher Ranks, up until around Rank 8, you can consistently Pip and Rank up with only 2 other teammates. You won't escape most likely, but Pipping is a joke with the emblem system. Just do your own thing, go for saves when you can, and play smart instead of trying to be the Loopmaster Juker so you can show off on YouTube.
By the way, if a Survivor gets hooked in the first 10 seconds, you now have a chance to get a safe unhook + Altruism scores with the healing afterwards. Look for opportunities everywhere you can find them and you'll rank up, and level up, quickly. You only need a couple gens, an unhook + a heal, and a little chasing to pip. That's a pretty decent score as well.

Should wiggle every time so the Killer doesn't have their choice of hooks. Even though there's one right next to you, if you don't wiggle the Killer may decide it's Basement Time. It should reward points though. Seems pretty pointless most of the time, but BP being awarded would make that A and D spamming useful.

Her hitboxes were buggy before, but now they are nonexistent completely. I've played against 1 Huntress since the new Chapter came out, and I felt bad for her. Ran her around for quite a while because every hatchet thrown at me missed completely. Some that definitely should've hit, just went through me and I could see their impact on the wall/obstruction in front of my body.
She didn't need any buffs/nerfs imo at all. She felt good from either side. Now though, she's worthless when her power is so useless. Worse than the double stun on the Nurse.
-
@Eveline said:
I dunno tbh. If someone brings the killer to me while I'm doing gens or I was already hooked twice and I'm injured, I get pissed. They should think about others when they pull stunts like that. They do think about this, and realize that a Killer is going to be more interested in downing/sacrificing you then about downing them if they still have another hook stage. It's a good play on their part even if it's a dick move.

Don't run Obsession Perks if you don't want to be the Obsession. Otherwise, it's a 25% chance. Pretty good odds so far.
Love the fact they added something of a counter to DS's ability to give you a free escape at the end of a match. SWF teams running someone with OoO also have a bit more danger as well. The Perk itself feels pretty balanced imo, although I really hate it when I get picked since I never run Obsession Perks. Adds a bit of spice to the game, and makes you rethink your strategy when you are the Chosen One.
-
Played against enough Pigs to see that there are a number of ways to counteract gen rushing and such. She's only bad against loops imo, just like most other Killers. Early or late game trap setting can cause problems for Survivors depending on your build. Most successful Pigs I've played against used the Stealth situationally and instead of going for the Lunge they'd stand up right before the gen and try for a grab instead.
IIRC, the devs said that traps are for slowing down the generators and not primarily for actually killing Survivors. You're still supposed to give the Entity Its pound of flesh. It doesn't like it when you kill the Survivors instead.

Lowbei said:They should simply add a ui element that tells the lobby host “your ping is too unstable to properly host a match, are you sure you want to screw people over anyway? click yes to continue”
For lag switching they start a large download during the match so it looks fine in the lobby.
As far as killers with legit bad connections, you can see it in lobby before game so its kinda on everyone who stays for it.
You won't always see it in the Lobby. I've had numerous matches where it was a stable green ping in the Lobby, and as soon as someone gets in a chase the rubberbanding starts. Not just me btw, the other players as well. People should pay attention to how their games are going, and when all the players in the match are lagging, they should be smart enough to know maybe it's time to play Survivor because no one wants to play against a laggy Killer who doesn't have the bandwidth to support a match properly.
-
@Lowbei said:
In 2k hours ive seen quite a few. However, often its just the killer has a terrible connection, and shouldnt be playing killer at all, thus resulting in lag switch accusations.
This. My biggest problem with some Killers. They have a "decent" connection, but it turns into ######### when they are Streaming. I get that people want to share their games with others, it's a great tool to bring in new players, but if your connection is mediocre at best, you need to stop Streaming or stop playing Killer. Rubberbanding and Teleporting all over is annoying AF, and I don't want to be on either side of that equation. You ruin the game for everyone playing against you, and it's a pretty ######### way to get kills.
Either invest in a better connection, or play Survivor. It's what I'm stuck doing atm until I can upgrade the connection. Sucks, as I much prefer to play Killer, but it's unfair to anyone who would be in my Lobby.

Why not have Prestige'ing cause a deranking? It's irritating, and frustrating, to Prestige a character at higher Ranks and not have any Perks to face off against higher skilled people. Maybe Prestige could cause a derank of X% of your current or some other formula. Would make it a lot better imo, and make Prestige'ing attractive to people who don't want to lose their Perks and Items at their current Rank.
-
Does it proc on self-healing? I can see it being useful at lower Ranks, where new players might not have SC or a medkit, but if it only procs on other person heals... that's a pretty garbage return for a Perk slot. Better to run We'll Make It since most other healing will be done after an unhook.
-
Cut/Paste it all into a text file. Anytime you feel a bit down, take a look at it and realize that they are just upset because you won. Doesn't matter if you 4k'd or 0k'd, you've upset them enough that they had to trash talk to just to make themselves feel better. If they didn't have that outlet, their egos might have to take a good long look at themselves and understand that they just aren't as good as they think they are.
It's not worth reporting, as that stuff will most likely just be tossed as "Inconclusive" or "Not enough evidence". It's also not worth responding to those individuals. Just ignore the incoming whine missiles and smile to yourself. You've just made a Survivor frothing mad and ragey. That means you did a pretty good job.
On a side note, the anonymity of the Internet, and the pathetic social interactions we now call a society, are perfectly represented here on DbD. Crybabies who can't accept a loss, spoonfed lusers who can't function without someone shoving information into their brain, and an "If it makes it easier for me, I like it. If it makes me actually work a little for my reward, I hate it" attitude. Give them a "GG" and move on to the next match when you're ready. Just don't waste your time or emotions on these sad cases. They aren't worth a bent penny irl.

Never. I love the Swamp on both sides. The atmosphere is superb. I'm hoping for some type of Tropical Rainforest or similar for a new map in a Chapter. Maybe even some form of Aztec/Inca Temple structure with jungle on the outside edges and a 2/3 story structure in the middle in some fashion.its just too many objects and it so confusing when i play survivor
That's part of why I like it tbh. It doesn't have that sameness and boring look that places like Macmillan and the Corn do. It feels a bit more alive, and it suits the Hag's storyline perfectly. So far I'm really loving the look of Yamaoka as well. It's got a lot of variety to it, and I have fun everytime I play on that map. Lots of interesting nooks and crannies to get into. It gets a bit boring to run through corn and haybales constantly, or look at walls and some woods with a bit of an industrial type building in the middle. Pallet Heaven isn't too bad either. It has enough variety to keep it interesting each time I play there.

If anything, Killers should get a buff to Bloodpoints. I'm not talking a bonus for playing against SWF, but an across the board boost with an increase in the maximums. You have 1 person going against 4 others in an asymmetrical game. There should be an increase to the maximum a Killer can get, say up to 10k per category. With possibly an increase in various aspects of the game.
Hooking scores should be increased (doubled imo) but leave the transition point value the same. Would be another tool to alleviate some Camping since you get more BP for leaving and rehooking than just a transition as you toast some marshmallows.
Chase scores should be increased, a 50% bonus to the time in chase + a separate scoring event for a "Chase Hit" or a "Chase Down" keeping them separate.
Status Effect application should provide more BP than a normal hit, with multiple effect application being extra BP.
Devious scores by using your power should be increased 50%.Probably some other places you could add in more BP, but this would be a good place to start imo. Would need balancing and all that, my percentages are pretty generous, but I would think Killers should be able to earn 1.25 times more than the Survivor maximum since they are playing at a disadvantage. A lot of people play Killer because it is much easier to earn BP, but it still seems low considering the amount of effort you need to put forth to obtain it.

They missed their DS skillcheck that they'd been saving the entire match for a free escape.

WoW somewhat does have a point in this conversation since it's an easily identifiable source for Random Number Generators. RNG has been around a LOT longer than that though. The earliest games used RNG to determine if you hit a monster or not, for example Wizardry, and it's based somewhat on Dungeons and Dragons dice rolls.
Programmers usually base them on something, check Wikipedia for examples of this, so diehard mechanics can figure out how to fool the RNG at times and force specific "rolls". They might also be a simple random grouping of numbers, Final Fantasy XII had this, that the game would pull from when a die roll was called for. All that being said though, they aren't really all that random, and you will not get anywhere near the results you would if you simply rolled dice in your home and compared it to the RNG output.

SWF destroys nothing. There is 100% nothing wrong with it. You should be allowed to survive with your friends, and of course it brings in more money because they sell 2-4 copies instead of just one.
Voice Communications are what causes problems with the game. Information in the game is key to winning. Knowing where the gens are, where the Killer is at, where the Killer placed traps, what Perks they are running, where are totems at and how many are done, and all the numerous other bits of information that you can use to gain an advantage as a Survivor. This can all be communicated from one member to another, and it completely negates many Perks that should cause problems with information gathering. Third Seal is a Perk that I liked the description of when I first started playing Hag, then I considered SWF and realized it will be mostly useless other than being bait to keep Ruin/DH active.
The fact that the voice communications are done by third-party software to give a massive advantage to people over a solo queued Survivor and the Killer apparently means nothing though. It is pretty pathetic that a third-party program can completely negate multiple Killer Perks, give the players using it multiple Perks without having to use a slot, and yet nothing gets done to compensate solo players or the Killer.
-
Devour Hope worked better before they added the Survivor hand holding to it. When it used to not give a message about the Exposed state, people actually had to pay attention to what was going on in the game. Now though, any possibly Killer surprise is negated by that ridiculous notification.
Dumbing down the game in this fashion is good for low ranks, definitely a worthwhile addition to Rank 15 and under, but above Rank 15 these notifications should not be given out. By then, players should have an idea of what's going on and should be able to adapt. Spoonfeeding this information and the ridiculous hand holding that goes along with it is foolish in a competitive MP game like Dead by Daylight.
That being said, totems shouldn't be lit up like a Christmas Tree at all. They should all be in a "dull" state so that Survivors have another objective to do. Watching what the Killer is doing will give you a good idea of where a Hex Totem is located, and then you can work on taking it down from there. That totem is a personal thing between the Killer and the Entity, the Survivors should not know which one it is until they break it.
-
SWF isn't always toxic. I'd suggest playing every game you can just to get better. It might be frustrating, but going against the "I am a lonely basement dweller with no friends so I try to feel good about myself by bullying new players" SWF groups will really help you in the long run. Just don't worry about winning the match. Work on aspects of your Killer gameplay that need some polish.
Lobby dodging is just giving into the fear. You can learn a lot more about playing Killer by going against these types of groupings than you will facing 4 solo queue'ers with less than 20 hours of playtime between them. It sucks, and can be very frustrating, but the matchmaking in DbD has been a hot mess since it started and the way they calculate it with SWF is ridiculous. SHould be based on the highest Ranking player. Then you wouldn't have this problem at all.

Look I love this game and yes even if the spirit is not what is cracked up to be I may buy her to support the game but that's neither here or there, every nite lately always the same map or the same killer, what's up with that? makes me play less,,,,,and it has and yes I'm playing less can we get that fix,,,,, what do you guys think.I haven't gotten Mothers Dwelling in a week but have gotten Sheltered woods 2-3 times in a row and Thomson House every other match. Honestly this is why map offerings exist!
I got that thanks but map offerings don't give you more blood points and most of the time they are the last offering you use when you got nothing left
I use map offerings when there are 2-3 Claudettes in the Lobby and at least 2 Flashlights. Roughly 75-80% of the time, a large majority at least, they are toxic SWF and looking to go to Haddonfield to bully the Killer. Multiple times I've had them all DC after load-in due to my map being chosen. Extremely amusing, and everytime there were multiple DCs the Killer took it easy on those of us who were left and joked about it in post-game. The times that they actually stayed in were even funnier as they spewed toxic rage at me for "ruining their fun" in post-game.
If you find yourself getting the same map multiple times in a row, it might be worthwhile to burn an Offering. I'll do this when that happens and it seems to appease RNGesus enough to give me a nice selection throughout the rest of my playtime. Probably just luck on my part, but I swear the game can get locked into a specific map for the Host and you need to burn a map Offering to break it.

The Kandarian Demon from the Evil Dead series with Ash as the Survivor. While I would shudder at them getting the Freddy treatment, the series is my #2 favorite of all things horror, there would be so much fun to be had with these two. Ash with chainsaw + shotgun would be the Survivor dream addition, and the demon with the ability to infect the Survivors and turn them against each other would be the Killer dream addition. Perfect!

Remember to give them props at the end of the match. The devs do keep track of those numbers. This I do for any Killer where I enjoy the match, farming or otherwise. Always rate them, and if it was a lot of fun they get props from me with the usual "Fun to play against" or something similar. Dunno if any of that ever gets back to the players though, which is something that might be worthwhile for the Devs to do. Killers might be a bit happier if they knew X number of people enjoyed their match, or that they averaged Y rating out of their matches for the season.
-
I'm assuming you are talking about Experience for your Player Level, and not BP. I think there is either a cap, or the experience gained tapers off tremendously. The most I've gotten was 580'ish, might have been 584, but I can't remember. Then the emblems on top of that. I've never actually gotten higher than that, even though I had a few matches that stretched for an extreme amount of time just due to the gameplay. It might be capped, but not positive.
-
That's what bothers me the most. As much as BHVR has had issues in the past, this time it is not their fault. Yet people want compensation for something they didn't cause. Get over the whole compensation and blame thing, and get on with your life. Sometimes you have to eat the turd sandwich. What would be more fair is if Xbox and PC players got compensation, say 100 shards per thread, for all the crying. Now that to me would be proper compensation.
-
Survive With Friends. It's actually an excellent concept, and is a great addition to the game, the problem lies in voice communications. By using Discord or whatever app, SWF groups get multiple free Perks and it actually circumvents many game mechanics. Since it's a third-party application, it should be considered cheating, but so many people use it that the Devs are too scared to do anything about it.
It's awesome to be able to survive with your friends, but the ones who abuse voice communications (cheat) cause so many problems because it is overpowered. Survivors who aren't on comms, and of course the Killer, are put at a huge disadvantage. They literally need to get rid of this cheating, but they won't because too many people use it. It's a shame too. The game could be extremely well-balanced just by removing voice communication, but until they do anything they do to balance it will be worthless.
-
Other than purposeful deaths, I've died once to an RBT. You have an enormous amount of time to get that thing off your head. About the only way you won't is if it's a large map, and you get garbage RNG for box locations.
Tell your teammates to stop popping gens if you get trapped. Most times I'll 99% them just to make sure my teammates have enough time. Give them an extra 30 seconds, and that's usually more than enough. Doesn't slow down the match either. If your teammates are stupid enough to pop 3 gens by the time the Pig traps and hooks you, then get ready for the tunnel because that Pig needs to kill someone immediately to have a chance.
-
Just suicide when it happens. Don't become the farm! Deny it!

There are other characters to play than Kate and Clown... level them up. Quit being such an entitled angrybaby. It makes the rest of us look terrible. whinewhinewhine I swear there are more and more people who can't see the good in things and just look at how they "got screwed".
Be happy they didn't delay the patch til the DLC was released. How's about your Double BP Weekend without shards uncapped? The Devs didn't even have to do the 2nd BP Event since the DLC got released within their timeframe, but they are being nice and reasonable. Maybe you should try that too instead of complaining that PC and Xbox users get a little extra. We damn well should considering all the whiny spam the past couple weeks from people about this.
-
Depends on your Rank. Right now more Killers are active, and some Survivors swapped over to Killer because you get easier, and more, BP that way. Best bet is to play Survivor for a while then check Lobby times again after a few matches. This is normal during a Bonus BP Event. Killer = Easy BP Button.
-
It's amazing how stupid people can get when there's an Event going on. I play normally no matter what happens, if the Killer wants to farm, I'm down for it. That's their choice though really. Have had some really awesome matches today with little to no idiocy. Except for that jackass who hid in a locker all match then suicided when the Killer caught him. That takes a special kind of stupid you can only get from mail order catalogs.
-
I would be 100% behind this form of Ranking if it meant anything. Right now, I want to stay in the middle Ranks for both Killer and Survivor. The only reason is because games are fun at that level. Low Ranks are way too easy for the most part, and high Ranks do not interest me in the least. Until they add in rewards or some sort of reason to Rank up, forcing someone to do so will simply cause them to quit playing until Rank reset if not permanently.
The other reason is because I am prestiging all my characters eventually. Going to go to P3 with everyone I care to level. I do not want to be stuck at Rank 1, getting 4k BP per match, with my P1 level 1 character. That is ridiculous to even expect someone to do that. If Prestige also cut your Rank in half, I would be more apt to like the no depipping, but even then you are going to be hurting to get BP after Prestige.
-
All Offerings should be hidden except for multi-person BP Offerings and multi-person luck Offerings. Will cut down on the DCs because of a "suspected mori".
-
If almost all Killers Camp, then why do I rarely encounter one? The only time people get camped in the majority of my matches is when they BM the Killer or we pop gens left and right. In the second instance the Killer absolutely HAS to get the match back under control. Camping will either help the situation or make it worse. There's no middle ground, but the Killer's best bet is to Camp. Why? Because Survivors will stop all generator work to go save their teammate instead of finishing those last couple gens and leaving. In the first instance, ######### that person. I won't even attempt to save them. Toxic douchebags should be Camped in every match.
There are many reasons to camp, and Survivors cause most of them. I'm not saying to not prioritize generators, but you need to be cautious when popping them. If you overwhelm the Killer, whoever is in his/her crosshairs is going to pay the price. As I get higher in Ranks though, I see less and less Camping because most Killers understand that map pressure is how to get the win. Killing 1 person does nothing, and the smart high ranked Survivors know to just do generators instead of wasting 2 minutes standing around looking for a safe unhook.
-
15k is a low'ish amount of BP for a Killer to earn. Consider 20k BP, which is roughly my average playing Killer.
20k for match
20k for Pudding/Streamers
20k for 2x BP Event60k right there. Then you add another 20k for each Streamer burned by the Survivors. 25k = 75k. Each scoring boost is based on your Match Score and then added to the total. If you're getting a regular 25-30k BP every match, you will have a massive amount of BP in little time.
-
They'll probably remove the Cypress Mori and make that part of all Killer's base kit. I've honestly never used one in all my hours, and rarely do I even bother with the Ivory. Too many people DC after the Offering screen or when I Mori someone the first time. Giving you the ability to kill that last Survivor without an Offering isn't OP though since all it is doing is reducing the transport time, hook time, and then the ending death sequence for that last player.
Only thing that would really be hurt by this is DS. If you saved it for that last ditch attempt to escape, you won't get a chance to use it if the Killer decides to mori you instead.
-
This game was billed from the start as 4 single Survivors versus 1 single Killer. There is absolutely no required teamwork in the game. You are not required to save, heal, assist anyone at all. This is why every single objective can be completed by yourself. The only caveat to that is that it is MUCH easier to complete your objectives if you help each other. You are not required to do that though, but it is a lot more rewarding with Altruism points and the like.
With the emblem system, the Developers have completely moved away from that idea though, as you are required to help your teammates if you want a double pip. Even a single pip can be difficult at times unless you score some Benevolent points. Now it is purely a teamwork game, and those who aren't on a team suffer horribly for it at times.

@Mringasa said:
Survivors have abused every mechanic that has been put in place to try and alleviate Camping. Why should they try any more? They put BBQ in to try to get Killers to leave the hook and look for other people. What happens? Survivors complain about it. Devour Hope requires you to leave the hook within a certain radius before the rescue. Can't really use it because totems get downed within a minute or two.Hiding behind gens and going within the radius of BBQC is abuse? Cleansing hex totems is abuse? I'm confused now because people always refer to the fact that BBQC is countered by smart plays, but it's abusive to do that now?
Because so many posts cry for BBQ to get nerfed or adjusted. Nice edit though, since you didn't include the rest of my post as to how to actually counter Camping. It's not abusive, but one of the main reasons Killers actually leave the hook is constantly being called on to get nerfed or adjusted in some form that would make it useless.
Perhaps I should have used another paragraph there. My point on the abuse is that every time they've tried to put a mechanic in to stop Camping, it gets abused by Survivors. BBQ and Devour Hope help to alleviate it by giving a Killer incentive to leave the hook. Countering them is not abusive, but if you suspect a Killer might camp, dangle some bait out there to give them a reason to leave. One reason they will Camp is because 3 gens just popped and they are now sitting in a hole in desparate need of someway to climb out.
Camping tails off in the higher Ranks because most Killers know it is useless. Higher Ranked Survivors know to bust out gens if a Killer camps. Then the Killer gets garbage BP and a depip because they don't rush the hook like idiots. The whole "Well it's not fun for one person" argument gets tossed out there frequently, but I have to tell you that having 3 gens pop on me when I am in the process of hooking my first Survivor is not fun at all either. As a Survivor, I tend to leave my first gen at 99% and go get the save done first. That way the Killer is not feeling the pressue, and will be more apt to leave the hook.
Smart plays, not standing around the hook with your thumb up your ass, is what stops Camping. By all means though, join the rush to get those sweet save BP after popping all the gens. Me, I'll be heading out the exit gate for 5k and let the Camper have his tasty 5k total, right up until the other people playing turn the hook area into a hot mess and completely justify his methods instead of playing smart and leaving with me.
-
It happens the first few times you face them. You can actually tell if you have a newer player in your Lobby because you'll get Killer specific tooltips as well during the load-in. Pretty sure you don't get them normally. Not sure the total times, but 5-10 seems about right.
-
I think someone mentioned in a post 4200 is the max needed per level, so roughly 8-10 matches depending on your exp gained. I usually get around 500-560 per match, plus that tiny emblem bonus. Right now I'm at 55, and it's about 6-9 matches per level, depending on my ability to not screwup completely. Check the Wiki for the actual requirements though, there are some jumps up in exp needed so you might have just hit that.
-
A bad unhook is not necessarily sandbagging. That generally occurs when someone blocks you into a corner and/or continuously blows gens or vaults/fast entries to draw a Killer to your location, then points you out. This is 100% reportable, especially if the Killer is ignoring the person doing it. I honestly have not seen it happen before, but I've seen videos of it.
There's also unintentional sandbagging, which I do more often than I should. Anyone I've done this to, I apologize profusely for it, but 99% of it is me getting excited and just completely ######### up. It does happen occasionally, so no use raging about it as long as it's a one-time thing and not the entire match.
Bad unhooks are NOT sandbagging because you still have a chance, albeit a microscopic one, of getting away. It depends on where the Killer aims, and who he targets. Unless the person who unhooks you purposely pointed you out to the Killer, they were just farming BP. In that instance, oh well, it's your loss and there's nothing you can do about it.
Myself, the first time someone does that, it's on me. Although I'll frequently try to unhook myself before it can happen so they are stuck getting hit by the Killer because of the animation. If I fail that or get hooked again, I just suicide and don't bother struggling. Move on to the next match because it's not worth the frustration.
-
Have you leveled up? You only get them when you level. You might have jumped experience needed to the next level so it's taking longer than usual.
-
Sandbagging is only reportable if the player is working with the Killer specifically. Them making stupid saves for WGLF stacks is not reportable. It's just something you have to deal with in the game. The devs knew this would happen when they put that Perk in there, and it helps to "balance" the game in their eyes since Killers get extra kills and it makes their stats fluffier.
Blame your fellow Survivors for being greedy pigs. It's one reason I'm starting to lean towards a horribly toxic solo queue build because frequently I'm in a match with people who only help their SWF buddies and ######### on the solo queue'ers. Not all the time, and I've had some fantastic SWF and non-SWF teammates, but I'm seeing a lot more focused solely on themselves and their friends.

Restrict SWF to Casual, put ranks there as well so people have their ego boosters. Then you make a true Ranked mode where each Killer and Survivor gets 4 Perks to choose from a random assortment, maybe a total of 10 Perks chosen randomly from their current available ones. Would be some fun times in that one.

If you earn 15k in a match, and you have 4 stacks of Tier 3 BBQ, here's the breakdown:
15k for match
15k for BBQ (100% with 4 stacks)
15k for 2x Bloodpoint EventThat's 45k before you add in any Offerings
For each Party Streamer (or if you use Salty Pudding yourself) you score an additional 15k
But if you used one of the other Offerings you're extra at the end is going to vary depending on the category and percentage. They basically just add together with each of their percentages being based on the Match Score.

Can't really use it because totems get downed within a minute or two.
Give Killers a reason to leave the hook. That's all you have to do. What's the number one reason to leave the hook? 3 generators just popped... HOLY #########! I'm about to get 4k + a depip. I need to leave and go put pressure on people to stop that crap. Instead, what happens? 3 Survivors creep up to the hook and crouch around looking like idiots while nothing to finish the game gets done. Ends up being a 3-4k instead of a 1k with the Killer getting boned.
STOP BEING SUCH IDIOTS AND GO DO GENERATORS! NOT EVERYONE HAS TO LIVE! IF THE KILLERS GET PUNISHED ENOUGH, THEY'LL STOP CAMPING! QUIT FEEDING THE CAMPFIRE WITH YOUR POOR GAMEPLAY!
ahem Tired of reiterating the same thing with each of these threads. If you feed the Killer, it's a legitimate tactic. If you punish the Killer, it stops and becomes a rare thing. Maybe they need to cut BP to 25% of current for unhooks and heals so it incentivizes Survivors to not be greedy lemmings and YOLO their way to a 4k.

Write the name down in a notebook. Remember it. Next time you play with that person, sandbag them til their anus bleeds green. Finally got my revenge on a certain person who farmed me in a match. The Killer thought it was funny AF post-game when I explained why I did what I did today. Joyous. :chuffed:

Does anyone know a Priest or something so we can finally exorcise these threads off the Forums? At least the PS4 issues gave people something to whine about other than Camping. Now back to the same old trash, crying about legitimate gameplay and people's inability to work around it.

It should be "######### You I Want My Bloodpoints" or "Die Solo Scumbag, Die" The second name is generally what happens to me.
