How about we make even more survival scoring events? Or if you care about these 500(cause counting from when you usually will get saved) then they could/should just give it to you on struggle if it gets cut short.
-
Just it doing what Adrenaline does would be great. (waking you up when last gen is completed)
It would fit it's name too.

- Exhaustion addons are ok
- Exhaustion addons are strong because a lot of survivors use Exhaustion perks in his builds.
- Exhaustion perks are very good and potencially strong and thats why people use it.
- All potencially strong perks should have a counterpart or especial conditions (like mettle of men, Second wind, Borrow time, Deliverance, etc).
- My suggestion works as a counterpart of this survivor perks.
- If people normally didnt use those perks, Exhaustion addons will be a wasted slot.
- Survivors are not obliged to have those perks in his builds.
- Im trying to do Exhausted Status less specific and more generic. (Like oblivious status, broken status, etc)
All potencially strong perks should have a counterpart or especial conditions (like mettle of men, Second wind, Borrow time, Deliverance, etc).Yet MoM and Second Wind's drawbacks are so strong they make those perks bad...

Disconnecting to help is nice for that survivor but it's still a disconnect.

It's already in alphabetical order (sorted by perk rarity)
I agree it's a QoL improvement but I think it's fine how it is once you realize it's alphabetized
It can be confusing sometimes when you try to remember if that perk was green or purple tho.
-
Can you enlighten me how you can mindgame with it?
You basically tell survivor "HEY IM VAULTING!"

Cosmetics aren't great Devotion rewards since at the higher levels hardly anyone will have them. It would be a lot better if they gave a bloodpoint bonus instead. Maybe an additional 5% per Devotion.
Or one other idea i saw is to increase the bp cap for every devotion. That also would be nice.

- 1 Killers aren't leaving the game the way your trying to imply
- 2 A survivor wouldn't stop playing the game because of just 1 killer out of 19
- 3 If the killer can block swf teams then the que times for survivor will increase
1) The do, im one of them
2) They would, im one of them
3) I can clearly tell your bias towards swfs with that statment. What you forget is the queue will increase for the killer too. And the survivor has the option to queue solo if he would want faster queue, and the killer opt in for swfs. And dont tell me "why you want to punish survivors for playing with friends" because killers are being punished already with swf's since they were implemented in the game. You had your fun , dont you think its time for both sides to have a little bit of fun now?
Your case isn't always the case for all of them.
I wouldn't, im one of them.
Yeah and if the matchmaking increases then that killer will probably turn off swf blocking which results in nothing changing. (+IT WILL also increase matchmaking times for those who didn't turn on any options which is why im also against quickplay/ranked modes)
-
It depends on the time of the day for me.
-
Bond!
Having the ability to know where and what your fellow survivors are doing is a must.
And i usually also bring Iron Will. But that just prefrence.

Gunslinger is also about gambling.

The perk changes were meant to stay in touch with Steve's lore while also being useful.
Babysitter:
Steve is normally around the kids in the show and gives a lot to protect them.
Camaraderie: Steve is always in touch with people in action sort of moments.
Second Wind:
Steve pulls through a lot in the show, but he also gets his ass kicked a lot at the same time.
Okay... you missed useful on babysitter. Unless you want that boost on bloodpoins

The exposed status effect is in place because you heal a full health state. It's 5 seconds faster and you move 3% faster for the time.
Then... revert it to 30 and without haste?
-
Babysitter: Wouldn't it be worse? Or atleast even more combo relevant?
Camaraderie: Decent.
Second Wind:
If you heal from injured to healthy, you will suffer from the exposed status effect for 12/11/10 seconds.Just why? -

No, which makes sense. But it still removed borrowed's endurance status so it slightly confused me. Although, that makes sense since you shouldn't get another hit in deep wound.
Oh, so Mettle activated first?
So yeah that's entirely diffrent from how it used to work a couple months back.

A whole lot of them do from my experience; their item-less idle animation is different, even if its subtle
I actually just went over everyone for personal knowledge. (just to be clear, i know with most of these you can already see their item, even keys, but just wanted to actually see how those animations change for future refrence) Also note: these are all from survivor's lobby perspective. So:
- Original 4 (Dwight, Claud, Meg and Jake) have the same animation for having and not having an item
- Nea's animation changes - if she has an item, she no longer puts her arm on her other arm.
- Bill's the same
- If David has an item he no longer does that scratching of his nose.
- Laurie's and Ace's animation are the same
- Feng's entire standby animation changes - her arms are no longer crossed
- Quentin loses his idle animations, same as David.
- Tapp seems to lose one of his idle animations, where he puts his arm on his neck.
- Kate's, Adam's and Jeff's remain the same
- Jane has a clear diffrence, similiarly to Feng, one of her arm is no longer on her hips while in standby animation. Also she will no longer use her hand to put it near her face (cause she holds an item) in her idle animation.
- Ash's the same
- Nancy will no longer hug herself if she has an item
- If Steve is holding a key or a flashlight his animations are the same. If he's holding something else his tool hand will instead be on his side instead of his hips.
- Yui's animation is the same
- And finally Zarina - Her animations don't change.
So there's that.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Honestly im fine with it the way it is. You can tell if they have a key, not by their hand, but by their body stance. It changes when they hold an item, and if you can't see an item then it's probably a key.
In-game though, I'd like it if keys were bigger and brighter.
Not all characters work like that.
-
The question is, when you got hit did your screen became bloody and did you have to mend?
But yeah i think Borrowed used to overwrite Mettle... (which then in turn made it so you cannot use Borrowed and Mettle in a sequence)

So, your solution is not to punish toxic players, but for those of us who are not like that, to remove an option from the game. They should be punished in some way, not that the solution is for me to disable an option in the game.
Don't put words in my mouth.
You should report them and then just leave the lobby/turn off the chat. They should get punished for this.
-
Post it in bugs!
-
It's fine as it is against a very specific niche.
-
You know that's not how bugs work right? Also also on their q&a they said they want to make camping less appealing. However they won't ban you for it.

Turn off the chat.

It is possible just people do toixic stratergeis so almost impossible and what is PWYF
i was using deerstalker, nurses calling, enduring and hex ruin
Play with your food. You can't stop people from being asses
Your build is mostly useless if you want to do Evil Incarnete. You should run: Play With your food (his teachable, this is a must for this achievements), any tracking perk that just works (Spies from the shadows or Whispers) and a slowdown gens perks (it used to be ruin but now it's Corrupt Intervention). Your last perk can be whatever but it can't be something to do with hitting and downing (cause you won't be doing that anyway).
Get his 2 red add-ons and hope for survivors that won't do locker thing. And M1-ing someone is mostly a waste of time so i wouldn't bother. You're going to instakill them anyways.

Let's just make Feng Min the animal person, she'll receive only animal cosmetics from now on.

no she was nerfed .

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZX0qPVgp5hE - 4:18 ( 2020 )
here I put last years gameplay and this years , despite the "buff" you said the developers put you can clearly see what I was talking about , the bile stream is much more straight in the 2019 version and it is longer by about a 1/3rd so despite being buffed she is weaker then when she was released . in the 2019 video pause at 21 , you can see the stream is twice as high and 1/3 longer then the 2020 version at 4:21 .
Because he didn't fully charge it in the 2nd video. That's why it was shorter. And no one said her "streams" got buffed. Just she got a free corrupt purge to start a game with.
Also also, the angle is diffrent in these 2 videos. Just slightly but it does make a diffrence.

I know its easier but nothing good comes easy, so if you want a good game you gotta work hard and go the extra mile to get it
I mean, it does its job. They could polish it in the future but i would rather they do other things first.

So, one map fix per update?

Why do we even exist...

I didn't say his chain should break i think it should get caught on the object but his chain cutting all the way through a wall as he goes around to the door is not latency, im not talking when he shoots im talking about after hes hit you and walks around while his chain cuts through every thing, how is it some ethereal chain that ghosts through objects but still able to pull a person
It's easier than making it wrap around objects.
-
- It is possible
- Locker mori - Yes.
- Use PWYF (a must) and some slowdown perks.
-
For Example why does doc lose bloodlust while shocking but Freddy doesn't while placing snaresFreddy isn't directly affecting you at that moment, while Doc is. (although i was pretty sure he doesn't lose bloodlust well golly me)
or death slinger being a ranged killer but a super small terror radius making him a stealth killer where every killer which has some kind of ranged/teleport power has a regular terror radius/something else allowing survivors to know they are close because they are able to get a hit or close the distance in some way.Diffrence is - DS cannot down you with his power alone. Huntress can. And wdym Hag has 24m radius (with teleports that she placed) and Freddy has 32m (but only to gens)
also the fact oni doesn't lose his power when stunned but plague does when she gets her power a whole lot less than oni doesEm... On this one i dunno. This does seem a little inconsistent.
-
She legit wasn't touched tho.
They only buffed her actually, giving her one guaranteed pool at the start of the game.
-
Kinda like in Fortnite? Yeah i don't seen an issue with that.
Even the shop cosmetics banners could be loading screens!
-
It's interesting to see that the killer's camera is more close to the torso. (i think that was mentioned somewhere but i just forgot)
-
It requires 2 perk slots. Remember the old bugged Wake Up? Yeah if it was one perk that did that i would be happy to nerf that. But it's a combo of perks.
-
Post number 323442132 about matchmaking.
They're working on it™.
-
the amount of evil is so bad you need to stalk everyoneWell yeah, because it allows you to kill anyone on spot... And you had this thing which further increases evil required.
Either get rid of Judith's Tombstone or remove the speed nerf. That's why it has a super specific build to go with it. Because it CAN be powerfull.

Rewards the survivors for messing up and it has too much of an impact.
Actually it punishes killer for being too greedy.
-
The noise prompt for his blast is too delayed and little too quiet in my opinon. This i can agree with. You literally cannot hear it sometimes.
But i think the other things are fine.

Thanks for your advice.
I've made some suggestions before in best manners, which have also been ignored. That's fine with me.
When I see what is being responded to, namely from my point of view on issues where people grumble or even shout, if you can call it that, I thought I would do the same.
Especially if you as a manufacturer want to have feedback, then you should appreciate it.
I haven't spent money on DBD in a long time. Why should I? For cosmetics?
It would be my appreciation for the game and the devs. And the only thing I expect is that serious suggestions, which also take time, don't go unread.
Otherwise I can assume that the desire for suggestions for improvement is by far not as serious as they would have me believe.
You don't know if they read or not read your suggestions. Maybe they did, and thought it wouldn't be the best to do that thing.

I'm sure most killers would prefer a non-instant queue time in exchange for a match that doesn't lead to them getting stomped by red ranks when they themselves are green ranks.
Again, im just going by your 1st point "Bloodpoint compensation" aka IF those matches did happen (and they do and will until they finish their hidden mmr thingy) that survivors (because its mostly happening on that side) would get less bp while killers would get more.
-
@Fogfactor said:

There's already too many people playing survivor and not enough playing killer. The queue times for survivors are long because the game requires a killer to be in a lobby first, not because there's an shortage of survivors.
Dependable. And i was saying it would result in higher waiting times for killers. Less survivors would play survivor or would swap to killer. (if they care about bloodpoints)
-
1. This would lead to less survivors playing survivor (if that happens a lot). Then it would result in higher waiting times.
2. What would be the point of that?
3. And this was kinda how it was supposed to work. (Highest member's rank gets priority)
-
Not even red ranks want to play with red ranks.

how would you change it, im open for critic
Not add XP/BP Boosters at all, instead change base bp gains a bit. Or do Bloodrushes (1,5 bp events) more often.
