idk if its within their power to do that, asking steam/valve to take back achievements from a date and then sifting through players who actually did earn it within that time as well.
Dont think that is going to happen.
With Steam it's usually everyone or no one. I don't see anyone having the false achievement removed.

You can expect it to be fixed in 3-5 months
Very optimistic estimate

Ruin didn't break the game.
Ruin masked a broken game.
The mask has slipped.

Never really understood peoples thought pattern regarding Franklin's when it comes to keys. If you plan on using the key later on and the killer has Franklins... a smart thing to do is just stash it away in a spot you (and your SWF team if any) knows of. As far as tunneling the key holder, unless they brought an addon to keep the key, the key itself remains in play. I've seen plenty of survivors escape using their dead teammate's key, and I've done it myself as well.
Grave robbery is the best type of robbery.

Match lasted a little over 5 minutes, all 5 gens repaired and exit gates open. One chase lasted the entire game as they went looping around one pallet to the next, got hit, had someone else run in to body block. Were healed by the time the other survivor was hit, then they swapped again. Used a red syringe to heal in the middle of chase. Then walked out the exit doors. Didn't leave chase the entire game. How is that fun? Not hiding for one second, not having any reason to be afraid of the killer, and having a game shorter than the queue time. Eight pallets looped, not including windows. If you want to balance around what's frustrating, maybe start with that. Way too many pallets and way too short repair time on gens.
Sounds like two survivors had fun. Someday, all four can.

I had always thought it was an unspoken rule that once you hook a survivor, you move
It's not unspoken. It's the law, rtfm.

If DBD were to go away they would be hurting. Maybe not enough to close the company but it wouldn't be business as usual.

Find a small game where you can pause at anytime.
Switch to survivor and start searching for a lobby.
Play the other game while you wait for a match.
Easy games from now on.

Billy will be more balanced once the Devs rework his addons with possible slight tweaks to his basekit.

What if the sound bugs dont get adressed because bE want us to get used to them, so later they can state that sound bugs never existed :O
It's not the first time this has happened and it won't be the last. It takes them a good 6 months to a year to address it just for it to break in the next engine update.

I find it odd seeing the Deathgarden team at the beginning of their revamping of the game into Deathgarden: Blood Harvest progress so quickly. I believe they put out mini patches weekly. Something along those lines. I assumed the dev team was smaller (possibly not, who knows) than DBD's.
At the same time, those devs were determined to keep the game from dying, so that may have been the reason for such quick updates while DBD probably has a more consistent and stable player base that they don't need to desperately please or convince to stay. Not sure. I like your points here, though. Maybe one day this ideal system will come true... One day lol.
DBD has the benefit of being the first of its genre. DG made the mistake of marketing towards players of this game instead of a wider market. Not to mention the original release was around the same time as larger games were being released.

And what exactly is the easter egg here ?
A hidden room only accessible by one killer with a 50/50 shot the basement spawns in the correct spot.

Who had the brilliant idea to change rank reset to just 1 tier down? I mean, isnt that obvious that this will just make it even more easy to reach red ranks? If you want just one rank pool (which will be red and purple in half a year basicly) then remove rank at all, it makes absolutly no sense.
That's been my criticism of it as well.
The unfortunate reality is the player base is too small to fill the current ranking system. Lower ranks are starved of players due to lack of new players and upper ranks are full because it doesn't take much to rank up but a lot to derank down.
-
I think the chapter releases need to slow down to grant more time for bug fixes. The current patch system isn't working. Bug fixes come every chapter and mid-chapter patch but at the same time more bugs are introduced. We are lucky if we get one or two hotfixes between each major update and those hotfixes only address some game breaking bugs.
It is my belief that trying to keep verson parity between PC and console is partly to blame for this. Consoles have verification processes that patches have to go through before they can be implemented. This is not true for PC.
The Devs should adopt a patching system that bring multiple hotfixes to PC where they can be validated in live gameplay. Take those hotfixes and package them up in a single hotfix for console verification. This is something we see already with companies like DE's Warframe.
I don't see BHVR doing this though. This would break version parity between systems which would limit the wet dream of cross platform play that some are begging for.
It's somewhat sad looking how other games are handled. You look at Last Year with the small Dev team they have and they are pumping out hotfixes and balance changes weekly. Imagine how much better this game could be if the focus was on stability instead of mediocre chapter releases.

Survivor Fun
-
Its not that bad. Run perks that encourge other survivors to work on gens with you. That way they aren't completing gens on their own.
-
Think his chili is a little too bland for my taste.
-
I don't understand how.
OP says Stake Out is dead because it was only useful to find Ruin to avoid the skill checks. I only pointed out the perk is still useful in finding the totem early before it becomes an issue later.
-
I was saying, the perk isn't worthless. You would still need to get rid of the Ruin totem or even 5 dull totems for NOED.
Edit: Quoted wrong post
You don't seem to understand. My post is about Stake Out, not the power of Ruin. Read again please.
-
The only thing keeping this niche perk afloat was the presence of Ruin skill checks. Now that they're gone, I don't see any reason to use Stake Out.
Yeah, I'm off topic.
-
You don't seem to understand.
If Ruin makes it to the late game its all over. Survivors are as good as dead.

Sheβs still better then him if you can hit your blinks lol
Doesn't matter if you can hit your blinks when they go running off in straight lines and it takes 4 blinks just to catch up and then they skillfully dead hard wasting more time.
Edit: you can't even bait the dead hard because swing or not it's still 6 seconds of waiting.

Hey, leave the zoo animals out of this. They have nothing to do with it. The thread title is about Leatherbilly. I gave my opinion on Leatherbilly. It is you who is bring up other killers.
