How To Fix Steve's Perks
Everyone knows that Steve's perks aren't viable to run in a trial unless for a combo, so here's some changes that could make them better.
Babysitter:
1. After unhooking another survivor you both receive a 1/2/3% haste status effect as long as he/she remains within the killer's terror radius.
2. You will still see the killer's aura for the basic time.
3. You receive 100% more bloodpoints for protection and distraction scoring events. You receive 75% more bloodpoints for safe hook rescue scoring events.
Camaraderie:
1. You can place down three beacons (similar to a glass bead on a map) around the map at one time that all other survivors can see.
2. You will be met with a static noise when moving in the direction of other survivors while you are in a chase.
Second Wind:
After being unhooked or unhooking yourself, you receive a 1/2/3% haste status effect for 31/28/25 seconds. After the timer has ended you will heal from the injured state to the healthy state, or the dying state to the injured state. During this time you will suffer from the broken status effect.
Edit: Word fixes
Edit 2: Second Wind tweaks
Edit 3: Babysitter change
Edit 4: Removal of exposed status effect from Second Wind
Comments
Babysitter: Wouldn't it be worse? Or atleast even more combo relevant?
Camaraderie: Decent.
Second Wind:
If you heal from injured to healthy, you will suffer from the exposed status effect for 12/11/10 seconds.Just why?All of these I'm against personally. They definitely need buffs, but Babysitter is very situational and the buff is almost useless, Camaraderie makes it so you don't need a map no more, and Second Wind doesn't need the exposed status effect.
The exposed status effect is in place because you heal a full health state. It's 5 seconds faster and you move 3% faster for the time.
The perk changes were meant to stay in touch with Steve's lore while also being useful.
Babysitter:
Steve is normally around the kids in the show and gives a lot to protect them.
Camaraderie: Steve is always in touch with people in action sort of moments.
Second Wind:
Steve pulls through a lot in the show, but he also gets his ass kicked a lot at the same time.
Okay... you missed useful on babysitter. Unless you want that boost on bloodpoins
Then... revert it to 30 and without haste?
Like that idea about the "second wind", that perk should guarantee one state of healing, or it is not practical at all.
